So-Soft Baby Dolls - Set of 8

They had these dolls at my daughter's day care when she was an infant. All the kids loved them! They are the perfect size, soft, light and easy for young ones to drag around and manipulate. Plus they are washable to help prevent the spread of germs. My daughter's care giver gave her one of these dolls when she "graduated" and it has been a great friend to her. It has also survived MANY washings (well over 100) and a lot of love and still looks almost new! Obviously, I can't say enough. I think these dolls are great!

My 9 month old baby loves this. She has enjoyed the Kringelring for awhile and I was going to order her some more Haba toys, and then we happened to find a shelf of them in a baby store and this is the one she picked out--I was going to get her the pipapo and a couple of others but she found this one way more interesting. I got this toy for my baby when he was 6 months old. He is now 11 months and still loves it. At first he just held on to it and looked at it. Now he waives it around, moves it from hand to hand, pulls on it, shakes it, and drags it around with him everywhere. It also doubles as a teether and he loves to chew on the cars and has learned to manipulate it to reach the back teeth to relieve some teething pain there.

The toy is adorable and is possible to easily attach to his carseat or stroller with a toy holder so that it won't get lost. It is great quality and so far withstood months of constant play and teething action. It is also safe as it is painted with non-toxic paint and made in Germany (and not in China like most toys out there).

VTech Jungle Gym Twist and Learn Gorilla Pals

I loved the idea of this product because our 1-year old (20 month) son loves to watch his father workout and lift weights. I hoped that getting him a toy that would help him feel included in the workout would keep him occupied (and also out of daddy's way for safety reasons.) He will play with them for a while, but quickly loses interest. The toys are easy enough for him to turn on and off by himself, but frankly (like many toys) the sounds are annoying and even with a volume control switch (off/low/high) he always turns them up full blast. The toy is supposed to say "up," "down," and give directions like that, but it hasn't not proven to be a very useful teaching tool. It might be in our best interest to take the batteries out and just call them weights. I almost wish there was a better "pretend" weights/exercise set that would just be what it is without all the sound effects and such.

I also think that this toy would be better suited for younger toddlers, even though the box says 18+ months.

My son is two and loves playing with weights now that he has his own he enjoys them. Just wish they made noisecwhen he did curls instead of just shaking them

I came across this toy set when I searched for child dumbbells. No, I am not putting my 2-year-old through boot camp. I was looking because she feels left out when my husband and I use our Shake Weight in the morning. I decided to get these even though they are more toys than dumbbells. It's a good thing that I didn't invest too much in these, because my daughter lost interest in them in about 5 minutes and she never picked them up again. Perhaps they're more appropriate for 10-12 month old than for a 20 month old.

Alexander Dolls 12" My First Baby - Love Birdie - Play Alexander Collection

I love Madame Alexander dolls. I've bought them for gifts since the 1970's... I had one when I was a girl. They are soft and cuddly. Just right for young children.

I abosolutely love this doll! It has a soft body, clothes that STAY ON (no dressing and undressing...so no chance to lose the clothes), and an adorable baby face. I would recommend this doll to anyone with little ones, and would definitely buy it again. The only thing that I don't like is the headband comes on and off. With a two year old, it came off and was lost fairly quickly. Other than that, I'm a happy customer!!

Bumkins Dr. Seuss Lunch Box

This is a very cute little child's lunch box but it is very small so check the dimensions prior to purchase. It is nice and deep and has sections that are removable but it fills up really quickly.

I agree with the other reviewers that it is very small. Obviously not for an older child.

However, the lunchbox is great for putting baby food jars in. The compartments fit them perfectly, and you don't have to worry about the jars knocking into each other.

This is obviously meant for a child, but I liked it so I thought I would give it a try. It is an ok size when the interior dividers are removed. I can fit an apple, yogurt and can of soup or sand which. The yellow fish fabric looks a little transparent and cheap in person which is why I didn't give it five stars. It is a good basic lunch bag though and has held up fine.

HABA's blocks are probably the best around in the market since they are bright and colourful, use safe water based dyes thus having no chemical smell, perfectly rounded edges at all sides, big in size to make it safe for smell kids to play with and excellent, smooth finishing on the wooden blocks with no splinters. They may come at a hefty price tag, but judging from the quality of the wooden toys, that price is totally worth it.

Eeny, meeny zoo did not disappoint either, retaining all the great qualities typical of HABA blocks. And they allow kids to explore many possiblilies of creating different animals of different shapes and sizes. All in all, a good buy.

The only thing that spolit my experience of getting this toy: the bad packaging this toy came in when I received it, the sorry state of the box and clear cover seem to indicate that the toy is a used item despite me ordering and paying for a new item. Though this is no fault of the manufacturer. The problem lies with the seller. Just something for consumer to take note of.

my three year old grandson loves building things with these original blocks. they help him use his imagination as they are fun shapes and faces and colors rather than the regular boring blocks. they are light so i am not afraid that his one year old sister will hurt herself or throw them and hurt someone. a bit expensive but adorable.

She received these as a gift when she was a year old and we now combine these blocks with our Melissa and Doug block set along with the Haba Medieval set and she loves it. I decided that it was important for my son to have some quality blocks for Christmas. I am a reasearch-aholic and poured over reviews and suggestions before deciding on these. My son was 9 months at Christmas and these were an instant hit. Really the only thing he was digging from Santa's loot. They are extremely durable (he is 11 months not and loves to "hammer" everything) they serve as a clutch toy for learning to pick up and carry, a great teether, learning to stack, fill and spill (put them in a bucket) and a puzzle to but them back in the box. The colors are great and I have yet to find any mizzing or chipped paint.

I like that this toy is soft, organic, and cute, but I think it is a bit boring for babies. My infant son is just not interested in playing with it at all. He routinely goes for the more colorful stuffed animals and toys, so this mouse just sits on the shelf. A disappointing purchase (though I think it is adorable).

I ordered this mouse thinking it would be a good size stuffed animal. To my surprise its VERY small! Its only about 5 inches tall. It is very cute though.

These toys are small, overall height of perhaps 4", I was under the impression they were larger. Also, the strings that hold them together don't feel very strong, I am afraid one will give and my some will be stuck with a small wood block in his hand. They are cute and brightly colored, but my expectations were higher. Also, company ships UPS, so shipping was 3x more than cost of toys.

I really though my son was going to like this toy since he loves anything with balls, but I have to say that it was poorly made. When my son would drop the balls in to the basket sometimes they would just stay in the basket and not go anywhere, other times they would just roll down the hole with out even tipping it enough to set off the sensor for the light and music. For it to play music my son would have to tip it himself with his hands because the balls are not enough to do it. The music is the same song and saying all the time and just the nose lights up. My son played with balls alone more than he ever played with the actual toys. I would not recommend it.

The manual clearly states: "Drop balls in the basket... for fun sounds, music and lights." This is not what the toy actually does the tipping action has to be activated by the user (in this case, my 7 month-old) and so is not the positive reinforcement toy I had hoped for.

Sure... it still standing, but about the stupidest toy ever. My daughter "loves" it... for about two seconds when she remembers its boring. As other reviews say, it does not work as advertised. You can throw those balls all day long and it will not make noise unless you physically push the net. Also, the tail does take up some room. Not that bad, unless you're dealing with a storage shortage. Don't waste your money or you space!

I purchased this toy on a whim while walking through Wal-Mart a couple weeks after Christmas. It was seriously marked down, I think I paid about $12 for it...it's not worth even that. This toy implies that by throwing the balls into the basket the head/basket area moves side to side, lights up, and sings...WRONG!!!

The three balls are FAR too light to make the head move. You have to manually move it to make the nose light up, and it only plays one song over and over. You can't see in the stock photo they show, but there's a giant plastic tail in the back of this toy that makes storing it extremely akward...it takes up much more space then you may thing. Overall, I say PASS. Spend the money you'd use on this piece of junk, and buy something that does what it says it will do!

There are many toys available for the same price that are much more fun and educational for your baby. I have two young boys and they pretty much ignore this toy. We have a Fisher Price gumball machine that is the same concept that has become their favorite (and every other child who comes to my home) toy. The gumball machine offers the same "place ball here and retreive it here" concept and is much more stimulating with songs and lights. The busy ball popper is also another suggestion that is a favorite toy. Please don't waste your money! Oh and there is a bar that comes out of the rear of the toy that takes up a bunch of space.

We have ton's of toys in this. The key for us was to wipe down the suction cups and shower wall with rubbing alcohol--if you don't do this it will not stay put with a large amount of toys placed in it. Love it, makes a big difference.

This thing worked out OK for us anyways, but the suction cups do not stick very well. It appears to be good quality mesh material, and well stitched, etc. But when you stick the suction cups to the tub and walk away, within a few minutes, they come unstuck, and the bag falls. We have it pretty loaded with toys, so maybe its just too heavy, but isn't that the whole point, to load it up with bath toys...? We ended up hanging it from some other hooks that we have in the shower, so it works well that way.

I got this so we could get rid of our bulky plastic bin that held our bath toys. I have to be honest and say that I didn't expect an awesome product, since it is so inexpensive. I received it early, and opened it right away. It looks small, but holds a LOT of toys. we have it stuffed full, literally overflowing, and the suction cups are holding strong. We simply wiped and dried the area we wanted to apply them, then got the suction cups damp and applied them. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, it keeps the toys off the floor, and the mesh bag helps keep them dry to prevent mold, and the slimy stuff that collects if the toys are in bins like ours used to be.

Thinkfun Roll and Play Board Game

My 19 month old daughter is obsessed with this toy/game combo. She loves to hold and throw the large soft dice but is even more excited by the accompanying cards. She asks to play several times a day. The cards describe and illustrate a variety of activities to speak or act out. Some are perfect for her age and others are a bit more challenging, like identifying colors, but give her something to strive for over time. That will keep it interesting as she gets older. We have fun interacting by making funny faces, or sounding out animal noises together. My daughter has identified some new parts of her anatomy like her belly button and explored emotions like "making an angry face" while playing the game. I'm amazed at how well this game is designed for such a young toddler. I would highly recommend this as a perfect way to interact, laugh, and have fun with your child while teaching all sorts of new things.

My four year old LOVES games but most are too hard for my two year old to enjoy with him. This game is perfect for her (and my four year old likes to play it too though I think his favorite part is throwing the giant soft dice.) It teaches colors, body parts, emotions, counting as well as how to take turns. I love it so much, I've bought several as gifts for 2 year old's birthday parties and their parents loved it as well! I also play it with my two year old Sunday School class and it keeps their attention remarkably well. A great game!! I highly recommend for anyone with a toddler!

I absolutely love that companies -like Think Funcreate games for toddlers and hope that the early education game trend continues. The Communication Manager from Think Fun, Charlotte Fixler, told me Roll & Play was the very first game for ages 18 months and up (wow!), and I have the perfect game tester in my house! Every day my daughter is on a constant quest to absorb new information and concepts. Her favorite thing right now is noticing when things are the `same' or `different'. `Two blues' she will say as she holds up two blue items. `Two red hats' and `same, momma, same' are common short sentences she will repeat daily. She also loves to learn about animals, the sounds that they make and the different body parts of animals and people. Her brain seems like a bottomless pit just waiting for knowledge to be poured in and I am trying my best to keep up. I am happy to report this task has gotten a little easier these days with the help of the game Roll & Play.

Roll & Play is a fantastic educational activity game for toddlers and parents. The game includes one large six-sided multi-color plush cube with a storage pocket, 48 activity cards (there are 6 different activities, so 8 activity cards for each color) and a parent's guide with simple instructions. The six card activities are broken down into the categories of Emotions, Body Parts, Animal Sounds, Counting, Colors and Actions. You simply have your toddler roll the cube and identify the color side up when the cube lands. You then pick out that color from the activity cards and do that activity on the card. Simple! Some examples of the activity cards are `find something that is the color blue', `rub your belly' or `moo like a cow'! My son enjoys the game, but at the age of 2 finds throwing the dice cube the most fun! He has bent a few of the cards already, so I have to regulate them. He finds the emotion cards harder-like make a sad face, happy, etc. and the action cards very easy-like clap your hands, etc. Overall, I would say that it is a good game, we just wish we had it a little sooner, so it would be more challenging. Huggable Ladybug Costume

I just purchased this costume for my 16 month old daughter. The costume arrived quickly and in original packaging. I am pleased with the appearance of the costume and feel that my daughter wil be comfortable in it for Halloween. It is definitely much thinner material than appears in the picture so I will just layer leggings and a long sleeved shirt underneath. The sizing is true to size. Overall I am happy with the costume but definitely wish it was made of a better fabric so I could wash it and save. Not sure this will last through a cycle in the machine.

My baby and I really love this toy. However, baby was very allergic to this toy. This is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars. It's only raw wood and rope but my baby was allergic. I want to because when she first got it handed to her she stayed entertained for 15 minutes. 15 Minutes!! That is gold to any parent. I sprayed it with vinegar (to kill bacteria). Then, washed it with soap and water. Sadly, after she played with it that first time, she had a rash around her mouth. Booo!

So, I wrote to the seller and asked for explicit products, if any, were used (since it it only made of raw wood and rope). They wrote back immediately.

This was the response AND it came with an authorization for a refund:

"This is unfinished european wood specie alder wood. It's locally harvested. No chemicals and no wax used.

Rope is pure cotton, unbleached.

This toy doesn't contain allergens.

For proper handling try to rinse it every use when it's not in use.

You can quickly rinse it with bowling water to kill all dirt and bacteries (like pacifier)."

THIS WORKED! I had no idea this would work but voila! it did! I boiled the water, added the toy. Let it boil for about 2 minutes and then, drained the water, took out the toy and rinsed it off. Let it dry and gave it to her under close supervision. Nothing happened! Whatever allergen was there was boiled out!

Now my baby is as happy as a clam. Sometimes, I wet the toy first then put it in the freezer for her to teethe one. It helps!

I wrote this to help other parents with sensitive children (*as allergies in the USA have risen by 600% in the last 20 years and doctors don't know why). This is a great toy and would love for other parents to enjoy it too.

The seller also offered this invaluable information to highly sensitive babies like mine: "P.S. Some wood species are allegric. For example, birch, maple and walnut has different strenght of allergy.

Birch, maple has moderate allegric reaction. Pine and walnut has low reaction."

Bought this set of teething keys for my 7 month old to replace the plastic ones he had. I was nervous to buy them because there was only one other review, but I'm so glad I took the chance. I ordered these "keys" along with several other teethers for my 8 month old, hoping that something would finally ease his frustration with all the ones he had tried either being too hard or too soft, or unable to get them to the right spot in his mouth. Out of everything I purchased, he loves these the best! They are firm enough to help his teeth cut, but soft enough and have some give so he's not hurting the teeth he already has. The wood also has a smooth texture, but isn't too slippery when wet so he can actually hold it without it sliding out of his hands or out of his mouth. This is an awesome product. It has kept my little one entertained whenever we are in her stroller. I love the snack compartment. It's easy for her to open and grab her snacks all by herself. She loves to press the leaves to listen to the music. The only negative thing that I could say about it is that the volume is very loud. There should be some control over the volume but there isn't. Sometimes if we are indoors somewhere it is too loud. I am still very satisfied with it and would recommend it to a friend.

It has straps with velcro so it can attach to almost any stroller, except an umbrella stroller and it has sounds that you can turn off if you want. My daughter was only 4 months old when I put it on her stroller and she liked to look at the bright colors and now she is 10 months old she knows how to push the buttons and grab the butterfly on the top. I believe she'll continue to enjoy playing with for another year or so.

Bought this for my grandson. I had gotten him another Sassy stroller/car seat activity toy and he loved it. I got this thinking it would be similar. It is very large/bulky/hard to attach and keep upright. It keeps leaning over. It really doesn't do much either. I would not recommend it for anything.

This is a very cute toy. However, the music is loud and no way to turn down. Also doesn't strap on stroller and stay in upright positiion (falls over).
