We bought this swing a few weeks ago and my infant loves it. It seems comfortable and though it is big for him, I do like the fit, as he will grow into it and I am not worried about him falling out as I push him in it. The seat belt is an added bonus, though not the best feature of this swing. Very easy to use just hang it up once you get it no assembly needed.

This seat was purchased to replace the cheap toddler seat that came with the swing set. What a difference in quality!!! I expect the seat to last longer than the swing set. Our toddler loves it and we feel completely safe with him in it.

The children loved all the different kinds and they floated upright, every one of them.. The colors are very clear and bright, however the party duck had the little blower pulled out of his mouth first thing and there is no way to fix it.

My son hated his room, or crib, or both. It's likely my fault. I resisted a mobile because it didn't really work with the decor and I didn't know if he'd really love it.

Insert Chico First Dream Crib Mobile. All of a sudden my two month old son that would scream bloody murder when laid down loves his crib. You can actually lay him down awake and tired and this entertains then lulls him to sleep.

Best part of all, the mobile has a sound detector that is perfectly sensitive. Coos are nothing but when he starts crying this kicks on and buys me a few more seconds to rub my eyes open and grab a bottle. It's even been known to get him back to sleep unaided!

Very minor complaints, the projector started jerking a little but a light slap and it was back to normal for now. Oh, and it runs on batteries. In my book, the adjustment to sub-par wine for our new battery budget is easily accepted.

This mobile bridged the "plastic, shiny, toys with lights and sounds" and "mommy really likes mid-century clean lines" line.

We purchased this crib mobile in hopes that it would help our 4 month old with her difficulties falling and staying asleep. She absolutely loves the lights and is mesmerized by the planets & stars on the ceiling. Unfortunately, the music even in the quietest mode is still really loud and the songs are way too upbeat and high pitched to be soothing from a sleepiness standpoint. The mobile definitely keeps her attention and she enjoys laying in her crib for some quiet play time, so we won't be returning it, however, I definitely wouldn't recommend spending the money for this mobile if you're only looking for something soothing for bedtime. We'll be sticking with the much less expensive musical seahorse for bedtime readiness. If I were to just rate the mobile/toy itself I would give it 4 stars, however since it's advertised as something that helps babies with sleep, I give it 3 stars.

im really happy with this crib mobile it keeps my baby busy all the time looking at the lights and the toys, but the only disadvantage is the battery finishes very quickly i recommend odering boxes of batteries with it.

This mobile is so frustrating. I knew I wanted a mobile that projects on the ceiling. This mobile does, and it's very cool, but that's where the coolness ends. The mobile part detaches, and it's a good thing, because otherwise it sits at a really weird slanted angle. It only plays two really long songs. it DOES NOT attach to the newer decorative cribs with thick rails that convert into beds later. But the projections were so neat that I didn't want to return it. The round base sat freely (without the mobile) on the nightstand for 3 months and we just used it like that. Then, after a trip to the fabric store, some nylon cord, and some tiny fabric hooks, my husband trimming some extra plastic from the back, and a hole drilled through the plastic ledge, I fashioned a way to securely attach it to our sons crib. Waaay to much messing around. Chicco needs to update their crib attachments!

Sesame Street 1st Birthday 8 3/4in Centerpiece

I don't know why Amazon has this come up with a toy review, but this is not a toy. It's a party decoration. As such, it is fine. It is easy to assemble, just fold and insert a few tabs. They stay independently. I used mine indoors only. And they added a lot of color with little effort and money. They lasted through the party and I was able to reflatten them and save them. I can't remember if I needed to use tape to secure them.

This is an adorable little set, as are the other "Carrier with Sound" sets by Aurora. But, please take note that the names of the animals are NOT embroidered on their sides. I contacted Aurora directly when the Safari set arrived (I bought the Safari, First Pets and Barnyard Carriers) since I thought maybe it was defective since the names were missing. (I subsequently received the First Pet set without the names as well. The Barnyard set was from a different seller and must have been older since "COW", "PIG", etc. were labeled). I was informed by an Aurora representative that their new production of these toys lack the animal names embroidered on their little bodies. Why they would make such a change does not make sense to me... I informed the rep of my disappointment since the animal names were actually a selling point. Hopefully Amazon will update the product pictures so more customers do not have this same experience... Really a shame since having the names on the animals is a nice learning tool. My 11 month old son is able to understand and follow the instruction of, "No, press the 'w' and the cow will moo, not the 'c'". POOR CHANGE, AURORA.

Also, as for the sounds that this set emits when you squeeze the respective animal; the bird has a cute, realistic chirp, the cat an expectant meow, the bunny a sweet snuffling sound (wasn't sure before I purchased what sound a bunny would make!), the dog pants and barks, (though in my opinion, not the best representation of a dog).

My one and a half year-old received this as a present, and she loves it. I didn't know that they used to make the animals with the names on them, so I didn't miss this feature at all. This toy is perfect for traveling, and the animals are just the right size for her little hands. My three year-old son has also had some fun "sharing" this with her.

I had bought one of the farm animal and barn sets for my nephew. He loved it so much at Christmas that I got this set for a friend's daughters birthday. Everyone thought it was very cute.I was surprised at how natural the animal sounds are. I fear the squeakers may not hold up, but time will tell. As other reviewers have stated, it was disappointing that the animal names were not embroidered on the animals. They are SO soft though.

Now, I will have to get a set for my little guy when he is old enough.

The First Years Star Teething Blanket

My 3-month-old son sucks on cloth blankets, burp cloths, bibs, wash cloths, my t-shirt etc so I got this knowing that he will enjoy it and he does. What makes this blanket a great choice is that there is a little squeak toy sewn into one corner of the star very entertaining! Another corner and the center of the blanket crinkles. Each corner offers a different texture for the baby to touch/ suck on. There is even a plastic ring which I use to attach the blanket to his bouncer/ infant gym and even onto his bib for easy access. I hand wash the blanket each night so that its dry by morning (he doesn't sleep with it). It washes well the squeak toy still works. I'm also glad that the blanket could absorb his drool without getting soggy. There is even a rubbery teething corner that he loves to search for and lick :) The best part is the price of the blanket. It's definitely worth it.

I bought this blanket for my 4 month old when she had teething symptoms but was not able to hold onto teethers. She liked the blanket right away. She bites on only the blue rubber corner and doesn't use it while teething but she likes playing with it and the blanket keeps her busy.

The other two corner has a silky-satin feel. Among these the corner with multicolor has a slit and comes with a link to hang the blanket onto something. I used to attach the blanket to my baby's bouncer seat before but now that she is older she can find it on her own.

The center green star part also crinkles.

It is a good addition to her toys. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is supposed to be a teething blanket but my baby did not find comfort biting on any of the corners while teething. If you are looking for something just for teething, my recommendation would be to try 'vullie sophie the giraffe'. I came to know of it after wasting a lot of money on teethers and that is by far the best. However, if you would like something to teach your baby different textures and have fun with bright colors,this is the blanket for you.

My 6 month old son loves this toy! I leave it in the car so that he has something to do in the carseat. One of its best aspects is that if he drops it (and what baby won't?) it just lands in his lap so he can pick it up again. Most other toys would end up on the floor of the car. He also loves the crinkly center and the teething edges.

This is seriously the best blankey toy ever! The crinkle sound is the bee's knees! I have a daycare and it is the most popular toys for my 6 mo old and 5 mo old!!! They love it! It does need to be washed in a pillow case though, according to directions on tag, but I have washed in right in my machine without a case and it's been fine. can be fluffed in dryer on low at the end of a load of laundry.I have not had problems with pilling or the squeaker. It spot washes super easily and hand washes just as easily. Have fun!!

My son is now almost 10 months and doesn't play with this toy as much, but when he was 4 months, this was his #1! It is about the size of a washcloth, so don't be mistaken that it's a blanket, it is just cloth material so that's why it's called that. He loved all of the colors & noises it makes! His favorite was the dark blue rubber corner of the star he is always chewing on everything (he had 2 teeth at 3 months) so this toy was perfect. This toy was always perfect for playing peek-a-boo also! The zebra corner crinkles, and that always seemed to catch his attention.

The one negative: The red corner is a squeaker. I've had to wash this toy numerous times (due to him spitting up on it, or just getting gross from him sucking on it) and after about the 3rd time, the squeaker stopped working. It's not a huge deal, consitering when my son learned how to squeak it, the dog went nuts :) Overall, it's a great toy, and will definitely be passed on to our next child! Highly recommend!

Chicco Dance Walker Activity Center

This walker is an wonderful and sturdy product and we are really happy we bought it. We had originally bought a safety 1st walker which was pretty flimsy and the music was way to loud with no way to adjust the the volume level. This one not only has two settings for volume it also plays a variety of other sounds and songs and it even has a little locking storage tray for you to plug in your mp3 player if you don't like the music the walker is playing. While the mp3 player is on, the lights on the walker will continue to shine when your baby hits the buttons which is and added plus to keep your baby from being bored (our baby get's bored easily)

I would absolutely recommend this walker to anybody who is looking for a nice walker. It is spendy, but if you compare the quality of this one to others, you know why it's so expensive. And I figured, that if I buy nice brands now, I will hopefully get a good use out of them and have a better chance of selling them later on when my child has grown out of it.

My pediatric developmentalist would have a fit (walkers always a no-no!), but my 7 month-old son likes this walker. He seems happy to have a little independent movement and he likes the toys and sounds on the front of the walker. I don't keep him in there long, I feel like 15-20 minutes is the maximum. Sometimes he doesn't even stay in it that long because this is a baby that likes to be held. A lot. :) But it is a good alternative to the Jumperoo and Exersaucer (also no-nos according to the specialist, but she has no children).

This is my daughter's absolute favorite toy. She is now 3 months old and has had it since she was 1.5 months. It is easy to take places, and I can put other toys inside for transport.

The Smurfs Romper And Headpiece

I'll give you the con right off the bat: it's cheaply made. I expect this from a costume though.

The fit worked for us. The size listed is 2-4T. My son is long and lean and usually wears a size below his age group (right now he is 2 yrs 2 mths and his 2T clothes are still a bit large on him). The costume was a tiny bit big, but we were happy enough with the fit. It would have to be a very small 3-4 year old for this to work. I think the more accurate size is 1-2 yrs.

This costume is adorable! It was worth the money ($29) to me for the reactions of everyone who saw him in it, the photos we got, and just the happiness I get from that much cuteness. I didn't see any other kids wearing this so it had the unique factor too.

Unless you're crafty with a sewing machine and could make your own for less money and better quality, I highly recommend this costume.

Got this for my 1 in a half year old son for Halloween. Fit him perfectly even thou he is a little taller than the average 1 year old. The tail fell off after the first time he wore it...sewed it back it and it look just like new, we attended 3 Halloween parties and the costume held up wonderfully. I ordered this product for my toddler for Halloween. It arrived on time, but came with 3 brown stains. It also, shows anything that is worn underneath it and is very thin!... I tried to contact them to return it, and they will not return for the full price... So I have paid to have it shipped originally, paid for the product, and now I have to pay to ship it back and receive only 80% back of the original outfit cost. Had I have known that I would have never ordered it. EVER Especially since the sizing on this product is difficult to interpret, I assumed there would be no hassels on returns...

This item is thicker than most Halloween costumes I have seen. My son will be 11 months when he wears this in October so I went with the 1-2 because he is long. It seems to run big, I probably should have gone a size down. Other than that I'm very happy with my decision.

My 5 month old girl loves this rattle. Shake it in front of her and she stares at it, and immediately reaches for it. Sometimes she shakes it, sometimes it goes straight into her mouth (she's beginning to teethe). Either way, it's clear she enjoys it and it catches her interest. My only complaint is that it is a bit hard, and she bangs herself in the head with it, but not hard enough to hurt her. This is a great rattle.

Fisher Price Brilliant Basics Block Cart Walker

My one-year-old daughter loves this toy, but grins turn to tears pretty fast. Whenever she bumps into anything with the walker (chair, wall, dresser), the walker tips over backwards (there's no counterweight to baby) and my little one falls and hits her head on the floor.

My son has had this walker since he was 9 months old. He is now 13 months, and he still loves it. He zooms around the house with it, happy as can be. We've had no trouble with it tipping over. And even though he can now push the walker around like a champ, he still plays with the blocks all the time. Considering the inexpensive price (we managed to find it for $10 at a local store sorry, Amazon!), this walker is easily one of our best baby purchases so far.

My grandson was walking along the edge of furniture but not venturing away. I purchased this toy for his first birthday. His aunt showed him how to use it and he was off! Pushing it around the room. When he ran into things he got down on his knees and pulled the toy back and then he could go again. He never pushed it away from him and face planted. It wasn't two weeks later that he was walking on his own. He doesn't use the shapes nowbut he will later. Good toy!

not smooth as expected). The letters were not consistently the same color as if the color was either not put on properly or rubbed off before packing. Nevertheless we are having a great time with them.

Skip Hop Treetop Friends Stroller Toy

I have nothing bad to say about this toy. It's well made, unisex if not a little masculine (which is rare for owl-themed toys), has lots of places to chew on, and the sound is pleasant. I love owls, so I had to have it for my son. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we also have the Lamaze owl stroller toy, which seems to keep his attention for longer than this one.

Even at ten months old, this adorable owl rattle by Skip Hop is still one of my son's favorites. His soothing, soft chimes are such a pleasant change from the typical rattle or dog-toy-like squeak found with many other baby toys. I love that this little guy is machine washable as he goes almost everywhere with us, clipped to our diaper bag. Mr. Owl will definitely be one of the few toys that we pack away to keep for our second baby.

I bought this little doll for my 12-month-old daughter she loves to practice her "pincer grasp" on small items, so I thought this toy, with all of its little "bits" would allow her a safe outlet for this (instead of picking up random crumbs and lint :) Little Dragobert does just that, and his floppy arms, colorful outfit and mellow rattle just add to the fun. I bought this for my 17 month old daughter, I think that maybe it is a little to difficult for her right now. She likes to play with it but whenever she tries to put the blocks through the holes she knocks the whole thing over and just gets frustrated. If she lays it down and plays she does better but then she gets frustrated because she has to pick it back up to find where the blocks went, plus at this point she hasn't figured out how the gears work for lining up the shapes, so if they get a little off she just tries to cram the shape in the hole and again gets frustrated when it doesn't work. I like the design of the toy but I just wonder if maybe she'll enjoy it a bit more once she is a little older and can find tune those skills a bit.

this is an EXCELLENT toy to teach ur child shapes. my son is currently 22 months and it is perfectly challenging enough for him! turning the gear also makes it more challenging. this keeps my kid busy for a long time.

This is a really cute shape sorter and the one that we settled on when looking for one for our 16 month old. It is absolutely adorable! Seems well made and it makes a satisfying "plunk" sound when the shapes drop through. It is a bit tricky for him to figure out right now and the gears turning make it even more challenging...which will be good for a long time! Definitely get this shape sorter, it is much more fun than the little cubes and such!

I like the fact that they have to turn th gears to get the shape in right, I bought it for my 15 mo. Old and her and her 2 1/2 yr. Old sister really enjoy figuring it out.

The front loading aspect is great for children that do not look at a traditional cube shape sorter. I work with autistic children that have a difficult time looking at the cubes and flipping the box around. This toy helps build skills for those more difficult ones by gaining experience with putting shapes in/observing the shapes. Also the shapes roll out so you don't have to take time to open the box, etc. I work with children with varying degrees of abilities and some love the spinning mechanism and trying to turn with the block to get the shape into the hole. It's a very cute toy!
