These swings are incredible. They are very sturdy and are of very good quality. My kids love it and I feel good swinging them with this product. After doing a lot of research out there on these swings these were a good buy too. Highly recommended.

3 Years Later sitting in all kinds of weather, and these are still in the shape they were when I bought them. The color hasn't even faded. Unfortunately I no longer need them, however I'm amazed of how they've stood up with the different climate changes. I recommend this product!

The swing is perfect. Purchased for my toddler. She's very independent, so I thought she may not like getting into the swing; but once she tried it she was hooked. She loves the swing. I think it makes her feel more secure, she just seems to be able to enjoy herself more than on the regular swing. Which makes mom extremely happy. I love the swing, it's durable and it looks great on her play set. If I had another toddler, I'd purchase another one.

Since this swing arrived, my daughter wants to play in it every day. We love it. It is easy to fit a chain onto and hang up on our swingset. There was hardly any work involved. Just make sure you know that you'll need your own chains. Also, there was a mishap in the shipping process. After I contacted customer service I was kept in constant communication with them about the issue. First they sent me emails regarding what had happened (Fed Ex's fault--not theirs by the way), then they offered to refund or ship out another seat. We opted for the re-shipment and they gave us a new tracking number--it arrived within 2 days. Very satisfied.

Galt Pop Up Toy

It is unfortunate that I am forced to give this toy a one-star review after all, it provided great entertainment for my baby until I realized that the paint on the little pop up sticks was chipping off into his mouth. This happened the first time my son played with this toy, and within 2-3 minutes there were paint chips on his face and in his mouth. I will not be letting him play with this again. Let's face it, this is a toy for babies (12 months and up), and babies put everything in their mouths. With all of the worry regarding lead-infused children's toys, you would think that Galt would construct a better product. I have attempted to contact the manufacturer, but haven't been successful. I felt compelled to review this toy to warn other parents considering purchasing it for their babies.

This is the gift we give to 1 year olds. It has fabulous staying power. One year olds are fascinated by getting the pegs in the holes. As kids get older, they learn the difference between pegs being upside down and right-side up, the faces on the pegs facing all the same way, and then they start to match them up by color. Of course, the "boing" factor is fun for everyone (including grandparents). I have 4-year-olds at my house who like to play with this toy.

I purchased this for my son who is currently 11 months old... Right now he doesn't really know what to make of it and just blinks rapidly when the little figures pop out of the base... I can totally see him growing into this though since I find it amusing myself. It is such a nice, simple little toy. I bought these for my 5 mos. old daughter and for a 5 to 7 mos. old I think they are kind of big, but once they can easily hold them they are great. My 10 mos. daughter who now has two teeth loves them. I keep one in the stroller, and one in the diaper bag. I think she likes the foot slightly better, but she does play with the hand too.

Okay. I bought this for dd b/c she is an early teether but she couldn't manipulate it very well until now, almost 5 months. The hand is nice but still too thick/big for real little ones. Unfotunately there really isn't much out there for early teethers. This will work.

My 3 year old son had a blast trick or treating on Halloween and, I'm sure, will continue to wear throughout the year (as a play costume/dress up clothes).

This is an adorable costume. It's high quality and looks to be very durable. Only problem we had was my toddler refused to wear it. The shell is heavy enough it tugs on the neck, and the headpiece is great, but the elastic around the face can be a bit irritating. If your child isn't picky about stuff like that, go for it. I loved it for the 5-10 minutes he would actually wear it :)

I am really rating my experience with Amazon on this transaction and the quality of RUBIES costumes. We were unable to use the costume yet (see below) but it looks cute!

Just received the costume from Amazon and it was MISSING the entire head piece. It was clear that the packaging had been opened so who knows where it is? There was not even an invoice or packing slip included in the box to enable me to return it easily, so I had to go back online and figure out how to print it all. Really Amazon? Could someone at least LOOK at the product and box before you mailed it out? Also, we ordered the TODDLER size for my almost 3 year old. He wears a 2 or 3T in clothing, and the Toddler size says it fits sizes 2-4??? It was WAY too small. We are taking a chance and reordering the SMALL size and HOPEFULLY it will contain all pieces. We had a similiar issue with a Star Wars costume we ordered from another company that was also made by RUBIES. The helmet was really messed up and POOR POOR quality for the price and basically not usable. Overall, I am not impressed with this costume company either.

Little Mommy: Your Childs First Doll - Pink shirt and pink-striped pants

My three-year-old has had this doll since she was about 19 months old. She had been sleeping with a random baby doll in her crib for a while, but we didn't think much about it until we took a trip. We didn't bring a doll. The first night, she cried all night long--"Baby, baby, baby." It was pathetic. The next day I took her to the store to find a baby for her. When we entered the baby doll aisle, she was ecstatic. "Baby! Baby! Baby!" She was excited by all of them, but when she saw this one her reaction was different. A gasp followed by a serious, solemn, "Baaaay-beeee..." while desperately reaching for it. She tried to hug it, still in the box, all the way to the checkout. After paying I went to the customer service counter to borrow scissors so I could get it out of the box for her right away!

This doll has been her constant companion ever since. She won't go to sleep without it, and doesn't like to leave the house without it. It is very, very slightly scented, just a faint baby powder smell, which is kind of nice. You can't smell it unless you're holding it really close to your face. It doesn't do ANYTHING, which actually means that it CAN do anything since she can use her imagination! The doll's mouth is slightly open which she loves, since it lets her give it a bottle or pretend to feed it. The doll's body is very soft and squishy (huggable), and it has "beans" in its bottom which helps it sit up. It doesn't sit well on its own, but it at least helps keep it upright in a doll's highchair or stroller. The head, arms and legs are a soft plastic and are very well attached to the cloth body. It's just the right size for a little one to hug, hold and take care of. The doll's body isn't really showing any signs of wear. A bit of the "paint" has come off the face on the upper lip where I think my daughter rubbed the face into the wall (while sleeping, or supposed to be) too many times.

The clothes (hers came in a pink and white sleeper) have gotten kind of ratty after all this time. I have machine-washed them many times and they come through okay, but they've now gotten kind of pilled and the velcro doesn't hold so well anymore. I swear I saw clothes for this doll at the store not long ago, but haven't been able to find them recently. Wish I'd gotten them when I saw them!

This is an absolutely perfect doll for a little one. There are lots of accessories for it now, too. If we didn't already have a different doll highchair and stroller I'd get the Little Mommy ones so they'd fit the doll perfectly. It doesn't sit up well in the highchair we have, as it's made for bigger dolls. I think my daughter will probably continue to play with (and sleep with) this doll for several more years, and I think the doll will hold up to anything she can do to it. I just hope I can find some more clothes for it!

Edited: it's now a year and a half later, and "Baby" is still going strong and is still my daughter's favorite and constant companion.

My daughter (15 months) literally started running in place with excitement when she opened this baby doll, which was a gift from my best friend. I've NEVER seen her react like this to any gift. My daughter has continued to bring this baby doll around with her everywhere--usually she just ditches her toys and plays with the tupperware. The doll has a soft, squishy body that makes her cuddley despite the fact that she has, as my husband is constantly saying, "a hard plastic head."

My little girl received this doll at age 14 months and it was her favorite right away. Now at 20 months she plays with her every day and loves her so much. One of the best purchases I've made so far. My only complaint would be that the clothes are really worn out after only a few washings, but I did find clothes at my local toys r us for 5 dollars per outfit. Other than that, no problems with this doll. Can't beat the price!

Rasta Imposta Tootsie Roll Bunting

I had read many reviews before purchasing this costume for my 6 month old grandson. Many of those reviews were negative saying the neck was too tight or the face opening was too small or the lettering "bled" onto the fabric. I decided to take a chance and order the costume anyway. . . . and boy I'm glad I did! I found none of these were true! My grandson weighs almost 20 pounds and the costume fit perfectly! He even wore a hooded coat under it! (The costume would have, also, fit smaller infants just as nicely). I had no problems putting it over his head and the face hole was "stretchy" and fit very nicely around his face. The fabric was soft and comfortable and the lettering was clean. He looked so adorable! I am very pleased with this product! Love this costume!

The size says 0-6 months but it's HUGE! I intended to have my 2 month old wear it for her first Halloween and it was far too large. At the rate my LO is growing I don't think she'd be big enough for it by 6 months and I've never met a baby that would fit this costume at that age either.

I bought this costume for my 4-month old son who is around 30th percentile for height and weight. It fit him beautifully. We didn't have the head-fit issues that other reviewers noted. I'm not sure if they are making the head hole bigger now or if my son's head was smaller than other kids'. Overall this is a very cute costume and is very soft to the touch, unlike many of the cheap plastic costumes that are usually made for kids.

Fisher Price Stack 'n Surprise Blocks - Peek-a-Boo Bee

We received this toy as a gift for our son. I quickly scanned the packaging for an indication that the toy was free of BPA and phthalates but could find nothing to indicate that this was the case. I called Fisher Price/Mattel but was told that they did not have any specific information about this particular toy, instead they were happy to read me two separate scripts addressing Fisher Price/Mattel's use and safety of BPA (they DO use BPA in the manufacturing process of some of their toys)and phthalates (Same speech "If we do use them, they are perfectly safe...yada yada yada"). We are, of course, returning this toy and will be getting rid of any other Fisher Price toys that we have, as our son likes to put everything right in his mouth.

These were the first peek-a-boo blocks I got for my baby at 6 months. She loved to watch the face pop up. It 19 months now she still enjoys stacking them and adding them to the other toys that have these type of blocks. They were great to keep her busy in the car and at the restaurant because they are so small, colorful and don't make noise that will bother other people. Great toy if you're not sure what to get a baby in this age group.

Lamaze Morgan The Monkey Link Set

I found these cheaply at Farm and Fleet. My baby likes to chew on the monkey sometimes and it is light enough (without the links) for even a very young baby to lift and hold. The links are very high quality, interesting visually with different textures and, of course, also lightweight. An older baby/toddler might also enjoy attaching the links to the monkey in different configurations, since the ears are big enough to put a link or two in each.

Our daughter loves these links. The links make great teethers with all the different textures. I gave it 4-stars because it is a little pricey for one small toy.

We got one of these for our three year old before a long trip. I didn't want to be hauling all of his bedtime gear around with us. On our vacation we only took this sleeping bag and his favorite blankey. Our little boy loves "Puppy." The actual puppy is very soft and cushy and truly does make a great pillow. The only thing that I found a bit disappointing was the sleeping bag part. The fleece isn't very plush and definitely doesn't look as soft or a sleek as the material pictured. All in all, though, we do enjoy the product.

This is the best infant hanging toy I've seen, and my children seem to agree.

First, this is a good "toy" even for infants who aren't really reaching and grabbing yet, but just looking. Each of the octopus's eight legs has a different color and texture. Viewed from below, there's still a lot of interest going on. Also, once your child is coordinated enough to flail her arms, she'll come into contact with all of the different textures. Then you can talk about how she's holding the "pink fleece" leg and "isn't it soft" etc. This toy presents you and your baby with a lot of teachable moments.

The red neck ruffle is satiny and crinkly. The big head has a rattle inside. These features are good for an older baby (if you have it over a play yard, it can be difficult to put a sleeping baby in without it making noise--and on older infant might rattle it by accident and startle herself), since she'll be able to practice cause and effect and learn how to influence her world.

We got the best smiles from my older child as he learned that he could grab the red ruffle and make his favorite crinkling sound. He also seemed to like the yellow head an smiley face. My second child seemed to prefer grabbing the legs, especially the slippery ones.

I figured they'd both be done with the toy after it hung above their play yards when they were very young, then hooked onto the handle of their car seat when they were older infants, but that wasn't the case. Once they were mobile, they each crawled to it on the floor, to remember old times, I guess. My older child was pretty much done with it by the time he was a year old, but when his younger brother was born, it was one of the first toys he brought to him.

This toy will look gigantic next to your newborn. Just remember that they grow fast (babies, not toys) and that it'll soon seem more like the right size. By the time your baby is grabbing, it won't be too big at all.

We used Boomerings to attach the octopus to things--and the rings are good toys in themselves. If your sitting baby has grown out of the octopus, but really liked it, you might want to get the same company's Shaker Weights. They're also brightly-colored and open up lots of teachable moments.

Bottom line: This is the best infant mobile and tactile (young) baby toy we've found.

This toy for the 0-1 year old crowd has it all. It has a simple face, sound, textures, colors, and is easy to grasp for little hands.

B. Zany Zoo

Great toy. Helps with coordination, counting, alphabet, etc. Bought this for my 1yr old and she still loves it at 2. Very entertaining when I reintroduce it to her as new. I got mine from target and it cost under $50. They are overcharging here on Amazon!!! My little one never got her hand stuck in this. (Hopefully she never will.)

Our 8-month-old son outgrew his favorite toy (the Fisher-Price Jumperoo) about a month ago. His increased mobility meant the Jumperoo felt more constricting than freeing, and we'd been having trouble finding a new toy to fill the void left in the Jumperoo's disuse. We stumbled across this on accident and bought it because it reminded us of several toys we'd loved in childhood, with the added bonus they were all rolled into one.

We cannot stress how much our son loves this toy. Each face has something different for him to explore. When he's finished with one side for the time being, he'll move around to other sides or the top to keep the amusement coming. Even as I type, he's busy banging closed the doors on one side of the cube.

The top is easily the best part for both us and our son. David's had a fabulous time using it not only to stand but to figure out, finally, how to fall into a sit. The day before yesterday, he literally giggled the whole time he practiced sitting for an hour. More practice yesterday and he's both a falling and a sitting pro. Note, as another reviewer mentioned, you DO have to sit close by, because the wrong lean *can* lead it to tip for a not-yet-autonomous stander. This happens in maybe a quarter probably a high estimate of our son's stands so far.

Then there's all the fun in pushing the top toys along their preset paths along the top. The bridges encourages him to figure out movement under and on both sides of each bridge. This is in addition to watching him explore both pushing animals (and beads!) along their path and figuring out how to rotate them in circles where they stand.

We're amazed how much fun and challenge can be fit into one single cube. This is beautifully designed, aesthetically pleasing, free from sharp corners and overall an amazing toy. We're honestly trying to think who else we can buy one of these for! The temptation is rather strong to just play with it ourselves.

If only we'd had this as children! :)

Parental supervision required AT ALL TIMES! It appears that there are different configurations of this toy. I got the version which has a side with nine triangular rotating blocks (three animals on each vertical set while the horizontal blocks have different the animal's head, body, and feet). The first time my 1 y.o son played with it, he got his hands stuck in between these blocks. B zany really should make the blocks larger or add bars to block these gaps. Other than that I think this toy is very educational and great for developing fine motor skills, parents please watch your children with this toy!

My 10 mo daughter LOVES this toy cube. She's not the most easily entertained baby (she'll never make it into a YouTube video squealing with delight over ripped paper or a sneeze, for example), but this thing made her giggle and jump up and down from the moment it hit the floor (in the box, no less). Her favorite thing to do (since she was 2 or 3 months old) is to stand and this toy is perfect for her to stand and play at the same time. She's just starting to stand unassisted and I really think this will help her gain confidence.

She loves the beads on top (and the little animals), but her favorite thing to do is to open and close the doors on one of the sides of the toy. She loves the toy and I love watching her love it!

I'm not a huge fan of the earthy colors, but it is still a very attractive toy. Ours seems very well constructed and I expect it to last for years and years -long enough for us to store it away to give to our daughter for her kids, I bet. I don't doubt some folks have had some quality issues, but the one we have looks about as good as I could hope for a toy to look.

One of my favorite features of this thing is the rounded corners on the top of the cube as well as on the doors. No toy is perfectly safe, but this one looks like it is designed with some care and attention to detail.

We got this toy for my daughter when she turned 9 months. She started walking at the same time so we were having a hard time with all other toys that she could take with her. she tends to trip easily because she is tiny and with a toy in her hands she is not paying much attention to her balance. I got this for my 1-yr-old, who cried every time we put her on it. We put it in a corner and let it sit there quietly for a few months to see if she might grow into it. Around 16 months, she ventured onto it again, and she absolutely loved it! She laughs while she rocks and rocks. At 21 months now, she puts a tutu over her head and pretends she's got a cape on, and it flies while she rides. It's a hoot.

The box said for ages 1-3, and I would say that means for ages 1 and 2. My 3-yr-old is petite, but too large for the horse.

Also, the design is very stable, but my little one flipped it backwards a couple times. She's awfully vigorous, though, so I wouldn't think that happens for most kids.

Bought for my grandson. My husband and I were able to put together. I like that it is a bouncer as well as a rocker.

My 18 month old loves this horse. He did not ride it at first when I purchased it for his first birthday. I think the noises kinda had him freaked out a little but he soon overcame that and just loves to bounce and rock. I have to take him off of it. You must have GOOD batteries for this toy. I recommend buying rechargeable ones. This toy is also motion sensitive. You can walk by it and makes noise. Doesnt even have to be touched.

My daughter lovers her rocking horse. She plays on it all the time. The only thing I don't like about it is how hard it is to rock on carpet. It may be the rug it is on but I found it much easier to rock on a hard surface, like tile.

My 12 month old loves it. He is a little afraid of the sound, but loves that fact that it rocks and bounces. This is a great first horse for a baby. Based on how he likes this, I will probably purchase a larger one when he outgrows this one. Enjoy.

Moulin Roty Les Zazou Plush Doll

I love this cat that I got for my daughter and I wouldn't subtract a star for the dimensions, but... since they weren't included in the description I had been imagining these toys a bit bigger. Especially for the price, you'd think you would get a more substantial toy, but oh well. For anyone interested in the dimensions, the kitty is just over 7 inches when sitting and it's just over 12 inches total from head to toe. I'll post pics with a ruler for a reference if anyone wants to see what this toy really looks like in person. Anyway, it's still super-soft and it's filled with little plastic (I'm assuming) beads so it has a fun feel to it if you're getting it for a baby. I really love the neutral expression on the kitty's face too, it's so cute! I guess it doesn't really matter what I think though, the recipient is the one who should be the most excited with this cat and in my case she was! I bought this for my 9-month-old daughter and she has been captivated by it since I took it out of the (awesome) box. She smiles at it and snuggles face-to-face with it, it's the most cuddly she's ever been with a toy before. I still do wish it were a bit bigger, but I'm not a toy designer, so what do I know? Lol. It's still a high-quality stuffed animal and that is apparent as soon as you see it, so I'd recommend it for anyone looking to find their baby a special lovie or perhaps for someone looking to buy a nice gift.

I bought this lovely doll for my son (4 years old), who loves lions. He was so excited when he saw the doll, and cuddles with it at night time ever since. The doll is very soft and cuddly, naïve in a good way, and has good proportions. Its colors are nice and calm, and in my opinion, it's a very aesthetic doll. I didn't try to wash it yet, but I love the fact it is machine washable.
