I bought this toy for my newborn, and she has really warmed up to it (especially the sunshine side). I think it will also serve as a nice lesson on daytime and nightime when she's older, as it has a sun on one side and a moon on the other. The toy seems very durable, with nice bright colors and strong construction. If I could change one thing, it would be the hanging hook, which won't open to put it around large bars. You have to put it around a string or a thin bar.

Aside from that, I plan on buying more of these Lamaze products for my curious little daughter.

There are so many ways for baby to engage self with this one little toy, it's amazing! The little blue square with the parrot on it is a rattle baby can bat or jostle for several minutes of fun. Bee is a sweet little squeak toy. Star is a textured teether. And the textured rings are a nice touch as well. All of these in addition to the different colors and textures of the cute, cute sun. And then there is the adorable moon on the reverse side. Of course, the faces on the sun and moon are fun for baby, too. It's easy to see how the use of this toy will grow with baby so it will be useful for several months or longer. A very impressive little toy. It should be on every new mom's must have list.

Our 5 month old twins have had several Lamaze toys like this one. They absolutely love them. We first got this one at 4 months. They were completely taken by the sunny face and wealth of things to grab onto. Now at 5 months, they've started specifically zeroeing in on what they want to grab on this toy as it hangs over them on their playmat. They love to chew on the knotted sun rays. I highly recommend the Lamaze toys in general.

My baby is only 6 weeks old so she has not had a chanse to really enjoy it, but the colors have cought her eye. It is actually bigger than anticipated. Not sure how to clean the body part of itI am a germ-a-phobe so will have to figure that part out.

These are really cute, but lack much function. I am all for children using their imagination in play, but if one is going to buy a "toy" it should offer some interactive ability. It is too bulky for the assigned age group, the baby cannot grip the nesting box pieces to put them together and having a parent do it doesn't making it any move exciting. A much better toy for the 46 month and up age is the Tiny Love Musical Stack & Play.

I understand the reviews from others about these nest-n-play animals. They are very soft, so I can see how it may be difficult for a very small child to be able to get them to stack properly. I actually ordered them because I was thinking of using them to organize various items (like diaper cream, powder, etc.) in the nursery. I may be able to use the largest for this purpose, but not the other two. The picture (even with the baby) makes them look larger than they are.

This was the first toy (other than plush animals) I bought for my baby, who was around 3 months old at the time. It was one of the few toys I could find for that age. When it arrived, I was sort of unimpressed. But over time (the baby is now 8 months old), this toy has grown on both of us.

It is true, as others have said, there's not much to do here. The nesting function is still beyond my child's awareness so he pretty much just grabs the boxes and holds them. The largest one, the elephant, is definitely the favorite. It has an appealing face, crinkly ears, a ribbon for hair, and 3D butterflies sewn onto the sides. Baby just seems drawn to the sweetness of the largest block.

The tiny purple monkey doll that fits into the smallest block seemed kind of like a throwaway added-on accessory to me, but the baby sometimes will play with that thing for 30 min or more. It is nice to watch him just study it and take comfort in it.

Now with the baby a little bit older, we also use the largest block as a holder for the baby's Peek-a-Blocks and he enjoys removing them one-by-one. We also use the largest elephant block as a HAT! And that is probably the most fun of all. It is hilarious.

Recommended because it's simple, cute, inexpensive, doesn't make noise, and as he ages, the baby develops different ways to enjoy the simple pleasure that can be found here.

My baby loves this toy. He has since he was about 10 weeks old. He first started out swatting the faces which make either krinkle or rattle noises. The heads of the zebra and lion flip over. He loves to flip them around. The boxes are soft and light. He will pick them up and bring them to his mouth. I like to unstack the three boxes and put them in a semi circle around him. He independently plays with them for up to 30 minutes which is a long time for a baby that's not quite 3 months old. He verbalizes a lot when these toys are out. We've gotten much more response out of this simple colorful toy than anything else.

These are cute and colorful. He likes to put other things in the blocks too. The one thing I'm not sure of is washing. The box says nothing about it. I'm worried that they might not hold their shape in the washer, because they are soft.

Child Hannah Montana Quality Costume

I purchased the Hannah Montana Child Costume for my daughter's Halloween parties and Trick-or-Treating. The costume was as it appeared in the picture and it arrived on time. However, there was a stain on the front of the costume, which should have been noticed prior to shipping. Additionally, the costume was slightly smaller than advertised. My recommendation is to have a shipping date with plenty of time to exchange a damaged costume and to order it one size larger than what our child normally wears

Let's just say that the product looks better in the picture and for the price, I do not think it was worth it...but if the child gets enjoyment from it, it's OK.

I was a little confused by this costume. It came with the tank sewed wrong. They were twisted at the shoulders so I had to take the stitching out and sew it back. The bottoms were fine, it looks itching but my daughter had no problem.

Just as pictured (except it had no shoe covers as some did which I didn't really realize). The shirt however was sewn across the shoulders in a twisted fashion. Not made for washing and reusing and the belt applique was half missing before the couple hours of wearing it was over. Like I said, it was just as pictured and served its purpose well for Halloween.

I bought this for a a friend's baby for Christmas. It's a great toy; has great colors and it's good for their fine motor control.

a friend gave my son this toy when he was just starting to eat solid foods and it has been on the high chair ever since. (1.5 years!) it's a welcome distraction when i need to shovel food in his mouth and he loves counting the beads and naming the colors. yes, if he pulls hard, it comes off, but it's also very durable and easy to clean. Like the wagon if the company would have put the wheels on correctly. They are too tight so the wheels will not turn. I took wheel hubs off and saw that the piece that holds the wheels on was put on past the indent on the rod. I had to cut all the pieces off and buy new parts. Bad assembly by Little Tikes.

Sesame Street Full Body Puppets

The Elmo puppet is soft and cuddly, and good quality. My son giggles when he sees it. Only issue is the 'puppet' mouth is hard to open and close. It's really stiff and my hand gets sore after a minute or two.

This Snuffy puppet is made from very soft material and is sewn together well. You put your hand in through the tummy area and opening/closing the mouth raises/lowers the snuffle (trunk). My daughter loves it and thinks it is so funny. I love the Gund puppets, they are well made and so cute and cuddly.

We bought this Elmo puppet to play with our 5 month old son. He really enjoys the puppet. When you first buy it, the mouth is slightly difficult to move, but after 30 min of play it moves easily. Also the puppet is very soft and has bendable arms.

Although large enough for an adult to use, the puppet will still be good for a child size hand.

My only complaint is that the body of the puppet is a little wide (probably to allow for large arms).

Silly Safari Costume, Dino-Mite Costume

I ordered this costume for my 4 year old, and it is great, but way too small for the labeled size. I ordered "Toddler" which is supposed to be 2-4 years. My 4 year old is small for his age, and fits a 3T perfectly, so I thought that would put him right in the middle of the sizing, but this costume was much too short in the torso (shoulders to crotch). Beware! Probably better for a 18 months 2 years old. The costume seems well made considering the price, and the print is fun and bright. Good enough for a Halloween costume, but might not last long with rough play at home, the fabric is a little thin. It has a jumpsuit with velcro strips up the back, and the feet are shoe covers with a small strap to go under the shoe. The head is separate, and is elasticated at the back to hold it snug, with a velcro fastener to go under the chin. The snout part is padded with soft filling, so it stays plump, but is not too heavy, so it doesn't fall down over his face. Then the hands are mittens. I think this is a great costume and good value for the price, just order a size up from the marked sizing.

Runs really small. We took it on a road trip and had to get another costume because it was too small. Our son is only 40.5 inches tall. The torso wayyyyy toooo small

We were very pleased with the quality of this costume. The material is very soft (like pajamas) and the pattern/style is just great. It may not be ultra durable, but it's just fine for a costume. I read the other reviews and purchased the 4T size for our 23 month old, 35" tall son. I'm glad we did because it fits just right if maybe a little long at the ankles, but putting on shoes solved that. Our son just loves being a "T. Rex" roaring and stomping around the living room. He is really excited to "have a tail" which he wags with enthusiasm and showed to everyone. We can't wait to take him out in it on Halloween! It will probably be a cool evening, so we are again glad we got the large size as it looks loose enough to accommodate a jacket underneath on his small frame. We looked into making a costume, but we couldn't even purchase just the material for the $15 this cost with Free shipping! Hopefully our positive experience will help others judge this item for their purposes. :-)

Winfun Letter Train And Piano Activity Table

This was one at the lower end of the activity table price range, so I was a little wary. But I found a FEW reviews, here and on other sites, and though there weren't many, they were all good.

I don't know why more people don't buy this table! It is very cute. I have friends with other tables, including the Leap Frog, and Fisher Price, and I think there is more to do on this table. I got this for my son when he was around 8 months old. At that point, he mainly used it to practice standing up. He loves banging on it, so many different pieces make noise.

I like that it is gender neutral. It has everything from butterflies to trains. The little train always comes off (it is supposed to), but it has never gotten lost. I hope it doesn't, because he isn't really old enough to understand what it does yet. That is something else I love about this table, I can see how he will be able to use it as he gets older.

The only downside to this table, is that the legs aren't as sturdy as some other tables I've seen. This was only a little bit of a problem when he was trying to pull himself up to in the very beginning. It has never fallen, but I was a little worried it might. Now that he is more skilled (and probably taller) he is able to pull up to it without any problem at all.

I really like this table, I would recommend it to anyone with a little one. For the price (I paid $30), it is well worth it!

I am so glad I found this activity table for my 16-month old! For months I've wanted to get her an activity table, but I wasn't able to find one that I liked or wasn't worried about it having lead or something. Every parent looking for a fun activity table that isn't annoyingly repetitive this is the table for you. It has a ton of different songs, sounds and stations for kids to play with. I wish it was taller or at least had adjustable legs --our daughter is about 30inches tall and it hits her right below her tummy-overall it was shorter than we were expecting. The train isn't attached to the table so your kiddo can play with it around the house, but when its on its little track on the activity table it can activate 3 little buttons which make noise, play a song etc., which was a fun thing to discover. It has the "standard" two volume option which is great, my husband and I didn't find it overly loud like some of her other toys. The piano keys play real notes versus some toys where they play songs or other random sounds when pressed. Oh, and I think it's pretty gender neutral. I highly recommend this toy.

This table is awful. The legs are so weak and not sturdy at all. The table kept falling over on my daughter every time she tried to play with it. The activities were ok if I took the legs off and she played with it on the floor. but the whole point is for her to stand up and play. Very dangerous.. sending it back.

This is exactly what I wanted: a well-designed, well-painted hammer board with no bells or whistles for a kid to just hammer the heck out of when she was needing to "express herself" (i.e., hit something other than her parents). This is the closest to the old-fashioned one you knew and whacked as an energetic, frustrated toddler/teenager. The pegs put up a good degree of resistance, the hammer is well-sized and well-made, the whole thing flips over so one can start over again immediately, and the experience is satisfying, even for Mom and Dad. There's even a hole to stick the hammer in. Watch out, kitty. This is the one you want.

I love the way this is constructed. Very good quality, but the pegs are too tightly positioned in the holes.

It's practically impossible for me to pound the peg thru. I'm trying to figure out how to file down the insides

to make them pound thru a little more easily.

My 8 month old son showed a lot of interest in a similar toy at a friend's house so I chose this model because it is not made in china and the mallet didn't have a sharp square head. The handle of the mallet is shorter than most I've seen and thicker which I like since my son prefers to stand and wave things around a lot. I'm pleased with The quality and size. Unlike other reviewers, I feel the pegs are just as tight as they should be (using some kind of clear gasket in the holes). He doesn't have the faintest idea that the mallet is for pounding the pegs, but I expected that and am glad he will get more function out of the toy as he grows. For now, he had a hammer that doesn't make me cringe when he stands up and waves it around. I also am pleased with the company's dedication to non toxic toys since everything a child this age comes into contact with inevitably goes in his mouth. I will be buying more from this company.

Update, my son is now almost 17 months old and this by far his favorite toy. He has mastered the hammering action and flipping the board to continue his fun. This has held up very well to being banged repeatedly every day for months. I love having something he likes so much when he needs his hammering activities appropriately focused. He likes being able to pound them completely free of the board so we get the extension activities of stacking the pegs, counting them, discussing the colors, and putting them back into the holes. I also get to chase the pegs when they roll off and under odd things, but it's worth it for all the enjoyment he gets from this toy. I'd buy this again, but I am very glad I didn't wait until the 18 month mark.

DO NOT GIVE THIS UNSAFE TOY TO YOUR CHILD. While getting my daughter ready for bed, I discovered that her tongue black. I tried to clean it, but it would not come off at all I asked grandma if she ate any prunes for the day? No (not that the organic food I feed her should have any dye). Grandma said that all day she played and chewed on this new elephant she got. I decided to examine the elephant and was shocked and enraged to see that when i wiped the flag on the top of the elephants nose, yellow and red dye easily got onto the washcloth. This manufacter will be hearing from me and I will ensure that this toy doesnt get into the hands or mouth of any other babies!

I really like this toy, but it is a little big for what I had wanted it for. I wanted to be able to take it in the stroller and car, but like I said it is larger then most stroller toys. over all it will be great for her to use in the home.

Colorfun Ball Primary

My almost 11 month old has a blast when we play "roll the ball" together. It is very bright and holds her attention, plus it is soft and has a pleasant little twinkle when it is rolled. It's a nice change from all the other electronic sounds that come out of baby toys these days!

The only complaint that I have is the price, but as much as we have played with this, it has been worth the [price]!

We received this ball 11 years ago, when our first son was born--now our third son is four and still loves playing with it, and we're looking forward to handing it down to our new baby when he is born. It's sturdy, soft, has a nice soft chiming sound, and the colors engage the baby's interest. It's been used in so many indoor games, and has held up perfectly. I'm considering buying another one in case my four year old is reluctant to pass it on to his younger sibling! An excellent baby gift for new parents.

The current ball being shipped out does not have the words on the ball for each color (as in the customer images). The only picture that accurately represents the ball is the first one. Little Mommy Bedtime Baby

I have the Little Mommy doll and a lot of accessories and my two-year old daughter loves them. It has been durable and sturdy, but most of all fun. I can't believe more accessories or related products are not available.

I am confused by some of the poor reviews. Some seem wrong our doll's high chair does not have a cardboard tray (it is hard plastic like the rest of the chair). Others seem picky...complaining about a high forehead? This doll is not meant to be realistic, change the world, or project a certain kind of attitude (like Bratz). It's a doll meant for really small children. That's it. And by that criterion, this doll is a total success.

If you want a 100% realistic doll or one that is more about attitude than fun, then don't buy this doll. It is not for you. But don't criticize it when it doesn't meet your expectations. Complaining about this product is like complaining about a refrigerator for not heating your food or complaining about a record player that doesn't play CDs.

This doll is very sweet and my daughter (18 months) likes her a lot. In fact she has taken her to pre-school a couple times and the doll got very dirty.

Then we found out that because of the battery and electronics you can only surface wash the doll -and since she is made of cloth that is pretty hard to do.

Also, to make the doll make noise, you have to find the button with two fingers (one underneath the dolls toy) and squeeze it. My daughter can find the button, but to make it play she has to ask for help. After all that music only plays for a moment.

I'm thinking about taking the electronics out so that I can at least give her a good handwashing.

This doll is cute, and the little lamb does light up and play a lullabye as advertised. Our doll looks just like the one in the picture. Our one disappointment was that the clothes are not removable. My daughter likes to dress her dolls in different outfits and was very surprised to discover the clothes are sewn right onto the doll. I think this makes the doll a great purchase for toddlers and young preschoolers, but not as appealing for older girls.

This doll was my 10 month olds first doll. It was bought instead of the glow worm, and I am glad for that decision. My daughters face lights up at the sound of a real baby before the music begins. With in an hour of having the doll she taught herself how to press the button for the music. This doll is simply great! The only problem I have is that she doesn't want to share it and cries when you try!

Huggable Ladybug Costume

I just purchased this costume for my 16 month old daughter. The costume arrived quickly and in original packaging. I am pleased with the appearance of the costume and feel that my daughter wil be comfortable in it for Halloween. It is definitely much thinner material than appears in the picture so I will just layer leggings and a long sleeved shirt underneath. The sizing is true to size. Overall I am happy with the costume but definitely wish it was made of a better fabric so I could wash it and save. Not sure this will last through a cycle in the machine.

I bought this toy for my girl friend. I am 30 and she is 28 and we talk about how we are eachothers lobsters because lobsters find a mate for life. She is in the military and is currently deployed. I wanted to get her a toy big enough for her to cuddle with at night and think of me. This worked out perfectly. it is just a little smaller then a standard pillow and VERY soft and fuzzy. Justice League Child's Robin Tutu Dress

My 3 yr old daughter LOVES this Robin costume and wears it frequently! I think that its adorable and loved the accesories that came with the costume(the details make this),but i did not like all of the glitter on the tutu

My daughter was livid when I bought her little brother the Batman costume and made her be the sidekick. She's a bit peculiar and has a handful of issues like Aspergers and SPD. We have to check everything to make sure it's not too hot, not too scratchy. We also like to have our costumes last until Comic Con so I can get an extra wearing out of them.

I was very pleasantly surprised with how cute and how well made the costume was. The mask didn't bother her, and I was sure it would. The top wasn't scratchy and the skirt was soft. PLUS it was CUTE! I don't think it gets any better than this.

I bought this for my daughter for Halloween (her brother was Batman). I was unsure how the quality of the costume would be, so many these days are just awful, this one however is fantastic! It is absolutely darling on her, fits great and will last for lots of dress up time in the future.

I loved this costume. It fit her well and had plenty of room for cloths to go under it. the mask was my favorite part because it was hard plastic and not cloth.

Alex Toys Super Cooking Set

This stainless steel set comes with a sauce pan & lid, frying pan & lid, slotted spoon, spatula, ladle, pasta ladle, whisk, colander, and a pot holder. The pieces are slightly different than the set at the official Alex website. I really like this set and my kids are having a blast with it. I bought this to accompany My First Stove and Super Baking Set. With he exemption of the little measuring cup from the baking set, all pieces fit into the stove for storage. The cup would have fit but it was slightly too high.

Nice stainless cooking toys. Achieved what we were going for when we bought it along with a toy kitchen set.

Word of caution: As soon as you get it, go ahead and superglue the little knob handles on the pot and pan lid. They will work themselves loose and fall off leaving the knob and the screw. Depending on how old your child is when he/she starts playing with this toy, it could be a swallowing/choking hazard.

Really cute little set. MUCH SMALLER than I expected the objects to be. I guess it's the right size for the kids' little hands, but the play food we have will not fit into these little tiny things! My son seems to like it a lot, though, so as long as he's happy cooking and eating his imaginary food, it's worth it!

We love these pots and pans! They're the perfect size for the Kidcraft pink and silver retro kitchen set that santa brought for Christmas! My 2 year old loves playing chef with these! The pieces are very tough, unlike cheap plastic sets. So realistic! Conveniently stores inside the cabinet of the play kitchen and includes every piece you'll ever need for hours of imaginative play! Great set at a great price!

Bought this for my 18mo daughter. Very cute set, like the real thing, she (and my 5yr old son) absolutely loves it. Only problem so far is the handle of one spoon has come off and a handle of one pot has come off. Not sure how to get it back on except to hot glue it since it looks like it was soldered on. Also if you happen to let them play w/ the set in the tub (we put a few pieces in the tub a couple times), the screw on the lid will rust. The rest is great. Have had the set for 5 months.
