My 4-month-old daughter loves this. I admit it was smaller than expected but that turns out to be perfect for a newborn and small infant. She can easily hold on to it and snuggle up next to it and I don't have to worry about her being smothered by it (I do not put her to bed with this or any soft item though). In fact, she loves to have it dragged over her face and that's how my husband elicited her first smiles.

If she becomes attached to it, I'll order several to prevent a total breakdown if it gets lost or needs washing.

This toy is small, but it is perfect for a small child. My son started sleeping with it around 7 months and loves it. He holds on to the arms and legs and it helps calm him down when he goes to sleep. Great toy. Also, since it has no stuffing in it's body, it's super easy to wash.

Our pediatrician suggested that we get our daughter a lovey when our daughter was about 4-6 months old. We thought the pink elephant was adorable and put it with her in her crib. She is now 3 years old and, wow, what a wonderful thing this elephant has been for her over her life and still is. It has brought her so much joy and comfort! She sleeps with it right next to her face, inside her fist, with her thumb in her mouth. She has spent countless hours laughing with it, chewing its talk, talking with it, snuggling with it, and sleeping with it every single night and for all naps. I looked all over for bath toys for my daughter and these were some of the cutest I found. They're the perfect size and my daughter loves chewing on them. She was 7 months when I bought them and even now months later she still loves um.

Just remember to sqeeze all the water out of them before storing or they will get meldow inside and its realy hard to get out.

I got these for my infant daughter, she started playing with them in the tub, and I noticed tiny little plastic pieces suddenly floating all over the place! The paint started coming off and there was plastic EVERYWHERE. Terrible product and not at all safe for children!

I like the bugs, they are extremely cute.

My only complaint is that I d like one day to find this kind of bath toys but not squirters. Where we live, there is always mold (no matter how often you clean your shower, does not change the problem) and mold has the bad tendency to sneak INTO any squirter and I end up throwing them away. But that s no flaw of these particular ones. I like these because they are cute and not too expensive so I can throw them away after a couple of months without remorses.

Infantino Dansy Antsy

This entertains my 6 month old because it plays a melody and the top half moves from side to side. Unfortunately it lasts only about 15 seconds so you have to constantly press the feet for the music to turn on again. We don't use it much now because its annoying to constantly press it for the music to turn on, but perhaps later on down the road she'll learn to press the feet herself to turn it on. Also, it only plays one melody (with giggling) and there is no adjustment in volume. I give it 3 stars for now and will update if my child plays with it more in the near future.

This little dancing ant gets my little dancing boy moving too. He really likes this toy. It is a very simple little toy, push his foot and he moves back and forth and plays music for a short period of time, but it's perfect for a short attention span. It is cute and a good size for little hands (my son is 11 months old)...he grabs Antsy by the antenna and drags him around. I definitely recommend this little guy!

Great toy!

It has an excellent volume for keeping parental sanity.

It has lots of little handholds for little hands.

The little dance that is does is super cute.

Our baby loved it so much, that during tummy time she started scooting, then finally crawling towards it.

The only minor drawback is because of where the on/off switch is sometimes it gets bumped into off position when getting pulled across the carpet by a wee one.

Lamaze Early Development Toy, Marina the Mermaid

It was given to me as a present and my 4 months old absolutely LOVED it. But soon I started to notice plastic fibers thinner than hair coming out of it (the stuffing I guess). It was very disappointing since I had read that lamaze is one of the few companies that have high quality products, non toxic, PVC free, lead free, etc. They should care also about what is inside the toys or use an exterior fabric with smaller pores!

I received this as a gift from a friend and my infant liked it so much I chose to buy it for my niece as well. It is a good, durable toy that has many different facets that engage children. My daughter loves the shiny, crinkly mermaid tail, while my neice loves the mermaid's floppy hair. The clip allowed me to attach it to my daughter's carseat, and my sister attached her's to an umbrella stroller. When it gets dirty I just throw it in the wash. Great toy!

This is a great baby toy. My daughter loves the texture of the hair, which is strips of fabric. She also really loves the rattling star and the mirror tail. There is a crinkle patch too but I do wish it were bigger because she loves the crinkle sound on other Lamaze toys.

K's Kids My Singing Birthday Cake Toy

The only cake with candles that the kid can light by his/her self. I got this for my daughter who has started imaginative play. Theere are 8 cake pieces that are attached with velcro, so it actually cuts into slices and my daughter gets thrilled to pur it on plates to serve it. Its very simple to light the candles, just switch on the lighter/wand then press it against the candle and it will light up, then move on to the next candle and do the same. It does no break as the cake pieces are like stuffed toys, it is easily washable too. My daughter cuts this cake several times a day. It took her a while to figure out how to light the candles with the wand. Untill then, she would press the strawberry button and it would sing the B'day song and the candle would blink by itself. But once she figured out how to light the candles, it was more fun.

Amazon had the best price at the time i bought it [ $ 30 ], whereas, other stores and websites had it for $ 50.

The cake would be fun, but like another reviewer the sound functions did not work. The candles light, which is very neat, but no sound. I emailed the manufacturer, and they say they will replace the base, but we have yet to see it. This seems like it may be a recurrent problem, so be sure that you check the product, before giving it as a gift. I assumed that it was the batteries, but replacing them had no effect.

When my almost 4 year old son requested a birthday cake toy for his birthday, I showed him many different cakes online and this is the one he chose. He was very excited to receive it and played with it with his therapist. I actually thought it was more interactive. When you press a pink strawberry button, it plays a happy birthday tune (not a song with human voice), and as soon as it finished, the candles start blinking (always 3 times). The red dog wand has a button that lights the star on top. It does not light up the candles (I guess a child is supposed to pretend that it does). What is the fun? Nevertheless, both of my boys enjoyed it. However, in less than a month of reasonable non-abusive play the sound broke. No more birthday tune. Press pink strawberry, nothing happens for several seconds and then candles blink. My non-verbal autistic son was pulling my hand towards the toy to make it work but I could not. I changed the batteries and cleaned up the contacts but no luck. Emailed the company, answered all their questions but no results. I think this toy is way overpriced for the what you get, it was a splurge for my family and I regret purchasing it. But my children enjoyed it while it worked, hence 2 stars.

Update: I emailed the company about the issue and received the replacement of the broken part (mailed from Hong Kong via registered mail). Now the sound works and my children are happy again. Regarding lighting the candles, I have to admit that I did not figure it out. When we received the replacement, I observed our therapist lighting the candles with my son and was very surprised. I asked her if the broken toy did the same and she said yes. Turns out, you have to position star very specifically on the candle and wait for several seconds which I did not do initially. So the candles do light up! She said blowing did not work. I tried today with the new working toy and I blew the candles and heard cheers! Very cool! So, the cake is really interactive! Live and learn!

Noah's Ark Soft

we LOVE this ark. most other arks are made with drab colors. this is bright and happy. i love all the matching animals. great for teaching animals and matching skills as well as imaginative play. baby loves the mirrors. my only complaint is that noah's wife's hair is made of yarn and sometimes gets caught in the sticky side of the velcro that closes up the ark's side. this certainly doesn't detract from the play value. so glad i bought this!

A great toy for ages about 5 months, or as soon as a baby can hold something in his/her hand, to preschool-kindergarten. Washable (in a pillowcase) and durable. I recommend it and the rest of this line of toys to those seeking quality toys that hold up well.

We got Noak's Ark for our little boy when he was 9 months old because the Lilliputiens toys looked so cute. It not as soft as we thought it would be but it is well made. I like the Noah's Ark theme but our son isn't really interested in playing with it, probably because it doesn't make any noises and it doesn't have any moving parts. Also, Mrs. Noah's hair and the lion's mane keeps getting caught and tangled in the velcro, which is annoying. The price was steep for a child's toy as well, maybe because it's made or designed in Europe.

The Deglingos Treasure Pouch

I purchased Jambonos the Pig treasure pouch as a Christmas present this year, because we have the full size Milkos the Cow and Klukos the Hen and love them. The little girl who received it seemed as thrilled as I hoped she'd be (this may also have been because of the money she found inside!). The quality of the whole Deglingo line cannot be beat. They are made with soft corduroy and other eclectic fabrics, giving each a unique handmade feel. This adorable pouch is just the right size for spare change, folded bills and credit cards. Or keep other trinkets, like marbles, etc. I will buy these toys again and again as gifts and will continue to add to our own collection as well.

Intex Tropical Shade Kids Pool Float

I bought this item for my 20 month old grandchild. It arrived quickly we blew it it up once and it has held all summer with near daily use. The shade or leaf is tall enough for a pretty tall child and the leg holes are a good size. The "older kids" have jumped into it ages 7-and 9 but the shade was too low for them. However it should be noted that it has taken some substantial abuse and withstood it all. I am so impressed with this pool float the price is great! What a find! I have used others in the past that have not lasted through the summer. It is now mid August and going strong! I would highly recommend it. I just can't find anything bad to write about it.

My one year old daughter received this as a gift. While she is younger than the recommended age, she is having a great time with it. She likes moving the pigs into the houses, and the wolf down the chimney. She loves to hear the story and watch while the pigs are moved and the houses are blown down. Her 3 1/2 year old brother is throughly enjoying it as well. We also love that the houses and characters all stack inside each other, so it isn't very big to store.

My 15 month old received this for Christmas and was not interested in it at all. However, my 3.5 year old can not get enough of it. I would have thought it too young for him, but apparently not. I like the toys a lot and so does my baby, but it doesn't have the necessary labels on if the plastic materials on the piggies and wolf or the cloth for the houses are baby safe, ie BPA / PVC free. They're freaking cute. I like that I can throw the houses in the wash. The lack of better labeling is across multiple major brands and products, though, so I'll fairly say that for what it is, it's very cute. I think a better industry standard may be what's need, so overall still good but not the best in safety in my opinion.

My children both love this stacking toy and spend as much time cuddling it as they do trying to pull it apart/restack it. The problem is the age range listed here (6-18 months) is totally unrealistic. The Velcro attaches so well that my son wasn't able to pull them apart until he was almost 3! So it's a fun toy, but don't expect your 6 month old to be able to separate the pieces without adult assistance.

Lilliputiens Walter Dragon Rattle

This was a present for my 6 month old baby from a dear friend. Initially he just looked at it but when we shook it the giggles erupted. He kept grabbing it and squeezing to repeat the crazy sound. It is durable and I can see this lasting him for quite some time.
