Quercetti Pop-Link Shapes

I looked at several brands of pop beads before finding these. We are extremely pleased with this purchase.

Pros:

The brand is a quality brand. We have several other toys from this company and haven't been disappointed with any of them.

There are simple shapes and more interesting shapes (moon, star, sun). There are two of each color.

You can make patterns with the beads

They pop together easily. Some other brands are too difficult for young children to pop together and apart.

Cons:

I do wish there were a couple more in the set, but they aren't too expensive so you can always get two sets if you want more.

Overall, I highly recommend these pop beads over other brands for infants and toddlers.

This set of pop beads has more unique shapes than other sets, but I do wish there were more pieces. My daughter wants to use them to make a necklace, but there aren't enough. You can still make chains though. It's a toy that will be quickly outgrown but is good for babies.

This toy is great for hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and just fun for a little one. The shapes are brightly colored and soft for little hands. The price was also great!

Little Tikes 2-in-1 Pirate Ship

My son received this for his 1st birthday and both he and I love it. Not only can they sit and ride on it but also the blue sit lifts up and he can store whatever he can fit in there including our remote control. There is a little red button behind the sail that when you push it, it makes 3 different sounds, one of a ship horn, one of an anchor splashing into the ocean and I can't remember the other one. It is VERY easy to put together and has survived being pushed down the stairs. The little flag on the back does get pulled out easily but also snaps back in easily. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Got this toy for my son for his 2nd birthday. It's very cute and he loves playing with it! He loves that he can store toys under the seat and then ride it all over the house. However, one of the wheels simply will not stay on the toy, it randomly falls off when my son is riding it and he falls over. This is the only downfall about it. I recommend this toy for sure though.

We bought this toy for our 15 month daughter for Christmas. It was easy enough to put together. We haven't had any problems with wheels coming off like other reviewers, but we used a hammer to make sure that they were on securely. Though my daughter is too small to ride on this by herself she loves pushing it around the livingroom and opening and closing the seat compartment. She also loves the figures that came with it and has been carrying them around for days saying "argh."

Very impressed with Little Tikes. Got this for my child's first birthday to grow with. Really cool, big enough but not to wide for riding (when she gets bigger). The compartment for storage of the smaller characters is wonderful and one of the reasons I purchased this item. (have limited space and anything with storage is a plus) She is enjoying laying over it and getting items on the other side, just the right height. She loves opening the compartment and emptying it. One draw back is when I received it. I began to put it together. There was not a battery cover. I emailed Little Tikes and they sent one out right away. We are both very happy with this product/toy!

My 12 month old loves this ship. We bought it on a whim, and he took to pushing it all around the house immediately. He felt the crew of two scurvy dogs was too small, however, so he's added a few Sesame Street figures into the mix.

The sounds are fun, though on the box it suggests that there is a pirate voice. Not the case, just a cannon boom, a ringing bell, and the sound of an anchor dropping into the water. Not annoying at all (and it's been over a month).

The small flag at the back of the ship doesn't stay in place, so we removed it. Otherwise it's sturdy and all in one piece despite hours of rough play from a busy boy!

K's Kids Barbara 7.5" Doll

My daughter loves her new dolly! It's great because it's soft and light and she just loves to chew on her arms and legs. It's also machine washable which is great for mommy! Everything is sewn on so no worries about eyes popping off, etc and becoming choking hazards. It's also durable and can be wiped off when you don't want to throw it in the wash. Great buy!

This is such a cute doll for a baby or toddler. It's completely plush and everything is sewn together nicely, no buttons etc. that could come of posing a choking hazard. It's very hard to find multiracial dolls for a baby, and so after hours of searching on the internet I decided on this one. In my opinion Barbara passes well as a biracial (white/black) or Hispanic doll. It is by far the cutest one I have seen. K's kid also has a boy doll with the same complexion as Barbara.

it is so hard to find African American dolls for toddlers. This one is great. My niece loves it. Best of all it's washable...good thing since she takes it everywhere, including outside. I would recommend this doll to other aunts looking for a great first doll for a little girl.

Under The Nile Mouse Toy

I like that this toy is soft, organic, and cute, but I think it is a bit boring for babies. My infant son is just not interested in playing with it at all. He routinely goes for the more colorful stuffed animals and toys, so this mouse just sits on the shelf. A disappointing purchase (though I think it is adorable).

I ordered this mouse thinking it would be a good size stuffed animal. To my surprise its VERY small! Its only about 5 inches tall. It is very cute though.

Disney Pixar Cars 2 - Race Team Mater & Zen Master Pitty 1:55 Scale Die-Cast 2-Pack

I kind of hate Disney for packaging Zen Master Pitty with yet another version of Mater I don't need another Mater!! But there is no other way to get Zen Master, so buy it I did. Z.M. is great we used this toy as a potty training incentive for my son. He is trying to collect all of the characters from his Cars 2 poster. The only problem with Z.M. is that his rake does tend to get stuck/caught in the carpet when you're driving him around. And we're not talking about shag carpeting, here it's one of those play rugs that have the roads and streets drawn on them, specifically designed for driving toy cars around on. You have to push him very lightly on the carpet in order for him not to get stuck (a somewhat difficult task for my three-year-old). My cat likes to be combed with him. All in all, a good purchase.

I bought this for my 2 years old son. Overall everything is great. I wish the Zen Master a little bigger size.

Sassy First Sounds Book Set and Cube

My daughter is 10 months old and LOVES mommy and daddy's books, however she also loves using her 7 teeth to chew them to bits and create a choking hazard. Enter this adorable set of chew-friendly books to save the day. Despite the set's title, the books do not make sound; I thought they may moo or make music when pressed, but this is not the case. The cube that comes with the book set jingles a bit but that is it.

The cube is a fabric-covered foam block that encases a jingle bell; since it is slightly muffled by the foam it's not annoying to adult ears.

Each book covers a different sound: ma-ma, da-da, and ba-ba. Inside each book shows things that start with that sound.

The drawings are very cute and clear; it is a nice tool to start teaching different animals, concepts and relationships.

The colors are awesome, very bright and stimulating; every page has a contrasting graphic and background color.

I love Sassy toys, they are always so colorful and have held my DD's interest longer than her other toys.

I highly recommend for the smallest bookworm in your life :)

Only gripe: These books have only one center page each and I wish that they had 2 or 3 inside since my daughter loves turning book pages.

I bought this product for my son when he was six months old, he is 8 months now. He has been enjoying looking at the bright pictures and turning the pages of the three books. Also biting them :) They are made of a soft material covered with very thin plastic so they are bendable. The books are one of his favorite toys. It comes with a soft cube with pictures and words on it. I highly recommend.

I bought this for my 7 month old and it is a terrible, potentially harmful toy. She is teething and was immediately drawn to the colorful books, grabbing them, opening them, and, of course, putting them in her mouth. I was shocked to find that the colors ran. The product says paint free, but there is definitely some kind of paint on the books, and it dissolves in your baby's mouth. I do not know what they are made of, but I don't take risks with my baby's health and immediately took the toy away from her.

In addition to this hazard, the toy is not very good for introducing sounds. It has Ma-Ma, Da-Da, and Ba-Ba listed as the M, D, and B sounds. Then a picture of a monkey, a dog, and a sheep. Overall, it is a poorly designed, potentially dangerous baby toy.

I purchased this as my son was turning 6mo, he's now 7months & both the block & books are his favorite toys. The books I read to him at night are cardboard so I don't let him play with them bc he likes to mouth them. But these are great, the material on both is teething friendly, easy to clean, a waterproof... he always grabs these first when I lay out his toys. He even knows how to flip the pages already! & loves looking at the simple bright pictures while acting like he's reading! My family was so impressed he was doing this, I always bring one of these books with when for visiting, he loves them! I did read controversy from a teacher about the word sound examples for the letters not being appropriate for proper pronunciation & she thought the books were bad, many disagreed with her even a PreK teacher on Amazon, I really don't think that's a big deal this young... I think these books are great for under 12months for baby to learn to get familiar with liking books & pictures. After a year or so I would probably encourage more "proper" educational books for pronouncing proper sounds after reading that comment... But for now these are great!

Fisher Price Baby's First Silver Rattle Teether Gift Set

I liked the concept of the basic baby rattle, but the instructions on the box for washing are wrong. They are "Before first use and after each use, wash with hot soapy water, then rinse." I was wary of submerging them, as they didn't appear watertight, but didn't want to give them to my daughter without washing them. I used a soapy dishcloth to wipe them and then rinsed them in running water; sure enough, water was stuck between the clear plastic covers and the silver rattle parts. There's no way to separate the layers get the water out, and I'm assuming there will be mold eventually (I washed them a week ago and they are still wet inside). Not sure if they designed them to be just wiped with a damp cloth like most other toys and the instructions were wrong or if the company thought they were waterproof but didn't test them.

I talked to customer service through the chat on their website; they were quick to offer a voucher for the amount of the purchase price, but its only good in retail stores, not online. They didn't really seem to be concerned with the problem; they said they hadn't heard of it before with this product. Sounded like a canned line, but it is a newer product, so it is possible. It would be a great product if they were waterproof, but I either had a customer service rep who didn't care, or they know all about the problem and have been instructed to pay out immediately. I guess I'll follow my instinct next time and wipe with a damp cloth.

My three-month old son received these as a gift. I thought they were really cute and funny. Before I opened the box, I was worried about the silver-colored coating chipping off when he sucked on them, but it turns out that there is a clear plastic casing over the "silver" part, so that is not a concern.

The problem is that the clear plastic casing is not water-tight. On the box, it says, "Before first use and after each use, wash with hot soapy water and rinse." Since my son sucks on everything, I went ahead and washed them. The soapy water went between the clear plastic and the shiny plastic and you could still see little bubbles of soap in there even after I rinsed them. I let them dry for a while after washing them (but, since the water is trapped in there, I'm not sure whether it's possible for them to dry all the way) and let my son play with them, but I was still worried about the possibility of there being soapy water in there. They seem alright for now, but I also think it's possible that they'll get mildewy if they don't dry out. I've only had them for a day now and I'm washing them and drying them again -I'll have to wait and see how long it takes them to dry out and how long the rattles last.

Basically, these are a cute gift, but I would consider them more of a novelty than a really workable toy. My son enjoyed playing with them and sucking on them, but that will only make them need to be cleaned again. Fisher Price needs to work on making the casing water-tight -then they would be a great toy!

I've had this for a couple of weeks now and although it's starting to lose the shine and look more like rubber, I love this! My baby has really enjoyed using this for her poor teething pain and it's great to have when toys aren't around. First the punchy pink color is great. It's a beautiful pop of color and you can wear it with a variety of things.

Second it is much softer than I had anticipated, which is a good thing. I don't have to worry about it hurting my daughter's gums if she chews on it.

Third It's very durable. Baby girl has had it in her grip quite a few times and I haven't had to worry about it breaking.

Candee Fluff Aqua Drop Medium Bear 17" by Gund

I am totally a Gund fan all the way, however, I think Gund dropped the ball on the design of this one.

I read one other negative review but ordered it anyway. Unfortunately, it does shed, the "fur" does stretch out

and become "undone" so-to-speak. Also, no weight to the bear. Pick any other Gund and you'll be fine.

Stork Craft Rocking Horse

The rocking horse is really very cute and easy to put together. The price on Amazon.com was the best I could find. Shipping was quick and all pieces were included. The instructions to put it together were clear. I bought the horses for my twins who are 2. They are able to get on and off by themselves. My 5 year old also loves them and still fits very well on them.

WOW! I bought 2 of these for my 2 year old twins and wow is it a grrrrrreat buy. The price is right, the rocking horse is very sturdy and it is a very good looking horse. My twins love to rock on these and I know that they will last a very long time! Highly recommend this rocking horse!

OK...I just finished opening the box and putting two of these little guys together. While I've bought many items off of Amazon, I've never provided a review until now. In fact, I came back to my computer specifically to write this review; Stork Craft deserves the praise. I'm 65 years old with 7 very grown kids and a DIY guy, so I've done a lot of assembly in my time. Yet I've never seen such quality in the design of this type of item. As soon as I opened the package I was impressed with the beauty of the wood, the finish, and the color (we ordered "Cognac" color which doesn't appear to be available anymore). I could see immediately that the thickness of the wood was greater than I expected for the price (~$38).

As I went through the assembly process...I kept thinking 'wow, what quality!', the machine screws that are used are hefty and they all fit into the wood via threaded metal inserts. There are many angles involved in the cuts of the various pieces, yet the fit of every piece and every pre-drilled and pre-countersunk hole was perfect. I could also see that the rockers were made to be slightly angled outward to provide a more stable/safe base to rock on.

I came out of my 'assembly area' twice to point out to my wife how well the horse parts were engineered. Her reaction was more about the look than the fit....'cute, really cute' (emphasis on the 'really').

It didn't take very long to put the horses together because the instructions were very clear. To top it all off an 800 Customer Service phone number and address were provided (not always the case for items made outside the US). All that said, this horse hasn't been 'broken in' yet....so it does remain to be seen how well it rides and for how long. However, from the construction I'm seeing, I'm betting it will ride well and ride long. I hope so.

The box says the horse is good for ages 2 through 6, with a maximum weight of 60 pounds. My two grandsons who will own the horses are both not quite 2 years old (one of them has a 5 year old brother who will probably take the horse for a ride now and then, and the other one will have a new little brother very soon). My hope is that these horses will provide a lot of smiles for all four of these little cowboys, and will be around to carry others on rides beyond when these four boys top the 60 pound mark. We'll see.

I ordered the Stork wooden rocking horse for my grandson for Christmas. I was able to get $30 off by applying for an Amazon Credit card and also ordered at a time when shipping was free, so ended up spending about $12.50 for the horse. When I received it, 2 parts were broken. I called, explained the situation, and they immediately sent me a replacement horse and a label for free shipping on the return. We had just minor difficulty in assembly when some holes did not exactly line up for the screws, but were able to assemble in anyway in a short amount of time. It's solid, attractive and my eighteen month old grandson loves it.
