This is the second HABA bath book that we own (we also have the frog book). My 11 month old daughter loves opening the HABA books and she spends more time looking at the pictures in these books than her non-bath books (because she's a little calmer and less mobile in the bath tub). It is true that the HABA books don't have words, but at this age we just name the pictures and talk about what the mermaid or the frog are doing. Books without words are great for expanding your child's imagination (you can make up a different story every night)!

Toy Story 16" Jessie Plush Doll

This doll is NOT as pictured. The doll I recieved has a plush face, not a plastic face, and a different hat. I'm wondering if they changed the entire doll? It is not what I ordered, and am not happy as the price tag on the doll is much cheaper than what I paid.

I added pictures to show what I actually got AND the price tag that was included with the dollmuch cheaper than what I paid on here.

I purchased this doll for my grand-daughter as she had seen a Jessie plush doll at Target but it was gone when I went to purchase it. This so-called plush doll is a VERY CHEAP imitation of Jessie. The fabric is cheap/woven, the doll is barely stuffed and it is no where near the quality of the ones you could buy in a store. Save your money if you can't find one 'in person' as this is a BAD BUY. Mine will be returned!!

My daughter received this doll for Christmas and is very happy with it. It is very well made. I gave it a high educational rating, since it is non-talking doll, I feel the child is encouraged to use their own imagination more. And because the doll is non-talking, only the face is hard, the rest of the doll is plush and can be taken to bed with ease. The toy came quickly and is everything that the seller described.

This doll is really adorable. Looks just exactly like Jessie. Her face has a "barbie-like" material. Her hair and body is like a rag doll. The only big disappointment is that it came without a box! It only came with a sealed plastic, which is trash as soon as you rip it open to get Jessie. Now, I have to worry about finding a decent box to put her in so I can wrap it nicely for Christmas. I just wish it came with a box that least says "Jessie" or something. It would have been a better presentation than wrapping it with plastic!

This was given to my 9-month-old daughter and she loves it. It is the perfect toy for her age. She loves to look at her self in the mirror pan and to roll the pan with the ball in it. These are sturdy and will not break. I don't have to worry about her safety when playing with them. It is a simple but well thought out toy.

I got these for my 7 month old son for Christmas. I was not sure abotu it, I thought they would be boring but I figured I would give it a try at such a cheap price. Out of the 20+ gifts he got, this is his favorite. They nest/stack well, my 7 month old has no problem stacking them (and it makes it nice and small for storage). These toys have such simple things to them, the largest pot has a clear bubble in the bottom with some beads that move and make noise, the middle pan has a mirror which my son loves to look in, and the smallest pan has an attached ball in the middle that the baby can spin and it rattles. They seem very durable. My sons favortie thing to do is to just bang them together over and over. I would highly recommend this toy. It is cheap and gives hours of fun!

Bought these on a whim and glad I did! They keep my baby occupied for quite awhile. She loves the one that spins and makes noise and it's small enough for her to hold on to (she's 5 months) and get into her mouth. The one with the mirror holds her attention well also. Perfect simple toy!

Under the Sea 2-3 Piece Puzzles

We are constantly playing with this puzzle at our house -I also got the "pets" and "farmyard" ones for her. The pieces are very thick and durable cardboard, and about the size of an adult palm. The assembled animals can easily cover an adult hand, and there is no danger of small parts (the "smallest" would be half the size of my palm). When the pieces are dropped, they make a satisfying "click-click" sound when they hit each other (my toddler sometimes just drops the pieces onto the floor just for the sound)...yes, the pieces are THAT thick. While my child still has difficulty putting the puzzles together, she is able to identify the pieces that make up each animal, and has learned the names of the animals after we put them together with her. The set comes with 6 animals (turtle, starfish, octopus, seahorse, fish, and crab), with the octopus and crab being the only 2 animals that have 3 puzzle parts to them. I'm satisfied with this product because not only does it teach her the animals and how to match the parts together, but because the pieces are large and easy to find when it's clean up time, and the box itself is sturdy enough to withstand constant opening and closing, and is good for storage. Great product!!!!

This is a great toy. My 4 months old loves it. We got it as a Christmas present and he just loves to have it on his belly and hug it.

My son has some gas during the evening and since this toys vibes it helps to calm him down when it is on his tummy. Also the music is very cute and fun.

This product was recommended in a Babys r us magazine, at least it was being given away by the cash register.

What was notable was that the article recommended buying fom Amazon, and that it was a nice safe baby toy with those wonderful car qualities kids enjoy.

What I found odd abou it was how out of whack the wheel alignment on one axle. I don't know of it is a defect or they do nt care.

I suspect the latter since as far as my 1 y.o. is concerned its fine and fun. However, she still goes after her sisters Mattel cars.

The car is very good as just the right size for an infant. But that also means it is easily wielded as something to hit her sister with.

It may just be the improving motor skills but she has gotten very good at that and this car actually makes it worse.

The car is solid. Easy to use, the baby likes it, and can definitely manipulate it very, very well. It looks good too.

I think it is worth the money to have a good toy that does not seem like it will harm her, that is good to play with and helps with motor skill development. In our case it has added an extra dimension for positive social skill development.

I bought two more at this price so that we have more colors.

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Shake and Chime Ducky Ball

Grandma brought this toy to our little 3 month and 1 week old on a weekend visit. He always wanted to play with it due to the bright colors and fun jingle noise, but he'd often get frustrated with it. Makes sense since the box says it is for 6 36 months. Well, now that he is 6 months he does love it. He's been able to play with it without much frustration since about 5 months.

Educational value: I really think this toy helped him improve his grasping, the legs and handles are easy to get chunky little hands around. It was also a great toy to use when I wanted to encourage him to sit on his own, as the toy is easier to play with while sitting.

Fun value: When he was too little to play with it on his own but still intrigued by it's fun design I would hold on to the taggy-tail and shake the ball over him while he laid on his back. Guaranteed giggles every time. I don't know if it was the ball jingling or the funny face that got him, but he always returned a smile while this thing dangled over him.

Durable value: My boy has pinched, licked, and slobbered all over this thing. I can't imagine it will last forever, but for $10 it holds up well. Easy to clean, easy to re-inflate (when it starts to flatten out).

I don't know that I'd tell mothers to run out and buy it, but if you are in the market for a toy ball I definitely recommend this one. Also, it makes a great gift for all you aunts and grandma's out there.

I worried that the simplistic nature of this toy would make it boring, but not for my 8 months old. The "wings" and legs are easy for him to hold, and he just loves to shake it and hear it jingle! Giving 4 stars because the valve where you blow air in is tricky to reach around the fabric and leaks a bit, but this may just be me.

This is such a fun toy, but it is totally cheap. I guess I didn't research this toy enough because I didn't realize that the ball is a blow up beach ball. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it pops sometime soon. Probably would not buy it again.

Strawberry Shortcake Cloth Doll, 18"

My daughter was so happy to see it sitting in front of the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. It was the first toy she noticed right away. She couldn't wait to pick it up. I cannot complain about the quality of the doll very well made. It is so cute and cuddly. Note that the little doll is not included in the purchase.

My daughter (just turned one) got this for Christmas and she has been carrying it everywhere. It's much bigger than I thought it would be. Seams all look well constructed, so I think this doll will last a long time, even with being dragged all over the house under the arm of a toddler. I also loved that the strawberry at the top of the hat actually smells like a strawberry! I grew up with Strawberry Shortcake, and I think it's terrific that toys like this are making a come-back.

I love this doll.... I got it for my girls for Christmas and it brought a smile to my face to see her sitting underneath the tree. The girls love hugging her and smelling her (she smells like strawberries, or course!). It seems to be well made.

Bought this for our 5 month old son at Babies R Us. It seemed like a good choice for him since he was teething and was drawn to the bright colors when he saw it in the store. The sounds are fun and he quickly figured out how push the buttons over and over again. So beware if you are easily annoyed because the sound is loud. He liked chewing on the different "keys". Unfortunately the part that makes the sounds is too heavy for little hands so he tired of it quickly. Then it began to make strange sounds all on its own and died shortly thereafter. The little circuit board or whatever must not be able to handle baby drool. I think it shorted out. All in all it lasted about a month and my son would never play with it for very long. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Bought this for my parrot who loves toys that make music or sounds and/or flashing lights. She will mess with this a little bit but it isn't very loud and most of the sounds are garbled, would not recommend this toy.

While we are really pleased with the design of this quilt it comes up short (literally) in a few areas. We ordered the full/ queen size quilt and when we laid it out over our daughters queen bed it barely covered her top mattress, leaving the sides of thebox spring exposed. We're wondering, looking at the picture of the single bed sized quilt in the product description, if there's any difference between the single and the queen size? At any rate, don't buy this blanket if you have a queen or full bed and are looking for the draped over effect shown in the picture. We are keeping it for an extra fold up blanket for a cold night but as a permanent bedspread it's just not practical.

This bedding is super cute, just what I needed when my 4 year old asked for a ballet themed room.

The only thing I wish is that the quilt was a little heavier. It is very lite and my daughter will need an extra blanket on her bed in the winter.

Other then that, seems very well made, washed well and looks so cute with my daughters pink walls and white furniture.

I like this dog because it's cute, but it's a very average toy. The dog doesn't stay upright when being pulled by the string. So usually my daughter is dragging the dog around on its back. However, she still enjoys dragging it around.

My neice LOVED this and played and played with it. When she opened it, everything else was sort of forgotten about! ha!!!

I bought this for my 18 month old, but my 4 year old and 7 year old love playing with it as well (or at least they act like they want to play with it but really it's more to tease their brother.) Amazing toy for the money all my kids love it. My 18 month old has no problem with the puppy at all other reviewers complained about the dog falling over, well yes it happens, but then my 18 month old just stops, sets him up and goes on. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to set the dog back up (and if it does I guess my son is a rocket scientist.) He has actually even learned to slow down when he crosses from the hardwood floor to the carpet and back to help prevent the puppy from falling over. He plays with it every day and I love that it has no batteries! Great purchase for a toddler. Very pleased that I purchased this.

I bought this little pull along puppy back in 2006 when my oldest was just about 2 years old. She loved it! It was a lot of fun for her to pull the puppy along and she got a lot of pretend play out of it, too. My second daughter was born in 2006, so by 2008, she too, was playing with this toy. Both girls had tons of toys that made noises, such as kitchens, doll houses, baby dolls, other animals etc, but this was/is a simple toy that held their interests. Now, 6 years down the road, we still have this toy as well as another one that a friend gave to me that HER child play with, loved and outgrew. Both puppies are still around, they are durable, my girls banged them and dragged them up playground equipment and on roads. The great thing about this not being electronical, is that it doesn't require batteries and it still makes a small barking noise that they think is totally cool...and it hasn't broke...even after being played with by 2 dozen or so children in the past several years. Definitely recommend!
