My husband and I found the Kaloo bears in Paris 8 years ago. I was pregnant with my son and we just fell in love with it. Since we couldn't go back to Paris for our 2 daughters, we scoured the internet to find them. Finally, Amazon has them and they are a favorite baby gift. You won't find a sweeter or softer stuffed animal for your child. It comes in a round hat box and the presentation is just perfect. I highly recommend a Kaloo bear for any special child in your life.

2 and 1/2 years ago, I purchased a Kaloo bear for the first time for my unborn grandson. For the first 2 years of his life, it became the object he would go to sleep with, hold and cuddle for comfort. Its soft, durable and completely washable, unlike most stuffed animals that hold dust and dirt, saliva, etc. Now, it is one of my favorite baby gifts.

I love that this is washable! Most stuffed animals say surface clean only which is not sufficient with what most kids do to their animals. I put all my kids stuffed animals in the washing machine (despite the labels to the contrary) and of course they never look the same or are quite as soft...except for this one! The microfiber makes it machine washable and it comes out looking as good as it did before it goes in! This germaphobe mom is very pleased! I love it so much that I have bought this as gifts for other new moms.

Super cute bear. It's washable, which I love since my teething daughter drools on it. It's soft and cuddly. The bear is light enough that she was able to hold it at younger than 5 months old (it was a Christmas present for her). While it is "designed" in France, it is still made in China. I wish I would have known that before ordering. I really don't understand why the bear cost $20+ -I don't think it is worth the price tag. Overall though, I decided to keep it.

I love the pajama part of the costume. The material is really thick, and it has a lot of details.

The wig on the other hand, is complete garbage.

It is made out of foam tubes, and then poorly wrapped in yarn. Then, the yarn wrapped tubes are badly glued together on a mesh wig cap thing. The glue is in large hard chunks on the inside of the wig, and you can see large spots of glue in between the "curls" on the outside of the wig. Also, the foam tubes are not glued on correctly at all, so instead of looking like the picture, one side is really short, and the other side is long. The back of it stands out at a weird angle, as if she is walking into a bad windstorm. If all that wasn't bad enough, it is too stiff and too heavy to actually stay on a childs head.

Seeing as the wig was the cutest part of the costume, and it is not even usuable, I wouldn't suggest that anyone buy this unless they already have a suitable wig replacement. My toddler was very sad when she saw how cheaply made and deformed the wig was.

This costume is just as explained in the other reviews. The actual costume is great but the wig is junk. Lucky for me my daughter does not want to wear the wig anyway.

It is really defective, it doesn't fit and it have silicon glue all over visible, the hair tears apart and you can see the poor quality on the product, it was really frustrating, since the costume is expensive I expected more, the only thing using here will be the pj, it is a shame... you should take care of feedbacks unfortunatelly I reed it until I noticed how defective and horrible it is, and I'm not alone... same with allcustomers who have been on this....

Soft & Safe Sensory Blocks

It's hard to build with these since they are not very even/smooth so they don't balance well. I have seen other soft blocks that had smoother sides for more stability when stacking. We hardly ever use their noise-making capabilities. The colors are bright, these are washable and did well through 2 cycles. I just have seen other options that cost half as much or even less that accomplish the same thing or better.

When I first opened the package for the Cookie Monster costume, I was a little dissappointed. It looked cheap, and it wasn't "fuzzy" looking like Cookie Monster. But it was very adorable once my son put it on. And he was the only Cookie Monster we saw on Halloween. A few little kids came up to him and wanted to see Cookie Monster. Very cute!

My son was 22 months old at Halloween, and the 2T fit him well with a little extra room. He's 50th percentile for height and weight.

Loved the costume! Everyone thought they were adorable and the costume kept the baby warm while they were out and about that evening.

My son is 15 months old, 31 inches tall, 20 lbs. We ordered the 12-18 month costume and it is just perfect. It is totally adorable and fits perfect. This is so adorable,and high quality soooo soft. Only trouble was, my granddaughter received about 7 of these! Different animals, but I thought this was the cutest! I am sure the precious baby will pick out his favourite soon. He'll enjoy all of them though. Babies love soft things and bright colors. Wish they had these when my boys were babies. Love the alligator line from Maison Chic and this blanket is adorable. i have bought the alligator plush rattles before but saw this and had to have it for my neice's baby. The blanket is so soft and is large enough to cover up in the stroller but not so large as to be cumbersome

Kitten Tails Book 9" by Jellycat

Like everything that I have purchased from Amazon, the Kitten Tails Book by Jellycat is just fine. The same book is sold at the upscale grocery market where I shop, but I did not want to buy it there where so many hands were constantly touching it. My purchase from Amazon came wrapped and untouched---so preferable. The book is very colorful and my grand-daughter is intrigued with it. She loves the textures of the tails and the funny cats that are attached to those tails. The book is just the right size for a toddler or baby.

My daughter really enjoys this great touchy feely kitty book! We take it along on the road and have had great experience with all of the Jellycat products we've purchased.

I love the rabbit doll from Jellycat that was given to my daughter as a gift, so I wanted to get something else from them.

Since we have cats, I decided to try this one out. My baby loves it. It makes that crinkly sound that babies love, and she like the different feel of the tails (she'll suck on them too).

Bought this for my infant son. He is 5 months old and it is one of his favorite toys. He loves that is crinkles and he chews in the tails. Definitely more to play with than read (not recommended if you are looking for a book to read to your child) but keeps him entertained.

Fisher-Price Sesame Street Giggle N Go Driver - Elmo

Our son loves this toy. He was 8 months when we bought it and granted it took him acouple attempts to play with it and not be started by the noise when he turned the steering wheel or pushed on the turn signals, which are super cute cause the arrows light up and the toy says " cookie cookie " when the light blinks.

I can put this toy in the crib with him and he will play with it and let me get an extra 15-20 minutes worth of sleep....

My 16 month old son isn't into this so much, he likes to sit in his carseat and just reach a hand over...and hold down the "radio" buttons, which is Oscar saying "all Garbage, ALL the time" and then some music.

I'm not yet at my limit of noisy toys, I'm coping, and I still give him this thing, but whooooaaaa, that gets annoying quick! I eventually start looking for a good hard right turn that will toss it out of his reach!

This toy is painfully loud, and there's no way to adjust the volume.

If your child will be playing with it outdoors or something silly like that, then it's decent. The sound effects and phrases are amusing, and there's lots of different interactions (push, pull, twist, turn, etc).

Indoors, however, it's just too loud, even for adults (children generally have better hearing than adults, so if it's loud to us, it's even louder to them).

My son has this toy.....I think it's hilarious and probably play with it more than he does. It's too funny. As for it being loud....it's no louder than some of the other toys out there. It's extremely durable as we have laminate flooring and my son has tossed/dropped it several times. He'll be two year old next week and he still has fun playing with this toy.

Under The Nile Lion Ring

This is great for the stage of teething where your baby wants something that is a mixture between soft and hard. It's a nice texture and best of all it's organic which is the best since it's going into your baby's mouth. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars is because it's a little bit thick for a baby to hold in his hands, a lot of times, I have to hold it for my son. Also the face, it's a little creepy, and the pointy ears kind of make it look evil instead of nice. Maybe if the ears were made rounder and the stitch on the face was rounder it would look a little more pleasant :)

A simple baby ring, for teething or just grasping. Definitely washable and organic, so I feel safe my baby is handling it. Looks handmade and would make a nice gift too.

Baby's My First ABC Cloth Book

My baby tends to eat her books so I thought a cloth book would be safer to give her. It's cute but very simple, just teaching A, B and C (no other letters) and 1, 2 and 3 (no other numbers). What did impress me was that when I commented on how my number "1" had been sewed on upside-down (very upsetting for an anal gal like me) they sent me a new one right away. That kind of customer service is rare these days!

This book is adorable and research shows a newborn/baby would be interested in it. However my child is now nearing four months and has yet to pay attention to this book.

Not only that, but when I washed it (as this will eventually end up in my child's mouth) the book lost so much color it looks faded and worn. It looks as though it had been washed about 8x already.

Save your money and buy a book that has a large 'crinkly' page in it. Kids really eat that up and they will develop their hearing as well as visual/coordination skills. My suggestion is Sesame Street Teething Book. This way, they will also have it for the teething stage!

I really wanted this book to work. Unfortunately, not worth the $10.

Baby Pumpkin Costume

I have a petite 7 month old baby girl and this costume was too large for her. However, on a boy or an average sized girl, this would probably fit well. The costume did not come with feet, non-stick or otherwise, but it is no big deal as you can put socks on. I got lots of compliments on what a cute little pumpkin I had, so the costume was a bit hit.

i bought this thinking its a cover-all onecie, otherwise i wouldn't have bought this one...their product description does say " an orange romper with nonskid soles "....but, feet not covered like it shows in the picture or as per their description...very disappointed!!

Bubbles Bath Toy

These look so neat, but the image you see is about as good as it gets. The suction cup is stiff, and my 2-year-old can't seem to get it to suction without help. After a few seconds, they fall off (of each other and the tub). You can't stack more than 2 or 3 carefully. We tried on our smooth, clean tub, the door, the countertops...the only place it seemed to hold was the metal tub spout.

For the price, they were a huge disappointment and my son isn't interested. We bought two, but are returning the unopened box.

These looked fun for tub time for my 4 and 2 yo boys. When we got them they were so excited. Got in the tub that night and only about half of them would stay stuck. The other half would stick for a second then fall off which would frustrate and disappoint them. After I weeded out the bad half and they had good ones left, they loved them.

I've looked at these far to many times before deciding to buy them for my 14 month old

I'm actually surprised with these!

They are much bigger than I had imagined. Not only do they stick to our tub and each other... THEY REALLY DO STICK TO PEOPLE! Of course I had a big red mark on my forehead after a whole bath time of my daughter insisting I wear them like a unicorn, but we had fun.

I also for some reason thought they would be hard plastic, but instead they are full of air and they float.

I'm really happy I finally got these for her, Shes done so much laughing in the bath.

I bought this for my daughter to use in the bathtub. The concept seemed neat, something she could stick to the walls of the tub or to each other. However, they don't stay stuck to each other (or anything) for longer than a couple seconds before falling off. That's no fun! How is she supposed to build something with them? Lame. And for the price, I thought these would be really top-notch. They are junk! Very disappointed.

there definitely is a little trick to getting the bubbles to stick to one another and stay stuck...one wrong move and they all pop off! i ordered a set for my almost 2yr old daughter (after reading mixed reviews) and thought this would be an economical gift for other toddlers on my list this holiday season...but because it does require a certain "finesse"...others might get frustrated with it. i did, however, order one extra for my niece (also almost 2) because even if it doesn't work perfectly, i know my sister won't think i just passed some crappy gift onto her!

Kids Preferred Attachable Light Up Musical Toy, Winnie The Pooh

This looks good and feels very soft. But the music and lights make the toy seems cheap. The sound is of poor quality and the lightings made the toy seem cheap.

Cute Pooh toy, but the music sounds like it's from a cheap greeting card--tinny, loud, and abnoxious. I think it scares my 30-week old who loves Pooh. Wish I could return it; only if I hadn't removed the tag.

Sassy Developmental Bath Toy, Squirt and Squeak Blocks

My son loves playing with his blocks, and I thought blocks in the bathtub would be a fantastic idea. I purchased these online, and opened them up when they got here. They were not nearly as soft as squeezable as I'd expect them to be. We have another version of plastic blocks from Target, and those are just fantastic soft plastic, easily chewable and squeakable these are definitely NOT them. He likes them ok, but they don't stay in the bath tub, since he can't squeeze them, or make them suck up water very well.

All in all, good block toy. Not a fantastic squirt or squeak toy.

LOVE these blocks. My baby's favorite for chewing during teething. Bright colors. Each block has different textures, letters, and shapes. Great learning tool. Squeak is not loud and not annoying (yet). Comes with a little mesh plastic storage bag so they can be thrown neatly into a travel/diaper bag. Highly recommended

The blocks are really well made and they are good distraction for baby in the bath. Like the other review says they are not big squirt toys.

My son loved to play with them from the beginning (4-5 months) and still play with them now (1 year and a half).

The colors are bright, they have letters and pictures of other toys on them (for example a drum).

I just realized that one block got a bit of mold, so they need a good wash with bathroom cleaner. I would recommend to wash them with detergent periodically.

Peacock Curves

My granddaughter loved this and it was great quality so made a lovely gift. More of an art piece than a puzzle, but she really enjoyed playing with it and held the peacock body all afternoon. My daughter used it as the cake topper for her first birthday party which was rainbow themed.

Chicco 4-in-1 Ride-On Car, Pink

This looks to be a good product. Our 6 month old daughter likes it and our 14 month old nephew loves it. It is all plastic and hopefully it will stand up to the abuse that kids can give to the toys. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it looks like it will last for years, but only time will tell.
