Molded Head Flashlight

This flashlight would be better sold that the dollar store. It's a piece of junk. We've thrown it in the trash, since I don't have the time to send it back for a refund.

I bought this "from Santa" for my 3 year old daughter who LOVES playing with flashlights. She was very excited when she saw it. However, the batteries don't seem to fit well enough inside, so it doesn't always connect with the metal part inside, thus not turning on. The feel of the plastic feels extra cheap too. I don't usually complain about products, but I would recommend getting a regular flash light in a fun color rather than this Dora flashlight. Maybe she can use it as a magic wand...

All my daughter asked Santa for was a purple flashlight. Seriously, she told the guy in the mall that's what she wanted. Because she likes Dora I thought this would be great. She was SO excited when she saw it under the tree Christmas morning. That lasted for 10 minutes which is as long as it worked. That was it. Luckily the keychain flashlight was small consolation. Now the teeny washer that holds it together is missing. So we are flashlight less. Totally disappointing and I won't buy anything from this manufacturer again.

The switch to turn off the flashlight of the molded SB wouldn't switch off. The child didn't care but if you were acutally trying to use this flashlight it would be useless because it runs till the battery dies.

Cordy Roys Red Bear 15" by Jellycat

I have given my niece a red bear a year since she was 1 year old. Now that she is 15 I didn't think she would want anymore, but that is not the case! She said she's the only one she knows who collects red bears. Therefore she is getting Cordy Roys by Jellycat next Christmas. I know she will love this one. He probably will be her favorite of all! I could not believe how many bears there are out there to select...but this bear was by far the best! I purchased this bear as a secret santa gift for a child that requested a red bear...this bear did not have a "frowny" face, as soo many bears do (who wants a sad bear!) and was so soft and cuddly that I wanted it for myself. It was well made and was not a stiff overstuffed bear...I'm sure this bear will hugged plenty.

I'd never encountered the Jellycat brand before this bear, but I'm a believer now. These toys are durable, wash well, and are supersoft.

I got this bear for my son in a hospital gift shop after he had a horrid bout with the flu by the time we got home, he was fast asleep, cuddling his new bear. The color is a bright, dark red, and the corduroy is a bit on the wider wale side. It's also perfect cuddling size :)

Baby Einstein Press and Play Pal Toy

My newborn loves the panda. He can coo and gurgle at it for 30 minutes uninterrupted. He lies on his back and I put the panda next to him (they say newborns prefer to see things from the side?) It must be the black and white contrast and those big eyes. He often reaches and touches it smiling all the while. He loves the music too. Honestly, the panda is his best friend forever!

So cute! This toy is easy for my son to hold and snuggle and the music wonderful!

I saw some other reviewer had challenges in activating the toy the directions say to press the hands and feet the stomach is not actually a button, so hopefully this review will help other moms.. My baby loves it and the music is great! Great item and a good value.

Cute, but not the best baby einstein makes. Wish I could have played with it before buying. I was about to ship it back because the tummy didn't make any sounds, but as I read the reviews I guess it's not supposed to. But there is a button there like it should, and the box says 5 sounds, so I don't know. The different paws sound similiar despite the different instruments. A different song for each paw would be better. Baby Einstein at least used to make a duck with a similar concept...when you hit the middle, the song would bring all the instruments together, while the paws do individual instruments. This almost seems like a cheap ripoff.

If your comfortable with dirt, this toys for you! Baby toys that cant easily be cleaned are a terrible idea. My 6 month son loves this thing but after he teethes on it for a little while it is completely soaked, the he drops it on the floor where it gets coated with who knows what (not that my floors are very dirty) it gets very gross. then he wants to put it right back in his mouth. Which I can handle for a day or so, but after that I want to throw it in the washer so hes not eating day old drool/spit-up/floor dirt mud. But the music box is not washable and not easily removed. I have disassembled this thing twice to clean it (not an easy task, requiring wire cutters, a sewing needle, thread, and removing/replacing stuffing and tiny wires) but its becoming much more hassle than its worth. I am just going to throw it away before he becomes too attached. I would hate to have to tell him he cant have his favorite toy. What a shame they didn't make the music box removable because it really is a good toy.

Tolo Toys Stacking Activity Shapes

The is a good, durable toy that our 10 month old twins (boy & girl) keep coming back too. They have had this from about 7 months old and it continues to be a favorite toy. There njoyment with it is changing as the grow and I can see that it is a developmental toy.

As a stacker, they pretty much just love to knock it down right now. I has also helped our with son's crawling development...we will set it up across the room and he crawls to get to it.

The size and feel of the toy is great and this is a good learning toy as well with colors and shapes. Ther are many different versions of this type of toy out there and I am sure all are fine, but I would recomend this Tolo toy.

Very good quality, has many ways how and what teach your child. Very sturdy and durable plastic, excellent colors. You have to be prepared to spend some time with the kid just playing and teaching colors and shapes.

Happy Horse Blanket Pal

First off, I love giraffes so I may be a tad bias. But the fabric is super plush and soft. The giraffe is quite cute. Only problem is the paci holder velcro doesnt seem to stick at all. But i just ran a little needle and thread through it and our paci is permanently attached (although my son wound up not taking pacis, i left it on there, and he plays with it just the same). Also, I'm not sure if this is intentional but there is a small hole in the bottom side of the giraffe head. I stick my finger in and make a finger puppet of sorts... this gets quite a few giggles from my little guy.

I love the colors, size and fabric, but I do have an issue with the "pacifier strap". It is narrow and the itty bitty square of velcro on it does not stick together, so it is useless. I will just have to cut it off since I caught my 6 month old trying to swallow it. A slightly thicker strap with a snap or better velcro would have made this perfect.

Sponge Bob Square Pants Water Wow Doodle Book Magic Pen

I'm not very happy with the new water doodle pads and pen. The point on the pen scratches off the finish of the pictures and the kids can squeeze the water out of the pen making a big mess! All of the pages in the the doodle pad warped as they dried and the kids don't want to play with them anymore. I wish they would change the pens back to the type with the felt tip made of hard plastic with the screw top. I won't buy anymore of these and don't recommend them. :-(

My 2 year old son loves this. He will sit and draw for over an hour, which is unheard of for him. I love that the water dries and he can draw over and over. By the time he finishes a picture, part of it has already dried, so there's always more to draw. The only slight issue I have is that I wish the base of the pages was plastic not cardboard. After a lot of use/water, the cardboard starts to break down. But overall, I highly recommend this. It I by far the best drawing/ activity book over purchased. We have 2! (We also have the circus book.)

Little Bite Vampire Costume

A little cheap looking up close, but hey, it was < $20. It did run small too, our boy was wearing 18-24m clothes so we looked only at costumes that size. The pants stopped above his ankles, sleeves a tad short too. I'd go up one size for your little one.

love, love, love it! and so does my 2 year old daughter :-) It is completely organic and so it meets all my standards on what I would allow (when I can with in reason) my children to come in contact with. It's organic AND adorable! This does not happen very often. I shopped for a while before I found something that was sweet and charming that was organic. There are so many things out there that are organic but (in my opinion) was designed by someone with no taste or imagination. So this was a real treat and hope more companys will get with it and make organic that is also desirable in the way the product looks and relates to children and mommys as well.

Radio Flyer Classic Red Wagon

I had used a Radio Flyer wagon for almost 9 years as a garden cart, better size than garden supply type and smaller to store. I own an acre and 1/3, so carrying things around the yard is difficult without help. The old wagon is still good except that the wheels are plastic and that is why I am buying this new one it has steel wheels. The quality is even better than 9 years agovery sturdy, metal is heavily coated, no rough edges and handle is finger pinch proof. I should get about 25 years on this one. Oh, by the way the kids like to ride in it and pull stuff around in it also.

ORdered this Radio Flyer wagon for my grandson's sixth birthday when we discovered that, of all things, he didn't have one! He "needed" it for carrying his "stuff" around. Best part was that it arrived in perfect condition, it was easy to assemble and delivery took less time than we thought! The brand speaks for itself.

My son (4 yrs old) cannot leave this alone. We use it mostly to get the mail, walk to the pool, in fact anywhere we go he's either in it, or puling it full of toys, etc. It is strong, sturdy and easily put together. Arrived on time, but when unpacked it has two dents to the top of the rim. Thing is, it's not like you can pop back over to the Wal Mart and swap it when you've bought it online once you've unpacked it and your kids have seen it you cannot explain to them they have to wait another week or two in the hope we get another one that has fewer dents. So I keep my dented one. I would buy elsewhere next time for this reason it is a heavy item with less than adequate packaging and so you need to check it before leaving the store.

When I moved to this appartment the trash dumpster was completly at the other endof the appartment comlex. So I thought this would be great way to take my trash bags out and also to take groceries in from the car. It has been a God send. I am 65 and it is a great help. K's Kids Drop N Go Emma

I was eager to see this toy for my daughter and envisioned her crawling around the house after it. The toy itself is really cute and well made, however it does not work on carpet at all (doesn't even move). If your home is largely carpeted, I would pass on this toy.

This chicken is a lot of fun for a walking 1 year old. They have to drop the eggs in the back of the chicken and then she takes off laying the eggs behind her. It keeps them chasing after her. Our son thinks the eggs falling out is hilarious. Didn't give this product 5 stars because it seems a little pricy for what it is and she can only hold 2 eggs at a time so we have extra eggs rolling around that seem to go missing, but I guess that's why they give you 4.

Potty Training in One Day - The Potty Patty Doll

The directions that come with this doll say "We recomment that you familiarize yourself with how the doll operates. Try feeding and making the doll go potty before the 'Big Day.' The risk of operating the doll for the first time on the 'Big Day' is that things may not go smoothly and your child may lose interest and enthusiasm." In other words, it takes a grown-up to use this doll. Filling the bottle is a slow, cumbersome procedure (you have to immerse it in a glass of water, squeeze, turn upside down, remove and turn right-side up, squeeze again, reinsert in the glass & repeat). Feeding has to be done at an awkward angle; it's also messy and soaks the doll's clothes. To make the doll go peepee, you have to squeeze its thigh hard, which could distress a child. I was very disappointed with this doll and would have returned it if I could. I gave it two stars instead of one because it's a cute doll and it comes with training pants to replace the diaper it's wearing, which is a good idea.

I bought this doll to help my 19 month old get the concept of peeing in the potty. My daughter immediately loved feeding the doll and carrying her around. The cons were that you have to feed the doll at least 2 bottles worth SLOWLY for the doll to have enough in it to best show how the doll will go in the potty. Also, there is an art to making the doll pee consistently without sputtering. The pros were that my kid loved the doll and it did everything I needed it to.

I took a deep breath and forked over the cash and bought Patty. She worked. I don't have any complaints. We used her for about 20 minutes and don't plan on taking her out again until our 2nd daughter is ready to be trained. She will not be a toy. Potty Training in One Day worked. It is pretty intense but I am glad we did it and bought the appropriate doll. No poopy toddler diapers is worth every penny Patty cost me.

I had no problem spending the money on Patty. I was planning on the toilet training in less than a day method and need a doll that wet itself. I figured since this company also was a proponent of this method it would be a great doll and money well spent. What a waste. Part of the training is a "dry pants" inspection. Couldn't do that because the stupid doll leaks. Dry pants inspection with wet pants doesn't work. I am very disappointed and irritated that I spent the money. Don't buy this doll.

Intex Tropical Shade Kids Pool Float

I bought this item for my 20 month old grandchild. It arrived quickly we blew it it up once and it has held all summer with near daily use. The shade or leaf is tall enough for a pretty tall child and the leg holes are a good size. The "older kids" have jumped into it ages 7-and 9 but the shade was too low for them. However it should be noted that it has taken some substantial abuse and withstood it all. I am so impressed with this pool float the price is great! What a find! I have used others in the past that have not lasted through the summer. It is now mid August and going strong! I would highly recommend it. I just can't find anything bad to write about it.

My daughter got baby Stella as a Christmas gift from her grandparents. Knowing she was getting the doll, I was looking for some fun things to go with it. I saw the bad reviews for this rocking horse, but decided to order it anyway, because I was well aware it was for a doll not a little girl. (That is why it says Baby Stella rocking horse!) The horse is small, but fits Baby Stella. She stays on with the strap, and other stuff animals etc., could also enjoy a ride (just not at the same time). The horse is adorable, well made and a great addition to your Baby Stella gear. I highly recommend it! (And it got a WOW out of my 15 month old daughter, and that's so cute from her 4 1/2 year old brother.)

Some of the reviews for this item don't make sense. This horse was designed for baby Stella...the doll. This item was not designed for children to ride on. The horse is exactly the right size for Stella and is very well made. It's a great addition to our Stella collection. Very cute!!!!
