This giraffe is so soft and cuddly! He's soft on the skin and cuddly yet sturdy enough to stand on his own. I was very surprised when I received it in the mail because I didn't expect it to be as soft as it is. It's a pretty big animal, which is what I was looking for.

This "Lovey" blanket is indeed cute, but it seemed quite small when I received it. I certainly didn't feel that it was worth the 20-something dollars I paid for it. However, it seems soft and well-made. I was just disappointed in it's size.

My son loves this lovey! It has a silky inside and soft nubby outside. The moose is kind of felted so there are many textures for baby to explore. I only gave it a 4 because some of the stitching has loosened a little, I also think it is a little overpriced. But otherwise this is a great product if your baby loves blankies!

For some reason, this is the only book that my 8-month-old daughter actually pays attention to and doesn't try to eat. When I open this book, she stares at the pictures and watches till the end. She doesn't do this with any other book, including others in the Bunnies by the Bay series. It's no deep story, just a series of pairs of pages: "Is this a bunny? No, this is a duck! Quack quack". But the pictures must be very appealing to that age. It's cute and small and colorful and the bunny on the cover is soft plush (the inside is just plain board book).

This rattle is great for babies that like music (which is almost all of them). My son loves rattles and anything that makes noise, but he especially likes this because of the bell. It makes a pleasant (and more importantly, not annoying!) sound and my son loves to roll it, shake it, and gnaw on it. I got it for him when he was 7 months old. I have been looking for a way to display some of my porcelain button collection and this cupcake stand is just the thing! I bought small white ramekin/tart dishes for each species of button and placed them on the tiers of the stand. Inspired! Who knows, I might even use it for cupcakes some day.
This little set is really cute, and my 2 1/2-year-old daughter likes it, but it's not something she plays with often. She puts on the headband, combs her hair, and looks in the mirror, but then she moves on to something else. When she does use it, she loves looking like Uniqua and hearing Tasha and Uniqua talk to her, and it was definitely a must-have since she is a huge Backyardigans fan. I like that the comb and headband snap right into the mirror, because otherwise they would be lost under the couch in about two seconds!

This is a cute design, but for a product claiming to be "heirloom quality" we were disappointed by the construction. The Elephant we received (along with the replacement from the manufacturer because we complained about the first one) was mounted off centre on the wooden frame. There were also defects in the stitching of the saddle. Also slightly annoying is the difficulty of aligning the music buttons with the stiched on markers on the elephant's head. The music plays somewhat randomly (and started once in the middle of the night). I'm not that unhappy with the toy as it is a very cute design and seems sturdy and durable enough, but if you're expecting "heirloom quality" you may be disappointed.

I purchased the pink elephant for my 10 month old daughter from another site, and my daughter was timid around it at first. It's the biggest toy she's owned so far, so I wasn't surprised. We left it out in the room with her, and she warmed up to it after a few days. We'd take her over to it and have her touch it and crinkle the ears. She didn't enjoy sitting on it at first. She now loves it! She loves to sit on it and rock by herself. She loves to stand next to it and dance to the music. The music is very loud and annoying. It's hard to understand the words at first. But she just loves it so much that I can't bring myself to turn it off. You can only turn the music off completely you cannot turn it down. There's a box under the trunk to switch it off, but the speaker is up by the ear, and I'm pretty sure we can't get to it to muffle the volume. Overall, I think it's a great, unique toy, and I'm glad I got it for my daughter, because she loves music and now loves to rock on it. She's large for her age, and she fits well on it. She's about 22-23 pounds and 30 inches tall right now, if that helps you determine what size this toy is good for. We bought this for our niece when she was 18mo old and it was a huge hit. For a while, it was the only thing that kept her occupied for decent stretches of time so that my sister-in-law could cook, etc... uninterrupted. We didn't see any of the construction issues with the rocker that are commonly mentioned in other reviews... Maybe we got lucky?

I ordered one for my son for Easter, and it is to cute! I went with Jellycat because they are supposed to have the softest stuffed animals and so far that is true. I can't comment on the durability yet, but based on first impressions it is top quality. Will definately be buying more Jellycat animals in the future.
Only 2 of the pieces on the cord are attached (the car & clover). The others (middle ones) are loose so that when you tie it, they all fall to the middle. You'd think they would come attached so that there is some spacing in between each one (that is how they are shown in the pictures, not all piled up together). It didn't bother me enough to return it but I did tie some knots so that the bead pieces wouldn't all fall to the middle the problem with that is that its almost impossible to put knots it front of the trees & I couldn't get them tied ... so after an hour of fixing this toy I gave up. I'll have to look for some non-toxic type glue gun to put a dab of glue on the two trees. It's very cute just could have been crafed better.
I purchased these for our (almost) 10 month old son for his stocking. I was presently surprised when they arrived, much nicer than my expectations. They are very hefty (in a good way) I didn't think my son would really play with them much at first, but he loves rolling them back and forth on the floor. A special perk for parent's, no annoying twisty ties getting them out of the package. Over all, I think these will last for years to come, and will really grow with our son. I'm very pleased I went with these and not some of the plastic ones I was considering.

My grandmother gave this little sheep dog to my infant daughter for Christmas (a little stocking stuffer). The big kids received big stuffed animals, and she didn't want the littles girl to be left out. :) Who would have know this little puppy would be the lifesaver he is! The baby was instantly attached to this little guy. We think she found his somewhat course hair easy to hold onto... No matter the reason, Puppy has landed as "Top Dog" among her favorite toys! We have washed "Puppy" several times after having been spit up and drooled on, and he still looks just as great as the day we came home with him. I hate to admit I just purchased two more puppies as "Rescue Dogs" for when the original is not available (washing or at daycare)!
These are great party favors. While not the best quality in the world, they have great details and for the price, you can't beat it.

This toy is a great idea, teaching a child to put a ball in the basket. Unfortunately the mechanism does not work as one would imagine. The cheering and music is activated by pushing down on the rim, not by anything triggered by the ball going into the basket. As a result, a succesful attemp where the child gets "nothin but net" is not "rewarded". However a child rapidly learns that there is no need to put the ball through the hoop, they can just bang on the rim and it cheers and plays music. I thought my Grandson would love this but he just never really got into it. He loves the balls (and all balls) but the toy itself does not hold his interest. We've had it since Christmas and he still has never really taken to it. Big waste of money.
Got this for my 10 month old, who loves it. She's not exactly playing music, but she loves that she can hit the drum with the stick and make different noises. Her face lights up with manic glee when she plays drums. We have not had this long enough to know if it will hold her interest for months to come, but I'm hopeful. Generally, this kind of simple toy keeps baby interested better than the light-up toys that play sounds. (And I feel a lot less compelled to kick the simple toys across the room for the crime of singing the damned "¡Hola!" jingle for the umpteenth time.)
I like the older version (the train) a lot better! It had more toy features and looked better too. I hope Chicco brings back the train! This car is OK but cannot compare with what they had before.
