Toy Story 16" Jessie Plush Doll

Toy Story 16' Jessie Plush DollThis doll is NOT as pictured. The doll I recieved has a plush face, not a plastic face, and a different hat. I'm wondering if they changed the entire doll? It is not what I ordered, and am not happy as the price tag on the doll is much cheaper than what I paid.

I added pictures to show what I actually got AND the price tag that was included with the dollmuch cheaper than what I paid on here.

I purchased this doll for my grand-daughter as she had seen a Jessie plush doll at Target but it was gone when I went to purchase it. This so-called plush doll is a VERY CHEAP imitation of Jessie. The fabric is cheap/woven, the doll is barely stuffed and it is no where near the quality of the ones you could buy in a store. Save your money if you can't find one 'in person' as this is a BAD BUY. Mine will be returned!!

My daughter received this doll for Christmas and is very happy with it. It is very well made. I gave it a high educational rating, since it is non-talking doll, I feel the child is encouraged to use their own imagination more. And because the doll is non-talking, only the face is hard, the rest of the doll is plush and can be taken to bed with ease. The toy came quickly and is everything that the seller described.

This doll is really adorable. Looks just exactly like Jessie. Her face has a "barbie-like" material. Her hair and body is like a rag doll. The only big disappointment is that it came without a box! It only came with a sealed plastic, which is trash as soon as you rip it open to get Jessie. Now, I have to worry about finding a decent box to put her in so I can wrap it nicely for Christmas. I just wish it came with a box that least says "Jessie" or something. It would have been a better presentation than wrapping it with plastic!

green sprouts Cornstarch Ring Teether

green sprouts Cornstarch Ring Teether, PinkMy baby chose this rattle as her favorite to chew on while she was still gumming. She needed something without the nibs and a little softer than the others so that it would not hurt her. She now has her first tooth and this is still her favorite! The one with the rattle in it is the best, she can shake and chew!

Fisher-Price Topzy Tumblers Drop 'n Surprise Funhouse

Fisher-Price Topzy Tumblers Drop 'n Surprise FunhouseMy four year old wanted to get this for her little sister for her bday. I got it and brought it home and gave it to the one year old. She loved it. She just started crawling (preemie) and she loved chasing the wobbly people, it really motivated her to move. She did not understand the house all that well but she enjoyed watching the tumblers go through the passages. My four year old has played with it just as much as the one year old. It is something small, colorful and fun. I am thinking of buying this for my 3 month old niece for Christmas.

I have twin one year old boys and they are enjoying this toy and dropping the little topzy tumblers in the main hole and chewing on them in between. My only complaint is that the funhouse does not stand on its own once a child starts playing with it. We have to ensure it is up against their play pen or a wall for them to play with it. But it still falls over alot. Maybe it will be better as they get older and control objects better. The size of the funhouse is short, but good for a sitting baby. I wish they had a funhouse that was twice as tall.

Babies in our church nursery like it, but it falls over easily. Since little ones are not subtle in their movements, it is a hassle. And after a couple drops, their interest turns other places. It would be best against a wall.

My 16 month old daughter loves carrying around her Topzy Tumblers, and we thought this would be a great accessory for them. She knows where to put them and I think she enjoys it, but it doesn't hold her attention for long. I have to set it up against something else, because it falls backwards when she drops the tumblers into the chute. Cute, but there's not a lot to it.

My 22 month old granddaughter would seek out this toy when visiting. She was particularly challenged in placing the dolls into the correct position for the accolade of music etc. to activate. Great toy for developing fine finger, hand, coordination as well as creativity: she would always attempt to place other objects into the opening to see whether they would slide down or remain stuck.

Daren the Duck Wind Up

Daren the Duck Wind UpMy younger daughter got one of these as a gift but it broke rather quickly....so I bought another one. It must cost about 30 cents to make, so 6 and change is a bit much...but, it makes her giggle and she likes it, so in that regard, it's worth its excessive cost!

Playskool: Busy Chase 'N Crawl Duckies

Playskool: Busy Chase 'N Crawl DuckiesNot sure why the poor ducks got such bad reviews. My son loved them from the first time he saw this toy. We started using the ducks around 3 months. I would get on the floor with him during tummy time and roll the ducks towards him. He would light up and get excited as they came towards him. Then he started trying to grab and push them away. Then he started crawling after them so I would say the toy encourages movement and crawling.

The toy rolls very easily and makes a sound as the ducks spin around. It's pretty low-tech as there are no lights or music but it does make sounds and has different colors. My baby has pretty chubby paws so he was never able to get his hands stuck between the ducks. The toy seems to be well-made as it's been banged around but shows no signs of damage. Overall, I would recommend this toy.

This item has not received hot reviews. BUT it does promote crawling. My little guy LOVES to spin the duckies and has started to go try and go after it. He is not yet crawling (almost 8 months) but this has gotten him heading in the right direction. The face plates on each side turn and make a cranking noise which he loves to hear. I would definitely recommend this product!

Buy Playskool: Busy Chase 'N Crawl Duckies Now

We got this for our twins as a gift. It is completely useless really. My one son likes to make the duckies spin around but he's bored even with that now. The one side that is purple has an indent for a finger? Like maybe you can wind it up or something but you can't. Really? Is the baby going to know to stick his finger there and spin it because it takes a good deal of force to actually do it. The peek a boo ducky on the other side is a joke. Look! It has eyes.... It has no eyes....woh! Really dumb. The baby really can't do this one either. My twins are 8 months old, we have had this for 4 months and really it is collecting dust. Try something else.

I would never pay $14 for this toy. I picked mine up for $0.50 at a yardsale. That said, I do like this toy. My daughter hates tummy time and will scream if you put her down on her belly. She loved spinning the ducks and actually stayed on her tummy for a good 15 minutes! Some of the reviews about getting hands stuck in it are a bit worrisome, I can see it happening. I'll have to keep an eye on how she plays with it, but anything that keeps her focused during tummy time is a win.

My infant is 10 months old. He was playing with this toy and got his hand stuck between the ducks. One of his fingers was pinned inbetween 2 of the ducks. Would not recommend this toy!

The Snowman: Light-up Pullstring Musical by Kids Preferred

The Snowman: Light-up Pullstring Musical by Kids PreferredThe actual toy is not as pictured. There is a huge--and rather ugly--blue star on the snowman's head (bigger than the snowman itself!). It is the star, rather than the snowman, that lights up and plays music. There is no pull-string on the snowman; it's rather the tether connecting the star to the snowman's head that activates the music/lights.

As a result, kids cannot really cuddle with this and, based on other toys with the same design, it probably won't be as durable as toys with a regular pull-string. Hard to say though: we're just going to give it away since it's not at all what we wanted.

Buyer beware.

This toy may not be the classiest, or most educational but if you have seen the Snowman movie with it's hauntingly beautiful theme song, you will love this toy. Yes, the snowflake is clunky, but it has a music box inside it and couldn't be functional if it was delicate and beautiful. The cord doesn't pull out very far, so it seem safe for a child to manipulate, but I will hang mine in the nursery in the winter and use it more like a mobile.

B. Fish and Splish Boat

B. Fish and Splish Boat16 dollars is the suggested retail price! This item sells for 16 dollars at target and it is made by the "B.Toys" brand. That being said, it's a great bath toy and it's impressively big. We bought it as a birthday present for our daughter who loves boats and baffs and feeshes. Gonna write up a better review once she opens it but just wanted to let you guys know that manufacture's suggested retail price is 16 bucks.. paying 40 for this is absurd!

I bought this toy at Target. I really like the color palate and all the components including some functional components like a comb, nail brush and bathing cups. I like how all the parts fit inside the boat for storage. It is fun to play with. Our friend's four year old really loves it and can easily hook the fish with the fishing rod. Our 10 month old even enjoys playing with some parts like the cups and the captain of the boat. It is not very durable though, we've only had it for a couple of months and the wind-up wheel on the ferry is broken, as well as half of the tails on the fish. The wind-up wheel snapped when I was winding it, so if you do get it, be cautious about winding it up too much. The fish tails are just a little fragile. Two of them have completely snapped off and the other two are fractured. Only the fish that is also a nailbrush is not showing any signs of wear and tear because it is made of sturdier material. If you are looking for durability this is not a good purchase.

This is the best bath toy set in the entire universe. If you don't buy it for your kid, you are the worst parent ever. Just kidding, but for real, this is really awesome. I have fun with the little boat myself.

I am currently in the process of trying to get a hold of their corporate office after the blue & red paint on the stern-wheel part rubbed off onto my baby's body and onto my hands when I removed it from the tub! Made in China & the paint containing God knows what in it comes off in the bath!? NOT OKAY!

Want B. Fish and Splish Boat Discount?

My son is a very busy little guy. He won't stay in one spot very long until he starts whining to be picked up. This boat, however keeps him entertained as long as I need. When I'm getting ready in the morning to go to work, I sit him down on the bathroom rug, and put the boat in front of him. Within seconds, he has ripped to top of the boat off to find all the little fish inside. He loves to grab a fish in each hand and put them in his mouth. He then loves to click the fish together or on the boat itself to make as much noise as he can. During his bath, we use the stackable cups which have little holes like a shower so water goes through. He loves to feel the water with his hands that pours out of them. I have more fun fishing with the rod than he does, but I'm sure he'll grow into this. I did, however, decide to put the fishing rod away unless I'm actually sitting with him playing due to the shape of it for choking, or eye injury concerns. Every piece is made of very sturdy construction, and will probably last longer than you'll need it to. You will not be disappointed in this toy!

Lamaze Play & Grow, Moose

Lamaze Play & Grow Mortimer the Moose Take Along ToyMortimer the Moose was a hit with my daughter who is only 3 months old but VERY active and attentive.

The moose has so many nice colors to attract my daughter's attention. In fact, as soon as she saw the moose, she smiled and kicked.

Given the size of the moose (fairly large), it is not a problem for her to handle it since there are so many places she can hold on to. She is easily able to grip onto the mooses legs and/or "ring" tail (the tail of the moose is 2 textured rings, which makes for easier handling with little ones that have such small fingers).

The ears are gummy and great for teething babies. But for my 3 month old who has no teeth just yet, she is content to suck on the mouth of the moose which is soft, instead. The nice thing about this is I don't have to worry about the fur coming off and her choking on it.

This moose is wonderful for her motor skills. I like the fact that it is all-in-one--a chew toy (ears are gummy); a rattle (2 hoofs rattle), a crinkler (two hoofs crinkle when squeezed); has play rings (tail is made up of 2 colorful, textured rings); a stuffed animal (something to hold that's soft and cuddly); the scarf crinkles; the body of the moose has a squeak toy inside, so when you press the body it makes a squeaking noise; and last but not least, it even has a hook (ring shaped with opening) to allow you to hang the moose any where you'd like.

For the price, it's a wonderful gift, a great deal and will sure to be a hit with the infants! (BTW, even my 3 year old loved it!)

This is one of my 5 month old's favorite toys. It keeps his attention for a good amount of time. He loves the crinkle sounds and teething antlers. I love that it comes with an attachment hook, making it very easy not to lose. It has a high cute factor too. I would definitely recommend Morti to any friends.

This is my 8 month old sons favorite animal/toy hands down. I can always take it with us and not have to worry about him getting bored. He's loved it since we got it for him when he was three months old, and though it has lost some of its novelty, he still enjoys playing with the textures, and finds comfort in having him around.

This toy is really cute and makes great sounds, but my 4 month old has a hard time grabbing most parts of it. The tail has rings that she can grab, but the hooves are rather large, she tries to grab the feet part instead of the legs. The antlers that appear to be good to gnaw on are not all that easy for my daughter to get her mouth on, plus I worry about the pointier edges. Although this is cute, bright, and has lots of different materials, there are better toys.

UPDATE: Now that my daughter is closer to 9 months, she is loving this toy. She grabs the hooves and swings it around and really enjoys the rings on the tail.

I bought 4 Lamaze toys based on their 5 stars reviews, Buzz the Bug, Freddie the Firefly, Mortimer the Moose, and Jacques the Peacock. They are all beautiful and good quality and all have teething rings, squeakers, crinkles, and rattles. BUT to be honest Jacques the Peacock beats them all so easily, my baby only cares about jack. When she was born I show her the High contrast Black and White dots on jack's wings, and she was so mesmerized for several minutes.. While I agree that all Lamaze baby products are good and worth buying, but I think 1 or 2 is enough.

Sassy Go Go Friends and Go Go Chime Birds Set

Sassy Go Go Friends and Go Go Chime Birds SetA definite favorite! These make a chime-y sound that attracts my baby and gets his attention. I can attach them to his carseat, stroller, swing, play gym and more because of the velcro straps. When he tugs on them (and he TUGS) they have not come unfastened. But the real reason I love these toys? Because they have puffy feet attached to the body of the birds/bug by a long ribbon. When my baby is flailing his arms around his fingers "catch" the ribbon and his hand naturally closes around the feet. Then he realizes "hey I have something in my hand now" and pulls the toy to his mouth. Thes really seem to help with eye, hand, mouth coordination and amuse him forever! We have been using them since he was 7 weeks old. He is now 11 weeks old and they are still going strong. A must for any baby!

I purchased this because it supposed to be a set of three for the price. Like the other review I only received the bug. I called and they gave me partial refund which was fine I guess. I would've liked to get all three. Think before you buy.

Fisher-Price Moo Sounds Milk & Cookies

Fisher-Price Moo Sounds Milk & CookiesMy son just turned 9 months old but received this as a gift when he was about 7 months old. He loves to sort things and put them in and out of containers, so this was perfect. The jar is half filled with fake "milk," so he does not have to reach all the way to the bottom of the container to get the cookies. His little hands can easily pull them in and out. The cookies are small enough for him to pick up on his own (it comes with 5 colorful cookies), and he likes to reach into the plastic "jar" to pull them out. They are also soft enough that he can put them in his mouth without hurting himself. Each cookie has a texture to it, too, and he likes touching them with his fingers (I sometimes give him the cookies to play with while I am changing his diaper so it keeps him occupied). The container makes a "moo" sound when you turn it upside down, and my little guy enjoys turning it over and over again to hear it (which usually captures the attention of our dog, too). There is a thin blue lid that can be pulled on and off, but my son had difficulty doing this himself at this age, so we wound up just keeping the top off of it. Maybe the only negative is that we wound up losing one of the cookies, since he likes to carry them around sometimes. But that is certainly not the fault of Fisher Price!

Overall, great toy for 6-9 months. I assume he'll get bored with it as he gets older, since there is not much excitement to it, but for now, it suits him just fine! Another great toy for babies who like to sort and pick up pieces is the Fisher Price counting piggy bank. Both of these toys get a lot of use in our house (and must be cleaned often! Ha!). They are also both really cute and colorful, with durable designs. I gave this one 4 stars instead of 5 simply because there's not much to it and I don't think there is much educational value in it, but it's fun for him and he likes it.

My main feedback on this item is that it could be so much much better!

One of the reasons I got this particular toy is that I thought it would provide my infant with an actual sound of "moo" that we've been telling her (reading all the farm animal books). In reality, this toy makes sounds like a sick goat (i.e., nothing like a cow!)...

The other reason I got this toy was that I thought it would make a sound when you put the little "cookie" inside, but in reality it makes a sound when you turn it upside down. Not sure what this is supposed to teach a baby, but this toy ended up being the complete opposite of "fun."

What would have been a good toy in my opinion is if it made a _correct_ sound when you _deposited_ the little cookie. Oh, and almost forgot, the little sticker that attached to the base is more trouble than it's worth. It makes it more appealing but we had to remove it on the first night that we received the toy...

Buy Fisher-Price Moo Sounds Milk & Cookies Now

I was buying the similar Fisher-Price Piggy Bank for my mother (she works with developmentally delayed children in a school setting) when I threw this product in, just in case someone walks off with the piggy bank. My mom really likes this, and might even use it instead of the pig it is a great size (a little smaller than the pig, and less rotund so it's easier to store when space is tight), and looks really sturdy. Only one problem: I was told that when it is tipped upside down it doesn't sound so much like a cow mooing as a lamb being slaughtered. I didn't hear the noise personally, but I did hear my mom and sister laughing at it from a floor away. This is absolutely fine for us my mom doesn't like the noises anyway, and usually turns them off when working with kids particularly since she gets a kick out of it, but I can see that being a problem for someone else...

Rocky Cat and Dog

Rocky Cat and DogIt is great to know there are quality toys still available that are made right here in the United States. This product reminds me of my childhood.

I wanted to purchase a classic toy but also wanted one made in the USA. Most, including some 'upscale' brands, are made in the People's Republic of China. So I was surprised to see this on Amazon. Item arrived as shown on the website. Pieces were solidly made, with all edges smoothed down. The toy was thoroughly enjoyed by the toddler who received it.

Just one minor note: the rod portion of the toy that holds the wooden rings has a rounded tip, but I would still advised caution for young kids playing with this that they not fall on it, especially the eyes. Perhaps I'll a bit paranoid, but if you watch any medical TV shows, kids can get hurt in all sorts of ways.

Nonetheless, I have no regrets purchasing this otherwise well made toy that supports a US company.

We bought this stack toy for our youngest son when he was a newborn. He is almost three and still enjoys stacking the rings and coming up with creative combinations, and it still looks brand-new. It is made in the USA, which was a huge draw for me. It wasn't cheap, but because of the quality and craftsmanship we will be keeping this toy & passing it down to the grandkids someday.

Taggies Big Soft Blocks

Taggies Big Soft BlocksIt's a nice soft toy for younger kids. Each of the blocks has something different such as a ring or a "mirror" along with different animals. However our do not stack as shown in the picture. They are soft which is a good thing but it also means that it can be crushed pretty easily which is not a problem until the corners get bent in. When that happens, the cubes do not return to their original shape by themselves but rather must be pulled back into shape which generally works but must be done by a parent.

Taggies big soft blocks. My 6 moonth old Granddaughter loved these blocks (so did my nine year old West Highland White Terrier). They have little tags everywhere and are very tactile as well as cute animal designs. They are very well made and will last a long time. The fun animal designs will be more interesting as baby gets older.

Manhattan Toy Tiger's Jungle Adventure Book

Manhattan Toy Tiger's Jungle Adventure BookI received this book as a gift when my daughter was born. From the very beginning the pictures held her attention; then, as she grew, she became fascinated with the different textures used on the animals, the crinkly parts of some pages and simply the indescribable joy of being able to turn the pages by herself (at eight months, she's just now starting to be able to turn board book pages without my help). I expect that the book will continue to interest her as she gets older: the text is very simple and easy to read, and one can also play "find Baby Tiger" as he is hiding in a different place on each page. I like it because it washes well (although I do dry it on the "delicate/low heat" cycle so that the crinkly bits and the squeaker in Baby Tiger's nose don't melt), I don't have to worry about her chewing on it, and even after eight months I can still pull it out when she's getting grousy, say "Want to read Baby Tiger?" and have her take the book and settle in to look at it happily a true godsend when in the car or when she's stuck in her crib or playpen while I finish up a chore. I would definitely recommend this book!

When I was pregnant, I carefully studied Amazon's best-selling baby items and read the reviews and created my baby registry based largely on that. This book got such glowing reviews that I added it, and, when no one got it for us, bought it myself. I have no idea why it got such good reviews.

This is the entirety of the book:

Title: Baby Tiger's Jungle Adventure

The zebra has stripes

The Lion ROARS ROARS

The Peacock has Feathers

The Crocodile is Bumpy

The Elephant is BIG

My Daddy is Orange

The End

The pictures aren't that interesting, nor the "interactive" features (mainly little flaps where the little tiger is hiding), and, as you can see from above, some words in sentences are capitalized for no reason (one of my pet peeves). I expect more from a book that costs almost $15! My baby shows no interest in it whatsoever. Waste of money.

Buy Manhattan Toy Tiger's Jungle Adventure Book Now

It's hard to really write a review of a children's peek-a-boo book, but I'll try: this book serves the purpose of being "interactive" but it's just not all that exciting. The "flaps" for kids to look behind are pretty small so they seem almost incidental rather than intentional. However I guess you could argue that's good for fine motor development? Regardless, the interaction doesn't offer that much of a reward (e.g. half of what's behind the "flap" is already exposed before you move it). I'd suggest looking for an alternate to this one.

Read Best Reviews of Manhattan Toy Tiger's Jungle Adventure Book Here

I bought this book for my 6 month old grandson because I needed another purchase to reach my free shipping with Amazon. I chose this book because of the cover. My grandson loves it! I will probably purchase more of these books.

I like the idea of the book but my daughter just did not seem to get into the textures although she normally really likes books. Her favorite part was the velcrow that holds the book together.
