Ghostbusters Costume, Toddler Romper Costume

Ghostbusters Costume, Toddler Romper CostumeI bought the infant, 6-12 month, size of this costume and it is MUCH too large. My 2-year-old nephew (who is big for his age) can barely wear it. It's cute, so we'll be putting it away for future use.

The backpack isnt included..its the material of the costume itself. Also the hat isnt for a child...was bigger than my head or my husbands. Worst costume I have ever purchased.

First, the hat or cap... was SUPER funky! The 'bowl' part of the cap is small and shallow, kind of like a very small yamaka with no grip. It's all made out of felt, the WHOLE outfit. The bill of the cap was pretty much bigger than the bowl part and it would not fit ANY head, really. We tried and tried to alter it but finally decided to just chunk it. Wasted money and materials.

The entire outfit is one piece. Nothing detaches. So the 'backpack' is actually just a giant pocket in the back. All images are cheaply printed on (not that I expected different, just FYI). The foot portion of the outfit basically drapes over the little one's shoes and has an elastic band to secure under their feet. We had to alter both outfits. We ordered size 6-12 and Toddler size (but they sent us 2 of the Toddler sizes and gave me a hard time, asking me in what way was my order wrong. It was too close to Halloween to return so they won). The body of the outfits were too short for our kids. The outfit secures with ONE piece of velcro, with it being too short there was no way that opening would stay shut with just one piece of velcro. The outfit must be put on through a little area in the crotch, from the start of one boot over to the other. It looks like enough room, but if you have a squirmy baby... it's a challenge.

We bought these because they were super original. We didn't see ANY other Ghostbusters out there :) That was our goal. So kudos there.

The title says "toddler", it says that it fits sizes 2-4, but it's an infant costume! I tried to shove my barely-two-year-old into it, but it just wouldn't work. It would have fit her for Halloween LAST year! Oh, well... she ended up being a really cute robot. Also, as stated above, the hat is ridiculously large.

Cute and warm felt one piece suit, keeping baby happy and fun. Nice hat. Outfit was a little big for this 16 month old.

Skip Hop Stroller Bar Activity Toy, Alphabet Zoo

Skip Hop Stroller Bar Activity Toy, Alphabet ZooFits perfectly on the stroller bar for the Uppababy Vista and provides plenty of entertainment for my little guy. The center toy is detachable, so it can be handled and brought to mouth as they get older and want to manipulate the toys more. The other two are attached, so they dont get lost. The ear makes that great crinkly sound that babies seem to love so much and encourages a lot of tactile manipulation. The mirror is a great addition as well as babies never seem to tire from looking at themselves ;) A great toy bar without all the blinking lights or obnoxious music. Just simple play and a gorgeous design. And it matches beautifully with other Skip Hop items as well.

BeginAgain Earthworms - Green

BeginAgain Earthworms - GreenI asked for the BeginAgain Earthworms grab and twist toy for my son since he likes wood toys. This is a pretty durable toy, the earthworm segments move very nice and smoothly even after being played with pretty hard by my little guy. And it's cute! It's eco friendly; made from rubberwood. My son had a lot more fun playing catch with it than just twisting the segments; but that's what imaginations are for, right? We'll get lots of use out of this toy, from this generation to the next. Thumbs up from me!

Spinning Cogs and Gears

Spinning Cogs and GearsBought this for my 21 month old son for christmas. He loves it. The only thing I would change about this toy is that it has motion, lights and music, or lights and music; but its a gear toy. Why does it have a music only choice? It should have a motion, no music choice instead.

It is a hit though and I would recomend it to others.

Woodours Daddy and Baby Bear Interactive Playset

Woodours Daddy and Baby Bear Interactive PlaysetMy little one is now 15 months old and loves her Woodours Papa bear and baby bear. As a native French speaker, I wanted my daughter to have a toy that reminded me of so many of my childhood toys from Europe. This toy fits the bill. She loves the flower and the fact that she can flip it to different sides to get a different look. The fishing pole is adorable and she often pulls it out and plays with the small swinging felt fish. The retracting fish in the green sack is always a surprise for her as it slithers back into the sack and she smiles as it moves and disappears. She spends lots of time shaking the baby bear and listening to it rattle and the squeaky papa bear nose, though hard for her to squeak, makes both my daughter and dog smile (and wag their tail). As others have said, this is a well made toy with lots of fun options. Many times I find the baby bear being hugged and wrapped around my daughters arm by her. She was given this from her papa for her 1st birthday and though I know that younger kids can play with it, it wasn't until she was about 13 to 14 months old that she actually was drawn to the bear and could play with all of the parts and pieces. She seems to enjoy hugging this bear and playing it with more then most of her other toys at this stage. Maybe it's because she relates to the papa/baby combo like she and her papa have, or maybe she just loves all of the cute textures, colors and options. I would recommend this as a long term investment and a toy that won't fall apart and will be cherished for years to come!

I was pleased with the quality of the bears. They clean up well and are a great option for a little boy. He enjoys the vibrating fish. The fishing pole and flower are easily lost, so just make sure to keep an eye on them if taking the bear out of the house.

Buy Woodours Daddy and Baby Bear Interactive Playset Now

My husband and I bought this bear for our son's first Christmas. It's now been a few months since we got it, so here are some of my impressions.

First of all, this is not a daddy bear. Oh, I know, it looks like a daddy bear. I thought it was a daddy bear. We wanted it to be a daddy bear. But on Christmas morning, when my four-year-old and two-year-old watched their baby brother open his present, they immediately said, "Aw, it's a mommy bear!" I tried to persuade them otherwise, but I was wrong. Know why? Because the tummy opens. And the baby bear fits inside. There is no picture showing that on the site here and so I totally didn't think of the correlation when I initially looked at it. But yeah. Kids know that daddies can't have babies in their abdomens. Only mommies do that. That makes this bear a mommy bear.

Second, if you're looking for a cuddly, tuck-under-the-arm-and-take-everywhere bear, this isn't it. In retrospect, I sort of wish we'd gotten just a plain old plush bear. Yes, this is super cute and well-made, and there are no choking hazards (like the noses on some bears). The fur is a neat sort of wooly texture. BUT it's not soft and plushy like the kinds of bears that kids usually gravitate toward actually cuddling with. Meaning, the fur isn't soft, but the body isn't really squishy either. It's also kind of awkward to hold, because the bear's bottom is so disproportionately big. More on that next.

Third, you know how the grown-up bear is sitting in the picture? As if it can sit up by itself? Well, it can't do that. Picture this scenario. You are on the floor with your baby, and you want him to like his new Christmas present. He spies the bear leaning against the couch and smiles. So you walk it slowly over, bobbing the head coyly. Baby loves it. Then you think you will set the bear down in front of the baby... only, you can't. The bear can't sit. You can hold him up so he is standing, or you can lay him down... awkwardly, because of the big bum issue... but he can't sit, because he's just not built that way. If you try to sit him by himself, he will just flop over. So you kind of hold him up and the baby plays with him until your arm gets tired and you have to lay the bear down awkwardly... which causes the baby to lose interest, because the bear just looks so awkward laying down like that.

Fourth... and these are not the most important points, but I'm going to mention them anyway... I think I'm just not that into the extra features after all. The fishing pole and flower stick in to the paws, and that is rather neat, but they don't really hold anyone's attention for long. None of us... my preschool aged kids included... are very interested in the opening belly feature. The baby bear fits in there, but it's tight. I guess I just think that the "toy" aspect of this bear is not really all that enticing. The baby bear does hold onto things, but not onto very big things, and this point our son just doesn't think much of it. He does like the big grown-up bear (you can pretend it's a daddy bear if you'd like, but my kids know better) but can't pick it up.

Fifth, is your little one going to sleep with this bear? If so, you'll need to take off/out all the extra things (including the baby bear) because they all crinkle, and the baby bear rattles. And there is nothing like a crinkly sound that accidentally wakes up baby during naptime to make everybody sad! I had thought to just let the baby bear stay in bed with my little one, but the rattle makes that impossible. I have left the big bear near him during naptime a few times, though, and he has been very gleeful to find it near him, so it may be that he will enjoy snuggling with it more as he grows.

Overall, you'll notice that I still gave this four stars, because I do think it's an adorable bear and very well-made, and my son likes it, even if he's not quite sure what to do with it. I think in retrospect, we likely would have just gotten a simple, nicely made, no-choking-hazards plush bear, because what we really wanted was a safe, soft bear that would be a buddy to sleep with kind of bear, not so much an activity center. And I think trying to achieve both made us succeed in achieving neither. Granted, our son is only eleven months old now, so he may play with it more later on, but I wanted to leave my current perspective here for other parents who may be considering getting this for a baby. It's definitely a cute bear, and it's great that it is so safe, but you may want to consider whether you really want a bear with the extra features like this or if you just want a traditional, soft, plush, snuggly teddy bear without the bells and whistles (or in this case, the crinkly sounds and unique fabrics).

I absolutely love this toy! my now 3-months-old daughter is too little to play with it (the daddy bear is almost as tall as she is) but a friend's baby aged six months really liked it when they came to visit. even if it never becomes one of her favourite toys (which I doubt) it will make a great nursery decoration. very very well made, everything as shown in the video description. the only cons not a good toy for teething/sticking-everything-in-the-mouth period, just like any other fluffy toy. but otherwise worth the money.

I purchased this Daddy and Baby Bear for my husband as a gift before our baby comes. He thought it was one of the greatest things ever. The little activities are perfect. Yes, the baby bear can sit inside the stomach, BUT he can also wrap around neck with velcro hands or sit alone. The fishing pole and knapsack are SO cute! This is the perfect little set and paired with the book, a perfect gift. I also love the Daddy Bear's tummy pattern my husband works in the forestry industry and the log pattern was a perfect compliment.

I got this for my daughter because I thought it would be a good teething toy. I love that it is organic cotton (and even stuffed with organic cotton) I don't have to worry about any chemicals from my daughter chewing on it. I love Under the Nile products and I like that they are fair trade. So far the strawberry is a little big for her to put in her mouth but she will chew on the strawberry leaves. My daughter also has one of the Under the Nile scrappy cats and the arms are easier for her to chew on then this toy.

LeapFrog Poppin' Play Piano

LeapFrog Poppin' Play PianoMy 1 year old and 3 year old LOVE this toy. It's got 4 different song/music settings, so I'm not stuck listening to the same thing over and over! It also has 2 different volume settings, which is great! The keys are easy to push, but the balls don't jump as much as I thought they would, and that does frustrate my 1 year old a little bit. It's easy to carry and even when dropped (multiple times!) works great! Overall, it's a good toy and my kids really enjoy it!

My 19 month old child has not stopped playing with this toy since we received it from Amazon (Vine). He has a few other LeapFrog items, but he has never taken to one like he has this. He really enjoys music, and has been learning his colors, so this seemed like an easy choice.

There are 4 basic modes:

Number: Press a key, number "sung" (1-8, in the tone of a scale)

Color: The color of the key "sung"

Free Play: Each key becomes a different instrument

Song: The piano plays a song; kids can choose to accompany by pressing other keys

What my child loves: watching the balls go up. He likes the songs and has had a lot of fun just playing random keys. The switch to move from counting to colors to free play is easy for him to manipulate.

What I like: the tonality is pretty good for a kids' toy. And because it follows the scale, you can play some actual songs on it. I also like that it doesn't have anything to break off or keep stored with it, as many of the child xylophones do.

However, I find it a little loud. It comes with a volume switch, but even the "low" setting is loud. I also wish that it counted higher than 8 (he can already count to 8).That limits its educational value. It does start to get annoying when they push the same button over and over, especially in counting mode. "Eeeeiiiight! Eeeeiiiight! Eeeeeeight! Eeeeeeight! Eeeeeeight!" etc.

Remember the 90's Sampsonite commercial where they have a gorilla in a room with a suitcase? That's like my kid with toys. If he can break it, he will. He's already dropped it down the stairs once and so far it's holding up well, which has been true of all the LeapFrog toys we've used.

When my wife & I talk about toys, we come from the perspective of educators. That said, for early childhood development, nothing beats "old fashioned" toys.

Hands down, in every documented study, plain old wood blocks provide more stimulation, more fine motor skill development, more problem-solving, etc. Also keep in mind, electronic toys like this encourage kids to play alone they tend to work against socialization skills. Every child (as early as 6 months), should have wood blocks, flash cards, mega blocks or legos, lincoln logs, things like that. And, lots of board books around.

However, often times people want to buy "exciting" electronic toys for holidays and birthdays toys that talk, sing, light up, etc. No matter how educational they claim to be, toys like this "do the work" for your child, and are not as challenging. But it's obviously not going to kill your child to have a few of these around!

So if you're looking for electronic toys, we strongly recommend Leapfrog products. We've tested many, many toys and we own 3 different Leapfrog toys (including a Phonics Dinosaur toy that has been dropped, thrown, rolled down the stairs, and still looks and plays like new!).

I find the Leapfrog products are intuitive, durable, more educational than any other electronic toys (like Fisher Price, etc), and well thought out.

This Poppin Piano is exactly what I expected it to be. Many functions to keep your child engaged. Counting & color games. A regular piano mode (*every* child needs a piano of some sort, to learn music & also fine motor skills).

And like all other Leapfrog products, it's not too noisy, it's a smart power saver so it doesn't drain the batteries, and the noises & singing are nice and soft (not loud & shrill like many other electronic toys).

Leapfrog recommends this for 12-36 months. But our 7 month old is actually using it the "poppin" balls are fun to watch, and it's a great opportunity to learn cause & effect.

So if you're a parent, these kinds of toys are great for car rides, for short-attention-span moments, a kitchen activity (while you're busy cooking), etc. We don't recommend it as an "everyday" toy. We keep electronic toys locked up, and pull them out only occasionally. However, for the category of electronic toys, Leapfrog always gets best in class.

(PS If you're interested in more information about these studies, or about early childhood development, the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is free online to read back issues.)

My youngest child as of 2012 is 2. When I received this toy, I thought he would enjoy it at least. He played with it for about 10 to 15 minutes and was done. The toy is very basic. It is a small keyboard with the various colors. The color of the keys are matched with a small ball that goes up when the key is pressed. The toy has four different settings for colors, numbers, and two settings for music. My child does need to learn his colors better which is why I got the toy in the first place.

Overall, this toy perhaps would be better for an even younger child than 2. My little boy didn't play with the toy long and now the toy sits on top of the other toys in his toy room.

Infantino Baby Magician

Infantino Baby MagicianMy daughter received this as an infant. The rabbit was always in her crib and she hasn't been without it since she could grasp it (she is now 4 1/2 yrs old). The other pieces are long gone, but she still can't go anywhere without her Rabbit. She loves it. As far as gifts go, I would absolutely say it is a unique and super cute idea.

We purchased this for our baby as it was on a list of toys as top picks. It's cute, and she likes it fine, but honestly, at the end of the day it's really just a plush toy with some accessories. My dogs are especially fond of the accessories (the little fish and the cards), and I'm sure we won't be able to keep all the pieces together. Sure wish I bought it while it was in stock at Wal-Mart though as it was literally a third less there when they had it. Serves me right for delaying that Christmas purchase until the end of November.... I'm not sure why this got such a thumbs-up in the original article I read on best baby toys, but we were VERY happy with the other toys we chose from that list-the Manhattan Toy Big Top Sounds, and the Latitude Enfant Cat Stacker. This is a solid "fine", and it's cute enough, but Latitude Enfant's Magician toy looks cuter to me, plus I really like their quality. The wand on this makes a cool noise that my daughter likes. I guess the bottom line is you never know what will evoke a response out of your own baby until you try the item in question.

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby's First Blocks

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby's First BlocksAs my 14 month daughter works on getting the right shape in the right hole. It's true that sometimes she just gets frustrated and picks up the lid and throws the shapes in the bucket instead of sorting them, but when I play with her talk to her and ask her where each shape goes she really focuses and we get them together. She looks so proud of herself when she gets them right, too! But even when she is playing by herself and taking the lid off, it's still a very fun toy for her to put them all in, take them out, and do it all over again!

This is a basic, durable, inexpensive toy. However what I don't care for is the fact that the lid doesn't snap on. I'm sure this is that way so babies can take it off, but I prefer the sorter that the child has to put the shapes through the holes. My baby figured out that it was easier to take the lid off! I like the Smartronics cookie jar sorter much better.

My son received this toy as a gift for his 6-month birthday. At the time, I remember hearing about how some plastic toys (often made in China) contain harmful chemicals that are known to cause cancer and feeling concerned that this toy might be one of them. I didn't do anything for awhile, seeing how my son enjoyed playing with the toy and thinking (stupidly) that if this toy were truly harmful, it wouldn't be sold in the U.S.

One day, I came across this toy on Amazon and noticed the warning to CA residents under "Product Details." I couldn't believe it when I read this toy is made with harmful chemicals known to "cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." I bet a lot of people who are giving this toy 5 stars are not aware of the warning.

UPDATE TO REVIEW ON 10-28-09: Amazon has removed the warning about the harmful chemicals, and in response to an inquiry I sent them told me "Product information from the item detail is added or deleted upon manufacturers information." Amazon suggested I contacted FP, which I did, and the FP rep said he couldn't find anything in their records indicating the toy's manufacturing had been changed. The toy's production has not been altered since 2007. He suggested that perhaps the warning wasn't accurate, and that's why it was removed. That may be, but it seems like a pretty big mistake for Amazon to make on multiple FP toys. I see now that none of the FP toys that previously had this warning have it now.

As for my son's reaction to the toy, he liked to bang the pieces together and put them in his mouth, but he never bothered to try to sort the shapes since the top doesn't stay in place, as others have mentioned. My son always removed the top and took out all of the pieces, no matter how many times I showed him how to sort the shapes with the top in place. Talk about poor design! I should have given it 1 star for the "educational" rating in hindsight, but I figured that theoretically it could be of some value if a child didn't remove the top. Also, Amazon wouldn't let me go back and change my ratings.

I just got another shape sorter for him from Amazon (the Tolo Rolling Shape Sorter), and within minutes he tried to put the shapes in the slots because he couldn't remove either the top or the bottom of the unit. Now that's an educational toy!

With all the recent news about lead, BPA and other harmful chemicals being found in many children's toys, I've been investigating any toy my child has been given. Someone gave my 7 month old this as a gift. It doesn't say "BPA Free" or anything on the box, so I decided to call the company.

Fisher Price has only issued this statement (here's my paraphrase): that BPA is a known carcinogen, and that it is dangerous when food products come in contact with it. Since Fisher Price does not sell any "food storage" items like bottles or nipples, it is not as much of an issue. They do not put BPA in their high chairs, but do use it in their toys.

So, I'm not going to let my son use it....as EVERYTHING ends up in his mouth :)

One good thing I can say about Fisher Price is that it was easy to get ahold of a customer service rep. If this concerns you at all, give them a call, too! The more people who call and say it's important, the more likely they are to change their practices and produce safer toys for our children.

I am surprised at how many people complain about how easily the lid removes. My daughter received this toy at 6 months old. It SHOULD go without saying, but at six months old they are not looking for specific shapes as much as basic concepts. She would bang the blocks together, bang the bucket parts together, and dump the shapes out and put them back in, over and over. Then a couple months later, she started trying to put the lid on; because of the ease it encouraged her and she would get so proud of herself. By the time she was a year old she would set the lid on the ground and match the shapes up on the carpet. Then she would clean up her mess and put the lid on. Now at 14 months, she is able to use the toy for what it is intended. The colors of the toy are vibrant, which is a wonderful thing for a child's development in the early years. My daughter loves this toy and she is extremely advanced for her age. Baby's don't just magically learn their shapes because you gave them a toy. A six month old need to be taught, and there are a lot of lessons that come before putting small shapes in a hole.

Under The Nile Mouse Toy

Under The Nile Mouse ToyI like that this toy is soft, organic, and cute, but I think it is a bit boring for babies. My infant son is just not interested in playing with it at all. He routinely goes for the more colorful stuffed animals and toys, so this mouse just sits on the shelf. A disappointing purchase (though I think it is adorable).

I ordered this mouse thinking it would be a good size stuffed animal. To my surprise its VERY small! Its only about 5 inches tall. It is very cute though.

B. Zany Zoo

B. Zany ZooGreat toy. Helps with coordination, counting, alphabet, etc. Bought this for my 1yr old and she still loves it at 2. Very entertaining when I reintroduce it to her as new. I got mine from target and it cost under $50. They are overcharging here on Amazon!!! My little one never got her hand stuck in this. (Hopefully she never will.)

Our 8-month-old son outgrew his favorite toy (the Fisher-Price Jumperoo) about a month ago. His increased mobility meant the Jumperoo felt more constricting than freeing, and we'd been having trouble finding a new toy to fill the void left in the Jumperoo's disuse. We stumbled across this on accident and bought it because it reminded us of several toys we'd loved in childhood, with the added bonus they were all rolled into one.

We cannot stress how much our son loves this toy. Each face has something different for him to explore. When he's finished with one side for the time being, he'll move around to other sides or the top to keep the amusement coming. Even as I type, he's busy banging closed the doors on one side of the cube.

The top is easily the best part for both us and our son. David's had a fabulous time using it not only to stand but to figure out, finally, how to fall into a sit. The day before yesterday, he literally giggled the whole time he practiced sitting for an hour. More practice yesterday and he's both a falling and a sitting pro. Note, as another reviewer mentioned, you DO have to sit close by, because the wrong lean *can* lead it to tip for a not-yet-autonomous stander. This happens in maybe a quarter probably a high estimate of our son's stands so far.

Then there's all the fun in pushing the top toys along their preset paths along the top. The bridges encourages him to figure out movement under and on both sides of each bridge. This is in addition to watching him explore both pushing animals (and beads!) along their path and figuring out how to rotate them in circles where they stand.

We're amazed how much fun and challenge can be fit into one single cube. This is beautifully designed, aesthetically pleasing, free from sharp corners and overall an amazing toy. We're honestly trying to think who else we can buy one of these for! The temptation is rather strong to just play with it ourselves.

If only we'd had this as children! :)

Parental supervision required AT ALL TIMES! It appears that there are different configurations of this toy. I got the version which has a side with nine triangular rotating blocks (three animals on each vertical set while the horizontal blocks have different the animal's head, body, and feet). The first time my 1 y.o son played with it, he got his hands stuck in between these blocks. B zany really should make the blocks larger or add bars to block these gaps. Other than that I think this toy is very educational and great for developing fine motor skills, parents please watch your children with this toy!

My 10 mo daughter LOVES this toy cube. She's not the most easily entertained baby (she'll never make it into a YouTube video squealing with delight over ripped paper or a sneeze, for example), but this thing made her giggle and jump up and down from the moment it hit the floor (in the box, no less). Her favorite thing to do (since she was 2 or 3 months old) is to stand and this toy is perfect for her to stand and play at the same time. She's just starting to stand unassisted and I really think this will help her gain confidence.

She loves the beads on top (and the little animals), but her favorite thing to do is to open and close the doors on one of the sides of the toy. She loves the toy and I love watching her love it!

I'm not a huge fan of the earthy colors, but it is still a very attractive toy. Ours seems very well constructed and I expect it to last for years and years -long enough for us to store it away to give to our daughter for her kids, I bet. I don't doubt some folks have had some quality issues, but the one we have looks about as good as I could hope for a toy to look.

One of my favorite features of this thing is the rounded corners on the top of the cube as well as on the doors. No toy is perfectly safe, but this one looks like it is designed with some care and attention to detail.

We got this toy for my daughter when she turned 9 months. She started walking at the same time so we were having a hard time with all other toys that she could take with her. she tends to trip easily because she is tiny and with a toy in her hands she is not paying much attention to her balance. This toy is heavy, so she can't take it... but she walks around it discovering all its parts. I can't tell what part she likes the most because she just plays with everything.... My favorite part is she can play and there is no clean up!!!! Everything else requires cleaning up: tea set, balls, geometric shapes, puzzles, fake food..etc. I love IT! I bought it at a store and not online... the price was a much better.

Child's Angel Costume Kit, Toddler, 12 to 24 MonthsLove that it was a complete costume for less than the price for an incomplete costume at the costume store. My 4 year old loved it!

Fit like a charm and required no modifications for child to wear. For the price and the speed it was a great costume in a clutch.

Hape Little Plane

Hape Little PlanePerfect size for toddlers and very well made. Has survived many falls off our coffee table! Still not sure what the point of the moving wings is supposed to be, but my son loves playing with it.

this toy is even cuter in person and the wings can flap up and down. Well made my son has enjoyed it.

Very happy with the toy. With the large wooden wheels, the plane rolls smoothly accross the floor, even on carpet. Received as expected.

Little Tikes Shopping Cart

Little Tikes Shopping CartThis cart is easy to put together. My daughter races around the house with it and it bounces off walls with minimal damage to the cart or the wall. When boys come over they always choose the cart over the pink stollers we have. My daughter loves putting her doll in the front...just like mommy does with her.

Ty Beanie Babies - Peace the Ty-Dyed Teddy Bear

Ty Beanie Babies - Peace the Ty-Dyed Teddy BearI Love peace bear, I have about 20 or more. I have alot of beanies, but I like peace the best, everyone is different. always happy.

It has a variety of colors on the body as you see, but somehow it is complementary to the peace mark. It seems the color represents all diversities we have in the world. I was particularly looking for Beanie Babies with a peace mark, so I was happy when I found it.

Maison Chic Blankie

Maison Chic Blankie, Girl OwlThis product was smaller than I anticipated. However I did not read the measurements prepurchase. The head is about the size of a half dollar. It is large enough to be safe and is not a choking hazard. I love the colors, paterns, and textures.

My only reason for 4 stars is I wish it were bigger! It was a little deceiving calling it a blanket. It's more like a lovie but I was hoping it to be a bit larger. Other then that it's super cute and fingers crossed my 1 year old will enjoy it as much as I do!

Baby Einstein Baby Neptune Ocean Orchestra Musical Toy

Baby Einstein Baby Neptune Ocean Orchestra Musical ToyThis is a great, engaging toy for a little one. Our daughter loves pressing the red button to make the songs play over and over and over again! As a previous reviewer said, she'll press a button, run away, then come back and press it again as soon as a song ends. The melodies are upbeat and fun for a child. The bright flashing colors hold her attention. This is something we will use for a long time as it does allow for more complex play.

This turtle has been on my daughter's top ten toy list since birth. When she was first born, she loved to look at the lights. Later, she began to appreciate the music. Now, at age 1, she likes to 'compose,' hitting the music tiles and making them light up and play. She also likes to multi-task with this toy she makes it play a tune and then plays with some other toy. But the second the tune is over, she hits the tiles again to get her music playing.

My baby was fighting tummy time because she was getting bored. My mother in law bought this little wonder and now she loves tummy time. The colors and music keep her entertained. She even coos to the toy. The only downfall is the song play is not very long so you have to constantly push one of the buttons. On a seperate note keep this toy picked up dang it hurts when you stub your toe. This toy is sturdy.

I don't generally leave product reviews, but I had to comment on this wonderful little guy! The turtle is fairly large, made of hard plastic, seems durable although we just got it a couple of days ago so we'll see. It plays a wide variety of classical songs, all are relatively long compared to other toys we have. The songs are pleasant to listen to, and my 5 month old digs it! He likes the flashing lights and the music, and if he accidentally pushes it out of reach he's hollering at me right away because he wants more. The buttons are really easy to push, so even a tiny baby can work them easily. Even my 3 year old likes the turtle, and she'll dance around the living room doing her "ballet" while my son orchestrates. This is a toy for active playit's very stimulating and not meant to be a crib/bedtime item. It looks like something my kids can enjoy for a long time, so it's a great value for the money. Mostly, though, it gets kudos for not driving mom up the wall.

Bought this toy for my daughter (11 months old) and she immediately loved it. The music is great and the colors really got her attention. She loves it in composer mode where she can push the instruments one by one until they all start making music. Would definately recommend.
