Lamaze High Contrast Foot Finders

My almost 5 month old loves these! I think they could have been made better. They don't stretch so it's difficult to put these on. They aren't like other booties, socks, etc. that are made with the contours of feet in mind but rather a long "tube-like" cover for your baby's foot. Plus, I think they are a little too short in length. Without any stretch to them, they tend to ride down my baby's foot and eventually come off. It gets annoying to constantly be putting them back on or adjusting them frequently. These could be really great but have room for improvement.

these are awesome/!! i put em on my 3 month old and i put her in her crib and she starts kicking away,babbling,giggling and shes having so much fun!! i also have the wrist rattles!! LOVE THEM Highly reccomended!!! :) :)

The high contrast design fascinates her. Beyond that I do not recommend this product. It didn't fit her at three months old. They where not shaped for the feet so they fit awkwardly. They did not rattle loudly either.

I bought these for our 3 month old granddaughter. The bright colors really catch her attention, but the fabric is not like a sock and does not stretch. We also bought the other set that has the solid color sock and those stretch and fit on the feet perfectly. She still love the color and plays with them in her hand, but not what they were made for.

I just purchased this item at a local Target and I have to say, no other toy has kept my son's attention as long as this toy did. The balls pop like popcorn and the"drum" underneath it is activated to pop the balls every time something touches it. There is also a fun spinning rattle in the front that also activates the "popper." And fun music to accompany the movement. The balls can fall through a hole in the side and come out the dinosaur's mouth as well, and you can feed them into the popper with the dinosaur's tail. This is such a creative toy and also helps him with his fine motor skills as he is always trying to grasp the ball. It is also a great "cause-and-effect" toy if your baby is in that stage where he/she enjoys that kind of thing. My son is about 8 months right now and loves it! He has literally played with it for over a half hour and always goes back to it.

Truly the best popper on the market. I bought 3 others and they either did not pop right, or it did not hold a child's interest, or the balls flew across the floor and within 5 seconds all the balls flew out and the child was no longer interested. This new product is the BEST on the market.

We bought this for my son's first birthday, we thought he would LOVE it b/c it looked like a fun toy. Thing is it's kind of very loud and it scares him a little. We often have to show him it's ok to play with it before he plays with it. Once he gets comfortable with the noises it makes he will play with it for a good 30-45 mins (which is a long time for him). Now if it's turned off...it's one of his favorite toys! LOL The little balls are the perfect size for him to grasp and throw. It's great toy to teach kids cause and effect and hand/eye coordination.

My son is so simple. He would prefer to play with a solo cup over his fancy toys. However, nothing keeps his attention for too long. With that being said, HE LOVES THIS TOY! It is his favorite without a doubt! He can play with it for a good portion of the day. He is at the stage now where he likes for me to walk him around the house, and whenever he gets to his Dino toy he plops his tush down and plays! I bought this for our son when he was two (now 4), when we put him in a "big boy bed". He was very excited when we got it. He loved hitting it on the head to make it turn on and off. The colors transitioned as they were suppose to. I was dissapointed in the product though.

1) It is very hard. I was expecting a softer product. It almost feels like porcelin.

2)You have to hit it VERY hard and it hurts a grown ups hand

3)It is way too bright! Not a soft sleeping light. It is very bright and almost over stimulating.

4)If not plugged in and left with the child all night the battery dies around 3 or 4 am. It stays on red for a while and then dies. I was woken up several times when this started happening

5)After the first week the fuz on the arms was completely gone and peeling from the other places (legs, ears. ect.)My kids are generally very gentle on their toys, don't chew on things,ect. so I was very surprised

I did write the seller and they sent a new one and said we could keep the "deffective" one.

The new one we keep plugged in on a shelf so it stays on all night. We tapp the feet on the shelf to avoid smacking it with out hands.

Over all, for a child's night light which advertises it can be taken to bed with them I was expecting something more kid friendly. I should be softer, more durable, have a battery that lasts through the night, and should be dimmer for better sleeping.

So cute and fun for my daughter to play with before bed. It charges up with the included cord and the charge lasts for weeks with the our use. It has a small switch on the bottom to keep it from turning on randomly. It is motion sensitive so little bumps turn it on. The light is bright enough to use as night light but soft enough to not keep her awake. The colors change as well which is fun.

Lamaze Learn to Dress Activity Doll

Got this for my 2 year old grandson. He loves cows and is a birght boy who likes to do things himself. Thought this would help him with dressing himself. The big button made him want to pull te button off instead of undoing the button from the strap. I even had a difficult time getting it over the button and then the button hole started fraying. The shoestring is a very skinny string and not like a real shoestring. Hard for his little fingers to handle. The zipper is VERY difficult to pull open even for me. The buckle and the velcro button were OK. That is all there is to do with this. He likes the cow and tries pulling off the hat, which is sewn on and not removable. All-in-all I am not impressed with this toy. Years ago, my kids had a doll that was much better made and could actually remove clothes when you did the other functions. That was a much better learning tool than this is.

Farmer Fred is just an ok doll for teaching things such as how to use a buckle, zipper, button, etc. In particular the button is way too big for the hole so I can't even get it through! The laces on the shoe are really short and it's difficult as well. The zipper is fine, but that's about it. It's cute enough as a regular old stuffed animal but I wouldn't recommend this one for teaching these skills. I think I'll just make something myself!

I was extremely pleased with this Lamaze Learning doll. My granddaughter is just now 2 years old and is enjoying her "baby". She hasn't quite figured out all the buttons, laces and buckles but this doll will spur her imagination and be a fun learning tool. The doll came in its original packaging and was new. Tolo Toys Classic Drum

My baby loves this drum. Her hippie aunt into drum circles picked this out for her a couple of months ago for her first birthday and it has been a hit ever since! The top and bottom pieces of the drum can be taken apart and used separately so sometimes we drum along together. She loves to take one of the drums into her baby armchair and drum away. I think it's gotten her even more into music and beats. It's been tossed around too and it's holding up really well so I'm happy about the quality.

I think there are other drums out there that are more engaging and more likely to entice your child to play with it. I was disappointed in the sound it produces too.

Lamaze Play & Grow, Moose

Mortimer the Moose was a hit with my daughter who is only 3 months old but VERY active and attentive.

The moose has so many nice colors to attract my daughter's attention. In fact, as soon as she saw the moose, she smiled and kicked.

Given the size of the moose (fairly large), it is not a problem for her to handle it since there are so many places she can hold on to. She is easily able to grip onto the mooses legs and/or "ring" tail (the tail of the moose is 2 textured rings, which makes for easier handling with little ones that have such small fingers).

The ears are gummy and great for teething babies. But for my 3 month old who has no teeth just yet, she is content to suck on the mouth of the moose which is soft, instead. The nice thing about this is I don't have to worry about the fur coming off and her choking on it.

This moose is wonderful for her motor skills. I like the fact that it is all-in-one--a chew toy (ears are gummy); a rattle (2 hoofs rattle), a crinkler (two hoofs crinkle when squeezed); has play rings (tail is made up of 2 colorful, textured rings); a stuffed animal (something to hold that's soft and cuddly); the scarf crinkles; the body of the moose has a squeak toy inside, so when you press the body it makes a squeaking noise; and last but not least, it even has a hook (ring shaped with opening) to allow you to hang the moose any where you'd like.

For the price, it's a wonderful gift, a great deal and will sure to be a hit with the infants! (BTW, even my 3 year old loved it!)

This is one of my 5 month old's favorite toys. It keeps his attention for a good amount of time. He loves the crinkle sounds and teething antlers. I love that it comes with an attachment hook, making it very easy not to lose. It has a high cute factor too. I would definitely recommend Morti to any friends.

This toy is really cute and makes great sounds, but my 4 month old has a hard time grabbing most parts of it. The tail has rings that she can grab, but the hooves are rather large, she tries to grab the feet part instead of the legs. The antlers that appear to be good to gnaw on are not all that easy for my daughter to get her mouth on, plus I worry about the pointier edges. Although this is cute, bright, and has lots of different materials, there are better toys.

UPDATE: Now that my daughter is closer to 9 months, she is loving this toy. She grabs the hooves and swings it around and really enjoys the rings on the tail.

I bought 4 Lamaze toys based on their 5 stars reviews, Buzz the Bug, Freddie the Firefly, Mortimer the Moose, and Jacques the Peacock. They are all beautiful and good quality and all have teething rings, squeakers, crinkles, and rattles. BUT to be honest Jacques the Peacock beats them all so easily, my baby only cares about jack. When she was born I show her the High contrast Black and White dots on jack's wings, and she was so mesmerized for several minutes.. I bought this product for my 5 year old son, It didn't work--

so I called the ALEX offices, and they explained that it works on infrared light. So we turned off the lights in the bathroom and it works like a charm. My son loves playing "basketball in the dark tubby" The lights are so bright and the cheering is great. Sort of added another fun aspect of the toy.

For some reason this toy is listen on Amazon multiple times and all the other reviews say it's junk and the score board does not work. Personally, I bought it, and returned it for that exact reason, and the new one had the same problem. It's going back too. Do not buy this.

Baby Einstein Discovering Music Activity Table

We received this for a Christmas present. My son continues to love this toy. He now stands up to play it. I would recommend this toy with one important warning. The center globe has a flap or page that his likes to turn. It switches from one mode to another with this turning. Unfortunately, the globe is not perfectly round so that when it is right in the middle, there is an opening and my baby's fingers get caught in it. A few times, he cried and I was able to see it and take it out. The last time he got his finger more severely stuck in it and then fell down contorting his finger in it further. I ran to him by then he was screaming (I was just about 10 ft away); the end of his finger was purple from lack of circulation. It took 10 minutes to calm him, he refused ice so I stuck it in snow while he still cried.

Solution-I was able to remove the flap. Now, he just has that one mode which he still enjoys. He laughs at the duck and bard sounds.

I am online to write to Baby Einstein and tell them of these incidents. I think they and you should know.

My husband just got this for our 11 month old son for Christmas. He loved it! The table slides if you put it on hardwood floor but is pretty stable on a playmat. He spends a lot more time on this toy than other toys. But today when he was flipping the "page" over, his little finger got stuck between the "page" and the smiley face. He didn't know how to get it out and ended up wedging it in further and started crying and screaming. It was stuck pretty tight, I couldn't even push the "page" back up; I thought it would cut his little finger off! I ended up using brute force to pry it out.

My daughter absolutely loves this toy. Plays with it most out of everything. BUT just as previous reviews have stated there is a plastic flap in the center that changes modes which is so dangerous. Your child will most likely put a lot of their weight on this table while standing over it and in doing so they place their little hands right in the danger zone of this flap. Once they go to flip the plastic flap over they can do so right onto their fingers and then not know how to pull their hand out from under it. My daughter not only did this put continued to put more of her weight onto it pushing it harder into her little finger. She was screaming and her finger was bleeding and swollen. Such a nightmare. I ended up having to tape the flap down and unfortunately she now can only enjoy the toy in one mode. I wish they would fix this problem as it is a nice toy. I wrote to the company and hopefully they remedy this issue. I wanted to write this review in hopes of saving another child from getting hurt or if u are thinking of purchasing this item please remove or tape down that flap!

If my daughter got used to everything lighting up with one little touch how would she enjoy playing with her more simple toys after this? Small World Toys Gerty Balls Gertie Hoop

This is the best basketball net on the market. Like a real net and rim, but flexible in that you can set it at any height. My baby used this sitting, and as he started standing, we would raise it up the glass door. Our dog popped the ball quite quickly and we were able to use every other ball in the house (including full size basketballs) until the weight and usage by our older family members, finally damages the suction cups. I have had great difficulty finding this on the market and am purchasing a backup one, and extras for gifts. BTW, my husband is a basketball coach, and the ease of storage and durability combined with quality of the product and low price make this an ubeatable hoop.....

My 7 year old loves this hoop! He is a diehard b-ball player, and practices every day. We researched for a durable indoor hoop that he could dunk with. He finally broke his first Gertie after 5 months of daily use. We happily ordered another. One note: the suction cups don't really work for serious play. We immediately duct taped the hoop to the base. Not totally pretty, but it is practical!

Apart from the fact that this comes with literally no instructions on how to hang the hoop (not that they're really needed) the major flaw is that the ball doesn't fit through the hoop! Now, I may not be a pro at basketball, but I'm pretty sure that's one of the basics. The whole ball going through the hoop part. Also, the net hangs down about 4 inches from the rim. More than anything, it's just bizarre. Not at all as pictured. We can use it with other balls, it's just plain confusing why they would include a ball that doesn't fit through the hoop.

I bought this feeder because my 6 month old son always was grabbing at my food and trying to eat my apple, pear, etc when I was eating and he has always stuck everything in his mouth since he was really little, probably partially due to teething. He has taken right to using this and it keeps him happy for a while when we are in public and I want to wait a bit to nurse him (by the way he has never taken to a pacifier but took to this the first time). During the hectic mornings I give this to him with slices of fruit and he happily feeds himself breakfast while I get my other son ready. It's super easy to clean and transport I just take it empty and pack an apple in my bag and then bite of a piece for him when he gets hungry and let him chew away. I only wish the handles were a little bigger as they seem a little small to me, but this hasn't caused an issue for my son holding the feeded on his own. Thanks Kidsme for a great product!

I should have checked the reviews before buying. Most reviewers only have this 1 review. Hmmm... Anyways, the holes are too big and too many for young infants. My 5 1/2 month old put it in her mouth, nibbled once, then gagged. I tested it and found that quite a bit comes out. I can just squeeze the feeder and see too much gushing out. It's good portion for babies used to solids, but not for ones being introduced to solids. Maybe for an older infant it might be better? Grandma noted that the gagging might also be due to the length of the silicone portion (too long). The length would be fine if the width was wider. The width is about an inch...ummm that means babies can shove the whole thing in their mouth. I truly don't suggest this for 4 months and up like stated in the product description...more like 7 months and up. Pros: It's a good concept. It was easy to clean. Daughter held it easily in both hands. Hope that helps with anyone considering to purchase.

I was really excited about getting this food feeder because my 5 1/2 months old baby liked sucking on fresh fruit (like apples or pears) but i was always scared that she might choke on it if a big piece gets in her throat. I tried to put pieces of apple in the feeder and give it to her but she didn't like it and just spit it. You have to really squeeze it to get some fruit come out. Maybe it's because my baby never took pacifiers or bottles, she just doesn't like any plastic stuff in her mouth. The feeder looks very cute though and easy to hold for little hands. The size of food you can fit in here is the top joint of a finger. It's *almost* small enough to just give a young child that size... so to make this more useful, I might go up to the bigger size version of the same product. (Note-I started using at 6 months. Maybe I'd prefer this size if I really was starting at 4 months, as the product is labeled for).
