Nuby Icy Bite Teether (Ages 3M+)

My daughter actually quite likes this teether, and it seems to sooth her for a while when her gums are playing up. She's 4 1/2months old and the packaging says for 4months+, we were given this as a gift, not bough from Amazon.

I was watching her chew on it for a while, and she was really going for it, quite content and then I noticed the blood dripping form her lip. She was chewing on the ring, not the keys, where the Nuby logo is, the lettering is slightly raised, and apparently sharp, as it has cut her gum. She's now sore and crying and getting blood all over everything. Her teeth have not yet come through, so it's not from her own tooth, it really was the ring. I'm writing a stern letter to Nuby, as this is not acceptable.

I don't like the hard plastic logo which can be abrasive to gums. The hard plastic key bases aren't good either. The frozen gel doesn't seem to remain cooler longer than the water-based ones. At least the keys can reach the molars. It's BPA and latex free, but they use a variety of different chemical elastomers for the ring and for the sides of the key bases.

This was one of my son's favorite toys. And it did a great job of relieving his teething tension. Then one day I noticed that his teeth were scratching off the white paint on the red logo at the center of the main ring. Sine then, we have retired the toy since I do not want him eating the paint. It's too bad it was not constructed better since he loved it so much.

If there was an option for zero stars, that is what I would've rated this product. After letting my 6 month old use this product as intended (for teething!) for less than one hour, I noticed the white paint around the "Nuby" logo was actually chipping off!! I will not purchase Nuby products again and hope this product is recalled soon. Babys should not be eating paint!!

These are just okay. I figured since they were called "icy bite" that you would be able to freeze them, but according to the product instructions you are only supposed to cool them in the refrigerator. Doing that doesn't seem to get them very cold. My son plays and chews on them occasionally, but doesn't seem enamored with them. He definitely prefers his Nuby Softeez teethers as far as the texture goes. If these can't be frozen they're basically just keys and there are cheaper and better ones out there.

Radio Flyer Comfort Embrace Wagon

We wanted to get a radio flyer for my now 3 year old for a while, and when our newest son was born, we found this! It is so awesome. Assembly was a bit more difficult than it needed to be, reallybut once it was done, it was great. Both my boys weren't happy in the double stroller we had, so we started just using this anytime we went out instead. We usually don't spend too much time out and my older son didn't sleep in the stroller anymore anyway, and this allows for the baby to sleep and the canopies are a HUGE plus for us, as the double stroller we had been using didn't allow for adjustment, so the sun still would hit the boys in the face at times. This is great for our walks and the zoo. It seems pretty durablethe cup holders are pretty cheaply made, but that's not affecting the safety.

pros: easy to assemble, looks good, etc.

cons: very bumpy ride, front wheels wobble quite a bit, smaller than i though when i saw the picture

The wagon is okay, however the extra price seems exorbitant for the additional baby seat. Plus you lose the cushions on the ultimate comfort wagon. Think carefully before you make this purchase. Before I bought it I thought it came with cushions for both seats AND a baby seat. If my husband hadn't already put it together I would return it and get the ultimate comfort wagon instead. For the extra price they are asking for they should also throw in two toddler cushions for the hard plastic seats. I do like the added features of the breaks, but I feel all the wagons should have this safety feature.

I have two nephews. One is 5yo, the other is 8mo. While the 5yo got lots of Easter candy, I hate to leave the babies out. So what do you get a baby for Easter? Their very own little "Lamb of God". In blue and cream this is softly masculine, perfect for a little boy. The bow is a ribbon (blue stripped) that goes all the way around the lamb and is securely attached (well sewed on). The ears underside is also blue stripped. The style as a whole strikes me as somewhat victorian and very lovely!

This toy was tugged one, pulled at, and chewed for the last two weeks and no fur has come out, nor threads have loosened. It seems very durable to me!

Everyone always comments to me about how cute and soft "Baby Blue" is. That is his name, since I have another lamb, similar to it, called Blueberry, or "Blue". :) Very nice. Good for small children, because it is so soft.

Toddler Softscape - Tunnel Climb-On

This set is really sized for babies...crawlers and early walkers. The forms are durable and easy to cleans but too light in weight. Unlike the forms at Gymboree or Playorena, they're light enough for young children to move and pick up. I don't know why forms like this are so expensive, but I wish I'd saved my money and gotten the more expensive one designed for larger toddlers.

Purchased for my 3 month old daughter. I agree with the reviewer who stated that it was difficult to get the child in/out of the costume. Not well thought out! My problem is with the fit. It's HUGE on my daughter. This was labeled "newborn/0-6 months" but would easily fit a kid twice her size.. It swallows her up! In looking at the tag from the manufacturer, it's obviously been clipped at the bottom to remove sizing info. Very cute costume, too bad the company deliberately sent an incorrectly sized item. Buyer beware! ETA: my father-in-law purchased a rabbit costume from the same company for 0-6 and it's MUCH smaller (probably a little too small, it wouldn't fasten around her bottom) with a tag intact.

I love this costume, but I'm super frustrated and disappointed because the entire bottom half of the costume is sewn on sideways. The legs are sewn on front-to-back, instead of side-by-side. So, when she puts it on, the waist has to twist for her legs to fit in it. Fortunately, we can still make it work because I'm afraid we don't have enough time to send it back and get a new one, but I wish we did have time. SO disappointed :(

I loved this costume and we received many compliments on it as well. It is quite unique; we didn't run into any other Octopus' along the way. The only things I would change, if I could would be the material to be a little more stretchy and soft and also to have it open a different way than only on the arms up top. Labeling this item as a Blanket Puppet friend is a dupe, and should be classified as false advertisement, especially with the very misleading dimensions provided. Wouldn't not recommend due to the price at all.

This is a fun and bright toy that has great suction! I have had this toy for about 2 months (my son is 6 months now) and he has enjoyed this toy since we got it. He finds new aspects to the toy every week. At first, he liked that if he hit it, it would spin. Then the next week he noticed the rings on the bottom, and the next week he noticed the small spinning boxes on the inside. It seems to excite him when he gets in his high chair! Best part is that is has great suction!

Toys can be so dependent on your child's preference so reading reviews that say 'my child loves this' always makes me wonder. However what I think is fantastic about this toy is that it is a wheel and makes a soft swooshing noise when it turns so it really grabs my childs attention and she loves it. It generally always sticks too, however if its having trouble I put a drop of water on the bottom and then attach it and it will stick. Places that she really enjoys playing with it is at her highchair and on the floor. It was also brilliant when we went on a holiday the other weekend and we stuck it to the restaurant table where she had her highchair and she enjoyed it for ages!

Mary Meyer TAGGIES Chime Elephant

The taggies elephant toy was very much like it was described. I was looking for something similiar to those old time Apple CHime toys, and this worked rather well. It chimes when moved around, and has a weight to help keep it upright no matter what. The elephant itself is soft all over, and the little tags are great. My daughter has a thing for tags on her toys!

Now, the downside. This toy is small. Like.. suprisingly small. I took a pic of my now 8 month old daughter and the toy for comparison. It's not so small that I wouldn't have bought it at all if I had known, but maybe I would have looked around a little more, or at very least, been less surpised when I got it had I known.

Overall, a wonderful little toy, however. :)

Giggles Computer Funtime for Baby

My daughter is little over three years old and I had bought this software about a year ago directly from the founder of Giggles, since he lives in the Rochester, NY area. At first I was worried that the software is for babies and my toddler may not be interested. Not so! She loves the program even more now. Her knowledge of shapes and use of computers impresses even her teachers at the day-care.

I know for a fact that much research and hard-work had gone into the development of this software and it shows mightily; especially when compared to other products of similar genre.

I can't wait for the new products Giggles Software is developing.

I purchased both Giggles Shapes and Giggles Animals for my 5 month old boy after I noticed I could not get on my home computer or my laptop with him wanting to hit the keys.

This program is very entertaining and teaches babies cause and effect, and has a good music selection that my baby likes.

I would highly recommend this program to any parent that has a child from 3 months to 2yrs.

My 9 year old boy even enjoys playing with these programs!

This program is lots of fun for a baby. It runs a little slowly on our 700 MHz G4 eMac, but our baby loves it. The only critique, though, is that it won't run on a limited account in OS X. The companion game, 123 & ABCs will let me set up the baby's account to allow me to add it to her account's limits list, but the Animal Friends does not. As a result, either I cannot run it on her account, or I have to allow administrator privileges to her account. I cannot do that since her sister also uses the computer.

My sister gave these cards to us when my daughter was first born. I started to show the cards to her around 11 months (yes they are flimsy) and ended up going to Kinko's and laminating them since she liked to bend them. I have worked with her almost every day on them and she now can recognize and say most of the colors and shapes at 18 months! She loves to pull out her bag and do flashcards together while at home or away. We also have the ABCs cards and she has learned those as well. My husband's parents recently bought this for our 11mo. & 23mo. old daughters. They love this toy! There are so many activities that it keeps them entertained for a long time. We also bought magnetic letters to go on the magnetic side of the box. I like that there is space inside to either flip the top maze into or store some toys to keep your livingroom more organized. I suggest covering the corners though with some sort of foam. My youngest did get a little knot on her head from it. Overall, I hate the price but love the toy!

We got this toy for our 16 month old daughter for Chanukah. She loves it and plays with it non-stop when we are home. However she fell the other day and cut her eyebrow on the corners. They should be rounded, which they are not. We will put something on the corners so that she will not get hurt again. Other than that point this product is great and teaches them many different things.

We got this for our 12 month old son and while there are some things that are a bit annoying, such as the fact that you can take the roller coaster top off and my son has pinched his fingers in it. However, I think it's a bit of a learning process and you can also easily leave the top off and play with that part on the floor. He likes to move that around as well as the entire cube. So far, I really like this product and so does my son.

i agree with the earlier comnment about the top piece not being bolted down, but i dont't think it could cause death or serious injury. my daughter is 18mo and she walks with the top piece and uses it for a single toy and after finishing she returns it to the unit so i think that's a plus. she is unable to carry or push the entire unit. she loves it and i enjoy seeing her have fun with it

My little ones all seem to love bath toys and these were their favorites. The one problem, they all got moldy. At first, I threw out toy after toy, and then one day, I started cleaning them with a simple bleach solution. I just filled my sink with ater, pured a small about (about 1/4 of a cup or so your bleach will usually have a recommendation on the back of the bleach) in and "cleaned" the toys by filling them about halfway and shaking the solution around. It kills the mold and cleans the toys. Just make sure to rinse them thoroughly inside and out after you are finished with the bleach. It takes a litte while, but the bleach not only removes mold, but usually prevents it at least for a littel while.

I am happy to say that I stopped throwing out these littls and I still have my "bath squirters". The kids just love to play with them in the tub, aim them at the shower wall and when we are doing a bubble bath, they "knock out" the bubbles. Cute, durable and fun. Can't beat it.

Tolo Toys First Friends Postman and Puppy

Purchased this for my daughter. We LOVE tolo toys. They seem to be sturdy, long lasting and safe. Not in this particular case!!!

We had this postman figure a couple of days and the backpack fell off. The sharp metal screw that kept the backpack attached is now sticking out!! I cannot pull it out and I'm sure sure how to glue the backpack back on and ensure it wont fall off again. If it did my daughter could be very seriously injured by a sharp metal screw.

I should NOT have to glue this toy together to protect my daughter.

Very disappointed. I thought these Tolo figures were ultra safe.

Wonderworld Wheely Giraffe Toy

My ten month old son loves his wheely giraffe. It withstands all of his bashing. The paint has not chipped after several months of use. The cloth ears got dirty because my son likes to chew the toy more than wheel it.

I am very pleased with this toy. My son loves playing with it. It is one of his favorites. A great alternative to cars.

When it arrived the wood on the bottom of an 'axel' had rough splinters and needed to be sanded. It is now fine.

This is really great. I use this now to entertain my baby during tummy time and I am sure she will love it when she gets older and can manipulate it herself.

We bought these for our son when he was about 7 months old, and he just loves them. We got the brown puppy to go with the puppy theme of his nursery. He got attached very quickly! His face lights up whenever he sees his puppy blankie at naps and bedtime, and I think it is a great sleep aid. They wash very well -can go through washer/dryer with no visible wear. Also, the little animal head is small enough that it won't wake him up if he rolls over on it (unlike some other blankies I've seen, with large/bulky stuffed animals sewn on). There are so many blue flowers in this package. I can not see the owls unless I shake/squish/twist/turn/pinch the bag. There are 2 owls and at the very least... 50 blue flowers.

This confetti was not as implied by the photo. 99% of the pieces were blue flowers. There were exactly 2 orange/pink flowers and 2 owl pairs in the entire bag. The owls don't even look like they belong when you spread out the confetti and see all the blue flowers. I was extremely disappointed since I bought this for an owl-themed party.

Sassy Developmental Bath Toy, Squirt and Squeak Blocks

My son loves playing with his blocks, and I thought blocks in the bathtub would be a fantastic idea. I purchased these online, and opened them up when they got here. They were not nearly as soft as squeezable as I'd expect them to be. We have another version of plastic blocks from Target, and those are just fantastic soft plastic, easily chewable and squeakable these are definitely NOT them. He likes them ok, but they don't stay in the bath tub, since he can't squeeze them, or make them suck up water very well.

All in all, good block toy. Not a fantastic squirt or squeak toy.

LOVE these blocks. My baby's favorite for chewing during teething. Bright colors. Each block has different textures, letters, and shapes. Great learning tool. Squeak is not loud and not annoying (yet). Comes with a little mesh plastic storage bag so they can be thrown neatly into a travel/diaper bag. Highly recommended

The blocks are really well made and they are good distraction for baby in the bath. Like the other review says they are not big squirt toys.

My son loved to play with them from the beginning (4-5 months) and still play with them now (1 year and a half).

The colors are bright, they have letters and pictures of other toys on them (for example a drum).

I just realized that one block got a bit of mold, so they need a good wash with bathroom cleaner. I would recommend to wash them with detergent periodically.
