The original price stated was way over the actual original price. I thought I was getting a bargain but actually paid the regular price. I was disappointed with the quality. Usually Plan toys are high quality. I haven't given it to a child to play with yet but I have doubts as to how long it will hold up. I also wonder if these may be Plan rejects as the paint quality is also poor.

This is my first experience with your company, and will probably be my last. I ordered 2 Modern vehicles; listed price of $6.49 (on sale) from the original price of $43.00.....there is NO way this item could have sold for that amount! It is miniscule and poorly made....I will NOT give this toy to either of my grandchildren for whom I ordered them. Actually, they are not worth the price I paid. I ordered 6 kaleidesopes also....they are worth the sale price. I will give your company credit for great communication.

The idea of this pull-back car is nice, with the big wheel's design painted on it to look cool while it is spinning, but the car is built cheaply. It is much too delicate for a toddler boy. When mine arrived, one was bent at the axle and wouldn't pull backbroken before the kids even got to it. They were going to be stocking stuffers, but I sent them back, they would never last(axle area made of really thin metal wire) and they are a bit pricey for that.

These vehicles were so cute when they came out of the box. My 3 wanted them instantly and began playing with them right away. For the first half hour he had a blast as initially they were easy to use. Just pull back and away they go. However within an hour or so one of the axles had bent rendering that toy virtually useless because although you could still wheel it around it would not pull back and go. Within two days the axles were bent on both of them and my son lost interest. I did manage to bend them back but the pullback doesn't work on one and the rubber came off of the tires on the other. If I had it to do over I wouldn't have purchased these.

Munchkin Wonder Waterway Bath Tub Toy

I love how the only two five star reviews are from people who ordered it to give as a gift and have never even seen the toy in use! Uh...does it help anyone to know that it looks like the picture? We received this as a gift, from someone who thought it looked fun. It does look fun.

This toy doesn't work, and it never has worked for us.

The idea is cute: fill up the cup on top, and it will trickle down causing the top section to whirl, the middle section the move little balls around, and the final section to spin. On ours, only the penguin part works. Our penguin stays up pretty well, so it can collapse if you want it to, but you can also watch the interior twirl. It does twirl a little, kind of slowly.

If you fill the middle section, it has trouble filling, and then it has trouble draining. The balls do nothing. It does rattle when empty, but...this is a bath toy that doesn't do anything special in the water.

If you fill the bottom section, it drains out the bottom. The thing in the middle does not spin.

If you keep the pieces connected, on ours, the top twirls minimally. Nothing else happens at all. If you separate the pieces, the starfish part in the middle drains with a pattern. Sometimes. If the water doesn't get stuck. The fish on bottom still does nothing.

I think we're probably just going to throw this away. If you're considering buying this (for your kiddo or as a gift) save your money or buy something else. Anything else. Worst Bath Toy Ever!

I bought these in a large retail store for my son, who really had no bath toys. He is the third child and most of the toys we had were just plain gross and we threw them out. He went crazy for this toy when he saw it in the package and it was reasonably priced, so I bought it.

This was fun for the first bath, but after that, it really didn't work anymore. The parts do drain well, which is very nice. However, if they get any soap stuck in them from bubbles, etc, the inside pieces get stopped up and will not turn. The pieces still float, are easy to find in the tub and can be shaken, etc, but the main point of the toy is lost.

The penguin piece collapses when it is not being held up so that the spiral is not showing most of the time. This was not a problem, really, it is just not clear in the picture.

I purchased this because my son was getting bored of his "baby" toys in the bath tub. He really loves water coming out of things and I figured he'd like to see things spin when water went through them. Unfortunately these toys don't really do much. If you have them pulled apart they work better than when they're together. Not sure if this is meant to sit under the faucet, but when you fill the top one with water, it doesn't do anything for the whole toy.

My 15 month old daughter Lily loves this toy! It plays so many songs and sounds, and it not annoying like a lot of her other toys. All the animals are great because even though they are larger then some of the other toys on the market, it doesn't hurt when you step on them in the meddle of the night!!!

I got this for my daughters 1st birthday and have to say she loves it. The sturdy animals and ark make it brilliant for a little one. The music is not as annoying as some toys and at least they are a bit educational, telling you about the animals on board the ark. She can push it along and also spin the drum to get the music to play which makes a change as some toys are so hard to activate for a child. She loves all the animals, especially since she can chew on their ears etc when she is teething. This is the coolest drum I've seen. Soem that I've seen have a really cheap top that could easily be punctured...and they are over 20 bucks... this one is very thick and sturdy for only a bit more. I just can't believe how good the quality is. The sound the mallots make on it are incredible. I'm really pleased. I got it for my daughter's 2nd birthday (she LOVES drums) and she absolutely loves it, and it is something that will grow with her. Such great quality and an amazing price.

I got this drum for my son's 4th birthday. He was excited to get it. I don't mind the sound at all. It is not a loud annoying sound like some cheap toys are. We also had the large lollipop Remo drum already, which we all enjoy. I also have a 18 month old. There is a mallet for each of them and they both play on it at the same time. But, I put the mallets up when not in use because these mallets are wrapped and tied. Lollipop mallet is not wrapped. I highly recommend both drums. The large lollipop has a lower pitch than the floor tom. My husband and I also find it hard to resist playing on them. We plan to add to our collection of Remo kids drums. Also, it is great that they are made in the USA.

3 Boats In The Tub

Not the best design for a boat because the top fills with water and doesn't float properly. But my boys have these and have used them inside the bath and in their outdoor water table. They are durable and haven't faded in the sun. Overall good buy for the price.,

Though these boats are cute, and sized well for a childs hand, they tend to float tipped over. When they are tipped over, they dont connect together very well either. Bright, and cute, but overpriced.

I got a previous version of one of these for my daughter as a gift. I was skeptical, but amazed at the calming effect it had during our 9 hour road trips to visit family. I pulled it out years later for my son and just lost it in a rental car switch. I am very eager to get a new one. I highly recommend it. My children are road warriors and this makes the trip more pleasant for us all.

Our baby HATED riding in the car until we got this toy. He would just scream and scream. But now when we put his car seat into the car, he is captivated by these pictures and will stare at them and then fall asleep. So this toy has been a real lifesaver for us. I have a 3 month old son, and I bought this about a month ago when we were planning a vacation that would have us on the road for 18 hours. It definitely helped. I also got a Fisher Price auto mirror similar to the $12.99 version on this site (I got it at Toys 'R' Us) which he enjoys looking at himself in--and I can see him too, which is a plus. For some young children, it is a security blanket or stuffed animal they carry around with them. For my 2 year old son, it is this Taggies ball that jingles when shaken that is his "security blanket". He sleeps with it,takes it in the car with him, into the grocery store, throws it, kicks it, rolls it down the slide, etc. It washes easily and dries quickly by setting it on a clean, dry surface. We have about 5 taggies balls at homesome are different colors, but have the same concept. That's how much he loves them! My five month old loves this ball! it is one of the few items he can grab and hold. He pulls it toward him by grabbing a tag, then holds it in front of him shaking it, by squashing it between 2 hands. The jingle inside is great and not obnoxious at all. Definitely recommend it. Well, I'm glad this is a ball that might be used later on. At 8 months now, my daughter has continued her love of tags and I've really been wanting to buy a "Taggies" product because I really thought she'd be drawn to them. But the tags aren't like the tags on our shirts/blankets/pillows etc. These are just ribbons folded in half and she really doesn't give two hoots about it. My four year old wanted to get this for her little sister for her bday. I got it and brought it home and gave it to the one year old. She loved it. She just started crawling (preemie) and she loved chasing the wobbly people, it really motivated her to move. She did not understand the house all that well but she enjoyed watching the tumblers go through the passages. My four year old has played with it just as much as the one year old. It is something small, colorful and fun. I am thinking of buying this for my 3 month old niece for Christmas.

I have twin one year old boys and they are enjoying this toy and dropping the little topzy tumblers in the main hole and chewing on them in between. My only complaint is that the funhouse does not stand on its own once a child starts playing with it. We have to ensure it is up against their play pen or a wall for them to play with it. But it still falls over alot. Maybe it will be better as they get older and control objects better. The size of the funhouse is short, but good for a sitting baby. I wish they had a funhouse that was twice as tall.

My 16 month old daughter loves carrying around her Topzy Tumblers, and we thought this would be a great accessory for them. Little Tikes Rocking Horse Magenta

I have two older children, who are 6 and 8 and whom have enjoyed many little tikes toys over the years. I bought this for my niece's first birthday. This rocking horse is perfect for a child age 1 to 3. The seat is very low, so its easy for a little one to climb into, unlike a lot of the really cute adorable rocking horses you see out there which look great, but are just too challenging for the age. The toy is also very solid, there is no chance as long as the child isn't doing anything extreme that it will fall over onto its side while they are rocking in it.

Little tikes toys are very high quality, this toy will easily last through several children, on to a yard sale and through a few more families. It is all one piece, so there isn't anything to chip or break off. This has become one of my niece's (now 16 months) favorite toys. Highly recommended!

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Bat and Wobble Penguin

This was a compromise when I bought the Fisher-Price Crawl-Along Drum Roll for our daughter (Daddy picked the drum, mommy picked the penguin).

We have had no problems with this toy. You put in the 80's favorite size of batteries (C, nothing else but the Fisher-Price Open Top Take-Along Swing Rainforest and an old boom box run on C batteries) and it's weighted fine. Maybe it didn't pop up because batteries weren't in there. The batteries add weight to make the whole thing work as intended.

It wasn't hard to blow up. The valve is more "industrial" than most valves, so I agree that it takes more than blowing up a small beach ball, but I see that as added quality and not a knock.

The only issue so far, is that at medium range, our daughter is scared of the blasted thing. Close up, she is fine with it. She "bats" it and no problem. Far away, daddy hits it and she laughs. But at two-ish feet, she screams in bloody murder at the scary attacking penguin with the creepy clown-like "huuuuh-huuuh-huuuh-uh-huh" that it makes when "batted."

And the last thing that is just my two cents, but oh well. There is no real educational value to this toy. It's fun. But really, I see it as beginning self-defense training. It says somewhere on the box that it teaches your kid to "bat." What the heck is "batting" but "hitting?" I'm all about the real toys and sick of this PC stuff, which is why I'll train her to kick the thing in a month from her Johnny Jump-Up. But whatever. I thought I'd just add that.

When we got this we assumed that it was like the old style we had when we were younger where you could bat at it and it would fall down and then pop back up. Nope. It would fall down and then just lay there it wouldn't pop back up because of the way the battery compartment was. If you gently tap it with one finger it would wobble, but when my 12 mo old pushed it, it just fell over and did nothing. I had to keep setting it back up. My baby was bored after pushing it over 3 or 4 times. You'd be better off with the older style that doesn't use batteries.

First off, it was difficult to blow up. Then once I had it filled finally...the plug kept popping out. I had to tape it down! The noises it makes are very quiet. And after just a week it started to make an annoying buzzing noise, instead of the intended noises. It was a total waste of time and money.

Our baby took one look at this toy and crawled up on Daddy's head to get away from it. We waited a month and tried again but even at 9 months, the site of the Zombie Penguin as it is now known, was like seeing a clown. Must be the eyes. And the cat can't play with it because the toy falls over when pushed a lays there. I thought it would bounce back up. You can't bat and wobble it cause it just lays there. Tried to give it to a friend but her baby was petrified too. We had to hide him in the closet.

I bought this for my 11 month old because it reminded me of the blow up penguin that Sid the Science Kid has. My daughter wasn't scared by it like some, but it is not what I was thinking it would be. The bottom of the toy is hard plastic (where the batteries go) and my daughter has toppled on it multiple times and landed face first on the hard plastic! I don't think this toy is particularly safe for little ones because of this. Also, my daughter likes to pick it up by the tufts and slam it down onto the floor. That is fine for carpet but not so good if you have wood floors.

Like another reviewer said, the toy also doesn't pop back up everytime. Sometimes it just stays on it's side.

In summary, if your child is just sitting and not mobile this toy might be okay. If your child can crawl or walk stay away from this toy.

Durable Weather-Resistant Metal Rocking Seesaw

We got the box for this seesaw and it must have been previously opened (more than 4 times) because the box was completely taped together as if it had been ripped open over and over. The screws they provided was a culmination of random screws thrown together in a taped up baggy with whatever they could just to get the item out the door. None of the screws matched, 18 washers too short, and the holes did not align at all with the set up to screw in. The directions didn't even match up with the type of screws, washers, or bolts provided. My husband is a construction engineer who has put together MANY items for our children. This by far was the most difficult and frustrating one.

Mary Meyer Earthmates Fuzz that Wuzz, Moozzzz Cow, 10-Inches

I first encountered "Fuzz that Wuzz" in a bookstore, and liked the idea of creating plush toys from soda bottles. Especially as I drink a lot of diet soda, and send the bottles off for (I hope) recycling.

So when shopping for my niece's first birthday I picked up four critters from this series: a cow, a horse, a bear, and an elephant. All seem to be well made, and baby friendly. They tend to be on the more stuffed and therefore more rigid side of plush, and while soft enough they are not as luxurious as some plush. Thus they are better suited for play than for cuddling.

Moozzzz is a cute little cow who stands upright and shows off her classic Holstein pattern.

This thing is incredibly cute but the outside is rough like a military grade wool blanket from the army surplus store.

Swimways Baby Spring Float with Canopy - Green Turtle

I purchased this in hopes that it would be good for my infant. It is even better than I thought. It is easy to blow up, and the materials are quite strong and good. The mesh seat is great for them to sit in and easy on their legs/bottom since it is durable, flexible mesh. The float works wonderfully!!! My daughter loves it, and not only can she practice safely kicking, but she can also lay back and relax easily without water getting into her ears. I also have no worries with her toppling over at all in the float as it very stable (mainly because they designed it a little wider and more flat). I don't feel I have to hold the float at all except to put her in it (even though still I do, at least I don't feel I have to hold it steady).

I am so pleased with this product and I believe any of the different design versions from Swimways should be just as great. Good job on designing this sturdy, EASY TO USE, float!
