Strawberry Shortcake Child Costume

Cute costume, but very, very thin and flimsy. The seams were loose straight out of the package. I can't let my daughter play in it before Halloween because I honestly don't think it would survive.

I'm really disappointed in the Rubies quality. I have another costume from several years ago made by Rubies and it is of MUCH better quality.

Although the price is right up there with some Disney products, it simply does not begin to compare in quality. That said, it is a very cute design and I'm sure she will be adorable in it come Halloween...just hope it doesn't fall apart hanging in the closet ;)

The manufacturer size was listed as 6-8, but it fits my three year old with very little room to spare. It is a bit flimsy, and was more expensive than I would have liked for a thin piece of rayon. The arms were very tight, and have had to be tailored to be wearable. But my little girl loves it, so as long as it holds up until Halloween, I'm happy.

Don't expect to use this costume more than once. It is very cheap. The bottom started to run the 1st time my daughter wore it. I don't know why it's doing that. She's not even pulling on it or anything. We had a lot of compliments on it but she will not be wearing it out again since it's falling apart.

I read that the sizes run too small. My daughter is 4 1/2 and I ordered a size Small and it fits just right. She is kind of tall but thin. I don't think this would fit a heavier girl.

Got this for my 3 yo daughter and she was the only Strawberry Shortcake for miles. The tights did not fit well (extremely baggy around ankles and had to roll the waistband 3x for better fit), but otherwise a total hit with non-stop compliments. Instead of buying the pink wig I just bought some pink hair-coloring spray at Wal-Mart for $3, drew some freckles with brown eye-liner and voila! Total cuteness!

This costume is so cute! I was disappointed that the one I received has a spot on the front under the strawberry and also a spot on the tights. I just looks like dirt so hopefully it will come out. The costume fits perfect but I think the tights would fit a child three times the age of mine. Overall this costume is very adorable.

I received this as a gag gift at my baby shower, but ultimately decided to try it out once my baby could hold her head up and crawl around a little. It works well as a formula feeder, although the mouth is far wider than the nipple on a standard bottle, so that wasn't too well thought out. Eventually the child drowned in formula. If I have a second child I might try this again, but since my first one didn't survive I may also just sell this on Craigslist.

Dream On Me Melody Musical Walker

I must admit, this was not my first choice. However, we have a 'healthy' baby boy that weighs 22.5 pounds and is only 7 months (barely). All of the ones I wanted to purchase had weight restrictions of 25# or 26# so it seemed kind of silly to get one of those. This one has a restriction of 30# so I figured something was better than nothing. I have no idea why it is so expensive. It is rather simple/boring....especially for the price. There are much cuter ones out there with more bells and whistles for less money. So far, he seems to enjoy it. The 3 music melodies are a little annoying but he seems entertained by it. Like most babies, he is in the habit of chewing everything and attempts to stick everything in his mouth. There are no 'fun' objects attached to the tray that allow him to do so. I have attempted to attach my own toys to the walker with rings but there are really no places to do this. He tries to gnaw on the horn/steering wheel.....kind of funny. So, if you have a 'healthy' baby and just need to find a walker to help your little one develop and grow then this is okay. If you have other options since your baby weighs less, go for something else.

This walker is very cute! I love how it looks like a car, light's up & plays music! My 6 month old daughter loves it. However the back wheels are very hard to turn. It is hard for her to move it around even on hard floors. I would not recommend this walker for "walking" because it is not able to move around very easily due to the back wheels.

When we first got this one it was hard for my son to make it go. The wheels on the back are restricted to slow your kid down but too much so. I popped off the wheel restricters and off he went!! We have tile floors downstairs so this was great. He could also get it moving on the carpet but not as easily. Just watch out if you are barefoot and your little one drives this walker over your foot it hurts!! Wear shoes or keep YOUR feet out of the way!

My son has out grown this walker now and it stores well and folds down.

"Raspberry" Rattle Teddy Bear 9"

This little bear is adorable. It has enough pink to be feminine, but also enough variation in pattern to be a little more detailed and original. We used it in a gift basket and were able to coordinate lots of varying shades of magenta, fuschia and pink, to give the overall effect a bit of whimsy. The bear was sturdy and well made. I purchased these for my 20 month old daughter to use in her tunnel/tent. I opened the package and out of the 100 balls, over half were dented in. I stopped couting at 54 of them being squished in. These are the cheapest and thinnest "non balls" I have ever seen. I would send them back if it wasnt such a pain in the butt finding packaging to send them back (I threw away packaging and placed them under the tree for Christmas when the time came). Not worth your money.

Little Tikes Pop Tunes Boom Box

My son has the older version -the blue one. I believe this one has slightly different music, but I'm sure it's still great. He got it when he was about a year old (he's 15 months now) and plays with it every single day, which is rare with all of the toys that we have. He pushes the button and dances over and over. He never really plays with the little toys on the front, he's more interested in the songs. If your child loves music and likes to dance you won't regret buying it! Really reasonably priced and by far our most used toy. Also very durable. We bought ours used, and our son is pretty rough with his toys, but besides a few little scuffs here and there it's in prefect shape. Would make a great gift too, probably for as young as 6 months and maybe even 2 and up.

This was the most popular toy in the infant room at our daughter's day care so we bought one for her at home when she was a year old. She loves it and we always laugh that it plays Smashmouth! Our one-year-old triplet granddaughters just love this gift. They love the little removable CDs, and putting them in and taking them out of the boom box. But their favorite part is the music. As soon as I got this product in the mail it was just to tiny. I mean it was small. I was so disappointed that I got a toy like this for my son. I was thinking I was going to get a big toy that stands on the floor that is at least bigger than my 12 month old. I was so wrong this was half the size of my 12 month old. I would have returned it but it was just too much of a hassle. For the price that they are selling this for it is not worth buying. I would settle for the ones you get at Target or at Toys R' Us or somewhere else for that matter. He barely even plays with this thing cause he just carries it around tossing it around cause that's how small it is. I'm just plainly dissapointed by this product.

Manhattan Toy Automoblox Wooden Car Collection

I bought the Automoblox truck for my grandson's 4th birthday. It has an instant hit. He liked that he could take the truck apart and put together another combination.

The truck body is actually 3 parts, the front end, the truck cab(body) and the truck bed, joined together by very easy to use bright green plugs. The truck puts together as shown in the images, or the cab can be eliminated to make a cute little "buggy".

This toy is very sturdy and appears to be well designed and engineered. I'll be checking with my grandson to see how well his Automoblox truck is holding up to daily play. The Automoblox information says that each Automoblox model is interchangeable with other models. So, if this model is holding up well, I will be ordering at least one of the other models for Christmas.

Caution for those with smaller children who still like to eat their toys; there are wooden people who plug into the inside of the truck cab, the toy loses very little play appeal if you tuck those away until the eating urge passes.

The only downside I can think of is that the price was a bit high. However, it does come in a very sturdy cardboard box that seems designed to create the image of an heirloom toy. I can see that happening. All in all, if the toy holds up as it appears it is designed to do, that is money well spent.

We now have three of the automoblox cars. They are a great toy and happen to be the only toy my 4 year old son hasn't lost a part of. They are easy to pull apart and put together and are sturdy. They are a tab pricy, but the fact that they have lasted as long as they have makes up for that. He enjoys having 3 of them now so that he can mix and match the parts. My babysitter is going to get more of them for all of the kids to play with.

We own two Automoblox (blue sedan and green truck) and while they are well made and nice cars to play with the idea of pulling them apart and building new cars is extremely limited with only two. The price is a serious limit on how many we can afford and two cars just doesn't create much variety.

Also, you can't just pull the end off one and place on on another -the interior connector has to be switched out, which is too tricky for 5 year old fingers. The documentation says "this offers a welcome level of complexity" but I think it just makes it needlessly difficult.

This is an exceptional toy, that combines the gross motor skill training of block, the fine motor skills training of fitting pieces together in the correct manner, and the creativity of learning how to use different pieces to make unique creations.

It's solid wood, good quality, and well-packaged. The vehicles are made in the USA, although the wood is German beech wood.

The price is a bit high, but this isn't a "mass market" toy, this is a toy that seems like it could be passed down to your kid's children. Obviously, you can tell I was very happy with the toy.

The automoblox cars are expensive, but worth the expense. I gave one to my 4-year-old grandson, and he loves it; he spends a lot of time taking it apart and putting it back together; he plays with the people and makes up stories about the people in the car. His 2-year-old brother also fell in love with this car, so I bought him an automoblox truck. Another great hit. He loves to take off the wheels and put them back on. He also loves to put the truck back inside the molded plastic container, and to fit that back into the box, which is now the "garage."

This is a simple toy, very well made, which encourages a child to do a lot of imaginative play.

Cuski Cuskiboo Lovie

Used this since my child was 3 months old and started to teethe and sleep in his own room. I slept with it for a couple days so it smelled like me-I believe this is very important for the child to attach to the Cuski. I and my husband both believed it helped tremendously with "separation anxiety" helping him to sleep through the night AND with his teething. He has never used a pacifier or his fingers for comfort. We only used the Cuski which stayed in his bed and the Sophie Giraffe which we took with us in the car and stroller. We have three now to rotate, b/c they do get dirty and my child has "chewed through" a couple as he was teething. He just finished cutting his two year molars and I hadn't even noticed it until we took him to his two year checkup and the doctor said his molars were just breaking through the skin. . . i cannot recommend this highly enough.

My son loves this! The knot at the end of the hat is perfect for him to chew on while he's teething, and it's so soft! We have 3 of them to rotate through the wash so he's always got a clean one with him.

I bought this as a transitional object when I started sleep training my 5 month old. She would hold it and play with it, but then one day I heard her gagging over the monitor. When I went in there, the 'top knot' of the cuski was down her throat. That particular part of the product is too long and skinny, and as babies tend to put everything in their mouths, it could potentially be a choking hazard. I fixed it by tying several more knots in the length, and I haven't had any problems since (5 months)

Mommy & Me Doll Stroller with Swiveling Wheels - 9302R

This and a baby doll were her favorite gifts. I thought it would be flimsy and tip Webern pushed, but it's short enough and doesn't tip. It's just like a real stroller. The wheels manouver well.

Bought this for my 18 month old when she became a big sister and has been used almost daily for about 5 months. I love it and so does she. It has the swiveling wheels which make maneuvering a lot easier for her and its a great height (she is a tall 18 month old but it would work for younger as well I think). It is pretty lightweight-definitely wouldn't work to put an actual child in it-but it works wonderful for her dolls and folds up easily and compactly so we can even take It to grandmas house. Would buy another if I had the need or as a gift. Very pleased with my purchase.

My daughters have a doll stroller that I was trying to replace because they like to push each other in the stroller, so the cloth seat is ripped. I know this is a doll stroller but I expected it to be at least as sturdy as the one we have (which came from Walmart or the dollar store) but I have just opened the box & the handle is loose & it seems like even a doll would be too much for it. I bought these for my 8-month old since she loves to "link" things together. The package arrived completely open already, so the contents and links were all over the shipping box.

After giving them to my daughter, she played with them for all of 20 seconds and had no interest since then. We've since used them to attach toys to her car seat, stroller, and walker, but other than that, they're completely useless to us. :-(

Bought this toy to hook on to my baby's stroller. Very disappointing: can't get it to hook onto the stroller (I have a graco) and it has very little play value for my 9 month old (the mirror is okay but the other piece requires much more dexterity & fine motor skills than would be normal at this age)
