The color of this mask is not as bright & vibrant as the picture. I was a little disappointed when I got it. The darker feathers were also not very long & fluffy like the ones depicted in the picture. This mask is OK...but I was expecting more of a "pop" or a "wow".

I purchased this mask for a party, but was not happy with it's "dull" look (compared to the picture). I shopped around for an alternative.

Big mask and so beautiful. I have a collection and I placed them all together. Everyone loves this mask. I should buy more.

I love the feather part of the mask, but was a little disappointed with the cheap glued on gold leaves..that looked like a 5 year was playing with a glue stick and sure enough 2 mins after taking it out of the package one of them fell off. The mask itself was not what I expected it looks for like a cheap superhero costume mask, does not seem to fully go complete with the feather portion...they just dont gel well together..

We were so excited to find a Winnie the Pooh walker and thought it would be very appealing to our baby with the toys, lights and songs. The walker is recommended for babies 5 months and up, so it was disappointing to find out that our 8 1/2 month old baby could not touch the ground. Our baby is not small; she is above average in height. We wanted something like this because she is starting to walk with some assistance. What's even more disappointing is there was room for another click or two (when adjusting the height) below their lowest setting that would have made it possible for her to touch the ground. Had they put those settings in, then the rating for 5 months and up would have been very appropriate. Finally, if she had been able to touch the ground, it didn't move well on carpeted floors.

the stroller is great for play and even feeding, the sides push over, but the range of motion isn't great, mainly forward and backward, and this frustrated my child, since we have twins we returned the other one before we opened it, but if I had thought about it, I would have kept the blue one with the dinosaurs 9we have a boy and a girl) there is one that looks like a jeep and it moves great, so that one we have now!

I think your kid needs to be 3 ft tall to use this walker... It is supposed to be for 4m+ babies.. my kid is 6+ month and she tall enough (75%) but then also she can't touch ground. I bought her another Chicco walker and she uses that nicely... This definitely doesn't work as a walker.. Just OK for an activity center..

Whoever designed it forgot that it is for babies... What a crap... Too bad I assembled it and my wife threw way boxes and all manuals etc...

My daughter is 27 inches tall at 6 months but her body is long and her legs are short. The walker didn't work for her. She loved all the bells and whistles and so did I but if she can't use it until she's already walking, then there's no reason to have it. It's really cute and if you really want one, try to find it in the store and make sure your child's feet touch the floor before you order it from Amazon.

I bought this item for my 6 month old twins, who both just measured in the 90+ percentile on height (one is 26" and the other is 27") yet neither of them could reach the floor on the lowest setting. I am really disappointed!

Infantino Pod, Monkey

I saw this in a recent issue of Parents magazine. According to their write up on it "This adorable music player lets you create a playlist of five songs." We aren't so sure that's the case. After receiving the two we ordered (one for my daughter, the other for a friend), we realized there are absolutely no instructions, and there is already music on it. No where on the packageing does it say you can record your own music. I'm sure that Parents magazine really increased sales on this toy, since it doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere. I want to warn people before they order it. I am glad we looked at it before we gave it to our friend for her first birthday. How embarrassing it would have been to give her such a cheapy gift for such a big event.

I have emailed the company in hopes that I am wrong, and they can tell me how to record music onto it. If they are able to help, I will revise my review.

I heard back from Infantino, and we were correct, you can not record music on it. They were very helpful and apologetic. My issue is with Parents Magazine, not with Infantino. But in the end we did return the Monkey Pod.

When I received this I thought it was really cute. But as the other person said, NO INSTRUCTIONS. I too looked online and couldn't find any. I didn't call the company, I just keep trying to figure out how to record. Mine actually didn't have the large RECORD on the front, only a picture with a microphone on it. And there is a place in the bottom where you can connect what I thought would be a microphone. Figured out later it is to put headphones like the ones that go with a computer so you can listen that way. Anyway, you push the RECORD or the MICROPHONE PICTURE and put your mouth close and record. To get your voice to record (I wanted to sing 10secs of a song I sing to my granddaughter) you have to almost YELL. But it eventually does work. Cute concept, not so great product.

We got this for Christmas, and my daughter (8 months old) loves to dance in her high chair to the music. I saw that it has a microphone on it, so i assumed it recorded, but had no clue where any packaging for it, let alone directions post Christmas craziness. So i looked around online, and then i played with it, pretty easy to get it to record (right after it say's 'lets record' ) It's not stereo quality by any means, its rough sounding, but its the music and beat that my daughter it enjoying.

This item is pretty easy to use, you simply press the mic button and record your/child's voice and then press it again when you're done. Then it will be one of the 4 options of songs the toy plays.

However, the ability it has to record is horrible. I had to YELL into it, to get it to even slightly pick up my voice and when it played it back, it was so quiet you wouldn't be able to hear it unless the rest of the room is silent.

Also since it's so easy to record, my kids randomly press the mic button and record but it's usually just garbled movement/noise. Which puts a break in the cute music that the toy has automatically set up in it.

With all that being said, my kids (1yr and 2.5yrs) do love the toy, and quibble over it. It's just a disappointment that the cool idea of record feature doesn't work very well at all and was very poorly executed.

I've had this game for several months. It's a fun simple concept. Sometimes the marbles do go flying though if you hit them hard, and if you had a couple of kids playing they'd probably lose some marbles. I tried to get my 3 year old niece to give it a go, and she loved the game, but only because she loved moving the marbles around to the various holes and decorating the game!

Haba Duckduck Clutching Toy

My 6-month-old received this as a Christmas present. It was cute and we liked that it was made of wood. But after a few weeks of playing with it, teething on it, and carrying it around in the diaper bag it fell apart. It is made of small pieces, so it would be very unsafe if it fell apart while a baby was playing with it. I am very disappointed.

I would not expect less from Haba! This toy is beautifully made. I especially love that it is a clutching toy and it is also a push toy, since it rolls along on the little "wheels". So cute and it's reassuring knowing it is safe for my baby to play with! Haba is a very good company and this toy is made in Germany, not China!

My son started playing with this toy a lot when he was 3 months old. It was one of the first toys he could easily pick up off the floor or a tray. Now, at 6 months it is still a favorite toy he loves to teethe on it and hold it. It is non-toxic so I feel very comfortable with him putting it in his mouth. We just bought this for our nephew, age 3. It teaches not only the letters, but the sounds each letter makes. It was very fun and entertaining for our niece, age 1, who "previewed" it today. I wish this toy had been around when my kids were getting ready for kindergarten. Also has a song for each key and teaches colors, too. Fantastic educational value.

This toy is worth the $.

We had the older version where the individual legs moved (like the purple one) and had to replace it because another kid really liked the toy and we gave it to them.

Why this rules 26 songs, letters, learn colors, learn the alphabet song. It talks. It keeps my child entertained. 2 volume settings. Very durable. My kid has dropped it off the coffee table multiple times and dragged it everywhere. It rolls smoothly on carpet or on hardwood. Bright colors. Voice is at a comfortable pitch.

There's been several different upgrades since the original one it no longer spells out "words" it used to when you put the letters together. The new one has a softer more "velvety" feel. It's smaller. Everything about it is the same.

Maybe this little guy is taking the bus' place.

This was the first gift my 2 year old opened on Christmas morning and it was also the last. He played with it instead of opening his other gifts... practically had to bribe him to eventually open gifts later in the day! My son has the green version of this toy and I am very impressed on the durability of it and the educational value of it. My son loves the music setting on it and presses the buttons all the time. He is only 13 months so he doesn't get the concept of it yet but still loves it just the same. Also if any of the other parents haven't figured it out (thanks to my sons father) in the setting where it sounds out the different letters it will not allow you to spell out any bad words. I think that is great! I can't believe that the manufacturers thought of that. I would get this for any child!!

I like Jellycat in general their toys are lovely and such high quality. But Jellycat retires their animals on a regular basis like beanie babies. Old popular toys end up on online auction sites for hundreds of dollars. My best friend learned this the hard way. Her daughter fell in love with Crochetta Mousewhich is now discontinued and impossible to find (if you see one around, let me know). So she has a worn out doll that her 2 year old is fiercely attached to, and she is terrified of the doll being lost or damaged beyond repair.

This is a soothie it's specifically a comforting toy that a child can get attached to. So I came here and bought a second (and considering a third). Seeing how much my daughter loves hers already, and knowing that Jellycat discontinues, I had decided that if I couldn't find a second one, I'd take it away from her altogether and find something else to get attached to.

Anyway, glad I didn't have to find something else. This is great. It's SO soft and sweet. And the color of pink is perfect. So is the size. She curls up with it in her arms and It's not so big like a blanket that I worry about it.

I couldn't do without this! I received this as a gift from a friend and my baby girl just LOVES it! She chews on it, sucks on it, cuddles it. When it's nap time I get her settled and give this to her, she grabs it pulls it to her cheek and within 5mins she's asleep! It's so absolutely soft, I've never felt anything this soft! And the floppy bunny is just adorable! I'll definitely be grabbing a second to keep on hand should anything happen to the one we have!

I bought this toy for a one year old's birthday expecting it to be much bigger it's very short and the rings are itty-bitty. It's not even close to the size of a typical ring stacker it almost seems more like a mini decorative toy than a real one. I doubt it would be too entertaining to a toddler due to it's size (plus it would be almost impossible for them to actually use). It's a shame because it is beautifully done but it's just too small. I returned it and Amazon was great about the refund.

This is a beautifully crafted toy, and I would really love it, if not for the incredibly small size. I bought this for my 9 month old son thinking he would learn with it, but unfortunately he can't use it, since the smallest rings are a choking hazard, and so is the top piece. I am so disappointed, I really wanted to love this toy, but for the price I expected something larger. I suppose it's my fault for not realizing that the pieces had to be small to fit the dimensions. Now we're out a toy, and it's 3 days before Christmas, so I guess he'll just be short one toy, since this will have to go back. It's an excellent idea, but bad execution.

When I recieved this it was smaller then I expected and like some of the other reviewers I found it more decorative. I was also concerned about the small pieces. I put up the smallest two pieces and my son kind of examined them here and there. However, now that he is almost a year he loves it and will sit and put all the rings on the stick over and over again. I've found the small size is actually the perfect size for him to pick up and he is very happy with it. I think it is a good size for small hands and as long as properly supervised is fine. I have not had any trouble with paint chipping. It is very well made.

You can attach toys to the mat, not just the arcs above the baby.

We don't like that much, but tolerate:

Polyester fabric is too... "slick" so baby can't gain traction during tummy time in order to crawl.

Rings for hanging toys are not enough. Some of the toys would be too high so we got some extra rings and used then to also hang other soft toys we had. You could get the Bright Starts Lots of Links.

I like this little gym, but I do have a few complaints about it. I'll start with what I like.

Pros:

* Very bright and cheerful

* Toys are cute and interesting

* Has a small footprint

* Easy to assemble

* I like the music on the Star

Cons:

* It's smaller than I would have liked

* I was afraid the Star that blinks and plays music would give my daughter a stroke. The blinking light was so fast and crazy it scared her, so when we use it, we lay it face down on the floor, which negates half of its purpose

* The material is very slippery, so when my daughter started rolling, she would slip around and then get caught up on the arms

My biggest complaint is the Star and how fast it blinks. Had I known this before I spent the money on it, I would not have purchased this item.

I really like this play gym so far. We just got it two weeks ago for my daughter who is now 11 weeks old and she seems to like it so far. The toys that come with it are very good, some even labeled in multiple languages (English, Spanish, French) to help when your baby is old enough to identify shapes. The theme of the mat is garden/outdoors but most of the images are based on basic shapes (circle, square and triangle) so your baby can identify them there too. I really like this mat above others I have seen because many of the images are "real life" images that look like photographs rather than the cutesy cartoon drawn images on many mats. This will help my little one connect to how things look in real life as well. The colors on this mat are brighter which I think stimulates better than pastel colors.

Since my daughter is so small still, I traded out some of the toys that came with it (the teether leaf and some of the hard hanging toys) for some softer toys we already own until she is bigger. I gave it 4 stars only because I am concerned the fabric for the mat may be too slick for my daughter to get enough traction to pull up when in tummy timefurther use may prove this wrong.

I bought this gym for our third baby with a gift card someone gave me because our older Baby Einstein gym was worn out after being LOVED by 2 kids. I am so disappointed we loved the original, but this one has some huge flaws, mainly in the setup. Since the bars do not cross, the gym doesn't just "pop" open when you put it down, so you have to use two hands to set it up (which is not easy to do when you're holding a baby at the same time). It also doesn't lie flat; the edges of the mat curl up against the bars because the clips are so far underneath. Also the toys are huge and made of hard plastic, so they hang down low (even from the top rings, the dog and frog practically hit my baby's head). Lastly, there is no support pillow with this one for tummy time. Unfortunately we washed the mat before we set it up, so there's no way for us to return the gym for a better one.

We received this toy as a baby shower gift for our now 4 month old son. At first, he loved this toy. It was his favorite out of all his many other toys. I was looking at it, and saw a white speck on the coys "pink" face, as I tried to rub it off, the pink paint CAME WITH IT!!!!!! The cows mouth & hooves are actually paint!! And they rub off so easily that it would take nothing for my son to get the paint off with his mouth and swallow it. I think this is a horrible product, WHY WOULD A COMPANY MAKE A BABY TOY WITH PAINT?! It's really such a shame too because my son really did love this toy. I wouldn't reccommend this to anyone.

I received these as a shower gift and put them away in the closet. When my son was 3 1/2 months old I was looking through things to find toys for him to play with I got these out and put them on his car seat. He couldn't reach them so I took them off and handed one to him to hold. He loves it. We went from fussy rides in the car, even though he has an expensive lights and sound mirror, to watching him play with the teddy bear most of the ride. My wife and I bought this for my sonm when he was 3 months old. Everytime he would cry, we played the ABC's and it would calm him down. He would cry every time we took it away until he fell asleep. Now that he is 13 months old, he sleeps with it in his crib and it still helps him go to sleep. He holds on to it all night long and when he wakes up in the middle of the night, we hear the ABC's going until he falls back asleep. When he throws it out of his crib, he cries until we give it back to him. We are going to buy another one, just in case something happens to the one he has. We bought this toy when my daughter was 6 weeks old. I held it up to show her in the store and she cried when I tried to put it back. We tried substituting the smaller dragon, but she could tell the difference so Dragon came home with us. At seven months, Dragon still gets smiles. Attached very well to a Graco crib. Music ("Adon Olam")is very sweet and delicate. Music box have a button and batteries included. It have a motor that rotates the mobile. Very sweet toys. Tzedakkah (charity) box have a coin, you can pull it out and it's goes back inside. A mobile made well and have bright colors.

The only thingmobile gets too low when fully assembled if baby's mattress in it's most upper position. This why I hanging the mobile straight to a hook without a music box for now. It's works fine for me, not a big deal.

When we will lower a bit baby's mattress, we'll assemble the toy as it meant to be.

Standard Disk Rattle

This baby rattle is made extememly well and my children love it! They like to hold it and make music, spin the shapes, and yes, chew on it. It's been in use daily for over a year now and still looks brand new!

Sesame Street Juggling Teether Toy

We bought the Elmo teether because it is BPA free. The balls are rounded and thick, so our baby has something to put her mouth around (vs. the less comforting flat teethers). We put it in the freezer and it stays cold for a decent amount of time. I'm not sure what is inside the balls, it has a foamy look, but it isn't just distilled water like most "cooling" teethers. Elmo contains a rattle, so that adds another element of interest for our baby. It is a super buy (under five bucks) for a bpa free teether/rattle. I wish it had come out sooner and I hadn't wasted twice the price on the Natursutten cooling teether.

My daughter always tends to bite the plastic portion of this teether which is bad for her gums. You will be better off buying a teether that is all round chewable.

Dandelion Organic Baby Doll Rattle, Brunette

I bought this when I was pregnant with my daughter because it was organic. It's hard to find toys that are suitable for infants and aren't made with plastics that are toxic. The construction of this doll is phenomenal. It holds up well to being gnawed and slobbered on, and pulled in every direction. I've washed her multiple times and the colors hold true. The material is really nice and soft. The rattle is also a big hit. Definitely recommend. I've purchased multiple other items from Dandelion following this because I was so pleased.

This is soft and quite cute. My three month old can hold her well. I like this doll but didn't realize just how small she was. I thought the listing said 8 inches. She is just about the size of my hand. But she is of nice quality and very cute. A keeper.

Bought this for my daughter at 4 months and she loved it. Great size and weight for little hands. Nice sounding rattle makes noise easily and is not too loud.

I just love this little rattle. She's adorable, made well and makes me smile when I look at her. I can't wait to give it to my little girl (when she is born!) I'm also impressed with how thorough Dandelion seems to be about environmental responsibility. The packaging is made with 100% recycled paper printed with vegetable inks. The doll is made of organic cotton & filled with corn fibers. They even donate a portion of their sales to support cancer research. From what I see, I like this company and will look at more of their products for my babies.

Just realized Dandelion products are made in China. Boo. I will keep 5 stars for the rattle though, as I am rating the rattle and not the company. Also, unfortunately most of our products are imported by companies who do not even acknowledge the environment, so I still appreciate Dandelion's sustainability. If they make a move to the USA, it would be perfect, as they are an American company.
