I was very happy with this little theater. It is low and wide, and the base is sturdy, unlike many that are tall and top heavy and forever tipping over. I also like the shelf inside to store puppets. Its the perfect size for a 3 year old to kneel behind or an older child to sit behind. Two kids could easily fit behind as well. It is well made, but does not fold, however it is not very deep and sotres out of the way against the wall in the playroom.

This, unlike many toys like it, does not tip over when he stands up behind it and takes a licking and keeps on ticking. It helped my son learn how to walk with confidence and I strongly recommend it over other push/pull ride on combo toys. The tool box and blocks were an added bonus to an already great toy.

This product was bought as a Christmas gift for my young son. Not only did he immediately take to the toy but so did my many young cousins. It was very cute to watch. Kids can ride on it, use the tools, and stash their goodies in the toolbox that attaches to the back of the truck. We have used it both indoors and out.

Our son is 18 months and LOVES trucks. But this is not a good toy. He is already losing interest in this, after just a week. The wheels barely turn, the steering handle is awkward and it is bulky and wide, making it both hard to steer and hard to get on and off. The whole thing seems very cheap. And the sounds just drive us crazy (although he does like that part of it). Overall, not a good purchase.

HABA Wooden Blocks are a favourite in our home. They are a lovely quality, precision cut for building perfect structures. An heirloom quality that will outlast my children's rough pay and live to see grandchildren and great grandchildren. In all honesty every once and a while you will come across a piece that may have a little bit of a rough edge. When this happens we use a 400 grit sand paper and a few quick swipes ensures that the edge is satin smooth. Wooden blocks are a wonderful toy for open ended creative play and I highly recommend the HABA brand.

Baby Smartronics Animal Quartet Piano

My son loves anything with flashing lights and music. This toy has both of these things and more! It teaches them shapes, colors, letters and numbers. He's been fascinated with it ever since we got it 3 months ago. He's now 9 months old. We (the parents) still love to play with it! There are so many options and different ways to compose music, so you'll never get bored with it. When you move the animals up and down they make noises in notes going up and down. We always laugh when we move the cat up and down and up and down as we get him to sing "Meow, meow, meow, meow" in high and low ascending and descending notes. It's hard to describe but once you hear it, you'll understand. I agree with the other person that the paint has easily scratched off around the mirror. I also worry that the animal figures moving up and down seem to be getting a little more wobbly the more we use it, but I don't think there are any safety concerns with this toy. I always try to find toys that I can get a lot of mileage out of (that are versatile, creative and will keep his interest for a long time). This toy definately meets those criteria. My son plays with this piano every day of the week! It's definately worth the money and beats any other toy piano currently on the market.

This is one of the few electronic toys I have unqualified praise for.

To teach our children about music at a very early age is one of the best things we can do for them. Aside from the hours of pleasure, learning techniques and pitches will stand them in good stead in later years. This piano has several innovative features which I have not seen on any other children's keyboards. The first (which is a double-edged sword) is that the notes don't go up in tones, but in thirds. Where we would normally see the black notes are the notes in between. This could be confusing as a child starts to learn a standard keyboard, but the advantage is that when babies bash the notes indiscriminately it sounds quite harmonious, playing chords instead of discords. A great relief for parents :-)

The second innovation is the sliders along the top, each with an animal holding an instrument. These work as sliders do in a recording studio, allowing baby to make each instrument louder or softer, or even to play just the saxophone part of each song. This helps them understand how the music is pieced together and to see how recording of music works. Excellent. There is also a spoken word setting, in which the sliders play animal noises, and the note keys say letters and numbers, but this is much less important than the keyboard. A well made, enjoyable, educational toy which will delight your little one for many months

My daughter received the Fisher Price Animal Band Piano as a 1st birthday gift. I was pleasantly surprised with this toy to say the least! After I played with it myself (for a few hours at that!), I realized how innovative this toy was! First, the 4 animals each represent a different instrument (they are pictured with that instrument). You can slide the animals up and down just like a real "mixer". There are 4 pre-set songs and the best thing about this is that you can play along on the piano with the "accompaniment" and the melody will NOT play while you are playing! How cool! On the same lines, with each of the 4 songs, the key changes (including the key represented by the actual keyboard keys) so that you are always playing in tune with the song that is playing! Another amazingly innovative perk that you might not notice until you spent some time with it yourself! Maybe the fact that I myself am a musician makes me a little biased in favor of such a musically creative toy, but my now 18 month old daughter still considers this toy one of her favorites and dances right along with the pre-set songs.

The only negative I can see in this toy is with respect to the lack of clarity of the speaking voice (in ABC/123 mode). I also though it odd that a toy geared toward this age would designate the primate as an "ape" rather than a "monkey" (as most kids this age will identify any primates as monkeys not apes), but that's a minor point.

All in all this toy is extremely enjoyable (both for the adult and the child), innovative, engaging, and fairly educational. The Fisher Price Animal Band Piano is easily one of my top 5 favorite children's toys (both for my daughter and for myself!).

This really is an amazing toy. Our favorite feature is the melody buttons, because the music is pleasant and fun, but not too loud (and it's so cute to see our 15 month old daughter dance around). It's very durable it's been repeatedly stepped on and thrown, and it still works great. I also like it because it actually works like a keyboard/piano, which helps to teach cause and effect. And best of all, it has a volume switch on the back, as well as an on/off switch on the front! I highly recommend this toy.

The only negative thing to say about this bunny is that it is traumatic when the bunny needs to be washed, as my daughter loves her Wubby so much.

When bought, there were no dimensions listed in the product description which should have raised a red flag for me. When it arrived, I was very disappointed with the size, which was puny for the cost. I'd estimate that an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper is quite larger than this item. Definitely not worth the cost or quality.

VTech - Nursery Rhyme Rockin' Cube

This is a pretty entertaining toy. Has several tunes, giggles and lights. There is one control (pull, push, twist etc) on each of the four sides and the top. The art on the sides is also catchy. The best part is the the whole cube shakes and moves and my kid loves seeing it come towards him.

It is not as big as it looks. It is very much portable. I gave it only four starts because it would have been nicer if it had more of the rhymes instead of just one line of each rhyme.

my son isn't old enough to play with this himself yet, but he loves to watch it move & sing. It is great how each side of the block has a different nursery rhyme song & exposes the child to different skills (turn, pull, push, lift). I love this and so does my son. it's great too because it lights up & all babies love lights!

My 6 months old had fun with this toy for the first two to three weeks. Once the batteries start to weaken, the "noise" of the motor tends to exceed the music which makes it annoying to the child as well as parents. It was dead in three weeks and the fault was not with the batteries. I should mention that we bought a lot of Vtech toys and this was the only one that disappointed us. Not recommended.

I got this toy because it was on clearance, but it was a waste. It did entertain my son, but it is pretty annoying. We ended up packing it away because we didn't like listening to it. It doesn't really do anything except play music. The "rocking" feature is really dumb.

This toy is just OK. I love the colors and the soft sides are great. It's weird how it only sings the first verse of two songs (unless you pull on the clock or press the sheep to play their song) There really isnt much to it, but my 7 month old son does enjoy it. Maybe the point is that babies dont have the attention span for more than a verse at a time. Its annoying for adults, but great for babies!

Tolo Toys First Friends Tractor Trailer

I bought this for my 16-months-old son for Christmas. He loves anything that has four wheels on it. This tractor and trailer set is a pretty good size. Bigger than what I expected. It consists of four individual parts: tractor, trailer, farmer, and cow. The design is very attractive and child appropriate. The materials are very sturdy. My son has been playing with this every day since Christmas, and he has been throwing it around on occasion, but nothing broke off or is damaged yet. The sound effects are great, but they are LOUD. My son doesn't seem to mind, though. He uses the trailer to haul his Lego's and other toys around. He always gets excited when the tractor starts taking off and drives away. The farmer and cow have doubled as chew toys for my teething toddler, but I haven't seen any teeth marks on them. Good quality materials. The set came with a battery, so my son was able to play with this right out of the box. Nice. Overall, I am very pleased with this toy. I would consider buying other Tolo products in the future.

Tolo toys are generally extremely well-made. They are usually absolutely worth the money. This one is a good example: it is beautifully made, very fun and my son still loves it 6 months after it was given to him for Christmas (that's saying something). The yellow tractor beep-beeps, revs its motor, shines his headlights and drives about five-six feet. The little farmer is posable, and it comes with a great Tolo cow (a Tolo cow named "moo" was my son's first Tolo toy, and he still likes it a lot). He is two right now, and "my tractor!" is one of his favorite toys.

I have had this toy for about 5-6 months now. My toddler still loves playing with it. She likes to see the tractor pull the cart. It has held up well. I have several Tolo Toys, and from my experience they are very well made and stand the test of time. They are much more durable and sturdy than other plastic toys they have.

We got this for our daughter for her 2nd birthday and she loves it (so does our 3 yr old boy :) They love to lay in front of her and ask her to crawl to them. It is adorable. She does crawl on her hands a knees. It isn't fast, but it is a toy for toddlers. Also, who cares if Ariel shouldn't have legs as a baby?! Although this is a Washmitt Set, I purchased them for my two-year-old granddaughter to play with as puppets. She loves them!! Rasta Imposta Dumb and Dumber Lloyd Christmas Tuxedo Costume

This outfit was great and people loved it. However, it was not as pictured. In the photos you see a very refined, suit like outfit, with great looking pants & cane. In reality all you get is a very thin polyurethane outfit, which comes very wrinkled (and tags stating you can't iron it!). There is no cane, and the hat was crumbled. The suit pants you see in photos are not what you ge in the package. My fiance was able to iron it out using a wet towel so that it looked presentable.

Looks good...felt great. Was a HUGE hit at the three halloween parties i went to.

I dind't use the hat, b/c i actually cut my hair to look like lloyd christmas. (Which i reccomend doing....in the movie, lloyd doesnt wear a hat much. Peopel recognize him by his hair, mang.)

Noah's Ark Soft

we LOVE this ark. most other arks are made with drab colors. this is bright and happy. i love all the matching animals. great for teaching animals and matching skills as well as imaginative play. baby loves the mirrors. my only complaint is that noah's wife's hair is made of yarn and sometimes gets caught in the sticky side of the velcro that closes up the ark's side. this certainly doesn't detract from the play value. so glad i bought this!

A great toy for ages about 5 months, or as soon as a baby can hold something in his/her hand, to preschool-kindergarten. Washable (in a pillowcase) and durable. I recommend it and the rest of this line of toys to those seeking quality toys that hold up well.

We got Noak's Ark for our little boy when he was 9 months old because the Lilliputiens toys looked so cute. It not as soft as we thought it would be but it is well made. I like the Noah's Ark theme but our son isn't really interested in playing with it, probably because it doesn't make any noises and it doesn't have any moving parts. Also, Mrs. Noah's hair and the lion's mane keeps getting caught and tangled in the velcro, which is annoying. The price was steep for a child's toy as well, maybe because it's made or designed in Europe.

Eviltron

I bought a couple of these to try it out,but thinking they wouldn't work as well as advertised. Well, they work, and they are great. I had one co-worker tear apart his office (I helped him out) and reach a point that he started to scream out "I hear you @**hole..." every 5 minutes or so (i also told a couple people nearby to say that they didn't hear a thing if he asked). Now we have on in the men's room, and one in a conference room making people jump and question their sanity.

Being a gadget guy I bought this to use on my unsuspecting spouse but she was home when it was delivered. So I planted it in a office at work. I set it to "Hey, can you hear me?" The result exceeded all expectations. The victim was positive something supernatural was communicating with him. Actually ran down the hall freaking out. It motivated him to clean his office and gather coworkers to assure him others could hear it. Before the eviltron was found out Tec. Support guy suggested he go to church more often. It took him 2 days to find it. I told him he now has to prank someone else with it. My only regret is I did not catch him on video.

I really want the next generation to enable recording of custom sounds. I would use:

"I said, can you hear me?"

"I saw what you did"

A copy of the victim's ring tone

"I can see you, go back to sleep"

I stuck mine behind a radiator (that was off) and set it to: "Hey, Can You Hear Me?" in a whisper voice. Well, I naturally don't have good hearing so, everytime he asked me about it, I replied with a straight face, "Hear What?" to which he said, "That Voice! I hear, Hey, Can you hear me?"

After accusing everyone in the room... outside the room... and people who he knew weren't fond of him, he started to pick up the phone to see if they were on there... He tried answering the voice, maybe they were stuck in the wall?... he then came to the conclusion that it was a remote control device that someone was setting off. He scoured the room for the sounding box but could not find it.

Well, after a couple of days, I broke my straight face and showed it to him and he found it to be mildly amusing.

Word of this got around to everyone and we all had a good laugh.

Not recomended for employees/boss's with no sesne of humor, people who get irritated and then become irate very easily. People with medical conditions, hear voices already, or believing in ghosts or are paranoid by nature, wouldn't be good victims as when they find out the joker was you, it may not end well for the joker... that'd be you, unless you can blame it on a compulsive agree-er. :)

UPDATE 12/13/11:

Holy Crap. So. I got another unit shipped from Amazon. I turned it on and it worked right away. I never left it on to hear the repeat function actually work before deployment though. More on that later.

My family went up to visit my Sister and her boyfriend before Christmas a few days ago. I brought along the Eviltron with me hoping to deploy this against my unsuspecting sibling and her boyfriend.

Upon arriving, I started scouting out deployment locations. Bathroom pipe? No. Behind the refrigerator? No. Under their bed attached to the bed frame? YES!

I activated the Eviltron, clicked through until I heard the "Hey, Can you hear me?" sound and stuck it under their bed. Then I waited. I could not hear it again! Granted, the sound volume is low, and there was a lot of kids running around screaming, but still I heard nothing. I re-deployed it maybe three times. Figuring maybe I'd gotten another defective unit, we left that night disappointed. I left it stuck to the bed frame right near the edge. I figured that next time we were over I'd try again with a new unit.

That night went by. No call.

The next day went by. No call.

Today? CALL

My sister calls me and tells me that they found my little gadget. She says, "Do you want to hear how it went down?" Of course!!!!

Here's a summary of what happened:

Shortly after we left, they hear a noise. Then they hear it again...and again.

They have no idea what it's saying. They're thinking something is haunted in their apartment. Then they hear it clearly say "Hey, Can you hear me?"

Thinking that one of my kids may have left a toy on their bed, they pull the sheets off (and find nothing.) They still hear the voice.

Then they look under the bed, nothing there.

They pull off the mattress. They're getting freaked out now.

They pull off the box spring. Nothing there. Her boyfriend thinks he hears the voice coming from the box spring.

HE CUTS OPEN THE BOX SPRING AND LOOKS AROUND WITH A FLASHLIGHT!!!!!. Nothing. More freaking out.

My sister picks up the bed frame and shakes it hard....yet Eviltron does not fall off.

Then they're thinking the voice is coming from inside the wood floor. They start thinking about how to pull a floor board up.

My sister goes to call her apartment manager and just happens to search Google for the phrase "Hey, can you hear me?"

She sees the Eviltron online and goes back to look again. He finds and disables the little devil this time.

Her boyfriend is pissed that he cut open his box spring.

I had to offer to either replace the box spring or take them out to dinner on us.

Bottom line is that this thing is AWESOME!!!!! Just be careful with whom and where you deploy it if you're not able to monitor the insanity yourself. In the end, this thing was an awesome prank, but it's costing me a lot more than the initial $10! :-)

Original Review:

I ordered an Eviltron fulfilled by Amazon.

It came promptly and undamaged.

I pulled out the power tab and the Eviltron activated....then it stopped making sound when the button was pressed. I even tried a new battery.

The box says that you may have to press down on the battery to get it to seat properly. I pressed and pressed and pressed to no avail.

It never worked again.

The good news is that this little guy is on it's way back to Amazon and a new one should be here tomorrow. Assuming I get one that actually works, I'll update my review at that time.

This thing could be "eviler" if it was just a bit louder and it would be awesome if it had a volume control.

Over all this thing as a ton of potential to drive someone completely insane. It's very small and easy to hide. With a well thought out hiding place this would be nearly impossible to locate.

The downside is, it's just too quiet and the sound is lost with any level of background noise.

I work in a pretty loud office and we stuck this to one of our office workers desk chairs (under his seat). The Eviltron has been doing it's thing for about 8 hours... I sit about 12 feet away from the "victim" and I haven't heard it go off at all, and sadly the victim hasn't seemed to hear it either and he is sitting on it. (for the record, he is sitting above it it's magnetically stuck to the bottom of his chair and nothing is obstructing the speaker).

This would be good for a bedroom, where it's completely quiet as you doze off... but unless you work in a library, this just won't cut it in an office environment.

I will let the Eviltron continue to do it's thing and update this if our victim starts twitching...

**Day 2**

Half way though the 2nd day of the experiment, another co-worker inquired to our "victim" about a weird "noise". The victim then gushed something along the line of "I'm so glad you heard that, I thought I was going crazy.."

I have upgraded my "star" review of this product to 4 from 3. Once our victim starts freaking out and getting the rest of the office involved I'll upgrade to level 5.

**Day 3**

Our "victim" has suspected that someone (mainly me) is screwing with him. He has repeatedly asked me if I have done "something", so far I have been able to redirect his accusations by pretty much just changing the subject or acting like I am too busy to talk about phantom noises.

One concern is the Eviltron is generating it's noise on a regular intervals (3 min and 45 secs) our "victim" has set his watch to it. He has also enlisted others in the office to "hear" it too. It would be much better if it was making noise at random times which is what I thought it was supposed to do.

Day 3 mid morning.

The gig is up. Our "victim" turned his suspicions to the office on the floor below us. He thought that maybe the noise was emanating from downstairs and right before the 3 min 45 second mark, he marched down there and waited for it. Nothing.

While he was out of the office, my cohort and I decided to move the device to a new location then in what could be described as a panic moment, we came up with the idea of removing it entirely. The thought process being that our "victim" would inquire about a "weird ratcheting noise" to the nice people downstairs, they of course would deny making the noise, then after returning to his office the noise would mysteriously stop. We could then "encourage" a line of thinking that "they" lied and must have stopped making the noise. After about a week, we of course would have re-installed Eviltron...(insert evil laugh)

Reality we removed it, he came back and said he didn't hear it while in the other office....and he did NOT talk to anyone. So that pretty much screwed us. After about what would have been a couple "cycles" (6 to 9 minutes), the "victim" walked into my office, sat down and stared at me. When I said "what's up?" (in the most innocent, straight face I could muster), he simply replied "why don't you tell me what's up?".

So ends the first experiment.

We are now all conspiring on who our next "victim" will be.

Review in Summary this thing is awesome. But be aware, like all psychological torture it takes some time to work, so don't expect "instant results". If you want instant gratification buy a Whoopie Cushion.

Downside: I don't like the regularity of the noise however it keeps going off in 3 min 45sec intervals and the victim was starting to hone in on the source.

This thing is truly insidious, for the love of God people, have some compassion on who you unleash this thing on. I just can't imaging putting this in someones bedroom, office or car in a "set and forget" situation where you can't monitor their psychological deterioration. Your "victims" life would be broken into 3min and 45sec bites just waiting for the "next" noise event.. it would be all consuming and most likely impossible to tune out. Oh the horror.

I'm keeping my 4 stars at 4. If it was truly random timing it would be a 5 star easily!

My baby, whom is 10 months, still shows no interest in this most of the time. It makes a couple of sounds but she seems bored by it mostly.

Baby LOVES the funny sounds the frog makes. Easy for her to operate at 5 months old. She can pull or push the button easily.

It's kind of fun, and it's cute, but I do see some minor flaws. The spinner doesn't always work when the leg is pulled, and the other leg is hard to slide back and forth. My baby does like the sounds a lot though.

Fisher-Price Pooh Babies: Magic Rattle Pooh

OMG. Someone bought this for my son and gave it to me at my baby shower. Of course I really did not pay much attention to the toy until my son got older. I used to shake the little rattle and let him watch winnie the pooh laugh and sing and he used to enjoy watching it. But once he was old enough to hold the rattle himself and sit in his play pen (about six months) it was nothing but fun times from there. He absolutely adored this little toy. It does exactly what it says, when you shake the rattle pooh sings and dance and when you stop it stops. I hated to part from it but my son great out of it but if I ever have any more kids I am surely going to purchase the same toy again!!!!

My son loves these blocks. He is 6 months old and he likes looking into the blocks. He also loves it when I stack them up and he knocks them down. We also have other peek a blocks and he loves all of them. The only thing is buy them from babies r us. They are $9.99! To much on Amazon.

My son plays with these at daycare and I love them! It is worth every penny. My son loves to knock them down after I build then up. He also takes time to look through the clear block at the item in in.

It can be so hard to shop for toys that my child can actually PLAY with and when I stumbled on this toy I knew he had to have it. My son loves this football, he has limited control over his hands due to cerebral palsy but this football is perfect for him. The holes in the ball make it easy for him to grasp and he rarely drops it he can even move it from one hand to another. This toy is such a great hit in our home my other two boys like to play with it too.

My son was six months old when I go this for him, and he loved it. It's much easier to pick up than other balls because he can fit his little fingers into the holes. He also likes to squish it and chew on it.

I received this item only to notice the item was not the same color as what was depicted in the picture. I thought I was receiving a blue and green ball, but received a Red and White ball. The ball is also pretty big, considering the age group the ball is targeted for. Other than this, the ball is fine and will still be used. If you are specifically looking for a certain color, it may be worth while to contact the selling company to see if they have the color you want.

Fisher-Price Little People Wheelies All About Working

I bought these so we would have some more cars to use with the Stand `n Play Rampway, but unfortunately, only one of these cars makes it down the ramps with any consistency. Even though they are Little Wheelies branded cars, they are all too top heavy and end up flying off the track halfway down.

They are still cute little cars, and my 1 year old son doesn't really seem to care if they actually make it all the down or not... I still feel like it's a little disappointing.

Well, as disappointing as a $10 toy can be, which ultimately isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things.

We bought these cars for the stand and play rampway to give us some cars that were not affected by the recall. The Loader and dump truck constantly fly off the rampway and do not work for it's intended purpose. I called Fisher price to complain and I guess they are getting a lot of complaints about these two cars, because they immediately issues me a check for the cost of the cars to go buy another set. We bought the race car, mail car, and police car with that check and they work wonderfully! If you are looking for more cars go for another set that does not included the loader or dump truck (the two yellow and orange vehicles pictured above!).

I bought every one of these little wheelies cars available and used them on the Stand and Play Rampway. I am not sure if Fisher Price updated their designs since all the negative complaints, but if it helps, I bought my cars in 2011-2012 and all of them works on the rampway. The bulldozer however is slightly on the heavier side and sometimes might plunge over, but most of the time it makes it all the way down. These little cars are cute and I like that there are so many designs out there to choose from. Why choose when I can buy them all? I even grabbed the cardboard display case from the store to display my son's Little Wheelies. It also teaches him to tidy up his cars and put them back in the display case because he loves admiring his cars. If you have a toddler who loves cars, these are great to buy because they are actually safe for under 3 years old. Perfect for little one to hold on to. You can also find a lot more girl colors now.
