My First TAGGIES Puzzle
This toy is also easy to wash. I just threw it in the washing machine in a lingerie bag and it came out just like new.My son loved his Taggie blanket and I was really hoping that he would like this. Honestly, he has never played or had any interest in this. I am hoping as he gets older he will like this.I bought this for my son for a Christmas present because he loves tags and different textures. It is a great toy although I haven't given it to him yet. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the tags weren't different textures. All but one or 2 are the same feel, just different print. I think it would have made it even better to have each tag to have a different feel to it.

Fisher-Price Amazing Animals Rollin' Around Jungle Playground
There is a hole in the center of the tree trunk that you can put the animals into, and they fall down thru the center of the trunk and come out near the "merry-go-round" (purple, in the image). This is nothing more than a chute -no ramp or slide inside the trunk. You're just dropping the animals, THUD. They could have at least put a little slide in there so the animals really come out with some pizzazz.
The animals are also designed too large to work as suggested inside the merry-go-round and the "teeter-totter".
There used to be another review that seems to have been removed, and it said that their baby pulled this toy over on himself because it's not sturdy enough. I too have had this experience. The baby always wants to reach the little red bird on the top, but while baby is seated, he really has to reach and sort of yank to get what he wants, and then the whole unit comes tumbling over to the fright of the child.
It's really a shame because it seems like there is a good idea here for a toy but it's executed so poorly on just about every front. At least the animals are cute and the music is good. Not recommended, overall, though.I have 5 boys so I know some thing about toys and quality. I bought this for my son, who is now 1, when he was 3 months old (how do you explain to your 5 year old why Santa didn't bring the new baby any toys when he never does anything bad?) Anyway, I thought it was cute, there was music but no lights, which I like. However, the animals do not always go down the track. They often get stuck just before the monkey. It also falls over easy when pulled up on...a typical thing that will happen at this age and FP should know to plan for. The yellow teeter-totter is just a storage spot, he doesn't play with it. Sometimes he will spin the purple merry-go-round but it's rare.
What he seems to like is the animals by themselves. He likes to hold them upside down and spin their bellies. He will roll them on the floor but they don't roll the best. He also loves the red bird and spinning the barrel. That's about it. If I could return it and just buy the animals, I would.
Overall, FP could and should do better with some of their toys.

We bought this with high hopes...Like other viewers have pointed out, the animals get stuck going down the slide. They don't fit in the merry-go-round or the see-saw thing and they don't stay up-right very well. The toy is super cute but my daughter loses interest quickly and it is taking up coveted nursery real estate. Bottom line, I don't recommend it.

My son got this when he was 6 months old and it basically sat around the house collecting dust until he got to be about 11 months old. The first day we had it he loved the spinner that makes music play and he loved trying to eat the hanging monkey, after that he didn't may any attention to it at all. He played with the animals, basically just chewing on them. It's really cute, but like another reviewer said the animals always get stuck going down the slide, the hole in the tree is really unimpressive, and the animals don't fit right in the merry go round or see saw. My son loves this thing now though, he loves sliding the animals that come with it and other toys like balls and cars down the ramp. I have to give this a 4 star rating because this kid loves it and when I'm looking to buy a toy that's what I want to know, will my kid have fun playing with it? Yes? Then we're good. My opinion of the toy isn't as important as if my son is enjoying playing with it, as long as it's safe and not obnoxious, that is.Want Fisher-Price Amazing Animals Rollin' Around Jungle Playground Discount?
A cousin gave this toy to our baby for Christmas. I only recently got it out of the box and assembled it because I felt like our baby was just now old enough to enjoy it (she is 9 months). It does hold her attention for a little while, and the music is not as obnoxious as a lot of other toys. She likes to pull up on it, and she learned very quickly how to make the animals (along with all her other toys) go down the slide...it's always exciting to watch her learn new things, and understand cause and effect, so I can appreciate that aspect of the toy.I don't feel like it's the sturdiest thing, but so far she hasn't fallen when she's pulled up on it. The animals do get stuck on the slide sometimes, but I figured that was because my baby is just learning the function of the toys on the slide, and doesn't always put them on their "belly" (where the roller part is). The parrot is very easy to pull off the top, and has this long, thin hard plastic piece that seems like sort of a safety hazard to me, like it could jab her in the eye or back of the throat, so I usually keep it out of her reach when I see her pull it off. I agree with others that the merry-go-round and seesaw are pointless. I wish they did work because the toy desperately needs some other features than just the slide.
Once I put the toy together, I thought to myself, "This is fine since it was given to us as a gift, but I wouldn't want to spend my own money on it," and that was even before I saw the price listed here. I would say you could definitely find better toys to spend this amount of money on.

I ordered this super stroller toy for my expectant niece who had placed it on a baby registration for another store. I bought it online at Amazon.com for less including shipping costs! As I had it shipped to her, I have never seen it in person. She was happy to receive it, but has not tried it even tho' the baby has arrived, it's not time for stroller rides yet. It appears to be wonderfully designed as it is entertaining just to look at its picture. I get a giggly feeling.Tag: Baby Stroller Toy

Tooth Fairy Pillow Pink
door handle which is very convenient for such a light sleeper. It is very soft, too. She sleeps with it on occasion and says it is very comfortable. This was exactly what I wanted. My granddaughter had a loose tooth and when we told her about the tooth fairy leaving money under her pillow she was so scared. She did not want the tooth fairy to come into her bedroom. This pillow was perfect she could hang it on the door knob and the tooth fairy would not have to come into her room. She was so happy when she discovered the coins the tooth fairy left in her pillow. Great Idea!

I purchased this little pillow from Amazon.com for my granddaughter when she lost her first tooth and it has been used several more times since. It's easy for the tooth fairy to use and great fun for a special little girl.My daughter loved getting this for Christmas. I think it took some of the fear away of her teeth coming out.My 6 year loves this. It's perfect size and great price. I like that it can hang on door rather then under the pillow? it arrived very quickly.Saturday, March 15, 2014

Lil Characters Unisex-baby Infant Teddy Bear Costume
This costume is very soft, so it would be comfortable for even the smallest infant. The sizes do run a bit small. My little one was 7 months old and about 15 pounds. The 12-18 month size fit him comfortably. It was even a bit nicer in person than it appeared in the pictures. We had some professional pictures made with our baby wearing this, and he didn't seem to mind the costume at all. The weather was perfect for a costume this heavy, but I can see how a little one might get overheated in it if the weather is too warm.
The only tiny improvement I could suggest is to the neck closure in the back. It closes with "normal" velcro, and not the more infant-friendly safety-type hook and loop closure. If it's fastened carefully, it shouldn't make a difference. But if it was not closed properly, there could be a chance of the rough part scratching your baby's skin. We didn't have that problem because I fastened it carefully and watched him.
Overall we were extremely happy with the appearance, quality, and fit of this costume!

Learning Hoops
The toy will last you a long time though, I keep it in view in a corner of the living room. It is great for playdates and really does help with coordination it is the first thing the child grasps how to get the ball in the hoop. I think they did a great job in choosing the height of this toy, it's not imposing. As a parent I'm grateful it does not attack my child with overly stimulating loud, brash music and keeps it simple and direct. It will shut itself off pretty quickly ("Thanks for learning with LeapFrog bye bye!") but I think of that as more of a plus than a minus.
It is one of those toys that grows on your child and now my son is 28 months and was sitting in front of it today, pushing the knob inside the basket to get the toy to say the alphabet and he was repeating each letter afterwards.
I have become very impressed with the Leapfrog line of toys (I have not purchased the books though) and along with this toy I would highly, highly recommend the Leapfrog Learning Table (a 5 in my book). When my son got to be just under eight months this he learned how to put the ball thru the hoop and, of course, he loved the sounds it makes. Soon after, he realized that he could make the sound while still keeping the ball in his hand in the hoop. He absolutely loves this toy he plays with it for hours each day. In fact, he seldom goes anywhere without the little ball in his hand. He is ten months now and plays with a much bigger basketball too, but he never gets tired of playing with this toy. I have been reading about some kids pulling off the net well, I just wnet over to the hoop and tried to pull it off myself and I could not. Either they have assembled it incorrectly or I have a super-sturdy model. I can't think of anything bad about this toy except that my son will probably outgrow it before he learns how to spell. My one year old son loves it!! He loves to hear the letters and numbers when he places the ball in the hoop. What a great product. His three yr. old sis even joins in on the fun when they play with it. A must have for all sports fans!!!!The hoop on this toy easily pops off. My child actually had to go to the emergency room because of this toy. She was playing with it as it was intended. The hoop came off which made her lose her balance. She then fell and hit her eye on the hoop. She ended up with a NASTY gash in the crease of her eyelid! If she would have hit any lower she could have actually damaged her eye ball! I sent a letter and received no response. Please do not buy this toy! This toy is TERRIBLE! We recieved it as a gift last night for our 10-month old son. He tried to peer down through the hoop, which broke off and he fell flat on his face HARD. We called Leap Frog to let them know, and they told us it had been discontinued for this very reason, and that if we sent it in, they would send us the new, improved version....

Green Toys Fire Truck

Loved the look and feel of this toy, and was sorely disappointed to have to return it. We have hardwood floors throughout the house, and the truck won't roll on them. Silly design of the wheels create friction on the sides of the truck preventing it from rolling easily. If you have carpeting--go for it. It's got a great-looking, cartoon-y design and it seemed quite durable. If Green Toys were to fix this easily-fixable problem, I'd buy another.Want Green Toys Fire Truck Discount?
We love all of the Green Toys trucks! The bebe is 10-months-old, and loves things with wheels. He loves bright colors too. And he loves that the ladders come off and go back on. So much fun!I, of course, love that these close the recycling loop by utilizing recycled plastic to make really cool, really sturdy toys. And made in the U.S.! I'm planning on making more of these into gifts for other little kids we know.
I want to add, too, that the packaging on these is my favorite toy packaging OF ALL TIME.
As a kid at Christmas, I always just wanted to play with the toy, already! Instead, there were tape seals to cut through, numerous wires to untwist, plastic tabs to unclasp. ARRRGH! But with these trucks, you just pull open the cardboard flap and roll the truck out of the box. Then you put the box in the recycling bin. It's like magic.

It seems that someone is going around and down-voting all of the negative reviews of this product, no matter how clearly written or factual. If you read through them, though, you will see the same opinions expressed again and again:First, the Amazon price is way too high. You can find this toy in most big box retailers for around $12-15.
Second, the buttons are very stiff and hard for young toddlers to use.
This was our experience too. Our baby liked seeing the animals pop up, and she figured out how each lever or knob or button was supposed to work; she just wasn't strong enough to make it happen. You really have to have some strong fingers to use this toy.
Since doing the right thing doesn't work, the educational value is nil. Baby can only play with it if we help her push the buttons, which defeats the whole point of exploring and playing.

We have the lime green version of this toy and it's a big hit around here. I was actually kind of surprised, considering my girls usually go gaga for the electronic, singing toys, but they both love this. It was one of the first toys my younger daughter could manipulate on her own. It's great for teaching some of those finer motor skills. The button pop-up is their favorite because it squeaks when you press it. My one complaint is that the twist key-type one has to be turned a little more after the animal pops up to get it to go back down again and the girls don't really understand that concept just yet. I don't know if that's a quirk specific to our toy, though. So if you're looking for a cute, durable toy that doesn't require batteries, you are in the right place!Want Playskool Busy Poppin' Pals (Colors May Vary) Discount?

Perfect for the beginning stacker, they are durable and we will use them for years to come. The one downside is the chewability....just watch out for teething.I got these for my 2 yr old twin grandsons and they built lots of things with them and hauled them around in their trucks.
