If you are looking for a special stuffed animal for your little love, look no further than the Jellycat line of stuffed animals. My daughter had NEVER attached to any toy, blanket, etc, had never shown any special interest UNTIL I bought her this beautiful lamb. I thought it would be yet another toy lost in her toy basket but I was very wrong. From day one she has loved this stuffed animal.

OVERVIEW:

This stuffed animal is VERY soft and very cute. Some complain about the size of the stuffed animals compared to cost, but they seem to be perfect size for my 16 mo old. Plus, the amazing quality, softness, design of these stuffed animals make them worth every penny to me.

CARE:

It was hard for me to find washing instructions for the Jellycat line, so I took a chance, stuck the little lamb in a washing bag, washed it on "hand wash" cycle, with woolite, and it came out fine! I have since washed it a couple times, and it is fine.

CONS:

I really wouldn't say it's a con, but after all the love my daughter gives her Jellycat stuffed animals they aren't as super silky soft as they were the day we got them, but they are still very soft.

FURTHER RECOMMENDATIONS/SUGGESTIONS: We have bought the Jellycat bashful lamb 12", Sherbet kitten 12", and woodland bunny 12". My daughter loves them all, but by far her favorite is the woodland bunny, and it's mine too. It's so beautiful, the colors are great. I can say that the following Jellycat lines are super soft: Sherbet, Woodland, and Bashful, I can't speak for the other lines. The only one we were disappointed in was the truffle line. We bought the pig, and my daughter didn't like it at all, so it was returned. Just not the super soft feel of the other lines we had purchased.

BOTTOM LINE: Amazing, you can't find a cuter, softer little lamb :)

Every baby needs a lamb...well that is my belief...and Bashful is the softest, sweetest lamb I have seen in a long time. I have purchased several over this past year and have given the lambs as baby shower gifts, baby gifts and as Christening gifts:the Christened child has become a lamb of God. Every family was pleased with this gift. I purchased two to have on reserve as this little lamb by Jellycat can be challenging to locate in stores.

We bought this over a year ago for our then one-year old's birthday. She adores her Lambie. She carries her literally everywhere. These cups were given to my now 2-year-old son for his first birthday, though they were given to us late. He absolutely LOVES these cups. He plays with them in the shower, or wherever. He'll play with them outside. He loves filling them up with water and dumping them out. He love stacking them. I can't imagine not having these cups. They're one of those toys, like blocks, that help them learn the fundamentals and they'll never go out of style. We are getting another set because our new puppy found a couple and she chewed them rather thoroughly.

These cups were actually intelligently designed. On the bottom of each cup is an emboss of an animal and they go from smallest (1) to largest (12). Each cup's number holds that many ounces. The colors are also patterned, 4 colors, and they stay in sequence when the cups are put together.

I have these cups for my seven month old and he loves them! I'm not sure why babies find cups so entertaining, but they absolutely do! He loves to bang them together and chew on them! I love that these cups are educational too. They are all numbered in English, Spanish and French. Plus, they all have animals on them. All and all a great product!

My toddler (now 29 months old) has loved these pots and spoons since we got them for him (at about 12 months old). He's used them, on and off, all this time and it looks like he'll continue to use them in different capacities.

At first, when he was just barely walking, he liked to put balls and links (Boomerings and others) in the pots and pour them from one to another. He also liked to fill the pots and carry them around by the handle. Nesting the pots is something he doesn't seem to get tired of. In the last month, he's started using them for imaginative play, "eating" a spoon from the matching pot--and inviting you to join him!

Since these pots are identifiable colors (and match the spoons and Boomerings), it opens up a lot of learning play. "Can you bring me the RED pot?" "How many BLUE links are in the pot?" Et cetera. Eastern Jungle Gym High Back Full Bucket Swing With Coated Chain - Green

I purchased two of these swings for my grandchildren. I found numerous swings on line similiar to these and many were cheaper but I ordered these because they included the plastic coated chains. When I received the swings the chains were in the box but not attached to the swings like shown in the pictures and there was no hardware included for attaching them to the swings. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase the pieces I needed to attach the chains to the swings. You need two for a swing at $2.49 each at Lowes. The chains are also too short to attach to anything other than a typical A-frame swing set so if you plan to hang this from anything else plan on buying more chain. You will also need some type of connector if you plan to connect the swing to a typical A-Frame. For the price and through viewing the picture, I really expected to pull these out of the box and hang them up or at least have the chains attached to the swings. One of my daughters recently ordered a similiar swing for my other grandchild. These swings look identical but hers came with longer chains and they were attached to the swing. I recommend you make sure the chains are attached to the swings before purchasing.

This swing is exactly like the ones you see at the park. It's very durable. Easy to set up. The leg holes are a little small though, so we'll see if, once it wears in and forms to our son's bum that it becomes more comfortable. So far, so good.

I bought two of these swings because I have a 2 year old and 11 month old. They are defnitly good quality and look nice. The only problem I have with them is that the chains are a little too long, and that there is far too much room in the swing. It states on the back of the swing they are meant for 2-5 year olds but how many 5 year olds swing in a "baby" swing? I'm just going to put a towel in there with them to make it a little more comfy. Even with those issues, I stil wouldn't hesitate to buy these swings again or suggest them to a friend with kids.

Jellycat Moonbeam Bunny

This bunny is adorable and my daughter loves it. My daughter plays with it all the time and it is holding up very good; it is well made. The only issue we had were the eyes; they are hard plastic eyes and she could choke on them if she got the eye off somehow.

Thomas and Friends Bathtub Squirters

My 3 year-old son LOVES tub toys, especially tub squirters, so I thought these would be perfect given his obsession with Thomas the Tank Engine. And truth be told, he does like playing with them. But ...

* they don't float upright! They float lying on their sides.

* they're stiff & difficult to completely fill with water. If you want the water to squirt out the top of the train's funnel (like steam) they have to be totally full and you have to squeeze pretty hard. It's too difficult for my 3 year-old. When only partially filled (which is normal) you have to turn them upside down to get them to squirt. They squirt well like that a nice steady stream but kind of defeats the purpose.

Overall, my son likes them, but does get frustrated when they don't float upright. He likes playing with them out of the tub too. But, if I would have know the above things, I'm not sure I would have bought them. Even though they are only $10.

My 20-month-old son is a HUGE Thomas fan, so when I saw these recently at a store, I had to pick them up for him. They're adorable!

They work like any other bathtub squirter -just fill them up with water and squeeze them to watch water come out the "smokestack." (You have to fill them up pretty full for it to work properly, as the water is being squirted straight up.)

My son also enjoys playing with them outside of the tub. They don't really roll, as of course they don't have working wheels, but he still likes to make them "chug" across the floor.

Original review from 2009: We don't use these as bathtub squirters often, but we do like them as out of the tub toys. Our daughter takes them everywhere! The scent doesn't bother me at all. We got them when she was about 18 months and at 22 months, they're still going strong.. although they have lost a bit of color from all of the teething she does on them.

Updated 3 years later (12/07/12): she still plays with these and turns 5 next week and they are still in amazing shape! Money well spent!

This little bug is my 4 month old girl's favorite toy. She has been in love with it ever since her eyes could focus. The big black and white eyes and the antennas get her attention every time! Now that she is starting to grab things with her hands, this is still her favorite because of his polka-dotted feet! I bought this on a whim thinking it was cute. This is my baby's favorite toy and has been since he was 2 months old! I always have it on his car seat, because if he gets upset when we're in the car this toy is the one thing that distracts him and calms him down. He loves the spotted feet and smiley face. We gave this to my son as a toy to take with us to eat out when he was a few months old. Now, he's 8 months and still loves it. We strap it to his wrist or the high chair to keep it from being tossed on the floor. I've had to wash it a few times though when I forget and he drops it in dirty stuff. I wash it by hand and toss it in the dryer. It still vibrates just fine. He loves the dangly legs.

Just an edit, my son is one year old now and still goes back to this toy periodically to play with it.

Rosebud Angel Costume

This costume is cute but the wings do not stay open. They will have to be pinned or something to keep them open. The quilting in the front was undone in one spot. My daughter (6 years old) loves it and looks like an Angel in it. :)

My 2 year old daughter wore this costume for Halloween this year. It is pretty well made (in the USA, which I like). We received several compliments on it and inquiries as to where we purchased it. It held up well considering it was worn by a toddler. The feather trim on the wing was pulled loose and had to be repaired before we left the house and the some stitching on one of the sleeves came loose half way through. Not too bad overall. Sleep Buddy ~ Sleep Training System for Toddlers & Pre-schoolers

Purchased this for my boys room (3 and 2 years old) so that they would know when it was time to get up in the morning. The price was a bit high but we decided to go for it after reading some reviews on other websites. The product is very well made, has a quality feel and is easy to use (although a battery backup would be nice) it has taken several 3-year-old prompted flights across the room without damage. We have been using it for about 6 months now and overall I have been very pleased. We don't really use it for the going-to-bed time (because we aren't that consistent about bedtime), however we do use and enforce it in the mornings. The light instantly solved the issue of my 3 year old coming into my room every 5 minutes in the morning and asking if it was "time to wake up yet" (worth the money for this alone). It did take some time and consistent enforcement to get him to stay in bed until the light was out, and he still needs a reminder every once and awhile. He now knows that he can turn his light on and read in his bed until the sleep buddy goes out. My now 2 year-old (26 months) is just starting to understand the light and that he needs to stay in bed until it goes out; when be bought it we was only about 20 months old and the light was not effective at all (some other parents may be better at this than I). We appreciate the sleep buddy enough that we now take it on vacation with us (along with a noise maker which I would love to see incorporated into the sleep buddy). Overall I would recommend this product.

We absolutely cannot live (or sleep) without the Sleepbuddy! I'm not sure how or why it works so well, but it is truly AMAZING! It's an instant cue for my kids to get in bed, stay in bed, and go to sleep! I'm writing this review because we used the SleepBuddy for a long time and it worked great. It wasn't until we put it away for a couple weeks (thinking they didn't need it anymore) that we realized that the SleepBuddy truly was the key and tool to having great sleepers! Literally, the morning after we put our SleepBuddy away the kids were in our room at 6:30am on the dot. This was not a typical routine with the SleepBuddy set. We would have nice, long, quiet mornings without a peep in the house! For a week or two we didn't even make the connection that the early waking was directly related to the SleepBuddy being put away. Then it dawned on me that it was probably the absent SleepBuddy. That very night we got the SleepBuddy back out, we set it up before bed, read the book, and all three kids were quiet in their rooms until 8am! I promise I'm not exaggerating! Two week without the SleepBuddy and they were up at the crack of dawn. The first night back and we got a couple more hours of sleep:) That was definitely a happy realization in our house. Yet another perfect example of how awesome the SleepBuddy System is and proof that it actually works! We will no longer sleep without the SleepBuddy. I purchased the Sleep Buddy directly from their website at 4AM a month ago after another sleepless night. Our 3-year-old daughter had been waking up at all hours of the night, refusing to go back to sleep, and would not stay in her bed. We were at wits end and were willing to try anything.

The Sleep Buddy arrived wrapped and my daughter and I opened it. We read the book, went over the Reward Chart, promised Chuck-e-Cheese as an incentive, etc. I plugged it in, set it up, and we gave it a try. For the first few nights, it took a lot of reinforcement and we wondered if we simply purchased a $45 night light on a timer . . . but eventually it worked! She stayed in her bed and slept the night! We could always point to that blue shining dome and reinforce that she should stay in her bed. We could refer to the boy from the book and how he stayed in his bed.

It wasn't until last week that she wet the bed. We had her potty trained since she was 2 and a half and she has access to a toilet at night. She had been using the toilet at night without a problem up until last week. When I asked her why she didn't get up and go, she pointed to the Sleep Buddy and said, "The Sleep Buddy was on!" And she was right. The storybook that comes with the Sleep Buddy depicts an older boy receiving the Sleep Buddy from his mother and staying in his bed when the light is blue. There is no page that says it's OK to get up and use the potty if you have to go. It needs to be added, especially since this is marketed for kids up to 6 years of age.

Overall, I am happy with the Sleep Buddy. I would have paid anything to get my daughter to sleep through the night, so the $45 shipped cost, while high, was worth it to me. I've also added pages to the book myself that says it's OK to use the potty at night. A girl version of the story would make it that much better!

I love this sleep buddy, much better quality than the stop light. We set it up differently than the instructions, so that the light comes on in the morning instead of being on all night. My daughter doesn't sleep with a night light so that made more sense. She now wakes up saying the light is on come get me please and the sticker chart works like a charm. She is trying so hard to get her present for making it a whole month without yelling for us before the light comes on. It has changed our life. Thank you sleep buddy.

Even the picture on the box that the toy came in looks like a nice soft plush toy. Not the same toy in the box. The toy is probably worth less than $10. Bottom line, if the kids are big fans of the show they'll like it, but it's low quality for the $.

update: we have had this toy for more than a year now and it has held up well. I still say the fabric does not look like the picture, but I can't complain about the durability.

Pato has fun music with drums that last longer than other characters (Pocoyo and Ellie). My daughter of two years likes the serie and really loves this toy, I also enjoy listening the drums and I'm satisfied with the purchase, highly recommended.

DO NOT GIVE THIS UNSAFE TOY TO YOUR CHILD. While getting my daughter ready for bed, I discovered that her tongue black. I tried to clean it, but it would not come off at all I asked grandma if she ate any prunes for the day? No (not that the organic food I feed her should have any dye). Grandma said that all day she played and chewed on this new elephant she got. I decided to examine the elephant and was shocked and enraged to see that when i wiped the flag on the top of the elephants nose, yellow and red dye easily got onto the washcloth. This manufacter will be hearing from me and I will ensure that this toy doesnt get into the hands or mouth of any other babies!

I really like this toy, but it is a little big for what I had wanted it for. I wanted to be able to take it in the stroller and car, but like I said it is larger then most stroller toys. over all it will be great for her to use in the home.

I have a daycare in my home and the children absolutely love these buckle animals.

I originally bought the 18" buckle bear in April 2012 but the kids would fight over it so i bought 3 more in May 2012, the 18" buckle dog, the 12" buckle bunny and the 12" buckle lion. The kids still play with them everyday and I wash them at least 2 times a week. They have held up beautifully and are VERY durable. It is fantastic for the kids fine motor skills and though they can't unbuckle them yet, they are really good at buckling them. the oldest child I have at the daycare is 23 months and they have been unbuckling them since they were about 16 to 18 months old.

I would highly recommend these buckle animals to anyone!!!

I have a 18 month old who has been playing with every buckle on every seat she gets into for the past 3 months, so I figured this would be a great toy. She loves trying to match the buckles to each other and claps every time she gets it correct. She cannot unbuckle them yet, so she drags the toy around the house to find someone to do it for her and gets started rebuckling. I think this is a great toy for her age range and it's soft enough so she can lug it around with her around the house.

Boikido Pull Toy

Leona arrived a little bit different from the picture. Her head is bigger and flatter.

She is nonetheless very cute. My 5mo daughter loves her. She smiles and coos at her, probably at the doll's crooked smile or the different shades of red in the dress. Leona is soft and younger babies can grab at her dress or hair. Best of all is that she is machine washable!

I was looking for a first doll for my baby and this is perfect! Small, quiet, interesting textures and colors and washable! We love it! It has held up though several washes now and still looks almost new. I will be buying a second since this will be the doll that goes to bed with her every night.

Nice soft chime and great for our 4 month old to grab and wrestle with. Nice amount of sounds without being too loud in baby's ear and plenty of surfaces to chew and feel.

It's cute and all, but, sadly it doesn't make enough sound to capture my baby's attention..

You have to rattle it to make it chime loud.. Rolling it around just doesn't do it..

This is a simple toy, it only makes a tinkling bell noise and the ears crinkle. I get tired of all of the noise from some of the toys and in truth I don't think my son needs everything to make elaborate noises. My baby enjoys playing with it and chewing on the ears and feet. It also rolls well, like a ball. It isn't his favorite toy but he enjoys it.

It is the cutest thing! My daughter loves it and it is easy for her to handle. She isn't crawling yet but when it rolls away, my daughter wants to go get it. Looks like it will be a great crawling toy.

There is certainly room for improvement with this doll. My daughter will be 2 in two months so she's not entirely interested in the doll for long periods of time yet. However, I think there should be more clothing options for this doll. All of the dolls come with an outfit but with only two choices for purchasing clothing separately that I have seen. Which is a shame because there are so many dolls by this brand that have really cute clothes. I'm not about to buy the other dolls simply for the outfits, which I'm sure that is what the manufacturer would like me to do, which is really the only down fall to this brand. So this is really my only gripe with the doll, well that and that terrible plastic smell but I think all dolls have that smell, does it ever go away???

I never even knew this doll had existed until I purchased the shopping cart by this brand. I wanted to see what types of dolls they had and after putting the name "Little Mommy" in the Google search engine this was the first doll that popped up; which funnily enough was my daughters Halloween costume this year and I had to get my daughter this matching doll. I may just tuck away the doll and her costume for when she has kids of her own and pick out a different doll for her to have that has more accessories and choices, I'm not sure yet.
