Mobile Blossom Butterfly

My son is 6 weeks old, and we bought this when he was about 4 weeks and hung it above his changing table. He's been staring at it for a couple weeks but now he smiles and follows the butterflies when I spin them. He's started talking to them. I like that it's made of fabric so it's soft, each bug detaches with magnets and the center part which is mirrors and bells also Velcros off to be each own toy. I also really like that even those it's 'butterflies' it's not very girly and goes with our bug theme. I will definitely purchase more Haba toys in the future.

This mobile is perfect. It is very good quality for the price. It looks great and my 3 month old daughter likes it. The "butterflies" are attached by magnets so they can be taken off and played with. The colors are vibrant but not over the top. Although the butterflies don't look like actual butterflies, they are very cute. I also like that it hangs from the ceiling and doesn't play music. Over all very pleased with this mobile!

My daughter loved this mobile. The butterflies come off and are rattles, which is a fun touch. It washed great because its plush. The colors are vibrant, a bit more on the pastel side, and to me, it seems more befitting for a girls room.

Wonderworld Elephant Pounding Ball

I purchased this for my 19 month old. You really need to hit the balls hard to get them in, and then you physically have to swing open the trunk to release them. From the pictures, I thought when the balls dropped in, they would roll down and swing open the trunk showing "cause and effect". I think by the time she can hit them hard enough to get them to drop, this toy will not hold her attention, if the balls rolled out, it might. Good construction, cute. Wish I loved it

Wizard Of Oz Scarecrow Romper Costume

Got my son's first Halloween costume in today, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and feel of the fabric. It's very soft and not itchy. The only issue it's HUGE! The size says infant 0-6 months, but I compare it to the size of 6-9 months clothing. I'll have to do major alterations so that my (soon to be) 3 month old son can wear it, while his big sis dresses as Dorothy! : Great price, fast shipment, one star lost due to sizing issue. If you've got a big baby, go for it!

My 3 month old 15lb 26" son was way way too small for this. The hat fit my 6 year old. It is, however a very nice costume for the price! Just would be better suited to a 12-18month old

The size runs very big, so go by the weight of your child. My son weighed 20lbs at 16 months and the INFANT size (6-12 months) was very baggy on him. The costume itself was adorable and we got lots of compliments! It must have been quite comfortable, because he left it on (even the hat) the whole evening without tugging on it. The quality was not that great. The velcro that holds the pants section closed is stronger than the felt material of the costume, so be very careful when putting it on and taking it off. You can't just rip the velcro open like we do on most things. For one or two Halloween events in the fall, it should hold up just fine. I'm really glad we chose this costume. The price was right and my son looked adorable!

Triangles

Scared of all the 'bad' toys out there we recently discovered Haba. We bought 4 different Haba toys for my 7 month old and she loves them all. These triangles make a wonderful wood clanky noise that sounds very soothing. No batteries, no plastics, safe for her to 'munch' on. These feel so nice in the palm of my hand, they are brightly colored yet the wood grain still shows thru. My daughter is thrilled with these, very excitedly shaking them and gumming them. I had no idea who Haba was and now that I do I'm never going back!

If you are not familiar with Haba, you might look at this toy and scratch your head as to why anyone would pay over ten dollars for something that is made out of 6 little sticks and two rubber bands. If you are familiar with Haba, you already know. These triangles were my sons favorite toy (among many options) from the moment he could grasp to about seven/eight months. What makes this toy wonderful is that it is so easy to grab and manipulate for little hands. It makes a pleasant and natural wood on wood clanking sound. It is made in Germany (as opposed to China). The colors are vibrant and do a great job of not coming off even after repeated abuse.

For very young kids, you will not find a better toy in any price range.

My 3-month-old was given this for Christmas and I wasn't sure what to make of it. Well, he LOVES it! And this is why: It is the only toy that he has that is easy to hold (the triangles keep his hands in the toy), and he can put it in his mouth to soothe and he shakes it around. Honestly, I ordered this triangle toy because I saw all of the positive reviews, but I thought we would like the other two toys I ordered better, because this just looks too simple to be fun.

This is absolutely my daughter's favorite toy. She is 4 months old, and she loves this because of the bright colors, because it is just the right size for her to grasp, and it works well for shoving into her teething little mouth.

It also makes a nice little wooden rattle sound.

I am considering ordering several of these to keep on hand as a standard baby shower gift. That's how much my daughter loves this toy.

I can't recommend this enough. It has already calmed my daughter for many fussy episodes when I use it to distract her. I am posting a picture so that you can get an idea of the actual size of this toy.

My little 4 months old girl is hard to please. She gets quickly bored or very angry at toys (when she can't push them into her mouth). I wanted to give it a try and ordered several of the Haba wooden toys(even though they are recommended 6m+). All of them are of very good quality, however at this age she likes only two of them. 1.) this Triangle she loves, 2.) and the Kringelring she likes. The Triangle is simple but still complex,maneuverable enough to "work it", not just simply hold . It is nice and small, so can fit in small baby hands and mouth.

The other toys like the Flapsi, Trix, Moby clutching toy she will enjoy more probably in few weeks/months.

Update: Being pleased with Haba I now ordered the Magica toy from them. This is absolutely great! I would say that even better than the Triangle. So for younger baby I would recommend mainly the Triangle and Magica.

HABA's blocks are probably the best around in the market since they are bright and colourful, use safe water based dyes thus having no chemical smell, perfectly rounded edges at all sides, big in size to make it safe for smell kids to play with and excellent, smooth finishing on the wooden blocks with no splinters. They may come at a hefty price tag, but judging from the quality of the wooden toys, that price is totally worth it.

Eeny, meeny zoo did not disappoint either, retaining all the great qualities typical of HABA blocks. And they allow kids to explore many possiblilies of creating different animals of different shapes and sizes. All in all, a good buy.

The only thing that spolit my experience of getting this toy: the bad packaging this toy came in when I received it, the sorry state of the box and clear cover seem to indicate that the toy is a used item despite me ordering and paying for a new item. Though this is no fault of the manufacturer. The problem lies with the seller. Just something for consumer to take note of.

my three year old grandson loves building things with these original blocks. they help him use his imagination as they are fun shapes and faces and colors rather than the regular boring blocks. they are light so i am not afraid that his one year old sister will hurt herself or throw them and hurt someone. a bit expensive but adorable.

I decided that it was important for my son to have some quality blocks for Christmas. I am a reasearch-aholic and poured over reviews and suggestions before deciding on these. My son was 9 months at Christmas and these were an instant hit. Really the only thing he was digging from Santa's loot. They are extremely durable (he is 11 months not and loves to "hammer" everything) they serve as a clutch toy for learning to pick up and carry, a great teether, learning to stack, fill and spill (put them in a bucket) and a puzzle to but them back in the box. The colors are great and I have yet to find any mizzing or chipped paint.

I was expecting these to be soft plastic..something that could easily be cleaned especially since they are for 6 months +. They are actually cardboard. The designs and pictures are nice but any time my 9month old uses them, I will have to be right there with her to stop her from trying to chew them or crush them. Lullaby and Goodnight by Pockets of Learning

Because of the rave reviews I ordered this book for my daughters 1st Birthday. When I received the book I opened it up before wrapping it because I was so excited! I was very disappointed! First of all the teddy bear is supposed to play lullaby's...When I pushed the tummy it sounded like one of those awful hallmark buttons, you know, the ones that play your favorite anthem, happy birthday, etc. Then it died and made these popping and buzzing noises, and there is no way to replace the battery. It is not something that would soothe a baby or toddler to sleep even if it did work properly. Second, the milk and the soap were bigger than the bear it self, I don't get it? The bear is only 2 maybe 3 inches tall and cheap looking. And third, for a nice interactive bed time story, there is no story really. The pj's are difficult to put on the bear even for an adult. The only plus side is that the book is cute and the quality of the book and accessories (except the bear) were very nice. I sent it back for a refund, for me it was not worth the price.

We got this book at our baby shower. It is a soft cloth book with a zipper to close it and keep peices inside. My daughter is almost two now and she plays with it on occasion. Using a small stuffed bear you go through the bed time routine. Glass of milk, bath, brush teeth, say your prayers, kiss goodnight etc. I really wish the book had a cord to attach all the small pieces to it. We lost the carton of milk and the soap. The toothbrush is attached by a cord but I noticed it fraying. The toothbrush is really the only part of it she uses. Which has been helpful in getting her brush back and forth instead of just chewing.

I really never thought about this toy much until I was browsing amazon for toys and I saw that it cost THIRTY FIVE dollars!! There is no way that it is worth that much money. Buy your kid 6 or 7 board books instead.

I ordered this book for the up-coming birthday of a grandson. It really is cute and an excellent quality. It comes with a small stuffed bear that you can remove from the book. Each page of the book has a different night-time activity for the bear to do such as have a glass of milk, brush his teeth etc. I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting because even though it is a quality toy I'm not sure that Liam will use it enough to make it worth the price I paid. The Pockets of Learning toys all seem to be very high quality if somewhat pricy.

I bought this walker (or a similar Safety First Disney baby walker) and it is a waste of money! I'm so mad so I hope writing this review will be therapeutic and help me relieve some steam! If I can help someone else not waste their money it'd be worth it I guess. First of all the design is stupid. Did the people at Safety First not test babies in this thing first!?!?! No baby could ever reach the ground even on the lowest setting unless they were already walking first, and then they would be above the 30 lb. weight limit suggested on the walker. My baby can barely touch the floor and when he can, the way the fabric seat is designed it makes them sit backwards. It's as if they are in a chair, and they can't lean forward to walk because the dumb tray is in the way. This makes him only able push himself backwards. Yeah, just what I want, teach my child to walk backwards. He does like the toys and will play with them for some time, but as for walking (which isn't that way you buy a walker!?!?!) it's very poorly designed! Luckily my mother-in-law had an old Graco walker that is much better that we are now using. $55 gone for a piece of junk! I really dislike poorly made products. I will never again buy a Safety 1st product.

Just got this walker for my 4-month old from a local K-Mart. He's not close to walking yet but he holds his head up and fits nicely in the seat, which is padded all around and has support . The walker was very easy to assemble, took me less than 5 minutes and everything snapped perfectly in place. It collapses easily for easy transport. He can't reach the floor yet at the lowest setting so I put a large firm pillow underneath so he can stand if he wants to. Mainly I got this walker to be able to let him sit/stand and entertain himself with the toys while I do some quick work in the kitchen or even take a shower (with him in sight of course). So the mobility issue is not a problem for me yet as I prefer him stationary right now. The toys are a bit much for him right now but you can slide it to the sides and away from his face if he's overwhelmed. Or remove altogether to use the tray. But even at 4 months he likes touching and smiles when he moves the pieces, or when we push down Pooh for music. He's in it about 15 minutes at a time. I think this was worth every cent since I can get some things done and he's happy in it.

I just purchased this walker for my 6 month old baby and was disappointed that she is too short to touch the floor while sitting in it. Even on the lowest setting her feet are about 3 inches from the floor. If you have a petite baby, this walker is going to be useless for quite a while. It's cute enough, and she likes the spinner toys. The honey pot music box is SUPER LOUD! We had to put tape over the speakers and it's still a bit loud and tinny sounding, but at least the baby isn't afraid of it any longer. Overall, I think this is a decent walker. I was going to get the Chicco DJ walker, but couldn't find it locally. So I went ahead and got this one, which was quite a bit less expensive... I just wish she fit in it.

My 4 month old has this walker and just as the other person said the music is way too loud and tinny sounding..it sounds like a toy from the 99 cent store...i dont really like the fact the tray opens...its dangerous for tiny fingers. My daughter likes to walk backwards in it but she seems to be afraid of the noise from the toy so she is very hesitant to touch any of the toys.

By the time your little one is tall enough to sit in thishe will already be walking.

Even on the lowest setting it is too tall for them. Thankfully, it was a gift and I didn't waste any money on this one. But thought people should be aware of the height limitations on this seat.

My son is not considered smallat 7 months he is in 88% for his height.... His feet are 2 inches from the ground!

SO it's not that he is short.

A better option if you want to put your baby in a walker at 6 months is the chicco dj baby walker.

Great construction and colorfull. Unfortunately, I purchased a larger flute for me to play along. My God son insiste I play this one while he plays the larger.

She loves her teddy and takes him eveywhere we go. Not to mention that she sleeps with him also. It's very soft and very sweet.

My daughter received this teddy bear from a friend of ours when she was born, still in the hospital. It's her favorite to this day (she's almost 15 months). I just bought a second for her daycare. It's sort of held up through a couple trips through the washing machine, but I'd recommend having a couple bears on hand.

This toy is just darling. I got it for my 6 month old g-daughter who puts everything in her mouth. It is so cute with a special compartment where the cloth animals fit out of sight. Her older brothers 4 and 6 appreciate it as well and know more about Noah's Ark.

I purchased this for a baptism gift along with a book. It was very nice. Soft and animals are a good size for baby to hold. I think there will be a lot of play for this when quiet toys are needed. One animal does squeak but it is not overly loud.

Manhattan Toy Tulu Rattle

My 4 month old loves this toy! Its bright colors are intriguing to my daughter and she can adjust the shape so it fits in her mouth better. The orange pieces of the toy are rubbery, great for chewing. The colored beads inside the clear pieces are also a great rattle. I like that it is a bigger sized toy so she can work on manual dexterity, but the rails of the toy are small enough that she can grasp it easily.

Fun, educational and safe--this toys has what we're looking for as parents, and our daughter likes it too.

At 14 weeks, our daughter is busy exploring her world, developing dexterity, and strengthening her immune system by maneuvering things into her mouth and slobbering all over them. The Tulu has different textures (hard plastic and rubber) and shapes (the long pieces and the end pieces), and it's easy for her to pick up and hold onto, when we put it in her lap. As she grows, we expect that the toy will become even more interesting as she learns to make it rattle and change shapes.

Another great thing about this toy is that it's safe. So far, Manhattan Toys is one of the companies we trust. Even though most, if not all, of their toys are made in China, they apparently do rigorous testing to ensure that all US and European safety standards are met and/or exceeded. Hooray!

She has not mastered the technique of transforming this toy from square to triangle but is fascinated when my husband and I change it into different shapes. I bought this toy for a friend's new baby. It's a wonderful teeter, and it washable, which is a must for a baby or kid toy! The only reason I rate it overall 4 stars is the cost. It's soft for cuddling, while the wooden ring adds a wonderful part to bite on. The ring can be removed for washing or if baby only wants a cuddle toy. The doll is small, but for a baby, it's the perfect size!

Overall, excellent gift for a new baby, though maybe a bit pricey.

My son loves this! We got it when he was about 4 months old and it is the perfect size for him to hold onto and put in his mouth. The wooden ring seems to feel good on his gums and I feel better knowing it is wood instead of plastic.

I'm on this site because I have to buy more in case "Baby" gets lost or loved to death. We took the ring out and it has been my son's "Baby" since he was 5 months old. He's now 9 months and carries it everywhere and sleeps with it, hence me having to get more. Excellent because it is small enough to sleep with baby without the risk of suffercation. This little dolly is so cute, we love the fact that it is natural and quiet. My husband and I struggle to find a good balance of toys for our daughter that don't always require batteries, have outragously annoying music or light up and beep constantly. After looking through my granddaughters dolls, I discovered a huge gap. They talked, they walked, and they cuddled, but not a single one was waterproof!

When I first started looking, I was actually thinking of an all vinyl doll, and I thought that is what this one was. It isn't, it is a cloth doll that can be immersed (voicebox and all). When you are done, you remove the voicebox, wring it out, and hang it up to dry. So it isn't a doll that can go quickly from bath to bed!

However, it is machine washable and dryable on low, you just have to remove the voice box.

When it is dry, it is a nice baby doll that giggles and makes bubbly sounds. The outfit (a swimsuit) is a part of the doll, and it is cuddly. With the voice box removed, it is even more cuddly.

The voice box pops in and out easily after opening the Velcro opening on the back, but holds in place well.

I would have been happier with one that wasn't all fabric, but at least my granddaughter has a baby to play with in the tub and pool, or sprinkler on hot days.

My grandaughter loves this babydoll. She plays with her in the bath everynight. Its neat that even when in the water she can make it giggle. Nice bath time toy for a little girl who loves playing with baby dolls. Alot of the the otherones are either hard plastic or doesn't do anything.

i got this for my daughter who loves taking baths and baby dolls. i would have given this 5 stars but it does take time to dry. i even ring it out and hang it up to speed up the process
