When I saw this bunny online I ordered it right away for my daughters Easter basket. When it came in the mail, I was shocked at the size of it. For $20 I could not justify keeping it. It was adorable and very well made just like all Jellycat things, but so so small. I know I should have read the dimensions but really I assumed it was the size of the other Jellycat stuffed animals. I ended up getting a rabbit from Target for half the cost and double to size.

I had to give this little girl 4 stars because of the quality and detail ... She's really precious. Very well made, super soft and cuddly, but not including the floppy legs and ears, she's about four inches. For the price, sadly she is going back.

Lamaze Celeste Play & Grow

I bought this toy for my newborn, and she has really warmed up to it (especially the sunshine side). I think it will also serve as a nice lesson on daytime and nightime when she's older, as it has a sun on one side and a moon on the other. The toy seems very durable, with nice bright colors and strong construction. If I could change one thing, it would be the hanging hook, which won't open to put it around large bars. You have to put it around a string or a thin bar.

Aside from that, I plan on buying more of these Lamaze products for my curious little daughter.

There are so many ways for baby to engage self with this one little toy, it's amazing! The little blue square with the parrot on it is a rattle baby can bat or jostle for several minutes of fun. Bee is a sweet little squeak toy. Star is a textured teether. And the textured rings are a nice touch as well. All of these in addition to the different colors and textures of the cute, cute sun. And then there is the adorable moon on the reverse side. Of course, the faces on the sun and moon are fun for baby, too. It's easy to see how the use of this toy will grow with baby so it will be useful for several months or longer. A very impressive little toy. It should be on every new mom's must have list.

Our 5 month old twins have had several Lamaze toys like this one. They absolutely love them. We first got this one at 4 months. They were completely taken by the sunny face and wealth of things to grab onto. Now at 5 months, they've started specifically zeroeing in on what they want to grab on this toy as it hangs over them on their playmat. They love to chew on the knotted sun rays. Fisher-Price Growing Baby Musical Xylo Fish

The Xylofish looks super cute, and I thought it would be a great gift for my daughter who is currently 11 months. However, the three keys are so hard to play. Although the star is a good size for infants to hold, it doesn't do a good of actually striking the xylophone keys. Sound production is poor.

This toy's design is very cute, but the xylophone keys don't make any sound unless you hit them on a very small sweet spot -which is very tricky for our 14 month-old to do! Save your money or buy another music-maker for your child.

I got this toy for my 1 year old b/c she LOVES banging on all the pots and pans in the house! The star shaped wand is easy to grip, but when you hit the fish, nothing happens. You have to hit the little musical "keys" in exactly the right spot to get just a little "ping" and the bottom of the fish (where is rests on the ground) is curved, so when you hit it, it just rocks back and forth b/c it is not stable. Overall, a BIG waste! For the $10, just go to Kmart and buy a junky pot and plastic spoon b/c it will work WAY better than this!

These are perfect! Exactly what I had anticipated. And they shipped super fast. On a few areas there is stuffing coming out of them but you just need to pull that out past the stitching and it has been fine after that.

Imaginarium Foam Building Blocks - 100 Pieces

When my daughter was 1 we purchased wooden blocks for her. On more than one occasion the blocks managed to get under feet and injure someone in the household. That being said, we gave away the wooden blocks and purchased these. We've had them for four years and they are still in great shape. They have had hours of play. They stack well, retain their shape and color and don't hurt when you step on one. This was one of our best purchases for our daughter, who still plays with them.

The product is not as described. It is described as 100 Imaginarium Blocks but the blocks are made by Verdes. They are smaller and less colorful than Imaginarium Blocks. Also, they cost $44.99 and you can get 100 real Imaginarium Blocks at Toys R Us for $22.99.

This review is based on my Toys-R-Us branded set of the Imaginarium 100-piece blocks.

These blocks are durable and colorful. However, they are not uniform. The blocks are uneven sizes, perhaps 1/4" different between pieces. Big deal you say? The problem is that my 3-year-old is enthusiastic about building towers and castles but she can't get a structure of more than a few pieces tall before it falls.

I gave it a shot and did only marginally better than she did. Since the blocks are not identically-sized, any building made with them leans after stacking two or three on top of each other.

In my opinion, it is a detriment to have the child play with these because she thinks it is her own fault the tower falls down.

My recommendation is to buy a higher quality set or wooden blocks.

Bell Infant Mini Helmet

I never imagined how difficult it would be to find a bike helmet for my daughter, who just turned 1. Every helmet I find from the reputable brands (Bell, Gyro, Schwinn) are always advertised for ages 3 and up, and although my darling girl did inherit her father's larger than average head, the "toddler size" helmet just seemed too large and heavy for her. I came upon this helmet at a local sporting goods store yesterday, and it fits my girl perfectly!!! The only thing I had to do was adjust the chin strap to be a little tighter, and it's perfect! She even likes it, which surprised me, since she DOES NOT like hats, bows, etc. on her head. The buckle seems to be a great design that will eliminate the risk of pinching her. I also like the flashers/reflectors on the back, as an added visibility factor. We tried her in her bike seat, and it seems like it will work out great. We are all looking forward to our first family bike ride, and since we are in Florida, and it's 80 degrees in December, that may even happen this weekend! Kudos to Bell for what seems to be a great helmet for our smallest rider.

Fisher-Price has given your little one a thrilling toy in its Stand 'n Play Rampway Play Set Evel Knievel lives... Yes, although this rampway set is meant to allow cars to speed easily down the twin ramps, the toy we purchased for our grandson causes the cars to careen off the ramp that winds down the left-side of the structure. While he thinks it is great fun to watch the cars fly through the air, it is not good for anyone or anything in the way of the flying car.

I called Fisher-Price to determine whether we might have a defective rampway or whether something else was amiss. They said they had no other reports of flying cars and suggested we remove the ramp section that was causing the problem and snap it back into place. This helped some, but not enough to keep the cars from sailing through the air, though less frequently. We did notice the shorter, lighter cars tended to fly off almost all the time, while the heavier cars might stay on the ramp. The racecar and sportscar which are both 1.3 oz. and 1/8" shorter than the police car are the two extras which had the most trouble staying on the ramp. The police car which is 1.4 oz. and 3/8" shorter than the pickup truck (1.5 oz.) also tended to exit the rampway; the truck did stay on the ramp most of the time. A recall caused us to send back the two cars that came with the set before the ramp was assembled; once we receive the replacements and know how they perform, I will update this review.

Since this was not available on Amazon when we made our purchase, we bought it directly from Fisher-Price. The cost was $40; we were able to get free shipping through a promotion. Be sure to watch prices, there should be some nice promotions for the holiday season.

The Fisher-Price Stand 'n Play Rampway Play Set was easy to assemble. It is well finished in that there are no sharp edges which might scratch a child's skin; in fact, the edges are nicely rounded and very smooth. The set seems to be quite durable; our one-year old grandson pulls himself up using the rampway and it remains sturdy.

This is definitely a fun toy for little ones. Had we not had trouble with the cars staying on the rampway through the entire course of the race, it would have been rated as a five-star purchase.

My son is almost two and he loves this rampway. He had the Tonka triple track race car toy but it just didn't keep his interest at all. This FP toy, however, has more to it--longer rampway, two separate ways the cars can go down, a little gas pump that makes pumping noise, plus a few other noises when the cars exit the rampway, and a manual "elevator" the child can push up and down.

We don't have any problems with the cars flying off the track. On occasion they might fall off the ramp if my son pushes them down too hard or something. But it's not often at all and it just makes sense that occasionally the car won't roll down perfectly.

On a side note, my son also thinks it's hilarious to take his sister's Zhu Zhu pets down the rampway. :)

I've always been very happy with Fisher Price in the past, having had several of their toys since my oldest was a toddler 15 years ago. I just purchased this for our 16 month old, and she HATES it. The cars won't stay on the track. They fly off the edges and they tip over and slide down on their sides. I don't know if it's because the cars are so lightweight, or what the problem is.

The two cars that came with the set were recalled recently. The bottom of those cars say Made in Mexico and the recall was worried about the wheels coming off. Those went directly into the trash. I purchased two other car sets to go with the toy, and it's just so disappointing.

One thing to note: Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars work great (thanks to my 9 year old testing this out) but we don't let the baby play with these tiny cars yet.

My other trouble with this was assembling it. If the directions were in color, it would be easier to see where they want the red and yellow ramps to be placed.

Again, my 16 month old is frustrated and gets bored easily with this toy. I would not recommend it. I expected more from such a wonderful brand.

I got a previous version of one of these for my daughter as a gift. I was skeptical, but amazed at the calming effect it had during our 9 hour road trips to visit family. I pulled it out years later for my son and just lost it in a rental car switch. I am very eager to get a new one. I highly recommend it. My children are road warriors and this makes the trip more pleasant for us all.

I love this item! I had it in my car but NOT in my husband's car and wondering why everytime I put our little girl in his car she's always fussy and crying even on a short trip. Our baby HATED riding in the car until we got this toy. He would just scream and scream. But now when we put his car seat into the car, he is captivated by these pictures and will stare at them and then fall asleep. So this toy has been a real lifesaver for us. We also take the cards out of it and bring them into the house so he can look at them while having tummy time, etc. The only thing that would make this item better is more pictures, but there are still plenty included. I have a 3 month old son, and I bought this about a month ago when we were planning a vacation that would have us on the road for 18 hours. It definitely helped. I also got a Fisher Price auto mirror similar to the $12.99 version on this site (I got it at Toys 'R' Us) which he enjoys looking at himself in--and I can see him too, which is a plus. Bought this for Xmas stuffer for my 9 month old. She is teething like crazy n I thought this is cute to chew on. The purse has little beads in it but I think she has not even paid any attention to it. The two extending toys r easy to grasp n bite on. One has a little mirror but it's so little that she has not even notice she can see herself in it. Easy toy to play with.

I bought this for my 6 month old last year for Christmas. While it was not played with much I left it in the toy box because my 2 year old used the domes to play with other things. It's been about 11 months so my now 17 month old brings over the base and it has peeling green paint! I can't even touch where it's peeling with out it flaking off. I made sure to get rid of it right away. I would not recommend this item to any one especially those with small children who chew on everything!

Looked forever for it to replace one I gave away. The new one does not work properly. I was very disapointed in it.

Although this toy seems very simple, both of my children (now 2 1/2 and 14 months) have LOVED it! So much so that I'm ordering one for a friend's baby for Christmas. My kids have spent hours with this toy over the last few years. From the time my kids could sit up and grab things (7-8 months?) they really liked playing with this toy with my help, of course! The box states that it is great to encourage child/parent interaction. As they've grown, though both of my kids will play with it independently now, or with my help, stacking and restacking the levels in different ways. This toy is always "on top" of the toybox because it is used so much. I like it because the music is quiet and it encourages a higher level of thinking on the childs part; this isn't just a push the button and it makes noise kind of toy.

The box says 6m+. Well, that is not true. The only correct part is the +. As someone else mention, it is lame. True, the light is supposed to shine through and make the cups change color. False that it actually does this.

Also, the child has to have better dexterity and hand-eye coordination than a 6 month old has in order to appreciate this some what.It is super hard to stack if you're six months old. The grooves are very precise and it only plays a tiny bit of music when you put the cups into the narrow grooves. Once the baby knocks over the stack of cups, nothing happens and then she can't put it together herself.

It's boring, not as advertised, and frankly, not age appropriate according to box. Maybe when she's older ...

If I was writing this review based on my own thoughts, I would give it a 1 star. It's dumb, plays only a short tune and the whole "tower" doesn't light up when the cups are stacked.

However, since this toy isn't for me, my opinion doesn't count for much, except to say it is very durable and has withstood multiple children fighting over it.

My 11 month old absolutely loves this toy. He loves to stack it, he likes the sound it makes, and likes that the lights blink. It's not a fluke either we regularly have his playgroup friends over and this toy gets played with the most.

My 4 year old received his first Geotrax train set for his 1st birthday that included a remote control train, bridge, and a couple of location stops. We waited until he was a little older before we set it up to ensure that he could play with it and had an interest. I can't remember the first time we set it up (maybe when he was 2 1/2), but I believe the interest quickly took off for both him and his younger brother (age 2 1/2). Since then, we had added more track to allow for more track layouts.

A few months ago, we added the new Fisher-Price Transportation System GeoAir High-Flyin' Airportwhich includes a remote control airplane. Very cool! For Christmas,they received the Fisher Price Geo Trax Grand Central Station Mega Set, Mountain Blast Construction Site, and Fisher-Price GeoTrax Rail and Road System Helicopter. We also added the Fly-By Bridge with GeoAir Expansion Track (which is the item that allows the GeoAir Airport and Geotrax Train sets to be connected) and the GeoTrax Transportation System GeoAir Remote Control Blue Flash Jet Plane.

Our current layout allows all the pieces to be tied together the trains can go from downtown, through the country, past the bridge and airport, down to the mountain quarry and return in one trip! The boys love it!

Highly recommended train set for toddlers and I can see the interest staying for a few more years. In addition, very durable. You will go through lots of batteries though the planes, trains, and remote controls all take batteries.

GEO Trax , including this plane , all around is a great great toy for kids. My 4 year old has been playing with them since he was 2 and I expect him to play with them until at least 6 well worth the hundreds of dollars we have probably invested.

Fisher-Price Little People Disney Princess Songs Palace

Some times it is easy to decide if your child will like (or love) a certain toy. The Disney Little-People Princess Song Palace is one of those toys. If you have a daughter who like the Disney princesses then she will likely love this princess palace. It features all of the things that are needed to provide hours of imaginative play time. For our daughter (who is 3) immediately fell in love with her palace. She played with it for 2 hours straight, and begged to play with it before she went to bed. Rarely has she been so excited to play with a new toy.

I also feel that it will likely have some staying power. Most of our daughter's electronic toys have a tendency to fade after a week or two. They seem to be high on gimmick and low on long-term playing power. Because of the variety of princesses and the ability to integrate the princesses into story-lines it offers hours of imaginative play.

Notes-

Comes with Snow White and Cinderella, but more princesses can be purchased separately.

One of the coolest features is that when a princess is placed on the peg in the middle of the dance floor they will either state their name (in their true voice) or play a familiar phrase or song.

The dance floor has two small *cups* that will hold the princess and allow them to dance and twirl on the floor. In addition to the dance the palace also plays ball-room music.

-Assembly is a bit of a pain please allow about 30 minutes for assembly. Others have mentioned it but the assembly is not intuitive and can be a bit frustrating.

Two volume settings.

A tea pot int he kitchen make a tea pot sound and other sounds.

The front door play a quick but regal sound whenever the doors are opened or closed.

The elevator on the side of the palace is a bit difficult to use. It really does not go up or down easily this is probably our biggest complaint on the palace.

The Palace does come with some furniture including a bed, table, and two chairs.

Final Verdict This is a very easy recommendation for any little girl who enjoys the Disney princesses.

My hubby and I bought this palace, the additional princess dolls (set of 6 sold at Target) and the additional sets with the princes (sea carriage with Ariel and Eric is adorable!) all for our 2 year olds birthday. We opened the palace and she has not stopped playing with it since. This has become a toy that gets played with every single day. Our 5 year old loves it, too! This castle is a HUGE hit in our house. It has so many cute phrases and song clips from each of the princess movies. When you place the dolls on the center circle of the dance floor, each princess introduces herself, says a few character phrases and then sings a song clip from her movie. Our girls adore this feature. Our two year old claps in excitement and dances along with the songs. It's so cute. The palace also encourages the girls to be creative and use their imagination while playing. It came in a few easy to screw in and snap together pieces. You will need a small Phillips head screw driver to assemble some of it. Nothing major. No defects with our pieces. It took us about 10 mins to assemble, including peeling the stickers off the sheet and placing them on the pieces. This is a classically sturdy Fisher Price quality toy, it is colorful and fun. Each room or accessory has a sticker that incorporates parts of the Disney Princess movies. Example, Rapunzel's tower has the floating lanterns and a baby Pascal (her chameleon) painted on the wall. Another room is about Cinderella, the bedroom has the three good fairies from Sleeping Beauty. Our girls totally love the castle and all the dolls that we purchased to go with it. Their little imaginations run wild making up stories about being invited to the ball etc. Seeing our little ones happy makes us happy parents. No complaints from this family. If your little one(s) adore Disney Princess the way ours do, our advice is: buy this castle! :-)

I was so excited to get this for our 3-year old who LOVES Little People but have a mixed experience with it.

I can totally see how as a kid, this toy would be AMAZING.

As a parent, however, I have had some frustrations:

1. The first castle we bought only recognized some of the princesses Cinderella thought she was Rapunzel and we couldn't even get Tiana or Sleeping Beauty to work at all (from the expansion pack). I would imagine this is a fluke, but we had to get right back in the car and return it (bought at Target for less than this Amazon price). The good news is they accepted it fully put together as defective, but I would definitely suggest testing the base before putting the whole thing together.

2. Speaking of assembly, you absolutely must have very skinny Phillips Head -we had a heck of time getting a screw driver tiny enough and long enough for some of the screws/pieces and you have to be very careful not to strip them in the process.

3. For a more expensive toy, some of the pieces we warped based in how it was packed (in ours the bedroom floor is slanted instead of flat).

4. Our daughter is already frustrated with the ONE SONG that plays for the dance floor sometimes you can hit another button to make it stop, but most of time it doesn't and you have to wait for it to finish. It got old to her (and me) very quickly.

5. My nostalgia and daughter's excitement totally enticed me to buy this, but really, they could have done a MUCH better job with what they gave some the princesses to say and sing. Snow White sounds beyond antiquated and sings, "I'm waiting for my Prince..." -I'm not overly shielding my daughter from the whole princess thing (obviously, since I bought this), but THAT is the song you gave her to sing? Not something recognizable like Whistle While You Work or anything a bit less old-school? I will say that some of them (like Ariel and Rapunzel) are spot-on, but Snow White and Tiana in particular, are phoned-in stereotypes in terms of sayings/songs. It would have been pretty easy to put a bit more thought into a few of them to make them both true to the character and not parent eyebrow-raising.

My 20 month old daughter can not get enough of the Disney Princess Little People Palace! The music is just a bonus as she spends most of the time playing with the princesses and her other little people in all the rooms. This is an engaging toy and she loves it. She always enjoyed playing with her big sister's barbie house and now she has one just for her!

I've been a fan of Little People for years ever since my little brothers played with them as children. They are durable and come with a ton of cool pieces and people to play with. If your child isn't old enough for Legos, this is one of the best toys for them in my opinion.

This castle far exceeded my expectations. First: it's huge. Well over a foot tall and a couple feet wide, little children will love the size. It allows for easy access to all the rooms inside.

Second: the Little Princesses are super cute as you would expect with Little People, but the choices of princesses is right on in my opinion. There are few more universally by little girls loved than Snow White and Cinderella. (You'll be able to get the other princesses, like Belle, Ariel, Aurora, Rapunzel and Tiana and even boys like Beast and Charming with other sets.)

Finally: the castle plays music and phrases from the Disney movies that matches the doll your are playing with. So if you set Cinderella on the right place (dance floor) it speaks specific phrases about her, like "I lost my glass slipper". You still get all the expected sounds from a Little People playset (like the tea pot or door chimes) but the customization is a wow factor for little kids.

All four of my kids, aged 2-13, and even the two boys wanted to play with this set. It is a great toy and I highly recommend it to fans of Little People and Disney.

The Deglingos Baby Blankie

This is a great little "blanket" for our son. He loves to chew on the ears...and likes to feel the different textures.

I love the coloring so if he spits up on it, it doesn't stand out horribly! : )

It has made it through the wash many times with no issues--very durable.

Bought this little sheep for our baby daughter for Christmas. She was five months old at the time, and even then found it an interesting cuddly. She loves looking at it and holding it and even gnawing on him on occasion. The sheep has different textures and is soft. And in appearance, he is a little bit unique from your usual stuffed toy. They have many other animals in this line, and I would definitely buy another one.

I love the Deglingos toys! This "blankie" is more like a lovey or minky...just something for a small baby to cuddle with, which is why I bought it. I love the different off-the-wall patterns. I'm thinking of purchasing a pair of the kicks, just for fun, and maybe another one of these loveys to keep around as a spare. I think the price is a tad steep for this particular product, but I guess they're from the UK...maybe. I didn't do too much research on it. All in all, I really do like the "blankie". It's super cute, and I'll probably purchase another one in a different character.

Very adorable, unique, and softer than you could imagine. Perfect baby gift! Only Issue: The term "blankie" is deceiving, as it is small, and looks more like a deflated stuffed animal, not "blankie" size. Highly recommend this purchase.

I bought this because I needed to come up with something to give my 10 month old son for Christmas and his room had an ocean theme. Also, my daughter has the full-size Deglingos cat and he's pretty dang cute. The product is well-made, colorful, and full of different textures for baby to explore, but my son just wasn't interested. That doesn't mean it's not totally adorable, it's just one of those things that your kid either loves or it doesn't.
