The barking surprised us (just squeeze) but we didn't read the product description very closely. Nonetheless, Spunky is quite soft and blue.

THIS is my son's "lovie" He has had it since he was about 3 months old. He sleeps with it every night and he has more than one. In the mornings, he gathers up his "doggies" and won't get out of the crib unless he has them all. They get dirty easily but I throw them in the washer machine.

Some of the "barking" is gone on them but he truly loves his doggie. Super Soft. I highly recommend this product. It is a little pricey but really well-made. My son is 2 1/2 years old now and it's "A man's best friend."

When my twin boy and girl were born they were given tons of plush toys. Over the course of a few month they had settled on this blue and pink dog as the only toy they can fall asleep with. The ears and tail are perfect biting and sucking size, and the material seems to be what sets this apart from other toys. If they lost their puppy at night they would cry until it was returned to them. Today, at one, they still require it to fall asleep. The barking device seems unnecessary. I have laundered these toys many many times and the barking device still works. I hope it doesn't leak chemicals from the battery. The fabric is permanently browned from saliva and chewing :) We used to have three puppies to rotate for laundry. We lost on the other day and need to order a few more. Best plush toy ever!

This is one of my son's favorite toy, its his best friend. Although the only downside is that he carries it around and gets food and grime all over it. One cycle and poof good as new, but there is no easy way to remove the barking voice box in the middle, There is a small seam on the dogs belly that seems that it was intended for adding the mechanism that could be used to remove it before you wash again, but like i said its not an easy task.

It uses 2 AAA batteries (not 1 AA); also both the turtle AND starfish have wheels, thus they can be stacked, or pulled like a "train". Strangely, the turtle ALSO has what appears to be a battery compartment (and a tiny "speaker") on the bottom, but it does nothing. Instructions said nothing. I spent several minutes trying to pry open this battery compartment, until I finally decided it must be glued shut / non-functional. It's an OK toy for what it does. It's cute; appears well made. It rolls, plays electronic " beepy" music and has flashy lights. Perfectly fine gift, though ours did not come with the attractive packaging shown.

I bought this for my 5 and 16 month old sons. I am not disappointed with this xylophone. Hopefully, they will enjoy for many years to come.

While the idea is good for this product the actual music scale is wrong which completely negates any educational value of this toy. Attached music sheets and common sense imply that the scale of this toy should be C major. However instead of note E chinese manufacturer made it E-flat, so you get a melodic C minor instead, so attached music sheets are useless since you cannot re-tune any of the notes, and usefulness of the toy is greatly reduced.

I purchased this for my 3 y o on Halloween and it was a big hit. We had loads of comments on how cute it was.

I actually opened it up several days before Halloween and my son wore it around every day up until the day we went trick or treating he loved it that much.

Everything you get with the costume is worth the price.

I will say however, it is fairly flimsy. There were threads hanging off the lab coat. The patch came off the little medical bag and the stethoscope came apart the day we opened the shipment. Nothing that a basic sewing kit can't fix. My son still loves the accessories that came with it and plays with his "pinch" the small syringe that came inside the bag.

I was a little disappointed with the doctors bag and stethoscope. It's cloth and not very realistic. The outfit is more like a halloween costume type material and grade.

I bought this in Pink for my 9 month old since she loves playing with my cell phone, and I thought it looked pretty realistic. She is not interested in this toy. Plus, the buttons aren't that sensitive, so it's difficult for her to get it to make any of the noises. This phone says three phrases: "Hello, hola," "How are you? Como estas?" and "Goodbye, Adios." There is no Spanish setting; it says the English first followed by poorly pronounced Spanish. It also makes a dialing sound and musical ringing sound. On the plus size, the mirror isn't quite as distorted as most that are used for baby items, and it closes and opens slowly so as not to pinch little fingers. FYI: I purchased this on Amazon for $9.99. I would check Walmart first for a better price.

Bought this phone so my 6 month old would stop freaking out when I talked on the phone and she couldn't have mine. Its a great phone, but she was not fooled. I think she likes how mine closes with kind of a snap shut. and this one has a smooth close hinge. Meaning no pinched fingers or surprises. She playes with it some.

My 15 month old daughter has had lots of play phones, but this one is the best. Its lite and easy for her to pick up and open. She could open it when she was 8 months old. Its easy to hit the buttons also. It plays songs, makes dialing noises and speaks. It has a mirror also. This is definitely her favorite one. Its not annoyingly loud either. I had to buy her another one on amazon because I lost the first one and I honestly could not find another phone that was even comparable to this one. Cant find it at WalMart anymore. Cute product with nice little ringtones when babies push the buttons, but this product is NOT bilingual. Whoever did the speaking for the recording has a HORRIBLE accent and should honestly be embarrassed. Infantino should be embarrassed. We have a fully bilingual household (my husband is a native Spanish speaker and I am 100% fluent), and I really wish I could turn off the "biligual" part of this phone it does more harm than good, and I truly hope that Infantino will fix this.

We bought this for our son when he was 10 months old. We have had it for just over a month now. He is, of course, a little young for this toy. However, he loves the songs it plays for each letter and will "dance" and shake his head to the music. He has figured out how to turn the pages of the book, which makes a very cute rustling noise when he does it. The buttons light up, which attract his attention, but he only pushes them on accicdent. He is still too young for the game function. What I love about this, and it is why we bought it in the first place, is that it teaches phonics in addition to the letter. Each letter has a corresponding song which is sung when the button for that letter is pushed. The say the name of the letter, then use the letter is several words to demonstrate how that letter can sound. The songs are short and catchy, some are in female voices, others in male voices. Like all Leap Frog toys, there is a volume control and on/off switch.

I am sure that my son will get more and more use out of this toy as he grows. He already enjoys to play with it, and will sit for 5 minutes or so. For a one year old, I think that is great!

I admit the I am hesitant to say good things about toys with batteries or toys that have kids push buttons to, "learn," but my 2 1/2 year old daughter does love this toy and seems eager to learn from it. She got it a year ago and it was a little over her head until she was about two years old. I think it will continue to keep her interest for at least another six months.

I bought this for my three-year-old son before my husband and I had to leave on an extended overseas trip. The map was useful for showing him how we were going to take an airplane from the States to the Philippines. My only complaint is that in order for the sounds to work, you have to place the map on a solid surface. It won't work in the car or on the carpet. Actually, one more complaint, there is an option to play a game where you match an animal sound to the picture of the animal, but all of the sounds are pretty much the same. If your child doesn't like to sit at a table while playing with his toys, he probably will never play with this toy.

Some continents and animals have no sound and they should. The plane doesn't work as I thought, you have to press it really hard to get a sound.

Maybe I should give this toy only 4 stars because my six month old son still cannot pull the horse with enough force to get it to play, but he loves it so much I had to give it 5 stars anyway. He really stops to listen to the animal sounds and the music it plays and enjoys kicking at it or playing with it himself when no adult is available to make it play. My grandson was testing the water for the first time during his visit with us, and the little pool is perfect! It's like his own personal bath tub (but cuter). For the price, this is a good addition for the summertime.

I must have gotten stuck with the bad one out of the bunch. This pool is super adorable but when I received this last night there was already a hole on top of the whale and none of the tabs where you blow air into stay closed! Well, the pool tabs stay closed but as far as the whale that we already had to use the patch for and the toy rings (including what they hang on) all open right back up. I see that I am going to need to try and tape them all shut. I would return this, but being currently overseas and waited a few weeks to get this, I don't want to bother sending this back and waiting for a replacement...Oh well at least this pool didn't cost too much.

Seriously! The photos show it ALL WRONG. I blew this sucker up up UP and still the side attachments were obstructive. This was a gift for my son's 1st birthday and he could barely sit in it comfortably. Eventually I removed the three rings and hoop with the scissors (carefully) and then he had more space. But you really can't fit more than one child in there even now.

I like this product and so does my baby, it looks cute and attracts my baby's attention. Unfortunately it doesn't stay where you stick it. I have tried everything and it keeps falling off. I put it on the stroller when we go out shopping and I have had to chase for this toy all over the place since it keeps falling off and rolling away when there is the slightest bump or my baby touches it! (which kind of defeats the point of having it).

This little bug is my 4 month old girl's favorite toy. She has been in love with it ever since her eyes could focus. The big black and white eyes and the antennas get her attention every time! Now that she is starting to grab things with her hands, this is still her favorite because of his polka-dotted feet! I am buying a "twin" so that if we ever lose him we won't have a crisis on our hands! Definitely recommended! (Note: The jitterbug I received was a different color than the picture. I was not aware that colors could vary, but the baby loves it just as much as the original.)

I bought this on a whim thinking it was cute. This is my baby's favorite toy and has been since he was 2 months old! I always have it on his car seat, because if he gets upset when we're in the car this toy is the one thing that distracts him and calms him down. He loves the spotted feet and smiley face. It vibrates on the way up, after you pull the draw string. The wings crinkle when you squeeze them. There is also a jingle ball inside to rattle. The stringy legs are nice and easy to work with for my baby's developing grasp. Having a baby with special needs, I've noticed that not many toys interest him = work = development. This is a keeper! We gave this to my son as a toy to take with us to eat out when he was a few months old. Now, he's 8 months and still loves it. We strap it to his wrist or the high chair to keep it from being tossed on the floor. I've had to wash it a few times though when I forget and he drops it in dirty stuff. I wash it by hand and toss it in the dryer. It still vibrates just fine. He loves the dangly legs.

Just an edit, my son is one year old now and still goes back to this toy periodically to play with it.

Nice set for the bath tub and my son loves the case as well. He uses the balls with a small suction cup basketball hoop for the tub. I have plugged the air holes with glue so water inside does not lead to mold. Great set.

OK, so she has no real idea what the shapes are but our 18 month old loves these bath toys in and out of the bath. She even likes the cute case they came in plays with it quite a lot. The colors, shapes and sizes all about right.

I don't think you can go wrong with WOW toys. Everything is really built to last. I only gave this 4 stars because my daughter spent more time begging for this toy than she did playing with it. It's a bit simpler than their other stuff, but it's a good value considering the price. The parts are easy to maneuver and the plastic is durable.

I have purchased WOW toys in the past and have always been very happy with them. My daughter is almost 3 and she has been playing with this set almost everyday since we gave it to her. I like that you can turn the chicken to display more food items for the horse to eat.

This is a winner! Its mostly taken the place of the real remotes in the house which is great! I find it comical that some of the other parent review have said this toy is "not educational" or not much for "brain development". People toddlers learn by playing. That is how their little brain develop. A toy remote is not a set of flashcards, but thankfully toddlers don't require flashcards to learn and develop their brains.

After searching for some time for a play remote for our daughter, we found this at a local Walmart store. It's EXACTLY what I had been looking for!

Looks close enough to the real thing that your baby shouldn't be too disappointed when you swap your real remote with this one.

We bought this for our daughter when she was 9 months, and she still loves it at 15 months. Our family loves the humor built into all the Sesame Street programs and toys, and this remote is no different. The volume key actually works to incrementally turn up or down the volume of the toy and the big Monster eyes are a hit with the little one, they make a cute "power on / power off" noise when you hit the button on the side. She always liked to open and shut the eyes with her finger and I think this helped refine her control of her index finger.

The best part of the remote is that it has saved us from numerous tantrums as it is very easy to throw in the diaper bag.

This toy caught my eye because it looks almost exactly like my actual TV remote. Same color, shape, even the buttons are similarly placed. My son has an obsession with our TV remote, and whenever he gets his little hands on it, it takes me forever to undo whatever it is he's done to the TV settings!

As soon as I received this, I didn't give it to him right off. I placed it on the arm of our couch (where I tend to place our actual remote) and let him find it on his own. When he spotted it, he made a mad dash for it, and was just thrilled to pieces! He kept looking at me sideways, wondering when I was gonna take it away, and sat quietly on the couch with it for some time!

I absolutely recommend this little toy! I never put it with all his other toys, I always keep it in the living room where the real remote is so he can feel like he's playing with the actual thing...this was definitely a smart purchase!

Bumkins Junior Bib

I wish I'd known about these bibs when my daughter first started eating solids because I would've saved a lot of time cleaning up. They cover her shoulders and really are waterproof. She's even spilled soup down the front of her and her clothes stayed clean. I highly recommend them!

I like this style and brand the best. I have tried many and have a drawer full to prove it. This material is machine washable which is nice b/c some are not. dries quickly, hang/line dry. This also covers chest, belly, and shoulders. By putting the arms through the arm slots it prevents it from shifting. plus it has a longer front with a pocket so it catches most food and keeps the lap clean.

I wish I used these from the beginning. My daughter loves to eat and is a very messy eater. I used to have to put a burp cloth or kitchen towel in her lap and around her waist and then a bib on top of that. This bib covers her well onto her lap, her shoulder area and the pocket on the bottom catches crumbs. It's so easy to clean too. I just wipe it down after she eats and at the end of the day I quickly wash it with dish soap and hang it to dry. I only have two and it works out great. I used to have a basket full of bibs and go through about 3 or 4 a day.

I recently bought Wee Emmie for my daughter for her 1 birthday

becasue she loves ducks. The Bunny by the bay website says it is great for any age.

Well, I found that she was able to pull the small felt foot off. Upon

closer inspection of the other attached foot, it appears to be hand

sewn to the body of the duck with only a few stitches. The size of

this foot is perfect for a small child to choke on. I will no longer

be letting my children play with this stuffed animal.

I contacted the company and let them know what happened, and they never responded...

I bought this as a bunny plush collector, but it's clear that this plush is best suited for babies and nurseries. Not just as a decoration, it's appears to be a very good safe plush with no parts to fall off or get pulled out, etc. Eyes and nose are sewn in, nothing can break off. Very soft good squishy bunny plush that is a joy to pet like a real bunny (and it can't bite you or make a mess like a real pet rabbit, which I have one as wellmine is scary but somehow sweet too).

I got the Petal bunny which is naturally adorable in every way. It has a strange overwhelming charm (being a bunny with pink fur) and is handmade, adds to the love all around.

This very soft plush happens to be very small in size, but very portable for those on the go. I appreciate the smallness of Petal bunny as my bed is overrun by stuffed animals from Hello Kitty/Charmmy Kitty, Build-a-Bear Workshop plushes, bunnies and more bunnies of all sorts.

So, I'm thankful for the smallness, but could be a problem for others because of the high price. Though the smallness is more the right size for a baby to hug and hold instead of a larger plush that could do possible harm. No worries here on this soft small bunny. I love this super cute thing :)

I purchased Baby Owen for my 16 month old daughter for two reasons: her three year old sister already has Hailey and every day is a fight to see who gets to play with the "real" baby. My only complaint is that there is a slight smell to it. I'm not sure what it is... it's not a bad smell, it's just one of the materials used has a strong smell. I'm sure this will go away but I want to at least put that out there in case anyone else orders it and has the same issue. I will keep the doll though and plan to give it to my daughter. I expect she will love it.
