V.Smile Baby Smartridge Barney
I will say that all the V-smile Baby cartridges cover the same topics (numbers, shapes, colors) and I won't buy more becuase I am approaching this as a learning toy, not a TV time.
My older daughter did not like this game when we got it at age 3. Too babyish for her. This is just right for 2.5 years old.

My son played with this for about 5 minutes and that was it. It is kind of hard for them to engage because although you can see that they are doing something on the TV, I don't think they get it.I bought this for my grandson along with the Baby Mickey. He like Barney better. The volume on this one is also very low.Who new that what I have is a V-smile system and this item is for a v-smile BABY so I cannot use it.Wednesday, July 30, 2014
Raw Beans Shape Baltic Amber Teething Necklace
However, I was very disappointed in the size of the beads. Looking at the picture I was expecting the beads to be much larger. The necklace I received is obviously not the necklace in the picture. The last bead on the bottom is the clasp and it shows the beads to be that size and larger. Not true in my product. The beads of my necklace are half the size, at best, of the clasp.
That said I will keep the necklace, because I have no idea how to return it to another country. At the end of the day I expect it will still have good results regardless of the size of the beads. Unfortunately I will not order from this site again..Loved the necklace. Searched online for amber teething necklaces and prices were too high. Found this seller and price was not too high. Great product and quality for the price. Arrived ahead of estimated delivery. Would buy from this seller again.

Leapfrog Learning Baby Tad
Press the right foot that reads clap and he identifies feet. ("We have two feet"). Press his right paw and he counts. Press his right foot that says "dance" and he says dance with me and sings songs your toddler can dance along to. Press his left hand and he identifies hands. "I have two hands just like you." Press the sun on his belly and the sun lights up and he sings a sunshine song. Press his belly and he giggles and identifies his belly. Press his belly again and he sings the alphabet. Press the moon and he switches from day to night. Sooth your baby to sleep with songs like "Twinkle Twinkle little star."
When your child no longer plays with "Baby tab" he will say Bye-bye and automatically shut-off to save your battery. The toy is a great size for hugging and playing. I found Hug and Learn Baby Tad engaging and would highly recommend it to those with children eight months and up. Leap frog recommends this product for those six months and up. A baby at six months may have trouble pushing some of the buttons.
Buy Leapfrog Learning Baby Tad Now
Bought this toy for my 6 month old from target. He's loud enough to distract any crying baby during a meltdown in the store. When you press his chest then his hand you he plays 'night-night' music starting with a woman singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and then goes to classical music. You press his hand once, 'five minutes to night-night', you press again 'ten minutes to night-night'. Which worked so great on the car rides home from dinner at grandma's house. My husband is deployed so there wasn't anyone to keep him company in the back, and with tad he was usually always fast asleep within minutes. He sings songs about toes and clapping hands as well. Changing from clapping hands between once or five times, like a surprise every time you press his hand. He laughs and dances. My son likes to bite on tads 'ear?' while he teethes. He's soft and you can't feel the battery box like some toys since this one is in the back with lots of padding.
cons: the only things I didn't like was how he can seem loud a times(no volume dial) when you just need him a little more quiet. His belly is so low that it seems like they labeled his crotch, 'belly' which i understand kids don't know any different at their age, but its still funny/strange to adults. Also, sometimes it's a little hard to press on a button because of all the padding (on hands/foot/belly/chest). Which is better I guess if I had to choose between durability/comfort (to not feel battery pack) and ease of use.
All in all, even my son is still not able to press the buttons with all the padding I still like this toy. There hasn't been an outing yet that hasn't saved me from those in-store meltdowns. I'm pretty sure its less stressful on everyone (child, parent, and strangers) have a loud toys rather than an unhappy little one.
I recommend you get this toy for anyone who's trying to keep outings as smooth as possible. It even distracted my 3 month old nephew from crying!I had purchased several of the original Baby Tads as shower gifts over the years with rave reviews from the parents especially as part of a night-time or nap routine. When we were expecting, these had been discontinued but I was able to locate a French version. We were excited to see that there was a new English version available and quickly ordered it looking forward to the longer "minutes to night-night". Unfortunately, the music on the new tad starts with a song that has lyrics instead of just calming classical music and I don't believe the quality of the sound is the same. At this point, original Baby Tad (en francais) is used regularly and the new Tad is sitting on the sideline. This is not nearly as nice or as educational as the old Baby Tad. The variety isn't there and there is no "off" button, and it doesn't give kisses, which my first son loved.

Munchkin Caterpillar Spillers Stacking Cups
Buy Munchkin Caterpillar Spillers Stacking Cups Now
My daughter has been playing with this from 7 months and STILL loves them at 11 months in the bath or out she LOVES to stack them, chew on them, nest them. Most of all she LOVES to knock them over when mom stacks them high. They have been a lifesaver a few times when lunch hasn't been ready fast enough for her. The different holes in the bottom are interesting to her the only complaint is most of the holes should be smaller so water actually trinkles out slower it comes out so fast you lose the pattern and sprinkling effects. All in all we love them and I would definitely buy as a gift for a friend and will be keeping for our next little one.Read Best Reviews of Munchkin Caterpillar Spillers Stacking Cups Here
It's difficult to find bath toys that are bpa, pvc and phthalate free. I contacted the Munchkin Co. and they said they are! My 9 month old son loves them! Our 8-month old LOVES these. They have different designs on the bottom, so when you pour water through them, it acts as a strainer. She loves them at bath time. She also loves to bang them together. I was kind of skeptical, thinking to myself, "What is she going to do with a bunch of cups?" But I was so wrong! One of her favorite toys by FAR!Friday, April 4, 2014

My 2 month old grandson has almost figured out how to turn this one, lol, but in the meantime chews on the holder and bites on the plush part. It is such a cute toy, and the tune 'you are my sunshine' is so sweet. Tigger's cheecks glow red when the music is playing and draw my grandsons attention rather quickly. This is one of his favorites. Mine too. :)Want Kids Preferred Attachable Light Up Musical Toy Discount?

VTech - Pull 'N Learn Lion
Does seem very educational (teaches shapes, alphabets and colors).
The music seems pretty loud and so I put some scotch tape over the speakers. Helps marginally to reduce the sound.I bought this for my son, he is 3. He loves it, he calls it his kitty cat and loves to pull it around. Great product at a great value + very educational. My 5 month old loves this toy even thought it is meant for 12+ months. The music and the flashing lights intrigues her and the giggles it makes when the lion is pulled backwards always makes her laugh. The voice of the singer in this toy is not very cute though. Sounds a bit weird and not sweet enough.

Under The Nile Corn Toy
Buy Under The Nile Corn Toy Now
We received this as a present and we didnt know what to think. Over time it grew into my sons favorite toy when he was younger. We then went on to buy the entire collection. We have given 3 "baskets" to friends for their babies! Our little one has LOVED this since he was 2 months old, when we started tickling his nose and hands with the 'silks' on the 'head' of this ear of corn. At 4 months of age, he is grabbing it and puts it in his mouth... too cute! Great toy for in the car and stroller because it is easy to find and doesn't get hot in the sun.I bought every single vegetable and fruit that Under the Nile makes! They are made of the softest material and have the sweetest faces! My 1 year old enjoys carrying these around and chewing on them as she cuts teeth. She also enjoys pushing them around in her shopping cart and I expect they will last long enough to transition into pretend play when she is old enough!Wednesday, March 5, 2014

My six month old loves playing with these blocks and I don't have to worry about him getting hurt if he tumbles over and lands on them. They are made of soft rubber and can be washed in the dishwasher. They squeak, they're fun for Baby to chew on and they were inexpensive. Great value!Read Best Reviews of B. My daughter has a great time with these blocks. I researched the B. website before purchasing and that made me feel comfortable letting her chew on these all she wants. These are soft and easy for little hands to hold. The animal pictures on each block are cute and I like that the number corresponds to the number of animals and pattern on each one. Cute gender neutral colors. Great buy!Want B. One Two Squeeze Blocks Discount?
I love this toy by all my heart. With two my children, a girl 2 yo and a boy 5 month old, this is a truly multipurpose and safe toy. Now the main user of it is my daughter.I can't tell that it is baby toy, it is more for toddlers. But again, with the younger child the additional concern that if older kid will try to play with the younger one, it si developing and still safe for the baby. These blocks are meeting all my possible wishes to the toys: they educate and develop, entertain a child and allow them to have fun. My girl builds houses and trains of the blocks, throws them, squeezes, looks at the pictures and color and reports me about it, we are counting them...

Fisher-Price Little People Happy Sounds Home
I WOULD recommend going on ebay for a better price and also to purchase extra individual LP figures to make the play more realistic :)
Our family is interracial so we bought AA people as well as some others such as the hispanic and asian families for diversity. Especially with ebay, you can find the toys you want at the prices that you want and you dont have to pay that high cost unless you absolutely must have new items and even then there is a market for cheaper new LP toys on ebay as well. Remember to select buy it now and sort by price+shipping : lowest to highest to find the best items. Narrow down your category and search smart!
I have this house, the animal sounds farm, school bus and dump truck along with several extra figures and the memories that children (including myself) create with these toys are irreplaceable! The toys are almost as sturdy as the original ones (pre 1991) and they still attract little ones today! My daughter is 15 months old and I was looking for some "girly" toys to buy her for the holidays. I am always pleased with the quality of the plastic in Little People sets, but I really do not understand why they are so expensive. This is a small little unfolding house with five buttons that make different sounds (telephone ring, two different water sounds for the washing machine and the bathtub, a toilet flush, and a doorbell) and two little "people", one of which is a baby. There are some cute features, I'm glad my daughter has this, but it is nowhere near the $40ish current list price. I would judge this as a $25 toy. With some upgrades (more buttons/features) and more people in it, I would judge the price appropriate. I gave it only three stars because the value is low for the price and it was overall a bit boring/disappointing. My daughter has much more fun with the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Home, which is a GREAT buy for the money.

I bought this toy for my daughter for Christmas last year she was 2. Now we're coming up to Christmas again and she's still playing with it. I think it's played a part in helping her with pretend play. I thought we might've been over it by now but it it still holding strong in its place in the living room. I bought this for my niece's first birthday. I'd heard she had a fascination for a fellow toddler's Little People toys, and I wanted to get her a dollhouse. This toy got two birds with one stone. Before I presented this, though, I checked to see if it needed batteries. According to the box, they're not included, so if you're a considerate gift giver, make sure you have some ready. I believe it needs 3 AA batteries -I wanted to say 2 or 3, as I can't quite remember which it was, but I seem to remember bringing 3 with the gift, and that's the safer number in any case; better to have one more than you needed than one less. Also, I think the place where the batteries go (underneath the house) requires a screwdriver, so make sure there is one handy.
It's called the Happy Sounds Home -so don't be surprised; this is a toy that makes sounds. That's why you need the batteries.
Here are the sounds it makes:
--laundry being done in the washing machine, ending with a beep to indicate the washer is done
--toilet flushing
--baby laughing in the bath
--phone ringing
--doorbell ringing
The speaker is located just inside the front door, on the floor where a door mat would be. I babysit my niece fairly regularly, and I personally felt the volume of the sounds are comparable to her other sound-making toys, i.e., not too loud at all. The loudest sounds are the ringing phone and the ringing doorbell. The beep at the end of the laundry washing sound probably comes next.
The sounds are blessedly short in length, though, compared to her other toys, some of which seem to go on and on. Unless you have a kid who obsesses with pushing buttons constantly and without end, I don't think you have to worry about this toy annoying you in the sound department.
OK, now for moving parts:
--the entire house has a hinged side, so it opens and closes
--the yellow front door opens and closes, and there's a pink button next to it on the outside that activates the ringing doorbell sound)
--the pink laundry detergent on the yellow washing machine is a button that activates the laundry washing sound
--the pink toilet seat lid opens and closes, and upon closing activates the toilet flushing sound
--the pink floor of the bathtub is actually a button you press to activate the baby laughing in the bath sound
--the yellow baby crib in the bedroom actually rocks
--the yellow refrigerator door opens and closes
--the pink phone in the living room is actually a button that activates the phone ringing sound
--the disc/wheel with the sun and moon sticker moves round and round and can be seen and moved from the outside of the house or the inside.
The pieces separate from the house are:
--the father
--the mother
--the baby
--a pink table
--two purple chairs
--a pink highchair for the baby
And everything fits inside the house, so the house is like a little toy box for the smaller pieces.
Also, my niece is at that stage in her life where she loves to put everything in her mouth, and these separate pieces are the ideal size for it, small enough for her to grasp, big enough that I never have to worry about her swallowing them, and solid and sturdy enough that I never have to worry about pieces breaking off. ALL of these have been tasted and gnawed on by the way, and they have all come out still looking as good as new, however slobbery they might be. My only concern is that I don't know what the little people are painted with -but whatever it is, I hope and trust that Fisher-Price has made sure it's safe. This is a good starter toy but for the price, I personally would expect perhaps a few more items in the package. It is great that it comes with the family but perhaps a pet and some other mobile pieces would be better. My daughter likes it but she seems to need more to do with it. I ended up buying the bus set to have more to do.

Bright Starts Having a Ball Giggables - Elephant
I suppose that's more of a review on Amazon's poor skills though.
The toy itself is cute. It's about the size of a tennis ball and makes goofy sounds when rolled across the floor. I thought that these made the respective animal sound when rolled, but they do not (at least the elephant does not). There is a little on/off button on the side which I think will prove dangerous for the toy if my drooly boy gets ahold of it and slobbers all over it. Other than that, it's worth the $6 you would pay for it in the retail store, but NOT worth the $15 that Amazon.com is charging, in my honest opinion.
*****UPDATE*****
After looking over the packaging again, I found that the batteries are not replaceable. I'm not sure what made me think they took watch batteries. Stress, maybe? So, now I have a dead elephant in my house. This is definitely being returned to Amazon! I still think this would make a great toy for young kids, but I'm decreasing my rating for durability. The toy is durable enough for those that like to throw things and are hard on toys, but batteries that aren't replaceable make it a toy that won't be played with after the batteries die and I'm not sure how long they actually last. Mine didn't make it more than the two day shipping period.

My 18 month old son loves this toy! However, the batteries are dying and there is not any way to replace them. That is the only drawback to this otherwise fun toddler toy. An Ok toy. It has to be hit hard to make the noise. It sounds like glass shattering. My 7 month old isn't really interested in it, however my 18 month old nephew loves being hit with it and hearing the noise.
