We have a 25 year old profoundly retarded (and that's a perfectly good word!) son who loves things he can push and get music from. Normally I check to make sure that no matter how often he pushes a button -and it is often repeatedly -the tune will continue playing until done. But this little butterfly doesn't. If he pushes it once, the tune plays, and then pushes it again, it stops. At first he threw it down in disgust (it withstood that treatment beautifully) and then picked it up again and tried again. For him, it may well be educational as it may teach him to wait for the song to finish before pushing again. For Chris, that would be a major learning thing. We have a lovely little granddaughter of about a year old, however, who finds it boring already. All you do is push the button and lights and music come on, play, and stop. You push again and the same thing happens again. For Chris, this is great. For our granddaughter, she's already past it at a year.

This toy is alright. It is fun, if you are young enough. If you have a fear of clowns, don't get it! I don't have a fear of them, but someone in our household apparently does and she cannot be anywhere near this toy! It doesn't do as much as I had expected when I ordered it but will still keep it because it's a pain to send things back! Not educational at all...not that fun to play with. My son will probably play with it for a few weeks and then into the toy box it will go...
Both our sons love this toy. They both have sensory processing problems and problems with fine motor control and the toy helps them with both. Our infant development specialist recommended it and it was an instant hit. The 3 yo loves to stack the cars on it and has fun imagining what the anilmal drivers are doing. Our 17 month old plays with it, too. He loves to push all the buttons and listen to the noises and sounds it makes. It is good for developing fine motor control as they play with all the pieces. It's also stimulating enough to keep their interest. Like I said, it was an instant hit and after two months they both still play with it frequently. It's durable, they haven't broken anything on it and our boys are rough on their toys. I highly recommend it.

My son got this as a gift last Christmas when he was 8 months old. As soon as we took off the paper, he started playing with this while it was still in the packaging. He wasn't interested in anything else that was going on. Now he is 20 months old and he still plays with his "uck" for a good portion of every day. At one point it was sticking on the horn and honking constantly. I thought the button might be stuck, but once I replaced the batteries, it was as good as new. I think it is neat that each of the animals makes it respond differently when they are put into the driver's seat, and my son likes all the buttons and the cars. He'll even take the animals and line them up on the window sill. Apparently, they also make good teething toys, because he chews on their heads quite a bit. Considering the amount of action this toy sees on a daily basis, it it holding up wonderfully. I have had to reattach the back gate/ramp a couple times, but that's only because my son likes to throw/drop his toys to see what will happen and it landed wrong. My son got this for Christmas last year when he was 1 1/2. He's now pushing 2 1/2 and he still plays with it all the time. There are so many songs, sometimes we still hear one we've never heard before. He has a great time playing with the little cars and putting other cars he owns on the truck. The little cars also fit Fisher Price Little People in them, so we play with it a lot with that and with his Duplo's. I love toys that can be combined with other systems. Great for any little one who likes trucks and rolling things around!

This is not very sturdy and is very hard to keep level. You are supposed to have the blue knobs on the legs be perfectly lined up with their angles to keep level and if this gets moved slightly the blue knobs on the bottom can move and then the whole trampoline is not stable for the kids to jump on. And my child simply put her foot on the front under the bar and had a hold of the bar and it tipped over. After one time watching her play with this I would not recommend others to order this at all or from this company! I emailed customer service to tell them the situation and they said I couldnt return product even within the month of ordering the product and with original box. they didnt work with me at all and I am never ordering from this company at all. They said, "you can return product if it not used and in new condition." Well I guess the only way you can return a product to them is by looking at the box and without trying it! I bought this for my daughter who is almost 2 1/2. It is really too small and does not have much bounce. I could see how it would be great for a 1 year old but or even a little younger but the amount of use you could get out of it seems limited. Also, I had a pretty hard time putting it together. It probably would have been easier if I had waited for my husband to get home so we could do it together. But my daughter was so excited to have it that I really wanted to assemble it for her. It was such a let-down when I did. She bounced on it a couple times but it did not seem that bouncy. Then she went back to jumping on the couch.

This costume is appropriately sized and not too heavy, so if you live in a climate that's not very cold, your child won't overheat in it. It's soft and bright, but I have to say I wish the horns were bigger. They are very small and don't stand up well, so it's a little difficult to see them. Also there is no tail. I purchased a FELT DEVIL TAIL separately, which my son promptly tried to pull off. I also added a Devil Costume Pitchfork, and honestly my little one had more fun with this than anything else. I like the wings, though a lot of devil costumes don't have wings and this was a cute addition. Overall, this was an adorable costume and a good choice for my rambunctious toddler.
In many ways this is a great toy, we like the sound, weight, bright colours BUT the mallet is VERY DANGEROUS for small babies, especially those teething who will stick everything in their mouths. Although the edges are rounded that will not prevent the ends getting STUCK in your baby's mouth. While happily playing and chewing my nine month old got the end of the mallet JAMMED between the roof and bottom of his mouth. Horrible experience, fortunately he was fine but it could easily have become a real nightmare. DO NOT GIVE THE MALLET TO BABIES. Save this toy for when chewing and exploring with the mouth are long over.

Received this as a gift for my then 1 year old daughter. I'd seen a lot of xylophones in the stores, but they sounded AWFUL (either an incomplete scale or WAY out of tune). This one seems to be a true scale, not musician quality, but you can play little tunes on it. The mallet looks flimsy, but has withstood my daughter's vigorous play. The frame is solid. After playing with all of the xylophones in the stores and finding at least one bar out of tune, I searched on Amazon, and found this little guy. No bells and whistles, but it is actually IN TUNE!!! This is the only xylophone I could find for babies that is actually in tune! It plays a complete scale (C to C) so we can play recognizable songs on it easily (fun!) plus it has the added educational value of teaching little ones what a scale should sound like. I really like the plastic edges, which cover up the sides of the keys so babies can't chew on them. The mallet is plastic too and seems safe to me. It's nice that the mallet attaches to the back of the xylophone so we don't loose it.
I love this toy for my little girl! It is colorful (so it catches her interest), it has noisy parts, it has crinkly parts, it has parts she can teethe on, etc. You can also use this toy in different ways: baby can hold it in her hands, you can hang it from a play gym, you can attach it to a tummy time pillow, etc. I definitely recommend it for anyone who has a little girl!

My mom bought this doll for my daughter when she was first born and 2 1/2 years later she still cannot go anywhere without it! I love that the doll is soft and well made, so I never worried about putting it in the crib with my daughter, and she just simply loves it. My daughter is 2 1/2, and she carries this doll with her everywhere. She sleeps with it every night, and treats her as if she's another sister. After a year and a half of non stop playing, and washing, the doll started to show wear, and started to get some holes (which would be normal for the amount of play time the doll gets). My mother found the same doll at the store, so we switched out the old one for the new one. Dolly went into the washer dirty, and came out brand new :) The only difference in the dolls are the bottom of the feet. The first doll had white on the bottom with dots on it, the second one did not. The one with a smooth bottom has started to show wear much quicker than the one with the dots.
I got this for my granddaughter, and we put it on her stroller. She is just now seeing it, and reaching for it. She is just over 3 mos. old. It's cute!

we purchased this for our grandson for Valentines' day. He has not received it yet and is only 2 months old but I truly believe he will love the colors, music, flashing lights and other sounds it makes. I wish it had more interactive noises/sounds/ visual affects. IE push he bottom of his feet or his ears and a sound would happen-like a squeak. Our 2 year old granddaughter loved it at Christmas!! Had a hard time getting it away ftom her.
My four month old son received this as a gift this past Christmas and it is a cute toy that he seems to enjoy quite a bit. He likes the noise it makes when he shakes it and the textured ring to hold onto and put in his mouth (though it's not really a soft textured teething toy). As a parent, I like it because it is a toy that makes a sound based on input from our son but it does not require batteries or use electronics. Another nice thing about this toy is that while it makes a sound when shaken, it's not too loud or overly annoying and requires a fair bit of input to make a noise (in other words, it's not super aggravating by making a loud noise with the smallest of motion). It's also really cute!

Bought it of my 6 month baby. He loved the toy. The tweeting sound attracts him a lot. The material is hard so I constantly watch him while he plays with it so that he don't hit himself with it.
This float was a vacation godsend! I had spent all kinds of money on fancy contraptions to introduce my 5 month old to the water on a recent vacation, but all the babies in the pool when we got there had "my baby float." Baby was a bit nervous her first time in the pool without a float, and I worried she wouldn't take to the water, but we put her in "my baby float" and she was so happy.... it seemed to make the pool feel less big and overwhelming for her. There is no doubt that any baby using this product should be watched at ALL times, but the criss-cross seat does a good job of supporting her in the water and still letting her legs be free. The other reviewer mentions that the inner-tube sits lower than the outer tube it is designed to be that way, and wasn't a problem at all. I am not sure what the issue for that reviewer was, unless she was using it wrong. I highly recommend this as a cheap, fun thing to bring along on any pool trip. I appreciated that a small baby didn't get lost in it. And best part, when deflated it is flat and folds up really small. Best $5 I ever spent -totally changed our vacation.

We took our 4 month old son on his first vacation to a waterpark. He was about 16lbs at the time when we went. I know the float says it's for 1-2 years old or up to 25lbs I believe, but we used it anyways. He is able to sit up on his own, so we thought it would be okay. He absolutely LOVED it! We had a blast because of this thing. It allowed us to keep our hands free, let him kick around under our supervision. We were able to pull him around in the water, it really made our vacation a good time. Other reviews state that the little tabs that you blow the air into pop open, we didn't have a problem. I purchased this as a second float for my toddlers since they each wanted to float in the higher quality one that we have. I figured I'd get a cheap second and that was a mistake. After only using it a couple times the flap between the legs that keeps baby from falling into the water snapped. Thankfully we keep the kids right next to us even while in floaties, because otherwise my child would have gone plummenting under water. Spend a little extra and get something that will last all summer and that you can relax and know your child is safe.
These toys are cute. And even though I could have found one at a specific retail store (they retail for $5.99) for half the price of what Amazon charges, I bit the bullet and bought one from Amazon.com anyway. When it got to the house, it sounded like a dying cat. It had been turned on before it was shipped and that poor elephant had giggled all the way from Amazon's warehouse to my doorstep. As you can imagine, it was pretty tired of giggling and the batteries completely died in the living room. So, not only did I spend $10 too much to BUY this toy, but now, I have to buy new batteries for it (and not cheap batteries either...those little round disc batteries!). I will be returning this toy to Amazon.com and I will be going to the retail store like I should have in the first place.
I picked this little drum up for my grandson and he really loves it. He has a little plastic baseball bat that he bangs on it with and since he's at the age of noise and bangs he has a great time. He enjoys the music and also he likes to listen to the voice talk to him.. It's very durable, he likes to stand on it in the playpen to get a better view. I also like the idea that I can lower the sound and the lights are also intriguing. I'd recommend it highly as I feel he will probably even enjoy it when he gets a little older so he can learn to follow the pattern of beats.

My in-laws got my son this toy for Christmas (he was 7 months old). I never saw it before, but knew leap frog from the pre-school toys. It is the perfect size and he just loves it. I like that it will grow with him, unlike so many toys out there. Right now I put it on the music setting and he likes hitting it and hearing the music. He's discovered that it even works by hitting the sides and bottom of the drum! And another nice feature is that it turns itself off after a minute or so if my son crawls away to play with something else.
Both of my children have these "flatsos" and they are fantastic! They wash up really well and stay soft and together. My son is 3 and has loved his well (every nap/night)! Definitely a nice gift for a new baby!

I bought this costume for my daughter for Halloween. It arrived promptly within the time allotted. The dress is a sateen and the stitching is of average quality (I'm a seamstress) and I don't forsee it lasting more than a few occasions. The quality of the dress is not what has disappointed me. The "wig" is more of a head dress, and it is ridiculously large. When my daughter wears it, she looks like The Preditor (ya know, like from the movie?!?!), or it looks like a sorry attempt at hair dreads. I've ended up removing the crown from the the wig and making her a new one with warm and sturdy tule, but I understand that not everybody if as crafty. I wish I would have found only a dress and saved a few bucks instead of paying for the deluxe and ending up not using what should have been the best part of the costume.

My daughter is 2 and loves Lalaloopsy, especially Jewel Sparkle. This costume is identical to the character. The dress is soft and shiny and lightweight. The shoe covers are adorable. The only issue was the wig. It's exactly like Jewel's and looked great but it was big and heavy. My daughter prefered to wear the costume without it. I was impressed that it came as a set. I've seen other Lalaloopsy wigs that are synthetic hair sold separately. This wig is yarn and very structured. The dress fit my 4 year old granddaughter perfectly. The "wig" very cute but was HUGE and wouldn't stay on, so we carried it most of the evening. Maybe it should have had ties to hold it on.
