My baby loves this. I only wish the dangling toys were a bit higher. They almost sit on top of her when she is under it.

My son loves to play on this. The songs are super cute, and he loves to look at the lights! I just wish it was a little easier to store. It folds, but it doesn't fold up enough to make it easier to store. Otherwise, SUPER cute product. I kinda wished I had splurged on the one with the piano on the feet, though. But my baby still seems to have fun with this!

My 8 month old wore this for almost 5 hours and was as happy as could be in it. She loved to flap the gloved flipper hands. The separate headpiece was comfy and roomy enough to layer a hooded sweatshirt underneath. I would say it was true to size. We purchased a size larger than needed to make it right for layering clothes underneath. The fabric is only medium weight and is ultra soft. It is actually a bit slick so had to be extra careful when holding her not to lose our grip. We received many compliments that it was one of the cutest infant costumes they had seen. I believe this was a good purchase. The greens and pattern of the fabric were well done and look even better than the product photo. The turtle shell is thick and cushiony.

This costume is so cute and my toddler loves it. However it is made of thin material that makes it appear cheap. The head was a bit large and the turtle's nose was a little uneven. I thought about returning but once I put it on my toddler he looked adorable! So I just hand sewed the nose and neck straps and the costume was perfect! I will just add some sweats underneath for trick or treating.

Green Lantern Child

Here's a great superhero costume for Halloween. My son didn't want to be another Spider-Man, Superman or Batman. He wanted something unique, so we searched around and found costumes from the Justice League -Green Lantern, The Flash and Wonder Woman. Well, he chose the Green Lantern because he didn't want his head covered with The Flash's mask.

We also picked up the Green Lantern Flashing Ring to complete the costume. He's tried the costume out and is excited for Halloween.

UPDATE: The costume worked out fantastic! An added bonus is that the long sleeves and the muscle build kept our son warm during the Halloween trick or treating, too.

I bought this for my son because he loves Green Lantern and wanted to be him for Halloween. He was absolutely thrilled when it arrived. It was a surprise! There were only 2 issues that were brought up. One was the choice of hue of green. It should have been a much darker green. The costume itself is what we were expecting. However, there should have been velcro all the way down the back, otherwise it just sits wide open. My son enjoyed his Halloween immensely!

I am very disappointed with this costume. It is a drab sea foam green instead of a vibrant kelly green. I didn't expect much durability based on the price but it is poorly made and just overall not satisfactory. My son still wants it but I think I will find something better and donate this one since returns are a pain.

This costume is poor quality even when compared to the typical cheaply made costume. Contrary to the picture, the costume does not have the faux boots, it has green material on the legs ending at the ankles and that's it. The patch on the center is sewn on by a few stitches in the center and so it flops around everywhere. The stitching that holds the color on is loose and black, so that the stitches show very visibly all around the collar. The neck where the only closure is is impossibly tiny and doesn't fit around my 2 year old's neck, let alone the 5 year old for whom the costume is intended, yet the back directly under the collar closure gapes open so that a huge v shape isn't covered.

Infantino 20 Piece Matching Puzzle

My three year old loves this puzzle. The pieces are large, thick and colorful. It comes in a great box that has a rope carrying handle, so storage is not a problem and the pieces won't get lost easily. It's a great puzzle that helps with the recognition of animals and with fine motor skills.

She calls it "pieces" and loves trying to name the animals and pulling out all the different pictures. Would definitely purchase again.

We purchased these for our daughter when she was about 18 months old and she has always really enjoyed them! They are a good step up from the simple chunky wooden puzzles and offer a bit more of a challenge to her at this point. She loves searching through the set to find the matching tails for all the animals -overall they are quite entertaining for her! The puzzle pieces are thick & sturdy she's been playing with them for about 3 months now and so far the only signs of wear & tear are on the box the puzzle pieces still look great! And speaking of the box . . . my one small complaint is that the little rope handle that goes over the box lid is so short that it is difficult for us (parents) to open and therefore nearly impossible for our daughter to open hence the ripped lid of the box. But, I guess I don't know if we just somehow ended up with a shorter handle than most of them have. Overall, a very fun product and I would recommend it if your toddler loves puzzles!

We bought this for our daughter's second birthday. She has recently shown more interest in puzzles and can do most peg puzzles on her own. She absolutely loves this. It is fun for her to find the matches, say the animal names or sounds, and put the pieces together. She sometimes needs help, but she can usually put the pieces together by herself once she has a match. This is a nice intermediate puzzle to move her to the next level from peg puzzles to regular ones and a great activity to do together. The pieces are very sturdy, but a child who is used to wood puzzles needs to be watched or they may chew on the pieces.

Now that my boy has his first tooth, I can say that he drools considerably less with his necklace. But it is kind of small so if you have doubts i would go to Toys' R Us and look at it before buying it. This is really for smaller kids 1-3; perfect size! My son got this gift for his 1st birthday. Right away he was mostly interested in the blue button (which makes noises.) Everytime he would push, he would smile and giggle. Now, after having the toy for a little while he has figured out how to make it drive by pushing the red button. We have it in our kitchen and it's the first thing he wants to play with when he wakes up in the morning. He still hasn't figured out how to steer it, but he's only 1 year old and he will figure that out eventually. He loves the toy!

Also, I've read some complaints about kids not fitting. I have no idea how this is true. My 1 year old is 24 lbs and 30 inches long and fits fine with plenty of room to spare. I've also had my nieces and nephews over. My almost 5 year old niece was able to fit and drive it too.

I bought this rattle as a baby shower gift for my sister-in-law. It is very soft and lightweight so it should be easy for the little one to pick up and play with when she is big enough. It was definitely worth the money!

Binkibear The Original Pacifier, Classic Brown

I was hesitant to buy this at first because we only use the Gumdrop Pacifiers and I didn't see how I could attach those to the bear. It took some effort but I WAS able to do it (see the pictures I uploaded in the product images).

The directions I got with the bear state that it can be tossed in the washing machine pacifier and all but I have not done that. It's a personal preference, just not sure how safe it is to get laundry detergent on a pacifier, even if it's rinsed. So I wash the pacifier by hand with hot water and replace it when necessary.

When I first bought this my baby (then 8 months) did not like this bear because it was a bit heavy and it kept pulling the pacifier out of her mouth. Within a few days, though, she really got used to it. Before buying this, I was going nuts in the dark trying to locate the pacifier in her crib, and the fact that she has designs on her crib sheets didn't help matters because it was easier to lose among them! I purchased this bear to solve my problem, and it solved my baby's problem, too when she starts crying at night she locates the bear (easy enough to do, even half asleep), puts the pacifier in her mouth and falls back asleep in no time. This bear is a lifesaver!

My title says it all. This is better than any of the other ones out there, especially if you have a toddler that's always trying to figure out how to take things apart. My little one is obsessed! Thank you to who made this!!! We use nuk, natursutten, and dr browns with this guy. Only problem, where can we buy a pink one!!???

My one year old daughter LOVES her BinkiBear! It's especially great at night because she would always call us if she could not find her pacifier in the middle of the night. The teddy it is attached to is too big to fall through the crib slats like her other pacifiers so now it is very easy for her to find and put herself back to sleep! It's great to take on trips for the same reason you don't have to worry about keeping track of it or having extras "just in case". We also noticed when we take the binky off to wash, she will cuddle with the bear because she is very used to having the bear around when it's rest time. As we get ready to start weening her off the pacifier, it makes us feel better that she is just as much in love with the teddy bear as the binky and we believe it will make the transition easier for her. I also like that you can use almost any pacifier because when we first got it, she didn't like that type of binky (she does now). It also comes with a teether that you can use with it or by itself. The paci and bear have been washed probably a hundred times and its held up quite well. Would highly recommend!

overall this product was good and the only problem I have with it is it was delivered with half the water missing from the aquarium part at the bottom so the fish doesnt float and it doesnt make the bubbles it should. have to exchange for another one.

~BACKGROUND~

I purchased this soother for my 4 month-old as a change from his overhead music mobile.

~PROS~

3 different time settings:

1) lights w/ music/sounds, and movement for 6 minutes

2) lights and music/sounds for 12 minutes

3) music/sounds only for 18 minutes.

real water bubbles in the soother which is pretty neat.

3 sound types classical, lullabies and rainforest.

3 sound levels high, medium, low.

easy activation by the press of a button on the face of the unit.

~CONS~

The lights are way too bright to be a "soother".

The straps that hold the soother on are difficult to use. Once it is one it's sturdy and not going anywhere though.

More bubbles would be nice as there aren't that many.

Uses batteries pretty quickly if you use this soother regularly.

~CONCLUSION~

Other than being too bright it is a welcome addition to our son's collection. I consider this to be more of an "entertainer" than a "soother" due to the brightness of the lights. We still prefer the:

Bought it for my son when he was born. Now he is five and STILL likes to fall asleep to this music box. If we awakes during the night, he tuns it in to soothe himself back to sleep.

The first soother lasted 5 years almost to the day! He finally wore that one out and so we had to get a replacement.

This is at the very top of my "must have for baby" listright after car seat and crib.

Evenflo Splash Mega Exersaucer

PROS: Reasonably priced, doesn't require batteries, higher weight limit than most jumpers, interesting toys that can snap out and be exchanged.

CONS: Springs in the legs sometimes snap out of place (easy to fix, but annoying), no 'kickstand' to stop the Exersaucer from wobbling around

BEST USE: Around 6 months in age

4 MONTHS: We bought this when our son was 4 months old, it took him another month to really grow into it. Had it come with some stoppers (old school exersaucers used to have them) it could have stayed still and been less scary, though he adjusted quickly.

6 MONTHS: Ideal age, able to interact with toys, but because child is not really mobile wouldn't object much to hanging out and playing. Would play for 30 minute clips easily.

8 MONTHS: Nearly obsolete. While my son was still within the weight limit, he really didn't like to sit still. He might hang in there for 5-10 minutes, but no longer.

12 MONTHS: Gave it away.

RECOMMENDATION: Worth the investment. It provided a safe, entertaining place for my son to play if I had to run to the bathroom or couldn't closely monitor his playtime because I was preparing dinner or answering the phone. My son loved jumping up and down in it and it was his favorite toy for a while. Once he started standing and walking, he didn't want to be restricted and would fight me as I'd try to put him into the walker (however, he liked to stand and play with it I used it as a blockade between a wall and sofa).

This is one of my 4 1/2-month-old twins playing in the exersaucer. I show the toys that come with it and how they snap in and out, and a chewy fishie that doesn't come with it but you can order on Amazon as well. I also show how well my son fits into it (he is 25" long), as well as give my opinion on how the exersaucer is holding up. Please pay no attention to the dirty diapers in the background, I have two teething twins and a husband on deployment :)

The good: My 6 month old baby boy loves to rock out in here. I'm very glad I didn't get one with MORE "bells and whistles" because the stuff on this one is plenty, in fact i don't even use all the attachments at once because he gets overwhelmed. I can't imagine the overload from one of the crazy ones that costs more. This thing is plenty entertaining and it totally wears him out.

The bad: At 6 months old and only 70 percentile in height, he is (according to the instructions) already supposed to be on the highest height setting so that he's on tippytoe not flat footed. So that seems rediculous, he would outgrow on height almost immediately. Also, because he's still pretty lightweight it seems top-heavy if I put it on the highest setting AND it also seems uncomfortable because then he is "hanging" from his hips too much and not actually practicing standing -so actually i put it on the middle setting and just sit right next to it and watch very very carefully to avoid any chance of him accidental flipping it. (He can definitely really get it rocking and rolling!)

My mother in law continually told me I needed some kind of Exersaucer or jumper or walker for our baby. I resisted because something about giant plastic toys that claim to help develop your child physically makes me uneasy and smacks of commercialism. The little toys all around the Exersaucer looked so overwhelming to me that I thought they'd cause ADHD. I finally bought this, though, to give my MIL a 'win' since I have a very different parenting ethos, and after some moms I respected mentioned how much their kids loved their Exersaucers.

I must admit, my daughter LOVES this toy. She's a large baby and is having trouble rolling over even now at 6 months old despite tons of floor time and 'exercise'. We bought this around 4.5 months, and I think the Exersaucer gave her a taste of physical freedom that she hasn't been able to enjoy on the floor, and reinvigorated her sense of excitement about using her body. She is very good at standing up and bouncing, even if she can't roll yet. She smiles for joy every time we put her in, and mischievously bounces to her hearts content. She loves the little doo-dads all around the edges and turns and reaches for them. I've seen her really start thriving physically since buying this. The first time we put her in she only lasted 5 minutes, and rarely lasts more than 15-20, but she really loves every minute she's in there.

It's huge and takes up tons of space in our little condo, but it is worth it. I am a hippie mom, and an Exersaucer convert. Let your child have this guilty pleasure if you're like me and on the fence!

We got this for our youngest grandchild so he could be a part of all the activity when they come to visit. I purchased this for my 3 1/2 month old baby for Christmas and she loves it. I actually bought the bunny first and then ordered the lamb because I was so impressed with the quality. This pool, like most or all on here, has a regular bottom. My Mother0in0Law had gotten one last summer for a little less from a local store and it lets you inflate the bottom, so there's more cushioning for the kiddos. I really wish this had it, but it seems most if not all on here don't. It did well our first time and I expect it to be fine the next times.

My husband and I bought this pool for to use as a ball pit for our 12 month old daughter. So far it seems like a good blow up pool, and we love the color's of it much better than the one shown in the original pic. We did not have a pump to blow it up with but it did not take long at all (aobut 10 min) to blow it up by mouth (we took turns). We bought 200 play balz to fill it with and for her age that is plenty, but we will add another 100 balz when she is a little older.

My hostess used these at one of my baby showers. It was a very cute idea for an entrance/exit game or raffle prize, and everyone loves to play the lotto. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the silver covering you have to scrape off the card was really thick and sticky. You needed a coin versus just your fingernail and the left over silver residue got all over our hands and the table they were sitting on. Not a big deal if you plan ahead of time to do these on a disposable table cloth, etc. I just wouldn't hand them out for being to scrape off over their laps or clothes.

I first encountered "Fuzz that Wuzz" in a bookstore, and liked the idea of creating plush toys from soda bottles. Especially as I drink a lot of diet soda, and send the bottles off for (I hope) recycling.

So when shopping for my niece's first birthday I picked up four critters from this series: a cow, a horse, a bear, and an elephant. All seem to be well made, and baby friendly. They tend to be on the more stuffed and therefore more rigid side of plush, and while soft enough they are not as luxurious as some plush. Thus they are better suited for play than for cuddling.

Moozzzz is a cute little cow who stands upright and shows off her classic Holstein pattern.

This thing is incredibly cute but the outside is rough like a military grade wool blanket from the army surplus store.

We were having trouble deciding what to get our new baby boy for Christmas this year. After all he will only be 3 months old. When we came across this adorable teething rattle we thought it would be just perfect for him. We love the baby einstein toys they are always good quality toys. This little teething rattle was exactly what we expected and we are very pleased with our purchase. This rattle does rattle and it is very colorful, so it will be sure to keep his attention, it also has a top that is made for teething so it will give him something to chew on. We recommend this product to others. It is alot cheaper on Amazon than it is in the store too!

Just received this product yesterday. My 5 month old daughter loves to chew on this. It is easy for her to hold onto. I definitely recommend it.

This rattle is great! The shape of it makes it easy for my son to hold and bring to his mouth. It really gets his attention every time I shake it in front of him. He loves chewing on it because it's not too soft and it's not too hard. I would definitely buy this again.

I tried to wash this toy but it filled up with water soapy water. I am also not sure if it is BPA free or not. Since it is not advertised as such, I assume not. I think I will hold out for a dishwasher safe BPA free toy.
