My almost 5 month old loves these! I think they could have been made better. They don't stretch so it's difficult to put these on. They aren't like other booties, socks, etc. that are made with the contours of feet in mind but rather a long "tube-like" cover for your baby's foot. Plus, I think they are a little too short in length. Without any stretch to them, they tend to ride down my baby's foot and eventually come off. It gets annoying to constantly be putting them back on or adjusting them frequently. These could be really great but have room for improvement.

The high contrast design fascinates her. Beyond that I do not recommend this product. It didn't fit her at three months old. They where not shaped for the feet so they fit awkwardly. They did not rattle loudly either.

I bought these for our 3 month old granddaughter. The bright colors really catch her attention, but the fabric is not like a sock and does not stretch. We also bought the other set that has the solid color sock and those stretch and fit on the feet perfectly. She still love the color and plays with them in her hand, but not what they were made for.

Cons:

The purple key looks like a control for the baby, and my daughter wants very much to turn the key, however, it is the on/off and volume control. This is a pretty poor design choice in my opinion. When she finally is able to turn the key, it ends all the fun.

The programming is set so that most of the time, lights and noise are generated in response to baby action. However, sometimes, it just plays a song from start to finish, and only a specific up up tap from the gear shift will end it. I don't like this, because I can see my daughter's face curl up in doubt when she's frantically turning the wheel and the unit isn't responding to her.

Although the plastic parts wipe up nicely, I do wish that the cloth wheel would peel off somehow for better cleaning.

All in all, this is a decent toy. I'd reccommend playing it with your baby. I hold it with the palm of my hand over the key, and when it starts playing a song and not responding to standard input, I just tap the gear shift for her.

Bought this for my daughter because my nephew had one and she instantly fell in love with it. She was 3 months old at the time and started spinning the steering wheel without being shown how. She is 5 months old now and still loves this item. Would definately recommend. There are not a lot of toys like this for young babies and this is a great one.

My baby has had this since he was about 3 months old. He is now six months and likes it even better that he is sitting up. He loves to play with this and move the wheel around. He doesn't push the other buttons as much but loves the wheel. It's great that there are two volume settings because it can get loud and annoying after a while. It also keeps making noise even if baby isn't playing with it. I like that the wheel is soft because my baby likes to eat it as much as he does driving it. I agree with others who wish you could wash the cover to the wheel. Using a wet cloth to clean it is okay but not that effective. It is small enough that we take this with us to restaurants and in the car. We have had good luck with Vtech toys and I think they are very durable. We have never had any problems with them. I highly recommend this toy.

As with many of my baby son's toys this was a gift and he loves it! He has had a lot of "quick fun" with it but his attention is not held by this toy very long, unfortunately. That is for several reasons, but the main one is he had this toy before he could walk and has been walking nearly over a month (about 7 weeks or so) now...and so this toy is not a fascination compared with other newer toys, and the minute bits of stuff he finds in his daily travels, lol!

But the toy is a great 1 for babies to learn the abc song, because my son starting singing it not too long ago, abc "e"...he sang just the other day and yes, he was wrong but he was singing, on-tune with the toy and that was definitely music to my ears since I assumed he would learn from the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD and our reminders like his older brother, who before he was 2...could identify all the letters and their sounds from a dvd I bought on this website!

What an incredibly irritating toy. We got it for our son after he started showing great interest in spinning the knob on our washer. Like another reviewer said, he does love to turn the wheel as fast as possible, but isn't much interested in the other features. However, the Baby Driver will not be daunted. It narrates the action of turning the wheel ("Round and round!"), sings its annoying little tunes and offers helpful tips such as "Fasten your seatbelt!" and "Watch out!" in what I am positive is the most obnoxious female voice ever. I can only take it being turned on for approximately three and a half minutes before I have to turn the little purple key and shut it off. I do wish it had suction cups or at least some rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep it from sliding all over the place when he's playing with it on the floor.

D'Little Devil Costume

This costume is appropriately sized and not too heavy, so if you live in a climate that's not very cold, your child won't overheat in it. It's soft and bright, but I have to say I wish the horns were bigger. They are very small and don't stand up well, so it's a little difficult to see them. Also there is no tail. I purchased a FELT DEVIL TAIL separately, which my son promptly tried to pull off. I also added a Devil Costume Pitchfork, and honestly my little one had more fun with this than anything else. I like the wings, though a lot of devil costumes don't have wings and this was a cute addition. Overall, this was an adorable costume and a good choice for my rambunctious toddler.

Our son not only looked the part of a devil, he acted like one too. Red is such a great color on him and he had fun playing with the wings. Very cool costume and he didn't roast in it like I thought. Thanks!

California Costume CHILD Pilgrim Boy Costume

Dress was too long and it had to be cut the new seams were better quality than the ones from the factory. But overall the design and colors were gorgeous.

For $13.88, this was a steal. The hat was a bit flimsy, so I glued black card stock to the underside of it-easy fix. The belt was too long, so I used black electrical tape to hold it in place-again, easy fix. By far, my son had the best looking pilgrim costume for his school's program. I bought (girls) white knee socks. I made two buckles for his shoes with card stock and gold spray paint (I traced the belt buckle). My son wears 4/5 in shirts and pants, and the XS was a perfect fit.

This is a great costume. It's well made and it is absolutely adorable. However, I'm not sure what is up with the hat. It is so big it covered my son's face completely. It was even slightly big on my husband who is 6'2. It's floppy and worthless. I ran to Michael's (arts and crafts) and picked up a $2.00 foam black top hat and pulled the buckle off the crummy hat and attached it to the foam one. It was an easy fix but shouldn't have been necessary. Overall, though, this is a fantastic costume. I also ordered another pilgrim costume and it is not nearly as nice as this one. Shipping was fast too. For the most part, very pleased. BTW, my son is a size 8 (very much on the skinny side) and the Large (10 12) fit him perfectly so I would say it runs on the small side. Keep that in mind when ordering. I also bought girl's knee socks (shh... don't tell my son) and shoe covers to complete the look. Just adorable.

Overall a really great value! You couldn't even buy the materials and make it yourself for this price. I'm not sure what the one reviewer was talking about with black dust on her fingers....we didn't have this experience. The sizing runs slightly on the small side. My son is about a perfect size 8 and I ordered the Medium (8-10). It fits him just right, but if he were any bigger it wouldn't. I tweaked the costume a little....For the belt...there is a ton of extra slack. I ended up cutting off several inches of the belt....leaving about 4 inches of slack from the middle buckle. I then used velcro strips so that the slack would attach to the main portion of belt around his waist and look nice and neat. For the hat.....the brim of the hat is very floppy....I stiffened it up by taking my hot-glue gun and attaching some black poster board to the underside of the brim. I bought long white socks from the girls section (just don't tell your son where you bought them!)and we used black dress shoes that I bought from the thrift store for $2. Wah-lah!! Adorable costume....great price!

Sugarbooger Laminated Lunch Sack, Matryoshka Doll

I bought 2 of these lunch packs at $16 a piece. The first day my daughter used it she brought it home and there was a big discoloration on the side of it. It wasn't so noticeable so I figured maybe it came that way and I overlooked it when I bought it. After only 3 days of using this lunch box there were brown stains covering the handle and top part of the bag. No matter what I do the stains won't come out. I looked online and found several reviews stating that this is a common problem with these bags and that the brown stain is mold. I can't believe I paid $16 for a lunch bag my daughter was able to use for 3 days, and what's worse is I bought 2 of them! I was going to give one to my niece. I'm so happy to know I spent $34 on something I'm just going to have to throw out.

Absolutely loved the design and the size was perfect for securely bringing a day's bottles for our little one to day care. The day care ladies love that they know exactly where to put the bottles when they're empty instead of using plastic bags BUT after only a couple months of use the interior plastic ripped (not over stretched) and this week the top flap came completely apart guess the Velcro held a little too well and the top stitching came apart. Cute design love the product line, especially for my little Russian doll just disappointed it didn't last longer than a couple months' daily (gentle) use.

My 5 month old son loves it. You can hang it from an activity mat and let your little one look at their reflection. Also good stimulation during tummy time & sitting practice. The plastic triangles click when they are moved which is a nice audible stimulation and the texture is good for chewing. There is also a rattle inside which makes a pleasant sound.

I thought my baby would love this toy, but it doesn't hold his interest for long. It's actually bigger than I was thinking it would be. I was intending to use it as a stroller or car seat toy, but it's just too bulky. He does like that the triangles clack when he moves them, and the mirror is fun, but I don't think there is enough to grab and chew for him, and it's hard for him to carry around with him as he crawls or stands. Not as fun as the other Lamaze toys overall, although well made and nice looking as they all are.

CURIOUS GEORGE VISITS THE LIBRARY

Curious George is on another adventure. This time he's in my favorite place, the library. The man with the yellow hat has brought George to the library for story time. He likes the books but sees one on dinosaurs that he hopes the librarian reads next. He gets impatient, takes the book and runs off. This is the beginning of his adventure. He goes through the library finding neat books and making a big mess in the process. The boys and girls at the library, along with a volunteer help clean up the mess. In the end the man with the yellow hat helps George get a library card and they both check out lots of great books.

I liked the story and the pictures in the book. It's another great adventure with Curious George.

I would recommed this book to others. It can be used with young children who are just learning about the library. It would make a great read for storytimes.

In this tale, George--"a good little monkey and always very curious"--visits the public library with his friend, the man in the yellow hat. Chaos ensues as George frolics through the library, but it all ends happily.

Curious George is an enduring cultural icon, and this book is an enjoyable addition to his adventures. He's a cute and likeable character, and despite his disruptive antics, his love of books makes him admirable. Although mischievous, he is never malicious, and his attitude throughout is positive. Weston creates a nice portrait of a multiethnic community at the public library. Her illustrations are full of clever visual touches and entertaining details. If you're a fan of the curious monkey, don't miss this book.

Fisher-Price Play My Way Workshop

We have had this tool set for four months now and my son is still banging around on it. It covers all the basics of a tool set and stores compactly in its own bin. We did not get the "customizable play center" that can go with this; we just play with it on the floor or on a table. My toddler son can use the hammer and saw with ease, but the screw driver and wrench will take a little more work on those fine motor skills. It is made of very durable plastic, but there are no sharp edges. We also have the kitchen set which is equally fun and storable.

I have an almost 4 year old and a 15 month old. Both LOVE this toy. We considered buying another because they fight over the pieces, but figured they need to learn to share sometime. Some of the pieces are a little small, so the 2 year age appropriateness is probably correct. This is our third child with another on the way, so we're not as cautious. Definitely would not allow our 15 month old to walk around with the screwdriver, bolts or nails. I would look for this elsewhere. I only payed $15 for mine.

I bought this item for several reasons. First, I am tired of plastic toys with a short shelf life (and requiring batteries) so I am replacing many items with wood toys that will be able to last for generations and handed down in the family. Second, my grandson loves things that spin (wheels, gears, etc.) and he is fascinated in watching them and observes enough to be able to attempt...but gets frustrated if he can't get things to spin very well (he even tries to spin rubber coasters on their edge...lol). I saw this and though it would be perfect for a 2-year-old to spin, plus it has the wheels he likes to rotate, and the spiral decor around the handle looks neat while spinning. It keeps his interest for a little while and he doesn't get frustrated with it "falling over". He also likes to scoot it across the floor. It is also very durable. For a top-like toy, it think it's a winner. It is definitely age-appropriate for the 2-4 year old toddler who is beginning to discover how things interact when they do something with it...basically a great little learning toy....and, it is MADE IN USA!!!! I would recommend it.

VTech Nest and Learn Animals

I bought this as a gift for a younger child but my son who is almost 2.5 had to keep it! He loves the animals and keeps saying their names as he stacks them. The pieces are pretty easy to get on the base and you can either nest or stack them. If you nest them you can hear colors, shapes or numbers info for each one when it's placed on the base. However if you stack them the cow on the bottom is the only one that makes noise. Also, I found that when stacking them they aren't that sturdy so a younger child might get frustrated, though this isn't a problem for my son since he has more developed coordination. He loves knocking the pieces over anyway. If you don't have nesting cups then I think this is a great purchase because it's a fun take on a simple toy. They store nicely on the base too so it doesn't take up much room. I am happy with my purchase!

LEGO DUPLO 6758 Grow Caterpillar Grow

Purchased for my 2-year-old grandson. He loved it, although more interested in just playing with the legos than trying to copy the shapes in the book. His older siblings, 5 and 7, loved the book and legos, too.

This was the first Duplo Read and Build set we bought. We now have them all. My husband is a Lego fanatic, so my daughter was always going to get her first Duplo set at an early age. She's 9 months. While she isn't too interested in the book/story right now, she loves the caterpillar and his friends. The frog is my particular favorite, but it's the caterpillar that seems to spend a lot of time in her mouth. She'll sit quite happily banging the duple together and playing with it for quite some time. In fact, several of the Read and Build animals/insects have made their way into the diaper bag because they are small, durable and hold her attention. I look forward to the day when she'll be able to make the characters as we progress through the book.

This was an Easter gift to both of the babies, and both really enjoyed taking their first steps with the bunny near by, and then walking around the house with him tagging along. This toy is soft and huggable, and unbelievably precious. If you get the idea that I'm going to buy one or more for myself, you aren't wrong. I wish I had had this when I was a toddler, or when my children were. It is a perfect toy for babies and toddlers. The colors are soft and, Peter is a cute, and wonderful friend for tiny people. Maybe even for their grandparents too!

This is the perfect first bunny for a baby! He is very soft, cuddly and adorable! I felt like I was settling for this Peter Rabbit compared to photos of the others I found in my search, but this was the only one without button eyes, and therefore safe for a baby. This toy is very well made and completely infant-safe. No buttons, loose fabric or anything a baby could choke on. Nice and soft, but just a tad smaller than I expected it to be. Its a nice size for a portable toy.

Yookidoo Stack 'N' Spray Tub Fountain

I purchased this product a couple months ago for my children. They thought it was fun and it seemed to work fine. I recently discovered, however, that when we submerged it in water, orange water came out of the product. I discovered upon removing the battery lid that the liquid was from the batteries. I have pictures of this that I could attach if there was the option to do so here. There is no seal, so the battery compartment is not airtight. I believe this product should be recalled.

My grandchildren come to my house frequently. I bought this bath toy because it looked like fun. It was. Twice. Then it quit working. I changed batteries. Nothing. My daughter bought this toy, too, and it also broke after a couple of uses. Don't bother.

Both my 4 year old and 1 year old loved this toy when we got it. had fun with the boats separately and with the whole thing together, but there is a serious flaw in the design (as others mention). The battery compartment door is held in place by 3 screws, but that isn't sufficient to keep the water out of it after a while. The tighter you screw down the door, the longer it will last, but there's always the corners that aren't directly held down that can and will leak.

Things to keep in mind:

if you have one, or decide to get one anyway, really tork down the screws to make it as tight as possible. They did put metal sleeves for the screws, so you shouldn't crossthread them or pull them out.

OR

go ahead and silicone or caulk the battery compartment closed after installing the batteries. I think a thin bead around the edges would keep them in place. You don't want to do it inside, because then you couldn't cut it open easily.

Don't let it run without sitting in water, most pumps will burn out very quickly if you do.

If they had a working website (it says, Under Construction) I would have asked them to replace ours based on the flaw.

Edit: As someone else points out, you can overtighten screws and deform the gasket, although given the location of these screws, that would really only potentially be a problem with one of them.

Our 12 month old great grand baby loves this toy. She figured out how to work it by herself within minutes. Only problem is getting her out of the tub now.
