My only disappointment is that only one of the "cards" is crinkly, I expected all 5 to be. My 7 month old still loves it but the crinkly part is the favorite. If all 5 cards were crinkly it would rate 5 stars.

Wish I had read the other reviews that said only one flash card is "crinkly." Also not very helpful because it's only numbers 1-5. I'd like my baby to count to ten...

My 2 1/2 year old loved his costume! It's warm and durable. Very soft and cuddly. On occasion he refused to leave the house without putting it on. I definitely recommend this costume. The only drawback was the red pieces of fuzz that appeared on my light colored carpet. This costume is fitted enough that aside from form fitting pajamas (top and bottom), you don't really need to wear anything underneath.

Sassy 602 - Teething Wing Butterfly

My son started teething early (3 months) and he was not yet able to control his movements enough to chew on teething objects. He was however able to grab things and this butterfly was so easy for him to pick up. The one wing is like a handle and it easy for him to move and light enough for him to get to his mouth. As the days go by he is finally able to chew on it for a few seconds before he loses the control. He is still unable or uninterested in doing this with any other teething toy. Plus he somehow finds the butterfly entertaining. A+ for a young teether.

Baby couldn't hold this until she was bigger and her grip improved. Once she could hold it, she loved it. She gnaws on both sides regardless. She likes the colors and shape also. The color does come off though, which isn't so good.

I bought two of these because the twins were just starting to get first teeth. We put them in the refrigerator, and then gave them to the babies (two identical girls, by the way, and the cutest ever). They LOVED them! They chewed away for hours. Balls (2) received without battery protectors and barely worked for 15 minutes. I ordered new items; however I believe I received used ones. Baby's First Laptop Computer Playset

I got this for my (11 months old at the time) daughter for Christmas. It is great for a small baby. Mine wasn't very durable, though. She really didn't play with it that much and the star easily came off. The star also came off of the little earth pouch. The rocket makes a cool rocket sound but it stopped working soon after it was opened. Other than these few complaints it is a cute toy and I think good for a first play laptop for babies. I also paid much less than the current almost $20 listed price. I wouldn't pay $20 for it, and after the problems really the $12 I paid for it wasn't really worth it. But, maybe it was just a flaw with mine. Still a neat toy.

Not that great of product. Flimsy and not very entertaining. Makes cool sounds, but one broke after only a few weeks of use. Doesn't come close at all to adult laptop for child to even think it was like her parent's. Not worth the price. Should be about $10 cheaper.

I like these because the pictures are big and colorful to grab a young toddler's or preschooler's attention! I practice my own version (much cheaper and easier) of" my baby can read" program. It's a basic concept. You show them the cards (try only 4 at a time for younger kids) and mention the name then repeat over and over again while they play on and off a little every couple of hours. Then after a few times say "where is the ____?" and see if they point to it. If they don't help them point to it and say the word. Within a few days they will learn those words. At first yes its memorization like with everything else they learn. Then if you bring those words into context like pointing and saying the word of it in books, the kitchen, store ect. Its learning and fun.

Lil Character Infant Skunk Costume

This suit was very well made. It was nice and warm for my 18 mon old. he looked so cute.I was disappointed that there wasnt a stripe going down his back and the ears are a lil too big. a few people thought he was a lamb or kitty cat and i think if there was a stripe, it would have been more obvious he was a skunk. All in all, still very cute and confortable for my lil guy.

I guess this is what you expect from a children's costume. Cheap material. The feet would not stay on. He looked cute but he only wore it for about 20 minutes.

I ordered this costume for my 1-year-old daughter. She usually wears 12 month clothes or bigger. However, the 6-12 month size works perfectly. It is easy to put on and has easy access for diaper changes. The most convenient part is that the feet are not connected to the rest of the costume and are big enough to wear over shoes. Surprised at the other reviews regarding the suction cups & especially the one that says the monkey & music only work for 3 seconds. (That is ONLY true if you don't have the remote and only use the buttons on the side of the product. But if you have the remote you can control how long it is on and it's really nice to have the remote control since who wants to have to stop to turn it on)?

After using this for my 1st baby for close to a year, I found this product to be a savior when baby was fussy in the car. Generally I would keep it off unless he became fussy then the remote comes in handy to just click the button turn it on and instantly baby would have a nice distraction to entertain him & help him calm down until I could pull over to tend to whatever was making him fussy. It plays a few different tunes to keep baby interested too.

Also the way to keep the suction to hold is to first clean your windows (with windex or even better an alcohol wipe pad) then put a little just a couple drops of moisture on the suction cup itself before pressing it very firmly to the window and then moving the lever down to suction it. Yes it may come loose again eventually from opening & closing the door but I was able to get it to stay on for at least a month or so at a time typically.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that you do have to have the remote to make the thing stay on for more than 3 seconds. We lost our remote after about a year, and it eventually prompted me to just replace with regular shades I already had instead since there was no longer any music to distract/entertain baby when getting fussy. And he was getting big enough to almost reach the monkey & I was afraid he might pull it down.

I also agree with the review that it isn't the BEST shade out there for sun protection though I do think it provides a good amount. The shade is not huge but that actually worked better for me since we drove a smallish car (4 door sedan) not a big SUV for baby #1. But for baby #2 I'm actually planning on buying this product again to use in addition to the regular shades we already have which will provide a little better sun protection for the bigger windows we now have with our SUV. Not sure how I will hang both shades up at once yet but I think I can make it work.

Safety 1st Sound 'n Lights Activity Walker

We had this given to us as a gift for our first child. It clearly is a $40 walker. No major thrills with this ever the one. It states 5 toys are very very basic and not really appealing. It also talks about lights which is only one little red light that lights up when it plays its one song. The horn doesn't beep and other button is noiseless. I would suggest going for a more expensive walker in the $60-$80 range. The wheels are also cheaply constructed.

It is a nice walker, but my 6 month old is big for his age and can't even touch the floor on the lowest setting. Not much use for us. By the time he is big enough to use the walker, he will already b walking on his own!

My grandbaby is slightly physically impaired and the seat on this is built weird with a deep sling seat and leg holes towards the front which makes it more like a chair then a walker. It needs to have a seat in it more like in her bouncer that she totally loves. Also the toys are really cheap and boring as well as once the battery runs down on the toy that's it for you. No changing the battery.

After some slight modification, this walker works great. We ordered this for our 6 month old son, and like others had stated it was a bit tall for him out of the box. Being the tinkering type, I looked at the adjustment section, disassembled it and started carving with my trusty utility knife. After a few tweaks, I had a new lower height setting that worked perfectly. It would be nice if they added more adjustments at the factory as there is plenty of room for more steps, yielding more adjustment. My son is now pushing himself backwards with ease and it looks like he may be going forwards soon! This walker is light weight, and collapses into a fairly small profile for storage. It also rolls well on our hardwood floors (I haven't tested it on carpet). The midi music is absolutely awful and really loud, so I leave it switched off at all times, but my son hasn't noticed.

I bought this toy for my girl friend. I am 30 and she is 28 and we talk about how we are eachothers lobsters because lobsters find a mate for life. She is in the military and is currently deployed. I wanted to get her a toy big enough for her to cuddle with at night and think of me. This worked out perfectly. it is just a little smaller then a standard pillow and VERY soft and fuzzy. Gund Scotty Black Scottie Dog 8" Plush

My son (5 months) LOVES LOVES LOVES this teether. It is the only one he holds onto and chews for any length of time. When I saw it I thought it would be perfect because he loves to stick my (anyones really) fingers in his mouth and chew... so I thought I would give it a go and I am so glad I did. I really like that it has a case to keep it clean when we are out and about. And it is an added bonus that it is bpa free.

It's softer than the water-filled kind, but not as soft as a sophie or thin rubber chew toy. mostly she likes the shape, which allows her to jam it into her mouth at all angles. Mega Bloks Lil' Dump Truck

I got this for my son when he was about 18 months old. He has a large collection of the giant mega bloks, so this was a nice addition. It comes with just enough to get a toddler started on stacking them if you don't already own more. My son prefers trucks that have a removable person in them, which this does. It's small and lightweight enough to take to the park or beach but big enough for younger kids to do some serious sand moving. And though it's lightweight and inexpensive, it seems sturdy and well-made-not like a Tonka steel truck, but much more solid than those flimsy sand-toy trucks at the drugstore. An all-around hit for kids 1-3, and a great bargain.

Though we don't use the blocks that came with it, my son absolutely loves this little dumper. He received it when he turned one and he's now two and still plays with it regularly. It's very lightweight and just the right size for a little man to maneuver around. It's also extremely durable plastic, and thankfully it washes up easily for indoor and outdoor play. Nice price, too!

My one year old was getting kind of bored with his "baby" toys. I bought him this dump truck and he plays with it almost exclusively. He loves to put things in the back and then dump them out over and over. He likes to push the truck around, and he is very curious about how to put the blocks together and tries to stack them (althoug it will be a bit before he can master this). Small World Toys Puzzibilities Piece By Piece Learning L2 Transportation

I went on a puzzle shopping spree-researching all the age appropriate puzzles for my 14 month old. I purchased 6 puzzles during this time and I have to say this is the BEST quality! I wish I could use animated text or an emoticon that's jumping around! I was not expecting this quality-the detail of the pictures, the quality of the printing method, the quality of the wood and the quality of the jigsaw cutting. Melissa & Doug didn't even have this quality AT ALL! THAT puzzle even has shards of wood sticking out I'm afraid of my son getting splinters! I am positive this puzzle will out last all the rest. The other puzzles are already showing wear on the pictures at the edges of the pieces-it's only been a few months! Also, the peices are thick enough that my son can stand them up-multi use toy :) I love it :)

Quality seems good. Transportation theme is fun...like all the different vehicles portrayed. My two year old really enjoys this puzzle.

Its a well built puzzle. Its easy for my 1 year old to pluck up the pieces using the red knobs. Its a little more challenging for him to fit the pieces in precisely, though.

I think it would be neater if the picture under the puzzle piece were slightly different, or if the puzzle over all was a large picture instead of just several modes of transportation that are not in scale with each other.

Shining Stars Owl

My daughter was very upset when we got the last Harry Potter book and she couldn't buy an owl. The store was sold out and she was upset about it for a long time. One day we saw this owl and she fell in love. She saved up her money and bought it and is in total love. Hedwig goes everywhere with her. The animal is soft and the "fur" is very soft. She loves the website and getting her own star. We've since bought the pig and for Christmas she's asked for the unicorn.

As for educational, I'd say these take the cake. My daughter has been reading all the books she can on Snow owls so she can care for her owl "properly". She's looking up in the sky at night to her star, and loves the mythical story about the constellation it's in. The teaching aspect isn't tied to her sitting in front of a computer she can go out and learn and live life with her toy right beside her.

My niece loved this. She is sharing with friends and interacting with others. I'm glad I got this.
