Small (as advertised and expected) but the size seems perfect for newborns and other young children. Super soft, super cute, and the couple I got it for (as part of a baby shower present) loved it.

Seems like a good size for an attachment animal for babies and young children because only the head is stuffed, the body is flat, so it packs very small but is big enough to get good handfuls of. Also, as I said, very very soft.

Probably not big enough to be an only gift, but as part of a multi-gift gift it was fantastic. Would def. buy another animal from this company as a baby shower gift in the future.

Wonderworld Duck Family Wooden Pull-Along Toy

So so cute. Mama duck being followed by baby ducks. Who doesn't want to watch their toddler dragging this thing around behind them?

Unfortunately, although this toy is adorable to see, its engineering isn't quite right. It is almost impossible to pull it around without the rear ducklings flipping over, and it is oddly difficult to right them. It's even hard for us adults in this household to play with this toy without capsizing (we use it on carpet, but it's firm non-bumpy carpet so it should work fine. All our other pull-toys are fine). I am hopeful that when the boy gets a little older, he'll be able to get some use out of this up on the hardwood, where it'll be less likely to fail. But for now when he's mostly playing on the carpet, it's pretty much a fail.

Also, ours was sloppily produced, with stray strands of dried glue all over the place. Boo.

I am very happy with this toy and my 15 months daughter likes it very much.

Little Tikes Princess Cozy Coupe

It's a perfect gift for any toddler girl. It's the famous Cozy Coupe that has been around for years and always a favorite for any toddler except this is aimed at girls with the purple and pink design and decals and a cell phone to boot. Purchased as gift for my 2 yr old niece and she absolutely loves it! Her mom says she stays in it for hours and even has to take it inside the house because Sara will not part with it.

We had gotten a regular cozy coupe from Freecycle, but when we moved I planned to get my daughter this one (hey, princess, who wouldn't want one?). I couldn't find it at any of the stores around here, so I bought it on amazon and while it was expensive with the shipping, my daughter was sitting in the coupe before we were even done putting it together. I think the age range for 18 months might be a little low as they don't know how to peddle with their feet at that time, but by 2 definitely perfect! (This was for her second birthday). Assembly was very easy, took about 15-20 minutes (with toddler wanting to get in before done) and then she was strolling through the house with the cozy coupe. I have to admit, I like this one much better then the original one, much more fancier and very much for a little princess (girl). The phone is a little cheaper looking, but it lights up and does some sounds when you press on the button. Very cute! She will play with this for a long time and with a second girl coming in two months, I know her sister will use it also! :)

This was a Christmas present for our 20 month old little girl. She loves it, although I don't feel the wheels turn all that well. It was easy to put together and seems relatively sturdy. Our 5 year old little boy loves to get in with her (definitely a tight squeeze) and they play great together with it! All in all I would buy this again...it's great for a range of ages.

At Christmas I purchased the Mary Jo Gardener version for my niece. It was cute but overall the doll was a bit smaller than I had expected. The activities all seemed appropriate and well sized for small fingers. This time I purchased the Giraffe because she was a bit bigger and I am happier with this item. Both are good quality, and with its bright colors and all the buttons, snaps and zipper it should do the trick. Arrived sooner than predicted shipping date too.

My 13 month old twins love this giraffe. They're very attracted to the colors and like the snuggly softness. The fasteners all work well and are a great intro into fine motor skills. My girls are very happy with this toy, and I can see them playing with it for a long time as they learn how to work the different features.

Love the entire green elephant set. We are having a girl, but wanted to keep the room relatively gender neutral (we have enough pink clothes anyway). This is so cute! Appears well made seams are even, closed, etc. Only difficulty was finding a paint color to match. After painting about 11 different color swatches on the wall we decided on corn husk by Behr and that was lightened or not full strength or whatever the terminology is. Small World Express Egg-Shape Sorter

Having purchased many of the Hide and Squeak Eggs sets for my son and birthday gifts for other babies, I thought I'd give this egg set a try: it's not worth it. The Express Egg Shape Sorter just isn't as enjoyable. You have to line up the pieces just right to get them to connect, and for little hands and little babies, this just isn't possible yet. Also, the case is very flimsy and the whole thing just feels so cheap.

The Hide N Squeak Eggs come in a really fun case, the shells intermix and young babies can connect them on the different eggs very easily. Even the eggs are cute, when you press them they squeak! It is difficult for my son to put the egg shapes in the right place in the egg carton, but not a big deal; he enjoys playing with the eggs while he's learning to master this skill.

The Express Egg Sorter has limited appeal and use. Really wouldn't buy these again. I definitely recommend the Hide N Squeak set.

I'm puzzled by some of the other reviews...my child's experience with the egg sorter is completely different from those who report difficulty and frustration. A friend of mine gave it to my son when he was 2, and indicated that it was her daughter's favorite toy. My son found it equally entertaining. When other toys were cast aside permanently, it was one that he would go back to. Visiting friends were always attracted to it as well. When he at last outgrew it, I kept it in the very small collection of sure winners for visitors and potential grandchildren. Yes, there is a right way to put each egg together, and a right way to fit the egg in to the crate, but it is designed to promote pattern recognition and build dexterity. Challenge is good! I agree the handle is flimsy but it hasn't been a problem in the 13 years that we've had ours. Of course it only got daily use for about 2 years. I'm now buying another set for nephews who want their own!

Like the play value of the toy, and all three of the grandchildren seem to enjoy matching the shapes, but it is sometimes hard for my two year twin grandsons to get the eggs apart. The good thing is I think it they are getting easier to get apart as they are used more.

Fisher-Price: Boppin' Beats Build-a-Band Musical Stacking Toy

I bought this when my daughter was 7 months old, and she was immediately fascinated. At 9 1/2 months, she still loves it! My only concern is that it is a fairly heavy toy overall and the tambourine is quite heavy and hard. She has never hit herself or anyone else with the toy or its detachable instruments, but I do watch her closely because of this concern. Overall, I think this is a great toy; fun and musical but not too loud or annoying.

Disappointed with this one. It's a hybrid of sorts: it tries to be a song maker, a piano, and a stacker all in one. Unfortunately for small children, it's too bulky to really stack, and the drum and tambourine are too difficult to remove. The piano plays pre-set songs, or tracks of songs, rather than notes, so children have to listen thru before they engage again. Would have preferred individual sounds as (at least) an option. Because of the way the sound settings work, and the ease in which the cymbal can activate, ours essentially plays one song over and over again. We were definitely hoping for more, although it's not without its charms at times.

She loves all the action, the play cymbal, the little drum pad, the tambourine...my only negative comments is that it's a little bulky for storage, takes up lots of room in the toy box. This has a button that lets you record a short message. My 7 year old plays with it more than the baby, but the baby likes it too. I like that the buttons are smaller and not really "kid looking" but more like something you'd see on a remote control. Babies seem to prefer those buttons over the comically large, cartoonish ones on other toys.

You can only record 1 message into this phone and there are only 2 prerecorded messages. One of the prerecorded messages is in a strange voice. My daughter likes that is rings when she closes it but it's not what I had expected at all and it provides very little entertainment.

They stayed with us for a week and this little play phone was carried around, talked to, and played with more than any of the other toys we had for him it was a real favorite! I bought this for my toddler, but my 7 year old niece seems to enjoy it more. She mainly uses it for the record feature. She likes to record a message privately and then give it to someone to see how they will respond. She thinks it's quite funnylike a watered down version of crank calling. My toddler rarely reaches for this toy.

Our baby LOVES this bendy bug! She screams for it if she can't find it! There is something about it's face that she loves.

I will say though that we bought this at a "high end" neighborhood toy store and only paid $4.99 for it! I couldn't believe it was $9.99 on here!

Just a note to the other reviewer! You should never heat ANY plastic to such a high degree, especially something a child is putting in their mouth! They release chemicals which are toxic! This includes dishwashers and microwaves!

My 7 month old was given several Fisher Price toys as a gift. The boxes didn't say whether or not they contained toxic chemicals such as BPA or pthalates, so I called the company. They said that BPA is used in their toys, but not in their high chairs. Sad! A trusted company that sells products for babies (who put everything in their mouths!) should NOT be putting toxic materials in the products.

My 15-month old son received this phone as a gift when he was 6 months old. He didn't use it much back at 6 months, but steadily his interest in it grew. He always prefers to play with my cell phone, but if I spend 30 seconds or so talking on this toy one, he'll gladly take it for a little while.

It's not the kind of toy that can amuse a child for very long, maybe 5 minutes tops (which is why I knock it down 1 star), and it really doesn't teach much, but the compact size is perfect for throwing in your bag/stroller with a few other small toys for those moments when you need to pull out something to distract your child.

As others state, the greetings are nice, very clear. Every button makes a sound, and the music is both short and pleasant to the ear. I often find Fisher Price toys very poorly/cheaply made, but this one is really quite good. It's been dropped on our hardwood floors many times, and it still works almost perfectly (the music is slightly out of tune now, probably because of the internal battery wearing down).

When we first got this phone, we were a little disappointed because it flipped closed too easily and my son couldn't open it again. Now that he is 10 months old, he really loves it, and can open and close it by himself. It is one of his favorite toys. He has even learned to say "Hi," when answering the phone because this phone says, "Hello" when it is opened. He loves pushing the buttons which make noises and music. I just wish this phone would light up like a real phone. He still loves the real phone best because it lights up green when the buttons are pushed.

Not that I encourage cell phone use or anything, but my 9 month old daughter loves our tv remotes, so I decided to get her a toy remote and also this toy cell phone (she hasn't gone after our phones since we don't use them much, but I figued what the heck). Well, she loves this cell phone toy more than the toy remote. We pretened to talk on it to keep her interest level up, but she finds it so much fun to open and close it that I'm not sure we really need to talk on it. When you open and close it the phone either plays a short song or says "hello" or "goodbye." It also makes the touch tone sounds when you press the numbers and has a "call" button that makes ringtones. It's a great toy! We've had it for almost a month now and my daughter still loves it, and it has held up well to sucking, chewing, dropping, and a lot of opening and closing. Not sure how educational it is? Does my kid need to learn how to use a cell phone? I guess she learns the dexterity and cause and effect of opening and closing something and having it make sounds.

Spin Disc

This toy is a must for children with sensory and balance issues. The sitting area is large and it is easy for children to sit comfortably with their legs folded. I bought it for my 8 year old who weighs 54 lbs. My 10 year old son who weighs about 75 lbs can sit with plenty of extra room. Once you start spinning, the toy keeps the momentum going. If you try to spin it too fast a child can fall off since it is on an angle, but you have to spin very fast and be a little dizzy for that to happen. It is very sturdy and I cannot find a single thing wrong with the craftsmanship of this product.

This was a fantastic spinning toy for my 6 year old autistic son. He's 50-60lbs, so well within the weight guidelines. He would spin so fast and it brought him so much joy!

After 3 months of daily use, it broke. The plastic in the base that the shaft goes through split, and would therefore no longer keep the washers and bearings secure, so when he'd sit on it, the top would be sitting directly on the base and would not spin. Those of you with autistic children can understand, when your child gets used to a particular activity in their daily routine and then have it break, it's a disaster! Meltdown city and impossible to communicate to my nonverbal child that it is broken.

The manufacturer of this product is a private source and you can NOT contact them directly. The representative of Sensory University (the seller) could offer me no recourse as the manufacturer only guarantees the product for 30 days! Just 30 days!!!

I had to reorder another one, which at $129 + shipping is not cheap! Especially if I am going to have to replace it every 3 months!

I would urge the manufacturer of this product to change the base of this spin disc as well as the way the base attaches to the seat--make it all metal plate and shaft, so plastic splitting is not an issue. Additionally, I would urge them to increase their warranty time and have the ability to be contacted by consumers! I'm really disappointed.

We loved this disc, which is the ONLY reason I am hesitantly purchasing another one. I hope the next one lasts a little longer.

I really do love this spin disc. I am a traveling therapist so it is a little bigger and heavier than I would like for moving between locations. Bought these for my 3 month old grandaughter. Specifically I was looking for wrist rattles with an elephant's face. She is teething and enjoys chewing on the nose as it is firm enough but doesn't taste of plastic. So far it is holding up just fine. The gentle rattle sound is just loud enough that she is reminded that it is there, but not startled by accidental movement when she is soothing herself.

I agree with the other reviewer here that the low rattle sound that it makes doesn't really get the baby interested.

Also after 3-4 months (my baby is now 6 months old), the lower part or chin part of the elephant rattle...the stitching came off. Therefore the cotton or whatever material is inside is now showing and coming out. I won't give it to the baby again because baby might choke on this fiber fill or cotton filler.

These are excellent wrist rattles. With these rattles kids can't throw them on the ground every two minutes so they're entertaining without causing parents to pick them up all the time. ACCESSORY: Little Touch Carrying Case/Tote

The concept is good, however it is just not functional. The game system itself barely fits inside. There are 2 small pockets for storeage of game books and the cartridges...which if you have more than two barely fit. It does not organize well and I am afraid that the cartridges will fall out at some point. This product is not worth the $20 we paid for it.

My son got a bunch of books/cartridges and a Little Touch Leapad for Christmas. It was hard to keep track of all of it, so when I saw this bag I immediately bought it. Everything fits perfectly inside and it's great for travel!! It keep the cartridges more secure I put them in a sandwich bag before the pocket, other than that I just use it as is. This is a great accessory for the the Little Touch Leappad.

I agree. The leap pad barely fits inside and has big pouches, rather than velcro flaps to contain all of the loose parts that come with the pad. Don't buy this.

That smart little two year old grandbaby loves her Leap Pad, but had diffuculty carrying it, so the Little Touch Carry Case is perfect for her. Now she can bring her Leap Pad, as well as extra books, and even a bottled water in the holder to my house. She loves it!

I find this tote very functional as long as you use it as a carrier or tote. You will be very disappointed if you are purchasing this for storage if you want storage I recommend you buy the LeapPad Storage Organizer (it comes in blue & pink). I use this tote to carry my daughter's Little Touch books and cartridges to our friends and family houses. I usually carry 4 books and the accompany cartridges 2 in each front pocket. I have no problem getting her system in the bag and I have spare room for more books and cartridges in this section. I use the extra space when we go on long family road trips. I put 4 extra books in this section and that gives me a total of 8 books and cartridges that I can get into the bag. I am very pleased with the bag it has met all my expectations!

I bought this for a little girl's first birthdaymy 3 yr old saw it and played with it for days leading up to the party. I was surprised she would like it bc it is a "baby" toy. She loved watching the little faces pop in and out. Sometimes she was "vacuuming", other times she was "mowing"... great for imagination! The toy is simple, but that is why it was so perfect!

Two potential drawbacks: it is noisy on non-carpeted floors, and it is wood, so if your kid likes to swing things around...watch out! I am more than willing to work around those drawbacks though and will be back to purchase another one of these once my baby learns how to walk!

Fisher-Price Team Umizoomi Vehicle - Milli

Be patient and buy this toy from Toys R US or Babies R Us, for $6.99 instead of buying from the second hand dealers. I finally got all three of them this weekend. I am not sure why they aren't sending more then 5 at a time of these toys to Toys R Us, but that's what I would do. They get the toys in on Fridays and that is when they told me to call them to see if they got more in. Then ask them to save it for you behind the counter, but they only save it for a few hours. The toy is super cute, and lots of fun! My little one is so excited, that it is hard for me to wait until her birthday to give them to her! Good size for smaller hands.

My daughter had her tonsils out and as an insentive to get her to drink I pulled out Millie from my hiding place and gave it to her. It is sturdy, and incredibly cute! It also bends the legs in a way that won't break and is easy. She sits in the plane just right, and can even be snapped in so when she is flying she doesn't fall out. My daughter sleeps with her and has been playing with her and she is a good size for taking in the car. She is also water proof so she can play with her in the bath tub! Something she really enjoys! I am finding more and more of these in the stores now! Can't wait to give her the other two characters, and I am thinking they will also work as a cake topper for her birthday cake!

Team Umizoomi toys are in high demand & very hard to find which unfortunately has led to some high prices. I was able to get Milli directly by continuing to call Toys R Us until they had her in stock for $6.99. That is the price each of the 3 characters should be so I was ecstatic to get Milli for that. IMPORTANT NOTE: you must buy all 3 characters as your children will automatically want all 3 characters b/c they are Team Umizoomi. You are unable to just give one b/c they don't understand where the others are. I learned this quickly.....as soon as I gave Milli, the first question is where are Geo & Bot? Thank goodness I had made sure I bought them all before giving any of them or I would have had some sad little one's. Toys R Us never had the other 2 in stock so I watched Amazon daily. I eventually got Bot for around $11.00, but Geo never came down lower than the upper $20's. Although I'm upset that they don't have enough of these toys available which leads to price gouging, the toys themselves are very nice & look exactly like Geo, Milli & Bot. With each one you get a vehicle: Milli jet, Geo helicoptor & Bot the UMI Car which is a favorite! I really wish I could have paid $6.99 for each of them as this is how it should be, but it was worth having all 3 & paying a little more. It got kind of tiring calling Toys R Us daily & having them check the floor & back room to see if they had any (note: be sure to check their website too b/c once in great while they did have one in stock, but unless you spend a certain amount you will pay shipping & then Amazon might be a better option as it was for me). Also, I figured the time to keep calling the store, drive to the store & gas made the $11.00 for Bot okay. Geo was the highest, but that was all that was available.

If you are able to find these @ Toys R Us you will pay $6.99 each (Good Luck!!!!!); however, this has been difficult for some time as other reviews show as well.

Please make sure to buy all 3 before giving them to your children. Unless they truly have a favorite they will want the whole team & I honestly don't know why they didn't think to sell them as a team. Team Umizoomi is 3 characters & it would have been nice to purchase them as a set.

waited for a week after stopping in on a Monday and a Friday at Toysrus. I would wait til they have them in for $6.99. It might take awhile but you get the whole set for less than $21.00 plus tax.

My grandson who's 2 1/2 loves the show and Milli the most because of her measuring tape ponytails. This figures doesn't have a working measuring tape ponytail but he loves it just the same. She fits in a pocket easily and he loves the plane she comes with. I'll keep stopping in when I'm near a toyrus and see if I can get the other two. Toyrus says it only gets 5 in at one time and this week it was only Milli. It's almost like Cabbage Patch kids all over again finding these figures.

These are super cute toys. I have to buy them from ebay because Amazon doesn't ship them to my country. My 34 months old son has been watching Team Umizoomi and loving it. I bought these toys for him so that he can relate to the cartoon better. His eyes really brighten up when he saw "Bot" and shouted "Umicar". He got more and more excited as I took out Milli and then Geo. These are good size little dolls with their respective vehicles. They are simple but fully captured the features of the cartoon. The dolls can sit in the vehicles or taken out to play separately. However the arms are not movable.
