Child Tricorn Hat - Child Std.

Child Tricorn Hat - Child Std.I bought this for my son to wear to his school Virginia history day. The only thing it didn't like about it was it wasn't pointed enough at the tips. Too rounded.

The quality of the hat was fine, about what I expected. It fit my 4-year-old just fine, but was a little small for my 6-year-old.

Sckoon Organic Cotton Skinny Rabbit Doll (stuffing is organic, too!)

Sckoon Organic Cotton Skinny Rabbit DollThere is something really engaging about this doll, I nearly wanted one for myself! It was a present for my little grand daughter who is just 10 months old. She loves it, she had an immediate attraction. This toy is safe, so she does what babies do, puts it in her mouth. It is easy to hold with the skinny arms & legs but still has enough volume to give comfort. It's really a super little doll. She can bite it, swing it around when she's excited, snuggle with it at bedtime. No hard or toxic bits on this toy. I recommend it without condition.

I looked over many items on Amazon and in local stores for the perfect lovey for my 6 month old daughter and I thought I'd found it. When it arrived, however, it was a little smaller than I'd hoped. No matter... I still thought it was cute and she'd enjoy snuggling with it. Then I washed it. While the outside did get softer as promised, the inside stuffing lumped up, leaving unfilled areas in the arms and legs. The little bunny's dress also curled up where stitched on the ends (I even removed it from the dryer when damp to smooth out the dress). If you are looking for a stuffed animal that looks cute sitting in a corner untouched, she's perfect; however, I don't think this little bunny is up to the wear and tear given by a small child or the washings needed over time.

I love to order bunnies for babies because my son became attached to one at the age of three months, and still has it stuffed in a dresser drawer, even at 17. I'm very particular about the shapes and fabrics, though. This bunny seemed to fit the bill, but when it arrived, it turned out to be much smaller than I had anticipated. I'm sure the fault is mine, as I had read a zillion product descriptions by the time I found it, but I wish it were bigger, the better to cuddle. Otherwise, it's terrific: soft, safe, and a potentially perfect companion--at least for awhile.

This is the perfect companion for my baby who is 4 months. She smiles at her and I feel safe when she put it in her mouth because it is organic. Bonus that it is washable. I think it is just so cute and simple for my sweet sweet girl. We love it.

Tonka Wheel Pals Triple Track Tower

Tonka Wheel Pals Triple Track TowerMy 2 year old hasn't stopped playing with this toy since we took it out of the box. He absolutely loves putting the cars on the starting blocks and pushing the button to watch them go down the hills.

The cars seem very durable. They are a softer plastic (but not too squishy) and have nice big wheels. They're a perfect size for 2 year old hands to hold onto and push around.

You can turn the sound off, which is a nice feature a lot of toys seem to forget to add these days. The tracks also seem durable. They are "connected" at the top and the bottom of the ramps so we have not had any ramps coming loose and frustrating my son.

Overall, a very simple toy but it has bright cheery colors and it's very toddler friendly. Even my 4 and 8 year olds are trying to take it over to play it and have races. I think it's a sure hit for any child and it has a very attractive price.

Cute concept just a little boring. My son is 22 months old and plays with it for about 2 minutes and then is done. The race is over almost as quickly as pushing the button.

ON A AGGRAVATING NOTE: This is the Wheel Pals race track and NOT ONE of the WHEEL PALS work on it. Hasbro/Tonka has made the race cars smaller than the little wheel pals so when your child tries to race the other Wheel pals he or she has on this track they won't work. What a racquet!!

I bought this for my son hoping and praying I wouldn't waste the money because he gets more enjoyment out of movies and household objects. Well, it was money worth spent. He has played with it everyday and loves to watch the cars race down the track. He also loves the fact that he is the one who makes them go. He is tickled by the noises it makes.

I have so much fun racing cars on this tower with my son. We have had it for a month and he still loves it. The cars roll super easy and you can even buy another set of cars for variety. Just a great little set for 10 bucks.

My son really enjoys this toy. I've also found the Hot Wheels/Matchbox style cars work superbly on the tracks. Smaller car lengths work better than longer styles. Some of them really zoom across hard wood floors (much farther than the included cars). My boy gets a hoot out of that.

Actually purchased at Kmart for $12.99. I'm happy with my purchase.

Mommy & Me Spin'n Spray (Bear)

Mommy & Me Spin'n SprayMy 20 month old daughter loves this thing but now the spray on it is not working as well. All i can say is that u need to make sure u have NO hair in ur tub. This toy sucks teh water up through the botton and spits it out the spout so if you have any hair in the tub, like i did without knowing, ur in trouble. The toy sucked up the hair and now its tangles inside the spout where teh water comes out. So now, the water dosnt come out so much. There are tiny screws to take the toy apart but u need one of those mini screw drivers that are long to be able to fit into the little screw hole and reach way down to the screw. Im in the process of trying that as soon as i get a screw driver that will fit. I hope it works.

Haba Bath Book Mermaid

Haba Bath Book Mermaidit's not a book it's a long strip of pictures but it's still pretty cute. My toddler was pretty confused by it tho when she went to turn the pages and it didn't turn it unfolded. she's not that into it, but maybe when she gets older

I bought this bath toy for my daughter. It is really cute! Both my son and daughter love it. Sometimes we take the book out of the tub because they like it that much!

This is the second HABA bath book that we own (we also have the frog book). My 11 month old daughter loves opening the HABA books and she spends more time looking at the pictures in these books than her non-bath books (because she's a little calmer and less mobile in the bath tub). It is true that the HABA books don't have words, but at this age we just name the pictures and talk about what the mermaid or the frog are doing. Books without words are great for expanding your child's imagination (you can make up a different story every night)!

Floating Rubber Duck Family 4 Piece Bath Set

Floating Rubber Duck Family 4 Piece Bath SetI got this product to float in a koi pond that my cats insist on playing in. I figured floating these duckies in the pond would give my cats something to 'swat' at without focusing on our fish. The momma duck floats upright well; however the baby ducks float upside down better than they do right-side up. I would think those designing 'rubber duckies' could at least manage to create a product that floats upright. Anyway my husband and I spend our time uprighting the small duckies. Our cats think it is fun to send them floating upside down again. Our duckies haven't filled with water as some complained because we haven't squeezed them. There were some who said that there is no way to get all the water out of them once they have water inside. Perhaps ours would float upright if we had a little water in them for weight...don't know.

Baudino Spilling funnel

Baudino Spilling funnelWe had a great time with this toy at the beach. I admit that I played with it as much as the kids. It takes just the right mix of water and sand to work correctly. Once we got it going it made some really fun structures. With supervision a five year old can manage this toy. The younger ones had a hard time with it.

The spilling funnel was so much fun at the beach. I bought this for my 3 and 5 year old grandchildren. Although my three year old granddaughter could not always work it properly she was fascinated by the all the "structures" we could make with the funnel. She had fun filling it with the water and sand and then watching as other people made things. My five year old grandson got the hang of it after watching some adults use it. We made a sand village and used the funnel to make walls, towers, little buildings, hills, mountains in our village. All in all a great purchase! Kept the adults as well as the kids entertained for hours.

I love the durability and diversity of this toy. It digs sand, pours water, and shapes sand castles, all without cracking or faltering. Love this toy, we've had it for over 2 years now and do not go to the beach without it. We frequent CA beaches and highly recommend this toy for sand play.

Little Tikes 5-in-1 Adjustable Gym

Little Tikes 5-in-1 Adjustable GymI have a unique perspective because this was purchased for my son who is disabled. Because of a brain hemorrhage at birth, he is mentally delayed. He really enjoys these types of activity centers. This one is great because of the spinning cylinder with beads. The problems would be that the buttons are so high that a baby sitting on the floor can't reach them. Also, the spinning things on both sides of the cylinder don't spin very well unless the toy is positioned just right. Because the toy is for my son, I haven't had a chance to try out the drawing surface on the back side. Just an FYI, my wife thought it would be like a white board but it isn't. White board markers don't easily erase.

I am surprised by some of the low reviews. This is an amazingly versatile toy that goes a LONG way for your money. The ONLY way to fairly review this product is to see how well it holds up over time because it really grows with your growing baby. Let me explain...

We first got this as a gift from a relative for our son, who was 3 months old at the time. He could barely reach it while lying on his back. Kind of disappointing, but propping him up closer with layers of blankets underneath him did the trick. It wasn't his most favorite toy, but it kept him busy for couple hours each day.

Then he got big enough to crawl, so we adjusted the gym for his size. Still not his most favorite toy, but still played with it for an hour or two each day.

Then he's 9 months old. We adjusted the gym once again. While his other expensive toys came and went as he outgrew them, the baby always seemed to go back to this gym. It just looks new to him each time it is reconfigured into a different way.

Then he's a year old, and could sit. We adjusted the gym to become a sitting bench area for him, and he would sit on it for half an hour at times. Not his most favorite toy, but still very useful and kept him busy, especially if he wanted to play with a toy on the flat side of the reversible tabletop.

Now he's almost 1.5 years old. Most of his toys received as an infant were packed away or given away because he outgrew them, but not this Old Reliable still going strong and still sits at the center of his playpen.

So yes, it's not the most entertaining toy or the next Tickle Me Elmo, but I don't know of a single other toy that could be used from the day a baby's born until he's 2 or 3, do you? For $35, that is an amazing value, and that's why this product should deserve nothing less than 5 stars for all the mileage you can get out of it. All these other low reviews only reflect a snapshot of time, such as when it is first purchased, and not how it fares well over the years.

HABA Pixie's World Pram Decoration

HABA Pixie's World Pram DecorationOnly 2 of the pieces on the cord are attached (the car & clover). The others (middle ones) are loose so that when you tie it, they all fall to the middle. You'd think they would come attached so that there is some spacing in between each one (that is how they are shown in the pictures, not all piled up together). It didn't bother me enough to return it but I did tie some knots so that the bead pieces wouldn't all fall to the middle the problem with that is that its almost impossible to put knots it front of the trees & I couldn't get them tied ... so after an hour of fixing this toy I gave up. I'll have to look for some non-toxic type glue gun to put a dab of glue on the two trees. It's very cute just could have been crafed better.

I love this pram chain and so does my 3 month old. I have it tied to his Perego infant carseat. The paint is safe for baby chewing and the colors are fun but not jarring. Adults compliment it everywhere we go. Maybe you don't see them that often. My friends loved mine and all went out to buy their own ;)Pleasant little bell sound that's found on many Haba toys. This would make a unique baby gift.

I purchased this toy for my nephew who is 5 months old. It is very well made and brightly colored. The only gripe I have is that the toy is much smaller than I originally thought. It is no bigger than the palm of my hand. I thought it would be bigger than that. After finding that it was smaller than I expected I questioned the price, but the quality is excellent so I am happy with it. These make better stocking stuffers for Christmas than an actual "big gift" for a child.

Elegant Baby Oversized 8" Polka Dot Rubber Duckie

Elegant Baby Oversized 8' Polka Dot Rubber Duckie - Hot PinkWe remodeled our bathroom and I added some duck themed items including a rubber duck. I saw this on Amazon (the price keeps dropping) and thought the price was good. It's $24.99 at Elegant Baby, so it's a deal here.

When it arrived, I was shocked at how big it is! It's amazing looking, though. Very well made and very unique. I can see where a baby or toddler would really love it.

One thing, though. It does have a small opening so if you squeeze it, it makes noise. The downside to that, I feel, is that it will take on water in the bathtub. And given that it's such a small opening, I can see where the water would be retained. This might prove to be a germ problem down the line. So, if you plan to use it in the bathtub, I'd recommend plugging up the hole with some elastic caulking, the kind that shrinks to fit.

Otherwise, this is adorable and the price is good.

My daughter loves this duck! She keeps trying to ride it in the tub. It's huge! Getting the water out of it is dang near impossible. Hope it doesn't mold on the inside.

Robo Chase ** 24 Months Age ** Little Learner ** Developmental ** Great Toy

Robo Chase ** 24 Months Age ** Little Learner ** Developmental ** Great ToyWe received this toy as a gift. It moves in a fixed, x-shaped pattern and does well on wood flooring and relatively flat carpet (we don't have shag carpeting, so I don't know how it would do on that). Our little guy wasn't much of a crawler, but this toy really got him moving! In addition to moving, the robot lights up and makes sounds. A couple months later baby still enjoys playing with the robot, maybe not for quite as long as when he first got it, but it still entertains.

From the day I got this, my son has loved this toy.

Bright Starts Gift Set

Bright Starts Gift SetMy baby has loved this set of toys from the beginning. The panda rattle was the first toy she smiled at and the first toy she tried to grab. The booties fit her for the first few months and were fun because they rattled when she kicked her feet. The blocks and balls are great too because they have different textures, bells inside, or crinkley noises that she still loves at 6 months old. And the panda is actually still her favorite toy. :) I'd buy this set for any of my friends or for my next baby.

Fisher-Price Bright Beginnings Activity Walker

Fisher-Price Bright Beginnings Activity WalkerWe bought this toy when my son was about 11 months old. He had been pulling up to standing for quite some time, but just hadn't made the transition to walking yet. As soon as saw this toy he immeditiately pulled to standing and started taking steps! Now, 2 months later, he still uses it even though he can walk on his own. He loves pushing it around the house.

I saw some reviews on the musical version of this toy where some said that the toy was not good for kids pulling up to standing. My son weighed about 20 lbs when he first got it and never had any issues pulling up. The toy never fell over from his weight.

My husband rarely cares about reviews, but he read the review with me when there was only one review for this (5-star at the time) and was sold on buying it. At first, I have to admit that I was disappointed when I unpacked it. It is very lightweight; it's all pretty thin plastic on the whole toy. The picture made it seem like the part with the 'toys' on it was heavy enough to weigh the whole thing down. It's pretty much just a shell, with a few gadgets attached.

When we bought it our child was about 7 months old, and loved crawling. When we tried the walker, our son really needed to put his weight on whatever was holding him up when he wanted to practice walking. So, when we first tried the walker with him, it would have toppled right over (with him) if both us hadn't either been holding our son or the toy. It's definitely not made to be heavily leaned upon by someone with wobbly legs.

We helped our son practice using the walker practically all the time, even though I thought the toy was far too light to ever be a support. It actually became useful in stages. At first, our son was increasingly able to hold his own weight, standing, which is what made the walker increasingly usable. The walker was a little more useful when he could stand well, but the 'toys' on it were totally uninteresting. (At least it's a quiet toy that doesn't need batteries.) Then, he could pretty much take one or two steps with the walker, on his own. Finally, one evening he just crawled to the walker and ran down the hall with it. It was quite a shock because when he pulled himself up, I thought he was going to fall over with the toy. (We'd always held the toy steady for him, up to that point.) I was only a few feet away watching him before I realized he wanted to stand up, but by the time I got up and took two steps to go help him, he'd already started running down the hall with it. (After I recovered my jaw, I woke my husband to see the surprise.)

I'd say if you're interested in just getting something to help your child transition to walking on his/her own, this toy serves its purpose. Your child should probably be steady on his/her feet, meaning pretty much able to stand steadily. Early on, when he'd adjusted to using it, my husband and I still spent a lot of time holding the toy with him because his leaning on it made it roll quite quickly (the wheels are just as thin and lightweight as the rest of the toy.)

If you're like I was, and are looking for a walker that can double as a toy for a baby to play with while sitting, get something else. (I didn't invest much time looking into walkers because we have no stairs to worry about and have mostly carpet floors; so I can't make a specific, alternative suggestion.) It works very well on carpet, by the way. Regular floors, keep an eye on the little one driving.

Personally, I'd hoped it would be a multi-purpose toy (based on the picture), having little things on top of it to play with, but the widgets just flip like pages or spin. In the end, though, our son didn't really need us to invest a lot in a walker because the transition was about a month or two, then he wanted to take steps on his own and didn't want the toy to help him anymore. He pretty much stopped using it after he started practicing on his own.

We bought this when it was about $20, I think. (I'd spent so much on other toys I didn't have much left to invest in a walker at the time.) In hindsight, I'm glad I didn't spend a lot on this kind of toy. Really, it's not necessary to spend more than $20 on a push walker anyway. I definitely wouldn't buy this particular walker for more than $20 or $25. By the time children get the hang of walking with the help of a toy, they will probably just want to try walking on their own, one step at a time.

By the way, I rated this toy 5 stars because my husband specifically asked me to write a review for this (of all the toys I bought on Amazon) and to rate it 5 stars. I love him, he thought the toy was great, and my son's a champion at walking now, so, here's 5 stars. Cheers.

Ok! so we all love fisher price and I was excited to get a walker for my son I bought it for him when he was 10 months old and we have had it for one month now. It looks great in the picture BUT its EXTREMELY light weight... DO NOT BUY THIS!!! its not meant to work as a walker... when the kid tries to stand up the toys falls over, the kid falls over, and he or she gets hurt. again its very light weight and cheap... you are better off getting something heavy and durable... my son tries to stand up with this toy to practice and he falls over... the toy cant hold the childs weight... and my son is not over weight or fat... just a normal 11 month old baby!

My daughter got this toy as a gift when she was 6 months old. Before she could walk we used it as an activity center and she would crawl up the face and flip the items. I used the little animal flip tabs to teach her what sounds each animal makes.

Once she began standing she used it as a walker. She is now 3 and her 8-month-old brother has taken it over. He loves spinning the wheels and playing with the activities. The toy looks like new even though we have used it outside on the driveway as well as in the house. Soon he'll be ready to stand and use it. I love this toy.

Want Fisher-Price Bright Beginnings Activity Walker Discount?

I took this out of the box and my 7 month old baby was trying to scale me to get to it. I had to wrestle him away just so I could put the stickers on. Once I gave it to him, he attacked it viciously and played with it a good half an hour without pause. When he did pause, it was only to crawl across the floor and back to it. The only issue I have with it so far is that we have hardwood floors and he wants to stand all the time while holding on to things (though nowhere near steadily enough to use it in walker mode). He likes to lean over it, holding himself up with one hand and standing on his feet while he plays with the toys on it with his free hand. Because the wheels do not lock and we have hardwood floors, it tends to slide out from under him. In that half an hour, he fell about 7 times.

HOWEVER... I'm not one of those mums who sheds a tear whenever my LO falls on his backside or gets a tiny bump on the head. It's a good learning experience for him to fall down now and then, even if it does upset him. It's certainly not the toy's fault that he wants to play with it in such a position but it WOULD be nice if locking the wheels was an option. I'll probably just use something to jam them until he's old enough to walk with it.

He LOVES it. Therefore, I'm pretty fond of it too.

Dream On Me 2 in 1 Crossover Musical Walker and Rocker

Dream On Me 2 in 1 Crossover Musical Walker and Rocker, Pinkeverytime i put my little one in this thing i always get smiles out of him. he seems to really enjoy the walker and it is very versitile. i did not get the color indicated but i am still pretty happy woth it

Bought this as a replacement for another model of the same brand. This has 4 directional wheels and my daughter loves this walker. She is all smiles and da-da ba-ba as soon as we put her in this walker. It moves very easily unlike the model that we returned which has only 2 directional wheels in the front. The color is not what we said we'll be getting by the Amazon lady on phone, but still I'll keep it as it serves the purpose very well. Quality is not top-notch but feels safe and reassuring. Very happy with it. Yes, I recommend it if you are not too picky with the quality. The lights, music and other little toys are nice add-ons. I would have given it 5 stars if the quality was better. But I didn't expect it to be Fisher-Price quality anyway. So, I'm satisfied with what I got.
