Cons:

The purple key looks like a control for the baby, and my daughter wants very much to turn the key, however, it is the on/off and volume control. This is a pretty poor design choice in my opinion. When she finally is able to turn the key, it ends all the fun.

The programming is set so that most of the time, lights and noise are generated in response to baby action. However, sometimes, it just plays a song from start to finish, and only a specific up up tap from the gear shift will end it. I don't like this, because I can see my daughter's face curl up in doubt when she's frantically turning the wheel and the unit isn't responding to her.

Although the plastic parts wipe up nicely, I do wish that the cloth wheel would peel off somehow for better cleaning.

All in all, this is a decent toy. I'd reccommend playing it with your baby. I hold it with the palm of my hand over the key, and when it starts playing a song and not responding to standard input, I just tap the gear shift for her.

Bought this for my daughter because my nephew had one and she instantly fell in love with it. She was 3 months old at the time and started spinning the steering wheel without being shown how. She is 5 months old now and still loves this item. Would definately recommend. There are not a lot of toys like this for young babies and this is a great one.

My baby has had this since he was about 3 months old. He is now six months and likes it even better that he is sitting up. He loves to play with this and move the wheel around. He doesn't push the other buttons as much but loves the wheel. It's great that there are two volume settings because it can get loud and annoying after a while. It also keeps making noise even if baby isn't playing with it. I like that the wheel is soft because my baby likes to eat it as much as he does driving it. I agree with others who wish you could wash the cover to the wheel. Using a wet cloth to clean it is okay but not that effective. It is small enough that we take this with us to restaurants and in the car. We have had good luck with Vtech toys and I think they are very durable. We have never had any problems with them. I highly recommend this toy.

As with many of my baby son's toys this was a gift and he loves it! He has had a lot of "quick fun" with it but his attention is not held by this toy very long, unfortunately. That is for several reasons, but the main one is he had this toy before he could walk and has been walking nearly over a month (about 7 weeks or so) now...and so this toy is not a fascination compared with other newer toys, and the minute bits of stuff he finds in his daily travels, lol!

But the toy is a great 1 for babies to learn the abc song, because my son starting singing it not too long ago, abc "e"...he sang just the other day and yes, he was wrong but he was singing, on-tune with the toy and that was definitely music to my ears since I assumed he would learn from the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD and our reminders like his older brother, who before he was 2...could identify all the letters and their sounds from a dvd I bought on this website!

What an incredibly irritating toy. We got it for our son after he started showing great interest in spinning the knob on our washer. Like another reviewer said, he does love to turn the wheel as fast as possible, but isn't much interested in the other features. However, the Baby Driver will not be daunted. It narrates the action of turning the wheel ("Round and round!"), sings its annoying little tunes and offers helpful tips such as "Fasten your seatbelt!" and "Watch out!" in what I am positive is the most obnoxious female voice ever. I can only take it being turned on for approximately three and a half minutes before I have to turn the little purple key and shut it off. I do wish it had suction cups or at least some rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep it from sliding all over the place when he's playing with it on the floor.

Edushape Corrugated Blocks, Set of 36 toys

The original picture for this product showed only the large block. There was nothing in the description about different sized blocks. Since I only wanted the large blocks and could not find them anywhere else, I bought these. When the package arrived, I realized that this set is no different than the other Edushape 36 block sets. There is 4 large blocks(12X6X3), 8 medium blocks (6X6X3) and 24 small blocks (6X3X3). Add to that the fact that the box was not in great shape when it arrived and you can imagine my disappointment. I feel that Amazon dropped the ball on this one.

As for the blocks... They go together fairly easily after the first couple you do and the children love to play with them. They have a coating on the outside that you can wipe off and can support 100 pounds. Overall, I think that these blocks are great for teaching children how to build and since we use them for making balance beams, they can teach balance and even give a little exercise. Overall, I would recommend blocks like these to anyone with toddlers or older children.

We received this blanket/toy as a gift for our first son. I've since begun to use it as his "lovey," a transitional object that helps him to feel secure when falling asleep. He loves to grab the corners and twirl the fabric close by his face, and always wakes up with "Bear," as we call the object, right by his side.

It's also a great toy in general. My son finds any rattle amusing and interesting at this age (he's currently 6 months old), because he's really into "cause and effect" type play.

There is a quiet rattle inside the bear, so be forewarned if you want something silent to use for this purpose (though the noise doesn't bother my son, my husband thought it might at first).

There are MANY similar designs, so seek one out if this particular bear doesn't tickle your fancy.

I love this toy, and more importantly my daughter loves this toy! It crinkles and rings, and is easy to hold and easy to clean. I totally recommend this!

After researching the Wonderworld site as well as other sites and seeing no mention that Wonderworlds products came from China, I was fairly confident in this purchase. Well unfortunately I shouldnt have been. It is indeed Made in China. Just an FYI for those of you looking for a toy for your little one thats not made in China.

I gave it two stars because in case you dont care where the toy your child will be putting in their mouth comes from, it does seem like something a child would enjoy.

BPA-free, nontoxic toys are important to me. My mom got this for my daughter when she was a newborn (she's now 16 months old), and she's still playing with it. When she was really little, she didn't do much other than shake it. Now that she's teething in earnest, she is constantly chewing on the feet and the wooden ring.

*I don't think you're meant to machine wash this toy, but I do it all the time. I just put it in a mesh bag, wash cold gentle cycle, and air dry. It's holding up very well.

Seems like solid construction, soft and plush, kind of old-school vibe. My 11 month old isn't that interested in playing with it, but it's a nice design element in his nursery.

My son loves this toy. We have purchased three of them. One has been completely retired due to wear. The other two are rotated so we always have a "clean" one available.

The material is very hard to clean. After some time the fabric turns from yellow to a dirty gray. Chalk that up to heavy use, but other stuffed animals have not gotten nearly as dirty.

Floating Blocks

My daughter loves to take baths, and when I bought this item, it made her love the bath even more. She loves to build "towers" with blocks, and these blocks are great for that. I sit on the edge of the tub and build them with her, and we have lots of fun. This is a great, inexpensive toy for toddlers. The blocks are lightweight and easy to stack, and they make a great addition to bathtub fun for your little one. Highly recommended!

The floating blocks are a great tub toy. There is a nice mesh storage bag that you can hang them in and they are virtually wet proof. My son Kevin who is 15 months old, enjoys stacking the blocks in the tub and sometimes eating them too (but they are safe). I would recommend these blocks for babies who are at the stage where they are able to stack blocks.

A big hit with my sensory seeking son. I bought the gamut of human chew toys for my son and this one, by far, was the winner. It's sturdy enough that his teeth aren't tearing it, yet flexible enough to give son the output he needs. 4 out of 5 stars due to the lame black cording. I wound up hooking the charm through a binder ring and then attaching that to a retractable keychain (2 bucks). My son just clips it onto the front of his pants and he's off to school.

I liked that there was a bracelet and necklace. The bracelet is too big for a young child, and can be easily lost. The material of the product was great,even though my daughter was able to chew through it. The biggest complaint is the necklace, it's very thin/cheap. There isn't a breakaway on it, and my concern was strangulation. I had planned on putting it on a breakaway lanyard, however the opening is far too small to put on much else.

My 9yo son is high-functioning autistic, and liked to chew holes in the collars of his shirts while doing his work at school. After several Google searches, we decided together that this would be the best alternative. The morning of the first day, I was worried about whether or not it would even last through the school day... the cord seemed flimsy, and while the jewel didn't, my son already has many of his adult teeth, and I wasn't sure he wouldn't just chew through it.

Fast-forward to the end of that day... when he came home, the cord was broken (though it did last until the bus ride home). His t-shirt, however, was unmolested, and his teacher even sent a note home about how chewing on the necklace seemed to help him focus in class.

We went to Michael's that evening and found a few different cords; we went through three rubbery ones before we tried a different one that seems that better, and has been holding up nicely. So definitely buy this thing if your kid needs it -it's worth it, even if you have to spend a little extra to find a cord that works for you.

Cocalo Toy Box

My mom wanted to buy a toy box for my little girl. After extensive research I couldn't find any other toy box to match the Daniella set in color combination or the wood of her bedroom set. Since I have pretty much the entire Daniella set, I decided to get her this to match. It does match well and was easy to put together. My only concern is I didn't pay much attention to the dimensions. It is small. Not what I expected for toys. With the size of her toys, not many will fit inside. I am probably going to use it as a blanket chest and put her stuffed toys in it.

The toy-box is much bigger then I had expected, which is good because my daughter has a lot of toys. Putting it together was pretty easy but the screws and hardware that it comes with are kind of cheap and flimsy; while screwing in one of the inside hinges, the head of the screw just snapped off! Also the lid of it is kind of heavy and the supports just slow it from slamming on fingers, it doesn't actually hold it open... which makes it a bit of a pain to fill it up, and I'm sure, in the future, my little one won't appreciate that as she is looking for a specific toy. But besides those minor things it seems to be pretty decent quality, and it does go beautifully with the rest of the set.

HABA Pixie's World Pram Decoration

Only 2 of the pieces on the cord are attached (the car & clover). The others (middle ones) are loose so that when you tie it, they all fall to the middle. You'd think they would come attached so that there is some spacing in between each one (that is how they are shown in the pictures, not all piled up together). It didn't bother me enough to return it but I did tie some knots so that the bead pieces wouldn't all fall to the middle the problem with that is that its almost impossible to put knots it front of the trees & I couldn't get them tied ... so after an hour of fixing this toy I gave up. I'll have to look for some non-toxic type glue gun to put a dab of glue on the two trees. It's very cute just could have been crafed better.

I love this pram chain and so does my 3 month old. I have it tied to his Perego infant carseat. The paint is safe for baby chewing and the colors are fun but not jarring. Adults compliment it everywhere we go. Maybe you don't see them that often. My friends loved mine and all went out to buy their own ;)Pleasant little bell sound that's found on many Haba toys. This would make a unique baby gift.

K's Kids I Am the Boss

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 7 month old son and he absolutely loves it. He will sit in the dinaosaur and kick the balls around, a great way to learn balance while sitting and kicking. I'd say the best toy we own. When we take it to go we throw other toys in such as blocks and rattles and he's set. Even our friends 18m and 3y old couldn't resist playing with it.

The only think you might want to know that other people haven't mentioned is that the included balls are soft and tend to dent. they are not like the hard balls in a ball pit at chuck-e-cheese. I consider this a good thing as they are safer for babies or toddlers when they fall on them.

The product showed up perfectly just as expected and the amount of balls it comes with is perfect. I got this for my nephew for his 1st BDay because he's obsessed with balls and I thought going this route instead of a full on ball pit would keep my brother in law from coming after me! well the balls still get all over the floor but he has fun popping them in and out of the lil holes on the sides. I would say it's more for younger babies though... it only holds his attention for a few mins and then he's over it and it's not the whole 'surrounded by balls' effect, but the toy does its job and is everything it claims to be.

Flamingo Toddler Costume

The outside parts of the costume are soft and the design is good but the quality of the lining is pathetic. The feet have velcro for ankle straps and if any of the velcro touches the lining then the lining immediately begins to unravel. The same sorry lining is in the head piece and it too unravels and tears easily. It's like working with spider webbing it is so fragile. Thought maybe it was just this costume but I purchased another one from another seller and it was just as sorry as the first one. Also the head piece must be made for adults because even the 18-24 months size was way too big for my 2.5 yo. We ditched the head piece and shoes and just let her wear the body suit. So far that part has not fallen apart. Would not buy again and would not recommend it unless you are going to completely redesign or sew it up yourself.

This costume is super cute. However, the head is huge! My daughter wore it for school and for some reason you can't adjust the head to fit tighter and so I only had a chip clip to help. That didn't work so well so the head kept falling around her head as it stays in place by Velcro under the chin. Have no idea how anyone would have such an enormous head but that should be better made.

Swimways Nemo Sun Canopy Float

I researched a lot of different floaties with sunshades before I picked this one for our 5-month-old baby, and frankly, I'm a little disappointed. Although our baby loves being in it, the leg holes already dig into his thighs when he leans back in the "seat" portion of the floatie. Also, the shade is made of the same blow-up material that the tube is made of, and it isn't ANYWHERE nearly as high as the picture makes it out to be. Our baby's head almost touches the shade when he's sitting in the floatie. It also isn't very wide and it doesn't stay up by itself (you have to keep a hand on it and keep adjusting it while the baby's in the pool), which is annoying.

Pros: Super cute, very safe (no chance a baby will fall out of it)

Cons: Poorly designed, sunshade doesn't really work

The Bruce Lee Duck came quickly and the company even included a free thank you gift in the packaging. The Duck was just as expected and it was a real conversation piece at my son's birthday party. It doesn't squirt water, which is a little disappointing, but it's sturdy and stays upright well.

Sing & Learn Musical MIC

We got this for our 10 month old daughter to use while at Grandma's house. She feel in love with it right away and is the first toy she goes right to when we visit Grandma. It allows her do do multiple activities like vocalizing into the mic, listening to animal sounds, names, and music, and has so many combinations of sounds and songs that even I still haven't heard them all. It keeps her interest for a very long time and so far is slobber proof...very important for a child who puts everything into their mouths.

I bought this for my 2 year old as a microphone is a suggested toy when working on speech and articulation. She loves this microphone but only because she can push the buttons (over and over) and sounds come out. The same sounds. Over and over. I swear to god, if I have to listen to that cheery voice say, "SING with me!" one more time, I will freak out. We have a lot of musical toys and this is by far the most annoying. There is no way to turn off the sounds and just use the microphone. In fact, if the toy isn't played with for a few seconds you hear "SING with me!" with no pushing of buttons. There is no way to select a specific song everything is random and the animals noises are incredibly annoying and useless. After one day, I am throwing this toy away. Completely noneducational and useless as a microphone.

My son received this for his first birhtday but I gave it to him when he was about 15 months.

PROS:

For a child who likes music this would be fun.

Easy to carry around. This is usually the toy that goes to doctor's visits, etc. There are two sound levels so it's not too loud.

The buttons are easy to push, ideal for little fingers.

CONS:

The animal sounds are not easily discernible.

The repetition is really annoying and the pitch of the voice leaves a lot to be desired.

It is not durable. My son threw it out his crib and that was the end of it. The light flashes but there is no sound. Changed batteries but no luck. If I shake it a bit it will work for a few seconds. I am buying another mic but certainly not this!

Educational I am not sure much is offered. The intent is there but the pitch of the voice makes it hard to understand what is being said.

Overall my son does enjoy playing with the mic, (he likes anything that makes noise). However after doing a little research I am convinced that there are much more beneficial toys on the market.

My 10 month old loves this toy! My 5 year old loves it too! It produces an echo when they sing into it. My baby loves to chew on the top and bottom as well as to hear all the songs and sounds. It entertains her in the car and she carries it around the house. My 5 year old loves to sing into it as the music plays in the background. I think she wants her own.

North American Bear Sleepyhead Cozy

This adorable little pink bunny lovey was the very first thing I bought for my daughter...before she was born and before I even knew it was a girl. I fell in love with it when I saw it in a local baby boutique store and said to myself if it was a boy he would just have to have a pink bunny. I tucked it away and when my daughter was born I put it in her bassinet so it was always there when she slept. She moved on to a crib and the bunny came with. We always take it while traveling and she carries it around and rubs it gently on her face, she likes to play with the tag in her fingers as well as just running her fingers on it (it is so soft!!) when she is tired to comfort and soothe herself as she is falling asleep. I have checked on her at night after I put her to bed only to find her laying in her crib with her bunny draped over her head or face (not blocking her breathing in any way because it is so petite that I don't worry about that at all). I have also caught her sucking on the knot in the hat for soothing purposes. Needless to say even though I bought her first one of these at a boutique store I decided I needed to get a back up in the event that we ever lost the other one or it got ruined. The store didn't have them anymore so I went on a search for it and found it here. Now we have one safely tucked away for a rainy day. Oh another thing is that it is very washable. I have thrown hers in the wash a few times now and it is still just as soft and looks almost new still except the tag which has frayed and the writing on it has faded so it is unreadable but she likes it better that way anyways and the tag is super soft now too.

My daughter is six months old and has consistently chosen the sleepy bear bunny to help her nod off as there are three different lovies in her bed. She puts the bunny across her chest and rubs her face with the ears. It is easy to wash and dry as I just put it in the dryer on low. I bought another for trips or if we lose the current bunny. I think it is hard to rate these items as all children choose there bedtime pal. However, it is small, not very thick, and has no choke hazards so I do not mind leaving it in the crib at night with the baby.

Now for my review, this whole line of cozies is so cute! Super soft, just the right size for little ones. My 3yr old has the pink bunny and my 2yr old has the blue hippo. They have held up nicely in the washer and stay soft. Colors will brighten up a bit with a long soak in oxy clean once then have been loved for a while. We've gotten rid of the bunnies hat, though...

Munchkin Ducky Hot Super Safety Bath

While I definitely agree that these duckies are not accurate for determining the temperature of your little one's bath water (I use a digital thermometer that is made for the bath), these duckies are perfect for those who are searching for tub toys that do not allow for the growth of mold. I bought 4 of these when my daughter was born 4 years ago because the characters were fun and she loved ducks. I just bought 4 more at Target when I saw a tv news segment on the growth of mold in bath squirters. It does not matter how much you try to remove all the water in the squirters, it will never completely dry out inside since the opening to the inside is so tiny. When I saw that tv segment, I cut open a few of the squirters and there was definitely black mold inside of them. I even bleached my toys every so often and still found mold inside of them. Needless to say, they all went into the trash and I went out and got more of these. These are one of the few tub toys available that are safe and I would definitely buy more of these in the future.

This is more of a toy than a safety measure in my house. It doesn't seem reliable or trustworthy. It worked the first couple of times I used it but the letters "H O T" soon lost their sensitivity to heat and ever since then we have kept it strictly as a bath toy.

My daughter has always loved to look at this floating in the bath with her and now that she can grasp items she wants, she loves to play with it, too.

I understand the description said colors may vary, but not the whole style of the ducky. I ordered a girl ducky as a babyshower gift and got some boy sport ducky. If the pic for the product is geared toward girls it should be a girl ducky that I receive. I'm still giving her the one I got, but I was pretty dissapointed.
