Toddler Magician Costume

Paper Magic Group Magician-1 Boy's Costume, 2Tthe price is right for product, the costume is made very cheap but serves its purpose for a few uses.

You defiantly get what you pay for. I bought this for my nephew who loves to dress up in costums daily. He loves it, but it's cheaply made & will not last long if he plays with it a lot.

The Invisible Man Monster Shredder Toy

The Invisible Man Monster Shredder ToyMy grandson is really into skateboarding and monsters, so he was super excited about this little toy. It is very sturdy and I have no doubt it will survive not only this 6 yr old little boy, but many more. I am really surprised by the "tricks" and stunts he can do with this toy using his fingers. If fun is not enough reason to buy a toy, then realize that every child needs to practice dexterity!

Woodours Daddy and Baby Bear Interactive Playset

Woodours Daddy and Baby Bear Interactive PlaysetMy little one is now 15 months old and loves her Woodours Papa bear and baby bear. As a native French speaker, I wanted my daughter to have a toy that reminded me of so many of my childhood toys from Europe. This toy fits the bill. She loves the flower and the fact that she can flip it to different sides to get a different look. The fishing pole is adorable and she often pulls it out and plays with the small swinging felt fish. The retracting fish in the green sack is always a surprise for her as it slithers back into the sack and she smiles as it moves and disappears. She spends lots of time shaking the baby bear and listening to it rattle and the squeaky papa bear nose, though hard for her to squeak, makes both my daughter and dog smile (and wag their tail). As others have said, this is a well made toy with lots of fun options. Many times I find the baby bear being hugged and wrapped around my daughters arm by her. She was given this from her papa for her 1st birthday and though I know that younger kids can play with it, it wasn't until she was about 13 to 14 months old that she actually was drawn to the bear and could play with all of the parts and pieces. She seems to enjoy hugging this bear and playing it with more then most of her other toys at this stage. Maybe it's because she relates to the papa/baby combo like she and her papa have, or maybe she just loves all of the cute textures, colors and options. I would recommend this as a long term investment and a toy that won't fall apart and will be cherished for years to come!

I was pleased with the quality of the bears. They clean up well and are a great option for a little boy. He enjoys the vibrating fish. The fishing pole and flower are easily lost, so just make sure to keep an eye on them if taking the bear out of the house.

My husband and I bought this bear for our son's first Christmas. It's now been a few months since we got it, so here are some of my impressions.

First of all, this is not a daddy bear. Oh, I know, it looks like a daddy bear. I thought it was a daddy bear. We wanted it to be a daddy bear. But on Christmas morning, when my four-year-old and two-year-old watched their baby brother open his present, they immediately said, "Aw, it's a mommy bear!" I tried to persuade them otherwise, but I was wrong. Know why? Because the tummy opens. And the baby bear fits inside. There is no picture showing that on the site here and so I totally didn't think of the correlation when I initially looked at it. But yeah. Kids know that daddies can't have babies in their abdomens. Only mommies do that. That makes this bear a mommy bear.

Second, if you're looking for a cuddly, tuck-under-the-arm-and-take-everywhere bear, this isn't it. In retrospect, I sort of wish we'd gotten just a plain old plush bear. Yes, this is super cute and well-made, and there are no choking hazards (like the noses on some bears). The fur is a neat sort of wooly texture. BUT it's not soft and plushy like the kinds of bears that kids usually gravitate toward actually cuddling with. Meaning, the fur isn't soft, but the body isn't really squishy either. It's also kind of awkward to hold, because the bear's bottom is so disproportionately big. More on that next.

Third, you know how the grown-up bear is sitting in the picture? As if it can sit up by itself? Well, it can't do that. Picture this scenario. You are on the floor with your baby, and you want him to like his new Christmas present. He spies the bear leaning against the couch and smiles. So you walk it slowly over, bobbing the head coyly. Baby loves it. Then you think you will set the bear down in front of the baby... only, you can't. The bear can't sit. You can hold him up so he is standing, or you can lay him down... awkwardly, because of the big bum issue... but he can't sit, because he's just not built that way. If you try to sit him by himself, he will just flop over. So you kind of hold him up and the baby plays with him until your arm gets tired and you have to lay the bear down awkwardly... which causes the baby to lose interest, because the bear just looks so awkward laying down like that.

Fourth... and these are not the most important points, but I'm going to mention them anyway... I think I'm just not that into the extra features after all. The fishing pole and flower stick in to the paws, and that is rather neat, but they don't really hold anyone's attention for long. None of us... my preschool aged kids included... are very interested in the opening belly feature. The baby bear fits in there, but it's tight. I guess I just think that the "toy" aspect of this bear is not really all that enticing. The baby bear does hold onto things, but not onto very big things, and this point our son just doesn't think much of it. He does like the big grown-up bear (you can pretend it's a daddy bear if you'd like, but my kids know better) but can't pick it up.

Fifth, is your little one going to sleep with this bear? If so, you'll need to take off/out all the extra things (including the baby bear) because they all crinkle, and the baby bear rattles. And there is nothing like a crinkly sound that accidentally wakes up baby during naptime to make everybody sad! I had thought to just let the baby bear stay in bed with my little one, but the rattle makes that impossible. I have left the big bear near him during naptime a few times, though, and he has been very gleeful to find it near him, so it may be that he will enjoy snuggling with it more as he grows.

Overall, you'll notice that I still gave this four stars, because I do think it's an adorable bear and very well-made, and my son likes it, even if he's not quite sure what to do with it. I think in retrospect, we likely would have just gotten a simple, nicely made, no-choking-hazards plush bear, because what we really wanted was a safe, soft bear that would be a buddy to sleep with kind of bear, not so much an activity center. And I think trying to achieve both made us succeed in achieving neither. Granted, our son is only eleven months old now, so he may play with it more later on, but I wanted to leave my current perspective here for other parents who may be considering getting this for a baby. It's definitely a cute bear, and it's great that it is so safe, but you may want to consider whether you really want a bear with the extra features like this or if you just want a traditional, soft, plush, snuggly teddy bear without the bells and whistles (or in this case, the crinkly sounds and unique fabrics).

I absolutely love this toy! my now 3-months-old daughter is too little to play with it (the daddy bear is almost as tall as she is) but a friend's baby aged six months really liked it when they came to visit. even if it never becomes one of her favourite toys (which I doubt) it will make a great nursery decoration. very very well made, everything as shown in the video description. the only cons not a good toy for teething/sticking-everything-in-the-mouth period, just like any other fluffy toy. but otherwise worth the money.

I purchased this Daddy and Baby Bear for my husband as a gift before our baby comes. He thought it was one of the greatest things ever. The little activities are perfect. Yes, the baby bear can sit inside the stomach, BUT he can also wrap around neck with velcro hands or sit alone. The fishing pole and knapsack are SO cute! This is the perfect little set and paired with the book, a perfect gift. I also love the Daddy Bear's tummy pattern my husband works in the forestry industry and the log pattern was a perfect compliment.

Winnie The Pooh Night Buddies

Winnie The Pooh Night BuddiesI love this Winnie The Pooh Night Buddies. Comes with remote control and you can set between 5, 10, or 15 Minutes Song. One of the best Toys from Fisher Price. Highly recommended.

I got this for my 2yr old son and thought it might be a little 'too babyish' for him....but he loves it. We put it in his crib last night and I rocked him while the music played softly in the background for about 10 mins and he was fast asleep. When I went to get him out of the crib this morning he was holding the toy and had to get it out too...he's been carrying it around and playing with the remote too. I really wish I would have had this when my boys were babies....very neat little lullaby toy. The remote works great and you can adjust the volume (which many toys don't allow). I got it for $9.99...probably wouldn't pay much over that.

I bought this toy for my 3 mo old daughter for Christmas 2007. She loved it. It was such a cute toy and really aided in her sleeping by herself as she got older. It was fun to peek in on her reaching her finger to make the toy play music or nature sounds. A couple of years later and her little brother came along and he also loved it. They had a hard time sharing, but it would go in his crib when he went to sleep and then when she went down a half hour later with her. Fast forward another couple of years and they both still love it. I tend my baby niece (8 mo) who also loves it. Came on the internet to see if I could find it for a Christmas present for her, but see it isn't available any more. So sad as my husband just commented to me it was probably the one baby item we purchased that we truly got more value out of it than we paid. It is a great toy.

HABA Pixie's World Pram Decoration

HABA Pixie's World Pram DecorationOnly 2 of the pieces on the cord are attached (the car & clover). The others (middle ones) are loose so that when you tie it, they all fall to the middle. You'd think they would come attached so that there is some spacing in between each one (that is how they are shown in the pictures, not all piled up together). It didn't bother me enough to return it but I did tie some knots so that the bead pieces wouldn't all fall to the middle the problem with that is that its almost impossible to put knots it front of the trees & I couldn't get them tied ... so after an hour of fixing this toy I gave up. I'll have to look for some non-toxic type glue gun to put a dab of glue on the two trees. It's very cute just could have been crafed better.

I love this pram chain and so does my 3 month old. I have it tied to his Perego infant carseat. The paint is safe for baby chewing and the colors are fun but not jarring. Adults compliment it everywhere we go. Maybe you don't see them that often. My friends loved mine and all went out to buy their own ;)Pleasant little bell sound that's found on many Haba toys. This would make a unique baby gift.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Phone

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning PhoneWhen my baby recieved this toy it was loud in the box. Then good old mom tried to get it out of the box so he could play with it. In the process, I dropped the toy approximately 5 times accidentally. So I think it turned out to be pretty durable.

When I pulled the demo tab out of the back, the toy's volume lowered exactly 60 decibles. This is supposed to happen. It is an FCC ruling the it not be loud so that the toy doesn't blast your child's ears out when they immitate you talking on the phone. This may be annoying to some parents, but it's to protect your child's hearing. When the tab is in the back of the toy, and it's still in the box, it is in "DEMO MODE". This is loud because toy departments in stores can be extremely loud and they want you to be able to hear the toy over parents who are screaming at their own screaming children. My house is not as loud as a toy store because my child doesn't run it, and the toy works fine.

The ABC tunes and Numbers are just what I want my child to see. They are very clear on the screen, and the large variety of sounds and light patterns are pretty neat. I think that it offers a great capability of clearly teaching children some basic building blocks of literacy, and would recommend this toy to anyone.

I purchased the phone because my daughter loves the laugh and learn house. She plays with it all the time. I had read the reviews before hand and couldn't understand why some people said the volume was bad. Now I know why. In the store it worked great. Once I took the tab off the sound dropped severly. Yes, I did change the batteries but that did not change anything. I am a mom of 3. If I had this for my first child when my house was quieter it probably would have been great. Three children does not make this toy great to play with amongst other people, very hard to understand. I have three other phones all with volume controls-I understand when I put it to my ear its okay but most children don't put it their ear.

This toy is a wonderfully educational and fun toy but it is so loud! There is no volume control and when I held it up to my own ear when I was playing with my daughter I was shocked and terrified by how loud this was. If it made my ear ring what was it doing to hers? The only way to remedy the problem of the noise was to remove the batteries which takes away from the appeal. I give it fives stars for it's fun, educational, and durable qualities but really want to caution parents about the decibel level that, with prolonged use, could do some permanent damage to a small child's hearing. I was suprised Fisher Price was not more aware of the problem and did not attempt to make it more safe and user friendly. I typically only buy Fisher Price toys because of the quality but would urge them to consider volume controls or limits on their toys. I know as a parent I should be more cognizant of the dangers of toys I purchase for my children but in my haste to find a teaching toy I overlooked the aspect of safety. I figured a one piece toy with no obvious design flaws, small parts, choking hazards, etc. would be perfect. This is how I learn as a parent and I hope my experience helps others out there who want their children to be healthy!

I bought this for my 1 year old for Christmas. We took it out of the box and pulled out the "demo" tag (this tag makes the toy louder for in the store) for safety reasons. Well, my 1 year old who was infatuated with this toy when he could hear it (read: in the box) tossed it to the side and left it there because he couldn't hear it. I couldn't hear it either. I was about to send the POS back when I got the idea to shove the demo tag bag in and clip the end of it off, then cram the remainder of the tag in as far as it will go so my son couldn't pull it out and choke on it. It works great, now and it's one of his favorite toys. So, thanks Fisher Price for making a toy that only works properly with a choking hazard inserted into it.

I bought this product (for my 16m.old) after reading the other reviews for this item, So I knew about the claims for the sound quality. After I took the phone out of the box, I Put the little demo tab back in to the slot and I taped it on so that it can't come out. The sound is excellent since I taped the tab in place. Other than that, It is a an excellent quality toy. Very educational, Showing the ABC's and saying the ABC's also the 123's, and other cute phrases.

Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Lovie Blankee

Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Lovie BlankeeTHis item is super soft, well made and accurate to the charcter, my son loves to hold it and "gnaw" on it when teething.

I just received this as a baby shower gift for my daughter (we are having a Dr Seuss theme). I think it's a wonderful toy. It's very soft and the organic cotton and dyes are very reassuring for me knowing she will be putting it in her mouth. It is very cute and adorable. Dandelion Crinkle Bat for BabiesIt's really hard to find anything that is organic AND black. I was looking for a toy that was somewhat non-mainstream...for a baby. I also wanted it to be organic. Good luck with that right? Well, yes. I found the bat and my daughter loves it, I love it too! She loves the crinkly toys, I love the fact that it's black, a bat, and organic. It's a win-win all-around situation.

Lamaze Dream Screen

Lamaze Dream ScreenOur seven-week-old loves this. First, the visuals are hypnotic (at least to her). She loves watching the display cycle through the four seasons and the effect seems to soothe her.

The volume on the built-in music that comes with this is on the loud side, I guess, but everything I've ever read has told me that babies are used to noise (womb noise is louder than a vacuum cleaner) so I never thought it would keep our little one from falling asleep and it hasn't.

Meanwhile, the MP3 feature is very cool, and I made a special mix on my iPod just for our baby to listen to as she falls asleep. When you use your own MP3 player or iPod, you can adjust the volume as high or low as you'd like it because the volume on your device controls the volume on the toy.

I think other parents (and babies) would enjoy this product.

I have a 2 year old who I thought this would be perfect for. She likes soothing things to help her go to sleep. But this is not soothing. It is so loud that she can't fall asleep to it and there is no way to lower the volume. I suppose if I hooked an mp3 player up to it that I could adjust the volume on the mp3 player itself, but haven't tried it yet.

She rarely uses it (just when she and her sister are playing house).

Oh and it makes a whirring and clicking sound as the scene moves. Real annoying.

The battery is a big bulky thing that connects to the screen through the bars and with any amount of tugging on the screen the battery falls right off onto the floor. The screen also shakes and doesnt run smoothly. Not at all the quality I was expecting.

My son absolutely loves this thing. I do have to say there is one down side to this. If you have a sleigh crib with the back that curves not the sides. You have to put this on the side where you let your bar up and down. Not only does it look tacky but it's not functional there. Also, sometimes you have to tap it a little hard to get it to turn on again (with new batteries). But my son loves to watch this so I would have to say all in all it's worth the money.

I purchased this for my 4 month old grandson for a 1300 mile drive he was making with our family. We were in the car for about 11 hours a day. My goal was to give him enough different items to look at while on the long drive to keep his interest and keep in from getting bored and therefore cranky. I was able to attach this to the headrest of the seat he was in with little problems. But, he got bored with it very quickly and maybe that is the goal to help a child go to sleep.

This product plays a couple of tunes over and over again and the "scene" changes from spring, summer, fall, and winter with a light show in the background. Basically, the scene is on a scroll.

It will hook up just fine to his crib from IKEA and I am sure he will get some enjoyment out of it. The product was made well and it is actually larger than I expected.

Lamaze Flutterfly the Butterfly

Lamaze Flutterfly the ButterflyIt's a proven fact that babies who are taught sign language from birth typically learn to communicate via sign before they speak. I love that this product has simple sign language pictures for baby to look at. They may not understand what the pictures mean, but when you (as a parent) use the signs in your day-to-day communications with the baby, they start to mimick you. My 3 month old has tried to sign "I Love You" back to me because I sign it to her all the time. I also sign "Mama" and "Dada" to her as well as "bottle" and "milk." I like that this product is educational as well as colorful and entertaining for baby. Then again, ALL Lamaze products are like that as we have many Lamaze products in our home!

My daughter loves this toy. The easy clip helps attach it to her Fisher-Price Rainforest play gym. She started out at six weeks just hitting it with her 'windmill' flailing arms and leg attack and seemed to enjoy the crinkle and crackle noises that it makes when it swings. Now at 10 weeks she even fingers the knotted parts thoughtfully and drags it closer to her mouth. The windmill attack however is still her favorite activity. At some point I'll start using the signs too. I think it makes for a great toy for both of us.

Melissa & Doug Deluxe First Bead Maze

Melissa & Doug Deluxe First Bead MazeI bought this toy originally thinking I would leave it at out-of-town grandma's. However, it was small enough that I decided to bring it home. It has suction cups on the bottom, which allow you to use it on a high chair or other place. My 8 month old likes to spin the pieces and is growing more interested in moving them around. Very well made. Would highly recommend. Only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is b/c it's a liked toy, but not a loved toy.

We got this toy for our 9 month old since he loves the bead mazes. It is small and portable, which is nice for traveling. The wood is smooth with no rough edges. The only minor inconvenience is that the suction cups don't work that well. Our 9 month old and 3 year old love this toy.

I have not bought this toy yet, but am interested in one of the other Melissa & Doug bead mazes. I called them because of the review referring to arsenic. They assured me there isn't any, and they have safety certificates. Just wanted to inform everyone.

I bought this for my 4 1/2 month old because she seemed to concentrate on part of her Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper, Blue that was a similar activity (moving the blue and yellow musical notes on the purple bar if you have it at home). The indications were for 1 year +, so I figured worst case scenario we would just put it away if she wasn't ready for it yet. Boy, am I glad we got the bead maze early! At 4 1/2 months, she would stick her tongue out while she focused on moving the beads. It took her a couple weeks before she could shift them from one side to the other, but she definitely hasn't mastered it yet (we've had it for 6 weeks) which makes me feel like this toy will maintain her interest for a while. The paint doesn't seem like it would chip, despite her scratching at it with her razor-like fingernails and the beads constantly banging against the wires. The colors are vibrant, and it's lightweight. It's the perfect size to attach to her Fisher-Price Healthy Care Deluxe Booster Seat Blue/Green/Gray before or after meals, or when she's joining us at the dinner table.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the suction cups... they are great 90% of the time, but it sometimes they don't stick where I want (the plastic tray of the booster) and I can't get it off of the surface where I don't want it (the dining table)! Not a big deal, and I don't think it can be improved, but it is noticeable. Would still recommend it and getting it earlier than later!

Addendum 2/19/12: Daughter is now 10 1/2 months old. We put the bead maze away a couple months ago because she started gnawing on the wooden beads, enough that the wood and paint were being compromised. I know it's non-toxic paint, but we took it away (just like we did her other wooden puzzles and books that she chews). I read an idea from a parenting magazine where a dad said he put suction-cupped toys on the window. We put this and 2 other toys with suction cups on a window in her play room now that she's standing and walking... she loves them! She stands at the window and moves the beads on this toy, then goes to the next toy like she's on an assembly line... and doesn't chew on it anymore, even though she still tries to eat her books. So glad I read this (and wished I had come up with it myself...) so had to share!

I got this for my son for Christmas and not even two days of him playing with it there were little tiny paint chips all over his high chair and hands! I was VERY upset, I know they say the paint is non-toxic but I still don't want my son ingesting paint chips! I really like the idea of having a bead maze on his high chair but not this one!! I would not buy again!!
