MAM Twister Teether - Blue

I must say that I think that this teether is wonderful. My 5mo son loves this. It is the perfect size for him. He can grasp and hold it easily. The rattle noise is more of a rain stick rattle (not too loud) which is nice. Each of the rubber handles has different textures on them as well as different rubber densities. Some are more chewy and others more dense. The other reviewer mentioned a rubber smell. I honestly didn't smell anything when I opened it. Plan on getting this for a friend of mine as it is my son's favorite teether.

My 4 month old is teething and i bought this thinking it would be just great for him with the different textures and different colors and the rattle. When i opened it, it had a plastic smell to it but I thought the smell would go away after washing it but it didnt. The smell is like burning rubber, pretty gross. Its 3 days after I bought it and it is still smelly.

Immediately after opening the package I noticed a smell like car tires?! And our 7-months-old son doesn't dare to play with it or chew on it. Not that I'm too sad about that because I'm convinced that nothing good can be in that product if it smells so terrible. How the heck can you manufacture a teething ring which babies have in their mouth all the time with minor quality rubber?! The quality of this product is NOT AT ALL like the usual quality you can expect from MAM-products. I believe it's because this teething ring wasn't made in Europe, but in China. I am very disappointed and do not recommend this product at all.

Pets 2 Piece Puzzles

I have another set of this puzzle and plan to buy more from this company. These are not sold in stores and was so excited to find them on amazon at such a great price. These are the perfect puzzle starters for your little one. They are only 2 pieces each puzzle (it comes with 6 puzzles in one box) but it has taught my little one who is 21 months how to understand the concept of fitting a jigsaw puzzle piece together without becoming too overwhelmed with too many pieces. She gets so excited when she finds the piece that matches and loves putting it together on her own. These puzzles are highly durable and I expect they will last a long time. Highly recommend!

So we have the "under the sea" set and the "farmyard" set along with this set for our 20 month old. She can't fit the pieces together by herself (yet) but this puzzle is fun for her to try and figure out which piece goes with which. It comes with 6 animals: dog, cat, rabbit, hamster (I think it's a hamster...could be a guinea pig), budgie, and goldfish. Because the hamster, fish, and rabbit are all similarly colored, she sometimes thinks the rear of the rabbit is the hamsters'....until she sees the tail. The pieces are huge for each animal, so there is no danger of choking on any small parts. The large size also makes it easy to clean up (and for your little one to start helping you clean up their toys!). If your little one is still chewing on things, they might try to chew on these pieces, which would be a worry, since the pieces (like the other sets) are thick cardboard, and I don't think anyone would want their child to ingest pieces of soggy cardboard.

Great on the floor then sets up into table etc...bright lights and nice sounds. I like it because I haven't seen it in any stores near me...not everyone has one like it. My daughter loved it...I did too per the price.

This table is just terrific! We got it for my daughter when she was 6 mo's old. She is now 10 mo and discovering new features of this table every day. She has used ti every day for 4 mo's and we have yet to replace the batteries. She leans on it, crawls on it and pushes on it it is very durable.

Bright Starts Roll Shake and Spin Activity Balls

I bought this from Walmart for my son for about six dollars. I fail to understand why Amazon has such a high markup on this item. Regarding the ball set, my son likes the balls with stuff inside that make noise. So essentially he plays with two balls as the third ball with a spinning toy inside doesn't have much appeal for him.

Son has loved these since he was 6 months. So you know what you're getting: 1) has a little friend inside that rattles when shaken 2) has a spinner that twirls/spins when rolled 3) has mini-balls that will roll from top to bottom and vice versa when turned and rattles as well 4&5)have layers that click when turned (son has not mastered this skill yet so they are colorful balls) I would roll and he would crawl after them, hide and seek, would shake behind ear then hide then shake behind other ear then show it & he would laugh, this is my go to when he is fussy.

Skip Hop Treetop Friends Night and Day Discovery Toy

This is our go to toy right now. Our baby is almost 3 months old and for the past month she has loved looking at this toy and trying to grab it when we hang it in front of her. She seems to really look at it, unlike a few other toys I have ordered her. I love how it comes with a hanging strap and I can really attach it to anything. Once she starts teething I really think she will enjoy the grooved leaf to chew on. It's really such a cute toy, I will be buying more of the Treetop toys.

I bought this toy because I get all these e-mails from these places telling me what my baby should be doing this week. Well one week (at a very young age) the email said that the baby should have a favorite toy. Well we didn't even have very many toys for the baby yet because she could barely hold on to anything at that point. So being the self consciouse mom that I am I went on the internet and searched for the top rated toys for 3 month old babies. This owl toy was number one on many sites so I ordered it without another thought. She likes it. It's small so she can hold it. The only two complaintes I have (and they arne't really bad ones) are that it sheds this fabric when she hold it or puts it in her mouth. It's not thread... I'm not sure what it is but it definately comes from the toy because you can see it on the toy. The other bothersome thing is EVERYONE who sees the toy comments on how owls are nocternal and the sleeping owl should be on the night side instead of the daytime one. But having said all that we love it! And SHE loves it, which in the end is all that matters!

My almost seven months daughter loved this toy, until today when I realize the leaf part had broken and she had more than half on her mouth!!!

The part that attaches to the toy is very thin and can break. I will be contacting the company to let them know.

It was also cracked on the other end so that part could have detached and she could have swallow that. Scary!

I really like the fact that there are no sounds or flashing lights on this toy. The reward for completing a task is the joy of doing it not some funny noise or bright light. This toy really develops fine motor skills. There is a ton of stuff to do, a door to open, gears to turn, a little bee to pull which makes the circles spin, an apple to push, the spinning ball thing at the bottom, and a litlle slot at the side that you can push in and pull out. My 8 month old keeps discovering new things to do. This toy is great, especially for the price. And most importantly, the reward for the baby at the end of the day is that feeeling of... yeah I did it.

Its also great for parents when you need a break from all the noise that your baby's other other toys make. it will keep the baby entertained without giving you a headache.

I bought this for my 6 month old son, who's now 11 months old. He loves it and it has bought me extra time in the mornings after he wakes up! He will sit there and fiddle with all the little gadgets for about 20 minutes before he starts to get bored. It also makes putting him down for a nap a lot easier he's always got something to play with in his crib. The only issue that is has is that the back of it is hard and it bangs against the wooden crib, we just put a soft washcloth behind it and no noise or scratching!

This toy should NOT be used in a crib. My 8 month old today got his finger stuck in the door handle! It hurt him and he screamed in pain. It was jammed in there so good it was actually hard for me to get it out. My son loves this toy and I like that it has no electronic parts and is purely fine motor skill entertainment, but the fact that the door is so poorly designed out weighs the rest for me. I will be sending a letter to the company and based on prior users comments my son is not the first baby that has had this happen to them. They should pull these off the shelves and do a product recall.

I saw a couple other reviews mention that their little ones got their finger stuck in the door. But overall everyone seemed to like it so I gave my wife the go ahead...knowing that if there was a problem with it, I'm handy around the house and could fix it so it didn't hurt our daughter. Well, indeed, within a couple hours after it arrived and she started playing with it, she got her finger inserted through the hole in the door handle and couldn't get it out. The plastic isn't smooth there, either, so it kind of "bit" and grabbed tight. I immediately knew why the scathing comments from angry parents. Our daughter was fine, just a bit frustrated and worried. Mom was watching and intervened quickly. Otherwise, our daughter (10 months) loves the variety of things to do, and is quite engaged with it. I was surprised she found the little slide-out elephant near the bottom (it's pretty obscure), which quickly became one of her favorites.

I solved the hazard by hot gluing a 2" piece of wood into the handle hole in the door. This keeps her fingers from going all the way through the handle and getting stuck (see customer picture I uploaded). Now she loves it AND there's no hazard.

MANUFACTURER: Make note of my picture and make a simple design change. It would be very easy to fix!

Fun activity toy! My daughter loves it! The only wish I had would be that it would latch on better to the crib. It just has little ties and so it falls down and rests against the mattress. I wish t had clasps or something instead of strings.

My 4 month old loves the little butterfly! The other toys don't really interest her as much but thats not to say that they aren't good quality toys. But I think its a great buy! It helped me alot in trying to get her to reach and grab on to objects. And if u put the butterfly in the freezer (the wings have liquid in them) it is great as a first teething toy! My daughter doesnt have teeth yet but she loves to put stuff in her mouth and there is a wonderful texture difference between the top and bottom wings. I have no regrets about buying this, it was a great price for quality products! The only thing I would change is that the little TV remote toy has three sets of matching buttons, and each of the matching buttons make the same sound. So instead of getting 8 different sounds you only get 5. And since the sounds are really short I think it would have been nice to get more sounds to try to catch a babys interest. But had I known the sounds it wouldn't have been a deal breaker.

My 5 month old son loves the piano and butterfly teether. The soft photo album is perfect to allow him to look at family pictures without worrying about damaging the album or it hurting him. My son hasn't really played with the remote control. I think he will enjoy it when he gets a little older.

I bought this set for my daughter. She is 7 months old now and has been playing with this set for the past 4 months. Her favorite pieces are the piano which plays music and lights up when you hit the keys and the photo album. I put 6 pictures in the photo album of our whole family and it's a great church toy. The butterfly can be put in the fridge as a teething toy with it's gel filled wings and the remote control makes noises but does not light up. She plays with all the toys and they are still in great shape. Very happy with the quality of this purchase and that these toys have kept her interest so long.

We got this set for our daughters 1st Christmas. I knew at 2-1/2 months, I knew they would be toys she grew into. The book was an immediate favorite.

The other toys are a little heavy & awkward.

At 5mo she started showing an interest in the butterfly & piano. The little remote is too big & the buttons need a force her little fingers can't muster.

I suspect in another month (maybe even another week) she'll be swinging these other toys around with a smile on her face!

Chicco Toys Sing 'N Learn Orchestra

When I ordered it for my daughter, I didn't know it would be so useful. It has three musical styles:Pop, Jazz and Classical. It allows to listen to each instrument (harp, piano, drum, violin and trumpet) separately and playing one composition. Each instrument and conductor sing about themselves. I like Chicco products in general, but this toy exceeded all my expectations and ones of my little daughter.

I got this toy for our 19-month-old. The "orchestra" option is amazing at showing how instruments interact while bringing music to life very educational! I bet many adults do not have this kind of notion. Sad thing there are only two songs per rhythm, for a total of 6 songs (2 classical, 2 jazz, 2 pop). The other options are kind of OK, but our little one still gets a good laugh at the fun noises. The batteries in our toy were leaking when we got it, but luckily it didn't compromise the functioning of the toy. And sad we paid 10 bucks more ($34) for it 10 days ago!!!

I bought this toy for my daughter because she loves music and things that light up. This toy is really interactive and holds my daughter's attention. There are three different buttons you can choose from to learn about the musical instruments and different types of music. This toy is also really easy for my daughter to carry around with her. My only complaint is that the harp sounds VERY sexual and there is only one voice but they changed the pitch to make different voices. So overall a good toy interactive and educational toy.

Fisher-Price Rock-A-Stack - Pink

Fisher Price always makes cool toys. I had one of these when I was a baby and enjoyed playing with it. My daughter's nursery is decorated in pink and I'll admit that was the prevailing reason for purchasing this particular item. Still great.

These stackable rings are similar to the other stackable rings by Fisher Price. My daughter loves them because the top one has little beads in it to make a rattle sound when she shakes it. I love it because it is girlie colors! It's worth the money to have a toy that is cute and my daughter loves.

My daughter is almost six months old and LOVES this toy! The top ring has a couple of beads in it or something that makes it rattle, which makes it even more fun for her. She is constantly knocking it over, pulling the rings off, and playing with each part of the toy. I highly recommend this!

I was disappointed when i removed it from the packaging and saw it. I knew it was a paper mobile, I just expected something a bit more sturdier, maybe a little thicker. It looks good but not worth the amount I paid for it.

My son got it for his 4th birthday. He opened it, looked at it and set it aside. Disappointing. My son loves his fire trucks and tries to take them to bed (hard plastic clearly the better to knock himself out with). I thought a nice, soft fire truck (I thought it be 8". It's, like 2.5") would be ideal. Fortunately, my 2 y/o daughter adopted it.

The truck was much smaller than pictures. The noise it makes is annoying and it is not a soft toy with the large sound box inside.

This is my favorite toy purchase for my 3 mo. old son so far!

I love that Manhattan toy has teamed up with the research from Wimmer-Ferguson to create a line of what I call "smart toys"...toys that have functions designed to target children's developmental needs.

These are my reasons for why this is a great purchase:

1) VERSATILITY. I hang these on cover over his swing, on his bouncer, car seat handle, etc. They can entertain him everywhere!

2)FABRIC/COLORS. These are true to the description and both the black/white striped sides as well as the designs on both sides of each are very contrasting and attention-holding for infants

3)BONUS FEATURES. The triangle shape with the bee has a orange circle that you can pull and it vibrates the toy. ALthough my 3mo. old is not old enough to pull it by himself the circle is perfect for him to hold with his little hand right now. The circle shape with the tiger face squeaks which is again too advanced for my son, but he will hold and try to chew on the blue disk attached. The third, the square has a flap that crinkles over the face of a baby. He likes to grab onto the flap. Later, he will be able to manipulate this toy more effectively by playing with this 'peek-a-boo' feature.

I love love that these are great toys for my son now and will be great for him later as well.

I tend to think that most of the black and white based toys are geared to really young babies because that coloring is best for them. I bought these before my little one was born and was impressed by the quality of the pieces. However, the toys all require control of hands to make them "work.". The cat squeaks, but has to be pressed fairly firmly. The bee vibrates when you pull down on the ring. And the other one has a crinkly flap that you lift up to find another picture. Ther is no rattle or jingle that a little baby can make happen just by flailing arms and legs. The pictures are great, but because we bought several manhattan toy products we have the same pictures elsewhere. I'm really hoping my LO grows into these, because they do seem like great toys.

We really like these for our baby. They have great contrasting colors, and the designs are simple and classic. I have purchased other toys to hang from the infant seat but these are my favorites. Also, one of them vibrates when you pull the ring down which is a bonus since it has at times helped calm the baby in his seat.

Great black and white images for baby but a bit small. The toy with the bee has a little pull down ring which makes the toy buzz/ vibrate. The small mirror on the back of the square toy is great and the cat is also a squeaky toy. Great collection but a bit small.

We bought this for our 7 month old daughter for Christmas, thinking that she would grow into it's educational value in the next year or so. I put the box with the top off in front of her and she loves to reach in a pull them out and look at them. They end up landing on the floor quite often, but they are very well made and haven't had any damage yet. This is a really cute, well-made and interesting shape-sorting toy. I would highly recommend it.
