Ghostbusters Costume, Toddler Romper Costume

First, the hat or cap... was SUPER funky! The 'bowl' part of the cap is small and shallow, kind of like a very small yamaka with no grip. It's all made out of felt, the WHOLE outfit. The bill of the cap was pretty much bigger than the bowl part and it would not fit ANY head, really. We tried and tried to alter it but finally decided to just chunk it. Wasted money and materials. The entire outfit is one piece. Nothing detaches. So the 'backpack' is actually just a giant pocket in the back. All images are cheaply printed on (not that I expected different, just FYI). The foot portion of the outfit basically drapes over the little one's shoes and has an elastic band to secure under their feet. We had to alter both outfits. We ordered size 6-12 and Toddler size (but they sent us 2 of the Toddler sizes and gave me a hard time, asking me in what way was my order wrong. It was too close to Halloween to return so they won). The body of the outfits were too short for our kids. The outfit secures with ONE piece of velcro, with it being too short there was no way that opening would stay shut with just one piece of velcro. The outfit must be put on through a little area in the crotch, from the start of one boot over to the other. It looks like enough room, but if you have a squirmy baby... it's a challenge.
We bought these because they were super original. We didn't see ANY other Ghostbusters out there :) That was our goal. So kudos there.

The title says "toddler", it says that it fits sizes 2-4, but it's an infant costume! I tried to shove my barely-two-year-old into it, but it just wouldn't work. It would have fit her for Halloween LAST year! Oh, well... she ended up being a really cute robot. Also, as stated above, the hat is ridiculously large.Cute and warm felt one piece suit, keeping baby happy and fun. Nice hat. Outfit was a little big for this 16 month old.Thursday, June 26, 2014

These are perfect! Exactly what I had anticipated. And they shipped super fast. On a few areas there is stuffing coming out of them but you just need to pull that out past the stitching and it has been fine after that.Sunday, June 15, 2014

Earlyears Curiosity Cube
There is a mirror that spins, 2 wire bead tracks with 2 beads each (different shapes), a spining and clicking circular divice with finger 2 impressions allowing you to teach your child how to turn the disk, an abacus type section with green and orange disks, a spiral "pole" with an orange disk that will fall down the spirals when turned, and finally a cylinder with 4 levels of plastic swiss cheese type bariers allowing very tiny beads to fall through making a "rain stick" type sound. This too spins.
It is small enough to take in the car, easy to carry, light yet very sturdy. I have no concerns about any part of this breaking or coming apart. Because it is light weight, it is very easy for the child to manipulate. It will hold their attention, teach them about basic physical properties and laws (such as gravity), and will last through at least 2 children.
A good addition to the playroom. My baby's arm/elbow got stuck inside this toy. I tried to free her but the toy is very well made that I can't break it. My baby's constricted arm started to turn purple after 15 minutes, so I had to call 911. It took 3 firefighters to get her arm off from the toy. I think this toy should be recalled.

I bought this for my 7 month old who was learning to sit on her own. She seemed to like boxes -diaper wipe box, kleenex box, etc -so I thought this would be a definite hit. For the first month, she was definitely interested in it but it didn't hold her attenton for more than a few minutes -perhaps she wasn't at the recommended age? I still thought it was pretty cool though and I don't know how a baby's arm could get stuck in this (as somebody else wrote) -My baby never had a problem with that. The item description says that it requires 2 AA batteries but I don't think that's correct as there is definitely no battery compartment on this cube!
This video was taken when she was about 9 months old. There are 3 sides she likes more than the others and she will pretty much only plays with those 3 sides. Now just hitting 11 months, she will play with this on occassion but only for a couple of minutes before she finds something else more exciting. We received this as a gift when my son was 6 months old and at the time he loved spining the mirror and the little barrel of beads. As he got older, he started to learn how to use all the other functions on the cube. He is 10 months now and I have to admit he plays with it less frequently but every so often, he will sit there and play with it for a good 5-10 min. Overall, I think this toy was awesome!!I bought this for my son when he was 5mo.s old. I pulled it out for him at 6mo.s and he had no iterest. I pulled it out again at 7mo.s and he LOVES it. It really works his hand eye coordination. It is small enough so now that he is sitting up, he can move it around and change it to what interests him at the moment. It has been really good for his independent play time.

Little Tikes Rocking Puppy
We bought my boy the Fisher Price Brilliant Basics horse for Christmas last year he was 13 months and he wanted NOTHING to do with it. And it was so tiny, I feared by the time he was into it, he'd be too bog for it. So we took it back. Then recently, maybe two months ago, a friend gave me her old Little Tikes horse... and my boy LOVES it now. (he is 21 1/2 months old)
I think that where these things say ages 1 and up, most kids aren't ready for them by age one. Well at any rate my guy certainly wasn't, and my friend says hers wasn't, either. Admittedly that's a small sample, but... I think it's something that bears considering. One year of age may be too young.
18 months and up might be more accurrate.
My guy will rock and rock on this thing... he's put it to the test, and there have been times I swear it would flip, but it never has.
When my friend comes over with he 4 1/2 year old, though he is big for it, he will still happily get on and ride this thing. So size-wise, I think this will provide you with a lot more use than the FP version.
Simple, all one piece, no batteries, no obnoxious noises, nothing to come off or lose. Very sturdy, very safe.
Overall, we like it a lot. :-)

I purchased this Big Blue Rocking Dog for my Grandson who is only 8 month old. What a smile on his face when the toy was opened!! He rides his dog everyday and enjoys it. This item can be used until he's 3 years old and is a wonderful present for any child who can crawl and begin to stand. I guarantee it will be a gift enjoyed for a long time!!My 13 month old ended up with two rocking horses and this puppy at Christmas due to lack of family communication. If she would have only recieved this one, I think it would be used more. One of her ponies sings while she rides it so of course that's her favorite. The only bad thing about this one is she learned almost right away that she can stand on the seat and rock it. It's really low to the ground. I can't leave it in her room unless I'm in there because I don't want her to climb on it and knock a tooth out! But, she does like it. When I bring it out, she keeps saying "puppy, puppy!" and climbs on by herself.I actually got this toy free at Toys R US when I purchased the Little Tikes basketball set. From the photo I thought this was a plastic nothing but my 18 month old little girl loves it! Easy to get on, off, sometimes rides it backwards but no biggie--we flip her around until she learns herself. Nice toy, nice price and would've paid for it if I had known she'd enjoy it this much! Hope this helps...Tuesday, May 6, 2014
WOW Dexter the Digger - Construction (5 Piece Set)
Buy WOW Dexter the Digger - Construction (5 Piece Set) Now
This is a cute toy with two major negatives:1. It works great to scoop plastic rocks, but is not made for the sandbox because the lever that works the boom will get jammed with sand. A digger that you can only use inside? A bit of a let-down.
2. It doesn't rotate. Excavators are supposed to spin all the way around so you can scoop, rotate, dump, repeat. This one is fixed, despite the promotional animated video of the toy in which it does rotate.
3. Also, it's on wheels, not tracks. Excavators normally have tracks.
This is a cute toy and quite sturdy, and it is fun to play with (indoors), but if your child is really into trucks I would recommend a more realistic excavator.

We added this digger to our son's WOW collection at Christmas. This is a great toy with a large enough bucket that you can actually scoop things up (unlikely many other digger toys). The detail on this toy is great and I love that it has no batteries. My son loves the little people that come with the WOW toys.Want WOW Dexter the Digger - Construction (5 Piece Set) Discount?
Boys and diggers, must be in the genes. We looked at many diggers at the store and he wanted this specific one. So, once again Amazon had the best pricing and we awaited it's arrival. Digger Dan (the operator) and Dexter the digger have been a daily center of attention for my son. When we are away from home and the digger doesn't accompany us, it is the first thing that he has to see when we return. Yes it's a bit pricey and there are a couple areas where fingers need to avoid, but WOW, what a lot of fun to be had.Wednesday, April 23, 2014

This little piggy is very soft and snuggly! So cute too ;) The eyes are plastic, but seem stitched in well. Just supervise if you give it to small kids who may like to put things in their mouths. Not as big I was hopping, but still super cute! The fabric is good quality. My daughter loves to carry him around!!Picked it because my daughter loves pigs. It's soft and adorable and she loves it. Dog would like to get his teeth into it also :-).Monday, September 16, 2013
BeginAgain Earthworms - Red
I'm impressed by how smooth the caterpillar segments feel in the hands and how easily they can be twisted around, and playing with it seems to be useful in helping my 4 year old get a feel for how 3-dimensional shapes can fit together to fit what she's trying to do -she can quickly make it into a horseshoe shape now, for instance, or make it straight again. I'd definitely recommend this toy, but more for children 2 and up, old enough to be ready to play 'pretend,' rather than the crawl-and-chew stage it's marketed toward.

I was very happy with this purchase. This was for a five year old, who was very happy when she opened it up. The bear was soft and cuddly and a perfect 'hugable' size. The next time you're on a bus, in an elevator or simply waiting for that dashing stranger to Dear God hurry up and stop loitering in the frozen food section of the grocery, take a closer look... Is it an 18 century barrister? A smaller, rounder Rollie Fingers? Or is it a polar bear gone incognito? Beware, he may look soft and cuddly (and certainly is, if you're into that sort of thing) he also is likely hungry and homeless, his former stomping grounds reduced to a puddle.Thursday, August 8, 2013
Link-a-doos Kick & Play Piano
There are 3 different settings:
1 continuous music (several different tunes that play over and over regardless of whether any keys are pressed)
2 pressing a key to access the corresponding animal sound, counting, or song
3 works like an actual keyboard each Key is a different note.
this has really held my son's attention. Not sure if he associates the cause and effect of his kicking the keys, but at least the activity is somewhat interactive and lasts longer than the mobile without my having to constantly rewind it.I really like this piano. My son didn't play much with it on the floor, so I put it in his crib. Now he loves it!! He really enjoys kicking and hearing the sounds it makes. I also like that the cover can be taken off and washed in the washing machine. It also doesn't eat batteries like some other Fisher Price items do. Great!!

We bought this toy for our 6 month old who loves to "kick" just about anything around her. The toy is easy for the child to kick, has cute sounds that are activated when kicked, BUT, the child wants to see what he or she is kicking. They have to strain their necks to see what they are kicking. After a couple of uses, our daughter became frustrated because she had to lift her head to see the toy light up. Everytime we tied the toy higher on the bars in the crib, it kept on slipping down after it was kicked. It's a cute concept, but has its flaws.Read Best Reviews of Link-a-doos Kick & Play Piano Here
My son just loves this toy! Seeing pictures of it online it didn't seem like much but I decided to have faith in the other reviews and buy it. I am so glad I did! My son is 12 weeks now and has had this toy for a little over a week. His attention is held longer by this toy than any other. He enjoys watching the lights and listening to the music when I set it to continuous play, but LOVES to kick the keys and listen to what he made happen! I like the songs it sings and the animal sounds are cute as well. I like to act out the animals for him when the piano says the animal name and also sing along with the songs. The piano says letters A-E, animal names for each of the keys, animal sounds, numbers 1-5 with corresponding tones, and songs. So not only does my little one have fun with it, he will be learning as well.I have two of these pianos for my now 1 year old daughter. I bought them when she was very young, and put one in her crib at my house, and one in the crib at her granparent's house which she frequently visits. This piano has saved me hours of sleep! I just turn it on if she wakes up during the night and it sings her back to sleep. It helped her learn how to fall asleep in her crib by herself, and has learning functions for when my baby is older. I'm going to buy one for my aunt who is currently expecting, and I hope she gets as much use out of it as I have!
