Garanimals Pull Apart Shape Sorter

While I semi-agree with other posters that the toy was a little difficult to pull apart to get the shapes out, it didn't deter us from loving the toy. An adult does have to pull apart the ball and get the shapes out for the child. Actually the string inside ours that keeps the two sides attached actually broke after using the toy for about a month, but it was the best thing that happened to the toy. The two sides are now easy to pull apart and still easily stay back together.

The thing that I love about this toy over other shape sorters is that the shapes go into their holes easily and the holes are the same color as their corresponding shapes, making it easier for young toddlers to find where the shape is supposed to go.

i dissagree with the other reviews, i have had absolutely no problem getting any of the shapes out of the ball. its very simple, even my 16 month old daughter can do it! i think this is a great toy and my youngest loves it, she can play with it all day. i love the brightness of the colors and that it can be used in so many different ways as well.

Great concept but next to impossible to get the shapes out of the ball. Generally requires one adult to pull the ball apart and another adult to pry the shapes out because the ball barely opens. The child then puts the shapes back in within a minute and the cycle begins again. Don't waste your money.

Do not buy this toy. It is impossible to use. Shame on you Garanimals! The shapes do not come out when you pull apart the ball or even when you shake it. You literally have to wedge your hand in there and shimmy them out. Totally a pain.

We haven't had issues opening ours like some of the other reviewers. Yes, an adult does need to do it, but it's not too difficult. I love how it incorporates shapes and colors. My son who is 21 months loves it.

Fisher-Price Miracles and Milestones - Mix and Match Blocks

The bright colors and high contrast patterns on these blocks are very exciting for my four-month-old baby. She loves that one block jingles, one rattles, and one vibrates. I do not attach the blocks case to her crib because I feel it is a suffocation risk, but we play with them together during tummy time daily. I rank this as a must-have!

I don't know what else to say about it because it doesn't offer any educational value. When the baby outgrows them they will get trashed. They are still cute and some have a rattling sound... they currently get thrown around because they are so soft and don't hurt.

Yeah, so they don't have any educational value or long term use as I originally stated... but they still live on through our dog Furbie! He loves the one that rattles. He plays catch with us. Fun for us.

Winfun Groovy Bongo Band

My 10-month old loves banging on his bongos! The left buttons allow him to switch the sound that is made (i.e. 'bongo' sound, horses, etc.) and the right buttons play a songs with various rhythms.

We bought this for our 10-month old granddaughter. She loves it, particuarly the ability to change the sounds made by the bongo to animal sounds. Her parents love it, particularly because they can turn it off when play time is over.

The item was dirty in the package. When I opened the shipping box, the item was in the "factory box". Inside this flimsy box (not suitable for retail sale) I found the item I ordered. I was very dusty/dirty and therefore not suitable for my baby. Also, the music is too loud so the bongo noise that baby would make would be drowned out. So I sent it back. I will look for real bongos for the price I paid for this toy.

It's a cute toy and my son is entertained while I make his breakfastlikes to spin the animals and the whole spinner part. However it gets 3 stars off bc it has poor suction. I really stick it good but it doesn't stay. My 4 month son is able to pull off... with his own hands and just playing with it the toy comes unstuck. Every morning while making breakfast at least once I will be either 1) picking it up off the floor or 2) having to restick it bc he is waving it around (and its bigger than his rattle balland harderalready 1 incident where he hit himself in the facethankfully not hard enough to cry but I can see where a baby could end up wacking their self pretty good). When it is stuck he enjoys itI am looking for a toy with better suction tho.

Robin Deluxe Muscle Chest Child Costume

My 6 year old son wanted to be Robin for Halloween because his cousin was going as Batman. When we received the costume, I took it out of the package for my son to try on to see if there were any problems. We had a couple of problems. The mask was too small. There was also a problem with the cape. I called and called CostumeHub no one answered the phone. It was during the Halloween season so I left messages on 2 different occasions. No one ever returned my call. I had to go and buy a new mask for the costume. I had to safety pin the cape. I did receive an email from CostumeHub wanting me to give them a good review on Amazon. I told them that I was not happy with my CostumeHub experience. They wanted to know what my issues were. I sent them an email detailing my problems and I have yet to hear back..that was 2 weeks ago. If you are going to buy a costume, I would NOT buy one from CostumeHub!!

I purchased this for my son who is 4yo. At first I purchased the 3t-4t size costume but that was super long on him. (when I held it up I swear it would be long enough for some 8yo's that I know!) So I purchased the one for 1T-2T and the length is perfect. It is a bit snug but a better fit overall. My son is on the smaller size... 32lbs and 40" tall to give you an idea. I returned the original size without a problem.

Anyhow, the costume is great for the price. I wouldn't say the quality is great but it's good enough for a toddler and gets the job done. I do wish the mask was a bit bigger. It is very snug and he does not like to wear it for long. And the masks are both the same size from both different size costumes.

This is a great costume!! My son looks adorable! And thanks to the previous reviews I knew to order the size 2-4 for my almost 4 year old (who wears 4-5 tops and 4t bottoms). It fits him Perfectly! And he loves it! It comes in 4 sperate piecesthe suite, belt, cape and mask. The mask fits well but the eye holes werent great so I got my scissors out and fixed them right up. One thing that is different from what I was expecting is the muscled chestits not filled and pillowy like most muscled costumes, its a plastic insert but he hasnt complined about it being uncomfortable at all, just thought Id mention it.

My son received tad for his first birthday and was drawn to it the moment it came out of the packaging. Each of the five options (hand, clap, foot, dance and belly) play three different things some are songs and some are speech. The night-mode feature plays music for 5 or 10 minutes. Every night, we play with Tad in day-mode and laugh and dance for a bit, then switch to night-mode and drift off to sleep.

The big, bright eyes are the best part Tad looks so surprised and excited. My son laughs like a fool when I hide Tad's face, then show it suddenly, like peekaboo.

Only one minor quibble I find it odd for a toy that encourages clapping to be unable to join its own hands together to clap itself. The arms are too short!

I have an 18-year-old daughter with severe disabilities. She loves this toy because she is able to activate the sounds easily. Lamaze Freddie The Firefly Musical Mobile

I ordered this after spending a few weeks looking for a stimulating mobile that would look OK in my baby's room. I just hooked it up for my son who is 2.5 months and he loves it! He smiles and laughs, with arms and legs moving like crazy. Plus, the design isn't too overwhelming. I definitely recommend this to all parents looking for an engaging, stimulating mobile. It's become a go-to toy. Hard to tell if it will ever put him to sleep, but the 20-30 minutes of engagement (read quiet time) is totally worth the $40.

I had really high hopes for this item so I guess that is why I am so disappointed with it.

This moves too slow and the motion it does is not easily viewable when laying upside down in a crib.

My son loves the look of it and the colors but is otherwise bored with this. This mobile hangs from a plastic arm that curves outward over the crib. If you are there with your child, you can push it so it swings back and forth while the butterfly goes up and down. If you do not do that, I do not believe this will provide enough stimulation for you child while in the crib looking up.

To fix this, the motorized motion should swing the arm left to right while also having the butterfly go up and down with its wings. Barring that, I find this completely lacking and in my case, did not live up to expectations nor did it adequately entertain my son.

This thing is WONDERFUL! It's HUGE, well made, and my son LOVES it. He will sit under it and just coo and babble at it for a good 30 minutes. The best part? It doesn't even need to be on! The patterns and colors captivate him enough. When I turn it on, and the music plays, and the wings flap, he absolutely loses it! He doesn't stop smiling and kicking his legs and arms. We're both VERY, VERY, happy with this product!

The only things I don't like:

You have to manually change the songs. While the songs are cute, and not as annoying as most other mobiles, I don't really want to listen to the same one for 15 or 30 minutes.

There is no mute button. There are two volume levels; "soft" or "deafening". Okay, it's really not *that* loud, but it's pretty loud, and there's no way to turn it on the quieter setting first. It always plays the first song at the highest volume.

The firefly, itself, doesn't spin. There's nothing that says it does, but it would be nice if it did. It just dangles from a hook on the arm and sometimes my son just needs that little extra movement to keep his attention. But, it's nothing a little manual spinning doesn't solve. It'd just be nice if it did it on it's own.

The arm that hangs over the bed wiggles back and forth A LOT. While I'm sure it's not going to break off, I would feel better if it were a bit more steady.

The wings are a little difficult to switch. My son is easily captivated by the different sides, but sometimes he favors one over the other. It's not that big of a deal, the joints are just a little snug (which wouldn't be a complaint if I didn't want to switch them :P)

Unlike most mobiles where a child lying in a crib only sees a odd shapes floating by, this mobile fully captures my son's attention for long periods. Melissa & Doug Playful Puppy Pull Toy

The wheels often stick so that the toy just drags on both wooden floors and carpet. I looked at it, and it seems the leg & wheel pieces often wiggle into a position where they are too tight together and they just can't move. The design is clunky too and the pull string is a bit too short.

PASS on the puppy pull toy and go straight for the Frolicking Frog by the same company, Melissa & Doug. The frog is great!

This toy does not roll. You might as well tie a string to a box and drag it around the kitchen or the family room.

I bought this for my 18 month old son after he was dragging my work ID badge and lanyard around like a pull toy. He still likes my work ID, but this is a close runner up :). It's very sturdy and doesn't fall on its side too easily, which is great for when he takes corners. he got another pull toy as a gift that has a much narrower base, and it frustrates him a lot when it constantly falls over, so I appreciate the construction of this puppy. The string is a good length, my only complaint is that it doesn't have something easier to grab onto on the end--it has a tendency to slip out of my son's hands, since he's still working on that fine motor gripping. This is easily remedied by a little craftiness to tie the string onto a small wooden cylinder (think kite flying). overall, a great simple toy.

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Shake and Chime Ducky Ball

Grandma brought this toy to our little 3 month and 1 week old on a weekend visit. He always wanted to play with it due to the bright colors and fun jingle noise, but he'd often get frustrated with it. Makes sense since the box says it is for 6 36 months. Well, now that he is 6 months he does love it. He's been able to play with it without much frustration since about 5 months.

Educational value: I really think this toy helped him improve his grasping, the legs and handles are easy to get chunky little hands around. It was also a great toy to use when I wanted to encourage him to sit on his own, as the toy is easier to play with while sitting.

Fun value: When he was too little to play with it on his own but still intrigued by it's fun design I would hold on to the taggy-tail and shake the ball over him while he laid on his back. Guaranteed giggles every time. I don't know if it was the ball jingling or the funny face that got him, but he always returned a smile while this thing dangled over him.

Durable value: My boy has pinched, licked, and slobbered all over this thing. I can't imagine it will last forever, but for $10 it holds up well. Easy to clean, easy to re-inflate (when it starts to flatten out).

I don't know that I'd tell mothers to run out and buy it, but if you are in the market for a toy ball I definitely recommend this one. Also, it makes a great gift for all you aunts and grandma's out there.

I worried that the simplistic nature of this toy would make it boring, but not for my 8 months old. The "wings" and legs are easy for him to hold, and he just loves to shake it and hear it jingle! Giving 4 stars because the valve where you blow air in is tricky to reach around the fabric and leaks a bit, but this may just be me.

This is an adorable accessory for the stroller. The baby really likes pulling and grabbing different things from this. It is also very cute and is soft to the touch. I also like you can wash as it kids have these things in their mouths all the time.

I recently picked this up from our local Costco for a few bucks less. My 12 month old loves the shape sorter, pushing his ears. We are still working or putting the correct shapes in the right holes. The triangle is cute as well and makes all sorts of fun noises. I guess it teaches cause and effect, but that's about it for the triangle. I favor the elephant just because it teaches shapes and colors. Overall a very good bang for your buck, cute and battery free. Which is key in this house!

I bought this toy mainly because my baby's picture is on the package. It is a good toy. My 18 month old enjoys sorting the shapes and playing with the triangle.

I received this as a gift for my 9 months old. It's a nice little phone, I like that the sound is not too loud. On low it's barely audible, on high it's the right volume. I think the reason the sound is so low is because it's a phone, and your little one might like to put it to his ear like mine does. So no need for crazy loud music. You can press buttons and it plays a short little tune, or it says the numbers and makes dial sound. There are 9 different melodies and the little screen lights up when the music plays. This is a simple little toy, that does not do too much or too little, it's not too loud, it's well made, sturdy and cute, my daughter likes it and so do I. I highly recommend it.

My daughter likes the phone a lot, but it's a lot smaller then the picture shows. Even the girl on the box is holding a bigger phone then what is shown. Also the sound is very low, even when on the high setting its still low. Other then that, it's a good toy for the kids.

I think this is a cute phone and my daughter is interested. Right now it doesn't matter bc she's only 6 months but the phone volume on my unit must be defective because it is so soft you can't even make out what its saying (unless you put the backside up to your ear and pushed the buttons without looking at them). Again, mine must be defective. There are 2 volume levels and neither one are audible when you hold it in your hands and dial. For that, I give it only 3 stars. Otherwise, it is cute and seemingly durable although we have not really put it to the test.

I received these as a shower gift and put them away in the closet. When my son was 3 1/2 months old I was looking through things to find toys for him to play with I got these out and put them on his car seat. He couldn't reach them so I took them off and handed one to him to hold. He loves it. We went from fussy rides in the car, even though he has an expensive lights and sound mirror, to watching him play with the teddy bear most of the ride. We put one in Daddy's car seat and the other in a seat in the house. These are great. He absolutely loves them at 4 1/2 months.

Radio Flyer Sport Coupe Red

My son received this coupe for his 2nd birthday and I've been unable to get him out of it since then. The radio plays three short tunes, the blinkers (on the inside of the car) blink, and he has a horn. His favorite things, however, are the door and the steering wheel. The "floor board" slides forward if they want their feet up, or back if they want to "drive" themselves around. And, the handle extends to a nice height, even for tall parents, so you aren't forced to bend over in order to push them around. The only downside I see is the wheels are as with a lot of push/pull toys two pieces of plastic snapped together to form the wheel, so you can already see where much wear on them on outside surfaces would cause the wheels to crack in half. That is a downside, since, due to the nice handle in the back, it would be great to use outdoors when I go on walks, but I'm really afraid it will shorten the "life" of the toy.

My son just got this for his first birthday and it was the hit of the party! He obviously can't push himself around in it yet, but he LOVES to sit in in and have us push him around the house. The handle is adjustable, so his big brothers can push him around and then we can extend the handle and me or my husband can push him without breaking our backs. I am looking forward to using it on walks this summer! The only thing I wish was different, is that I wish there was a seatbelt inside. My little guy wants to stand on the seat all the time!

I bought the Radio Flyer Sport Coupe a couple of months ago when my son was about 7mths old. Honestly, I initially was going to purchase this car for looks! But after reading reviews and comparing prices. I decided that for the length of time that he could use this car, it's worth the extra $$. Plus it's way nicer looking than anything else out there. As soon as it arrived I started putting it together. Instructions are fairly easy and pretty fool proof. My son just sat in his walker waiting patiently, but the second I put him in he grabbed the wheel and had a huge smile on his face. Prior reviews mentioned the car not having a seatbelt, but it does now and yes you do need it! This car was a lifesaver over the Summer! I also have an 8 year old that plays softball and we are ALWAYS at the park. Now the baby gets to cruise around the fields in style and I don't have a fussy baby stuck in a stroller. PLUS! 8 & 9 year old girls love pushing little babies around! The reason I said you need the seatbelt is because of the side door that has the ability to open and close. He was not buckled in and leaned over the side trying to reach for something and kerplunk! He rolled out! Luckily onto carpet since we were indoors, so he was fine! Also, some people complained about the wheels. They are plastic and do not have any traction, but we've done just fine at parks over dirt, grass, hills, concrete..etc.

Now...my only complaint! And I'm not sure how this happened, but from one day to the next the left front wheel started to wobble. I noticed the part where the bearing is may be a little loose. Not sure if this just happened on it's own or if the older kids who thought it would be fun to push their 3 year old little sister a little too hard around the park did it. Either way, I need to see if I could tighten the wheel. All it does is wobble, the car still works fine and we are still using it.

So other than that! Love this car! As a matter of fact, I used it earlier this evening while my daughter took her dog for a walk. It gets "oohs and aahs" from onlookers everytime.

I bought this toy for my daughter at the beginning of summer, and she absolutely loved it. The problem is that you can only drive it on a hard surface. We took it camping with us and the front tire snapped when pushing our daughter through some tall grass. My other complaint is that the color faded to a dingy pink within two months. On the bright side, my daughter still loves it and sits in it all the time and my husband fixed the tire enough so we can push it on hard surfaces.

I bought this Push and ride car for my daughters first birthday. She loves it. We have a long lane and she enjoys riding out to get the mail. My biggest complaint about all the riding and push toys is the plastic wheels. They make a noisy ride. She likes to open and close door and the cute music.It does not have seat belts to keep her from standing up. Over all we have allot of fun and would highly recommend it.
