Tupperware Shape O Ball Toy
Buy Tupperware Shape O Ball Toy Now
I chose this shape sorter because of the retro factor... it's just like the ones I remember from when I was young. Others I've seen don't have as many shapes as this one (my son now knows 'trapezoid'!) and it is self-contained, durable and very portable. It's also multi-purpose... besides being used as a shape sorter toy, my son: rolls it around as a ball, shakes it up so the shapes rattle around inside, and we trace the shape pieces with a crayon to learn how to draw shapes. One of his favorite toys!Read Best Reviews of Tupperware Shape O Ball Toy Here
The Tupperware shape sorter is the best baby sorting toy out there. We live abroad now, but I picked up 4 of them to bring back to Europe. The reasons, why our kids loved it so much: 1.) Form and function are above all other similar sorting toys. It is just a very well made toy 2.) It is plastic and easy to lift and clean (A lot of parents would prefer wood. But often, the wood sorters are simply too heavy and bulky to be handled by little toddler hands) 3.) It is formed like a facetted ball. That makes it easy for baby to turn it around themselves. 4.)The cut out holes and the shapes are very precise. Only *1* shape fits into *1* correct hole. Many other shape sorters even more expensive ones allow for wiggling wrong forms into wrong holes 5.) It is a mental challenge because some of the shapes are really hard to discern like trapeze, pentagon, hexagon 6.) For parents: It is no "loose pieces nuisance" like so many other toys because: when baby is finished playing, all pieces are automatically back inside. So there are hardly any pieces ever lost 7.) Keeps baby busy for about 10 minutes
For ages 9 months and up.
I recommend it!

I think my daughter got this toy for her first birthday. At first I only let her play with it while I could help her, because she'd get frustrated or bored. I would put the shapes halfway into the slot and help her push them in. Then I would put the shape into the correct position in her hand and show her the slot to put it in. Eventually, I would let her pick the shapes she wanted to put in, and position the ball for her to put the shapes in the slots. She's 23 months old, and can put all the shapes in herself, quickly and easily, and she can name about half of them as well. She's also figured out how to open the ball for herself and empty the shapes, so she can play independently. She's now teaching her little (6-month-old) brother how to play with the toy (he just likes to chew and drool on the shapes right now). This is a durable toy, and totally worth the extra cost.
There are just some toys every child should grow up with (oldies but goodies), and this is one of them!

Little Devil Infant/Toddler Pacifier
Buy Little Devil Infant/Toddler Pacifier Now
I bought this for my niece to go with a devil costume for halloween. It was a nice touch. My sister didn't use it much after that, but my niece was only ten days old for halloween and I didn't know that she wasn't going to use pacifiers much.(She disliked them all not just this one after a couple months) Still worth the money for the pics!Read Best Reviews of Little Devil Infant/Toddler Pacifier Here

Fisher-Price Bright Beginnings Musical Activity Keys
Buy Fisher-Price Bright Beginnings Musical Activity Keys Now
We received this as a gift right after our daughter was born. The blue music key made changing time a bit easier in the early weeks when she hated being stripted down. The sounds got her attention for a moment. We learned that the 'wheels on the bus' tune was the best. Now at nearly 5 mo, we still play the key everychanging time. And sing wheels on the bus a thousand times a day, while changing her or anytime she becomes upset, restless or bored! We play games with the music key, place it near her feet or hand, show her once where it is, by touching her limb to it to make the sound. She will begin kicking or hitting it to make it go off... she has been doing this for several months already. The ring the keys are on is too flimsy. We use with out it. She has just begun being able to grasp any of the keys because of the bulky size, but really enjoys trying. I think FP should redesign it, if you tried attaching it to anything, like the diaper bag, it would fall off and get lost.
Our blue key stays on the changing table. We would be lost with out it.

I received this as gift for my daughter and is a good one.But children can only play with it for one month or so since after that they will be interested in other toys.
But while they play with it, it is very good.

He loves them but only one plays sound. I was expecting more for the price at least 2 singing pieces.Sunday, March 16, 2014
Silly Safari Costume, Leopard Costume
Buy Silly Safari Costume, Leopard Costume Now
This costume is adorable and really well made for a Halloween costume. The face is sculpted and looks so realistic. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because one of the ears was sewn on backwards. That was a bummer, but something we'll always be able to laugh about when looking back at pictures.Read Best Reviews of Silly Safari Costume, Leopard Costume Here
Looked super cute on a 2 yr old. Had a great Halloween. The sizing was a little difficult to understand and I had to exchange this because I received something smaller than expected. (Look for Rubies sizing chart -small 3/4yrs was cut off of chart) I would say that this costume is good for a one time use and then maybe some further play/dress-up thereafter. However, it will probably need new velcro fasteners and a wash if it is continuously worn.Great costume son wore it several times before Halloween and it held up really well. Was having a hard time finding a boy's cheetah costume so this worked out.Friday, February 28, 2014

This device will be something that will meet maturing interests. At 10 months, some of the didactic qualities are too advanced. My Baby Boy really has fun hitting the drums and loves the lights & music. It's his favorite toy right now. This was a great buy.My son loves this toy. Its material is very sturdy. Very educational and the volume is loud. My son dances to the music all the time. The colors are bright and very lightweight and ez 2carry along. I would highly recommend.Friday, January 17, 2014
Child's Costume, Bumblebee Tutu Costume
If you are looking at this costume though, here are some negatives:
*The back of the costume has one velcro closure at the top and the child's back is exposed for about six or so inches through a slit.
*The wings don't stay back; they flop forward
*The headband itself is fairly flimsy and does not grip the child's head well
*The feather stuff on the antennae, skirt and shoes sheds heavily.
*The little shoe fluffs don't stay on.
The costume is super cute. I got this one and the Lady Bug one by the same manufacturer for Halloween pictures. The sizes appear to run a little small for the costume. The tights seem to run true to size. We have not taken it out on any candy collecting runs, so I can't tell you how it will hold up at a party or for two or three hours of trick or treating.I bought a size 4-6T / child's small for my two year old. It was way too small. She would have needed a child's large for the sleeves and chest to fit correctly. Adorable costume though!
Buy Child's Costume, Bumblebee Tutu Costume Now
We got this for my daughter's Halloween costume. It is made really shoddy for the money. Right out of the packaging, the material around the wings was fraying and coming off. The wings were also so bent in places and nothing I did could straighten them out. This outfit also runs very small. It says it fits a 2-3 year old, and my 16 month old BARELY fit into it...and she's tall but skinny for her age. This was really cute on, and fine for 1 night, but this was nothing special for the price ($29.99).Read Best Reviews of Child's Costume, Bumblebee Tutu Costume Here
This costume was in no way a standard child size 4. It did not close in the back. It was cute well enough made for a halloween costume, and she looked adorable but sizing was way off. This costume is adorable, but too small I ordered the small (4-6) for my very slim two year old, and it barely closes.Thursday, December 12, 2013

Bounce & Giggle - Elephant
Buy Bounce & Giggle - Elephant Now
Like the othe reviews have said... the activation switch is hard to press making it impossible for baby to do (my daughter tries over and over to her disappointment). Additionally, once activated the vibration and music only last a few second then it is back to fighting with the switch. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money! My 7 month old son loves this thing... for about 8 seconds! That's the longest it vibrates for and once it is done, he seems to loose interest. It would be a lot better if it ran for a longer time when the button is pushed. My son is almost 6 months and LOVES putting the nose and ears in his mouth. The vibration must feel good on his gums. The issue is that it only vibrates in 5 second intervals. I have to keep pressing the nose over and over and over again! Cute and makes baby happy, but really annoys me!Wednesday, October 9, 2013

OK, so Barney is driving you nuts and Little Golden Books seem puerile. Go Atomic! So what if your kid is almost 3 and has yet to say "algorithm"? You've got to start somewhere. Sooner or later, kids have to learn that linoleum and formica aren't really on the Periodic Table of Elements. At least not in this parallel universe.Friday, September 13, 2013
Sassy Pull and Go Boat Bath Toy
Buy Sassy Pull and Go Boat Bath Toy Now
Not a good toy. Used it once in the tub and my son hated the high pitched squeal. The boat went relatively nowhere with a lot of effort from the tiny propellers.I would not recommend. We bought this for our 7 month old daughter thinking it would make a fun bath toy. The description says it "zips through the water" and all I can say is... yeah right. Basically you can pull the string and watch the string go back in. When in the water, the boat half sinks and barely moves at all. The only thing our daughter does with this is chew on it. What a waste! My daughter really wanted this bath toy when she saw it in a store. Package states "Pull string and watch me zoom!" Zoom? This silly thing barely moved at all. Worse still, it took on water and began listing to one side. I can't get it to right itself, either; I have tried hard to get the water out of it, but I can't get it all out. This toy is a huge disappointment. Don't waste your money.

I have 2 and 3 year old grandsons and they are enjoying these trucks. Love the books that go with them.Read Best Reviews of Chuck The Dump Truck Motorized Vehicles Here
I bought this truck for a little boy in an Adopt-A-Family program, so I was unable to get it out of the box for a super close inspection. But the truck is a nice size for the price, the size of a fist or bigger depending on the size of your hand, the perfect fit for a toddler to grip. There are no sharp edges to injure, and it's a super toddler friendly toy with bright colors and the familiar Chuck which many of your kids have probably spotted on Netflix.
The set also includes a book for your child to read which I thought was a great touch and makes this a very nice gift. So many little ones have toys and books on their Christmas list, so here's a two-in-one!
I'm happy with the purchase and confident that the little guy I bought this for will get tons of hours of fun out of it.

Fisher Price Rumble and Learn Driver with Lights and Sounds
Buy Fisher Price Rumble and Learn Driver with Lights and Sounds Now
Wow. This item was given to me by a neighbor who was moving and just getting rid of baby stuff and am I ever glad to have it. Starting at about 6 months, my baby was really into this toy. He could roll over and push the knobs and make sound like having a second jumperoo but on the floor. I also used it to help him learn to sit independently I'd prop it against a wall so he could use it to support himself as he played with it. He loves it!!! It buys me a lot of email-checking time. I'd recommend it to anyone.Read Best Reviews of Fisher Price Rumble and Learn Driver with Lights and Sounds Here
I bought this for my now 19 month old daughter several months back. I think she was around 12-14 months old. She loved playing with it & pulling the knobs, turning the steering wheel, etc. I also loved it because it was cute & fun without being annoying like so many toys are. However, within 3-4 months, it sort of stopped working. I say sort of because the "turning signals" still lit up, but nothing else. There was no sound, the steering wheel stopped vibrating when you turned it, etc. I thought it was the batteries so I replaced them & still nothing. I actually finally got around to removing the batteries or tossing it in the garbage last night. I was sad to see it go because my daughter still enjoyed playing with it even though it was mostly broken. It was also not something that was tossed around. She always played with it on the floor & is not rambunctious with her toys (thankfully!). I don't know if we just got a faulty one or whether this happens often, but you might want to check before purchasing. For the record, I did purchase it somewhere other than Amazon.Want Fisher Price Rumble and Learn Driver with Lights and Sounds Discount?
