My son has been teething since he was 3 months old. With some teething toys he cries after biting them, which tells me they are much too hard for his swollen and sensitive gums. I bought these teethers as I liked that they came with 2, but different Sophie's. The first is for beginning teething...it more hollow, soft and flexible. My son has never cried while chewing this and it is his favorite teether. The second Sophie is for advanced teething. It is harder and less flexible. Love these and prefer them over the Sophie the Giraffe toy which I also own. This just seems easier to grip and munch on, and there is no long leg that can gagg your little one.

Music for Little Mozarts: Plush Toy -- Clara Schumann-Cat

We love this series of instruction materials, and the dolls are really top notch in terms of quality materials and construction. They really do help to spark piano interest for young children!

I had the Beethoven Bear and the Mozart Mouse from the the "Music for Little Mozarts" Deluxe Starter kit. They were so absolutely adorable, I assumed the rest of the stuffed animals from that series would follow suit. I was very disappointed when I received Clara Schumann-Cat. It is really large compared to the other two. I guess it was my fault for not paying attention to the measurements. Anyway, I ended up just giving my Granddaughter all the stuffed animals I had bought. "Elgar the Elephant" was a disappointment too because of his size. I also thought that both these stuffed toys were not of the same quality in how they were made nor in the clothing they wore. I regret buying both of them.

I did hours of research looking for dolls online for my 19 month old twins for Christmas. I originally wanted Madame Alexander dolls since that's what I had for my first big baby doll. I decided to wait on them because they are so expensive and the doll I liked best was really too large for them right now.

After lots of looking (not happy with the appearance of any of the babies I saw in stores or on-line) I found these precious babies. I ordered the one with blue eyes for the blonde twin and one with brown eyes for the brunette twin.

When they arrived in the mail yesterday I was very pleased with them! SO pretty and such sweet faces. I love that they can suck their thumbs and you can actually put the bottle in their mouths. They also say that they are machine washable. The size is perfect for a toddler. They even have beautiful little eyelashes.

They won't get them until Christmas, but I know they'll love them. VERY happy with my investment! :)

This will be a Xmas gift so I have no idea how much fun it will be. But I'm sure it will be loved. The doll is sweet and very huggable. It seems to be very well made. It is soft and cuddly and just the right size for small arms. I took a chance and ordered two for two 2 yr old great granddaughters. I am very pleased with my purchase. The order came quickly, well packed and the dolls themselves are in their own packaging as well. All in all my experience so far has been a five. If those little girls at Xmas decide the dolls are not FUN I'll be sure to let you know.

The main problem with this doll is the skin tone: it is not a normal flesh tone, but very grayish and very unpleasant. And very different from the picture.

I couldn't believe my eyes :0 I felt something sharp while holding the doll I looked at the leg and to my surprise there was a zip tie poking out of where the silk meets the plastic of the leg! I thought it must just hold the doll down to the packaging and I just missed removing it??? Nope the zip ties are woven under the silk to keep the hands and feet on! On Both of my daughters dolls legs the zip ties are SHARP and have come through the silk;( My daughter loves to have her baby sleep with her and i was so sad that after Sants brought her, mommy had to take her away;( I know if she rubs against her she would CUT herself on her new BABY!!! SAD

Sassy Flip and Grip Rattle 2 Pack Developmental Toy

It was hard to find a simple rattle that would be easy for our baby to grab and manipulate. This one is great because she can grab it with one hand and then hold it with both at midline while shoving the round part in her mouth. My only issue with it is that water gets stuck inside the ball part after we rinse it off (it gets thrown on the floor alot), but in time, it does dry out.

These are colorful and fun. You do have to be very careful cleaning them. If you submerge in water, or even do a thorough rinsing, water will get into the clear ball part and never come out. Would have given this a 5 if not for the water leakage. Being able to clean a toy is a big factor with baby toys.

I purchased these for my 3 1/2 month old daughter. Of course, I am one who sterilizes her toys before I give them too her since she's at a stage where she puts everything in her mouth. Well I ran them under water and washed them baby dish liquid. Come to find out water and soap leaked into the ball part. There's no possible way of getting the ball apart unless you want to break it and the water stuck in there was going to eventually harbor bacteria. So, I just ended up tossing them in the trash. Waste of money and shipping.

My baby loves these rattles. She loves chewing on the handles and they clip easily to her stroller or play mat with plastic baby links. They are not too heavy for her to lift and she loves the patterns/ mirrors inside the balls.

The Carefree Cow is super cute and soft, perfect for baby & toddler, but if you have bought Mary Meyer Cheery Cheeks in the past, as I have, they are making them a lot cheaper now. They DO NOT weigh what Amazon has written: 14.4 oz, it's more like 7.7 ounces, so they are a lot lighter, not as much beans in them anymore, which is disappointing. They are also about 2 inches shorter than advertised and shorter than my lion that I bought a year and a half ago. It's too bad they are doing that now because they are really cute stuffed animals. Because they are lighter weight, they don't sit as well, either because they don't have as much in their bottoms & tummies. I bought the dog, too, and it's the same way.

I love this stacker, my daughter however is just kind of getting into it. She is 10 months and just pulls them off, even if we try to play with it together. The product is very well made and super cute. Really soft fabrics and each one has a little bit of a different texture.

This was a Christmas present for my son (he was about 1 yrs old when recevied) and he still plays with it at 18 mths. Wish he had this toy at about 6 mths, he would have liked it then too. I like it because it is soft and I have washed it on gentle/delicate cycle a few times and it is still holding up well (even though it doesn't say machine wash it was fine). He liked to teeth on the soft rings and likes pulling the rings on and off the stacker.

My 6 month old loves this toy. The high-contrast colors really catch his eye, and he loves to pull the hat into his mouth. He has started to realize that he can pull the rings off (and that they are great teething toys). He's not yet at the point where he puts rings back on, but I anticipate that he'll have fun with that too. Best of all, when he was just starting to learn to sit, it was a great toy for him to play with. It kept him upright and engaged and encouraged him to reach out his hands instead of balancing on them. I highly recommend this toy starting at around 5-6 months!

Miyim Simply Organic Lovie Blankie, 0-3 Months

We received "Giraffe" as he is lovingly called as a baby shower gift. He was the first toy my daughter showed interest in, and now that she is almost 5 months old, he is her absolute favorite. He goes to bed with her every night, and we can't make a car trip without him. He's small enough that there's no danger of her smothering herself (which could be a problem with regular size blankies), and the three corners which aren't his head are tied in knots that are the perfect size for "nomming" (i.e. shoving in one's mouth and slobbering on). The color does fade a bit in the wash, but given the all natural dying method miYim uses with all their toys, this isn't surprising. My daughter certainly doesn't care that he is no longer bright yellow, and structurally he has held up fantastically through many washes. We'll definitely purchase other toys from this company.

This has become our baby's favorite toy the one that goes everywhere she does. It's so soft and cozy, not too big or too small, and fun for her to chew on (which makes us especially glad that it's organic). The bunny looks more like a kangaroo (that's what we thought it was!), and has the sweetest, silliest expression. It's also a nice color of orangey pink not too bubblebum or "girly" (which is great, because I'm not a fan of pink myself). Another big plus: you can throw it in the washer and dryer. Couldn't be happier with it!

My baby is 9 months old. She has adopted this lovey and requires it to fall asleep. The ears of the bunny and the knotted corners of the blanket are perfect to keep her exploring hands busy while she eats and drifts off to sleep. It's soft but durable. She loves to rub it on her eyes when she is sleepy. I think it is the perfect size. It's small enough that I don't worry about it being in the crib with her overnight. At the same time, it's large enough for her to hold it up over her head in both hands and stretch. I don't know what we would do without this product!

I bought this for my baby because I wanted her to have a stuffed animal/blanket lovie combobut this was not a good choice. Though it is very soft and very cute, it's body (the "blanket" part) is just very very small (about the size of an adult's hand).

I bought this for my older child to give to our new baby. I liked that it was organic cotton and thought that the giraffe was cute. When I undid the packaging, I didn't like the way the giraffe head looked on the blanket--I can't describe it, but it just isn't that cute. My older child (2 years) loves The American Bear Company Baby Cozies which are small (maybe 8") loveys that have a stuffed animal head and a flat, easy to hold/chew on body. This is a fantastic wagon! I had searched the internet looking for the best wagon re: durability, comfort, capacity, price AND SAFETY. This is the only one that keeps your children securely in the wagon-providing a seat belt complete with between-the-legs strap. It handles very well both pulling and pushing, and takes corners without a hint of tipping. The handle stays upright when you're not moving and doesnt pinch little fingers. The area between the wheels and the wagon is large enough for fingers to pass freely without pinching either. The wheels are quiet, and the cup holders have been a big hit for my three kids. Although it technically seats two, all three of my boys, (ages 4, 3, and 1 yr) have ridden in it at the same time---and it was still easy to move! I love this wagon and strongly recommend it!

After doing much research to find the perfect wagon, we decided to buy this one for our 20 month old daughter. What a nice wagon! It assembled easily in a matter of minutes and the wheels are rubber which makes it a much nicer (and quieter) ride than the plastic wheels on other makes. We love the fact that this model has straps--this helps so that she doesn't try to stand up and keeps her more in place. The seats fold down to make use for other jobs if needed. The cup holders are a nice touch too. This wagon seems to be one that our daughter will have fun growing in to and be able to cart her toys around in when she gets older. It is not too big and klunky or too tiny--it seems to be just the right size. A good buy!

This wagon is awesome! The only problem I had with it though, is that the seats are hard and uncomfortable for little passengers. If you take the seat cover off of your baby swing, it fits perfectly into the wagon seat....even the seatbelt holes match up! I just ordered two matching swing covers from Graco. Now my baby can ride in and even doze off in his seat without hurting his back and head. Problem solved!

My daughter received this wagon for Christmas and we've both loved using it! I love that the wagon comes with seatbacks & seatbeats, it has 4 cup holders that are also designed to hold juice boxes. I am 5 feet 11 inches tall & the wagon's handle is just right height for pulling the wagon. What is also nice is that the 2 front wheels are on casters so that you can move the wagon around VERY easily.

I purchased the Grandparents "Little People" collection for my 16 month old son. Tiny Love Tiny Smarts Rattle Toy

I bought this for my daughter when she was an infant and she got far more use out of it than I ever anticipated. Not only was it a great rattle for when she was new and learning to grasp things, but it was a good teether, too (the orange petal part is soft plastic, while the pink petals are crinkly fabric). This was one of her favorite toys when she was an infant, and often other babies would gravitate towards it/play with it when they visited our house. When my daughter got older, it made a great musical instrument. She's nearly 2 now and will still play with it when she comes across it in her toy box. This flower is very colorful and attractive, and durable, too: after years of being shaken, dropped and chewed on, it still looks just as good as it did when I bought it. I liked this product so much I've even given it as a gift to several of my friends for their babies. I certainly recommend this product.

The rattle itself is exactly what I expected to receive. What I didn't expect is for the rubber edges around the flower, presumably where a teething baby would be chewing, to be dirty. It didn't come wrapped in any kind of bag or packaging, it was simply attached to the product cardboard with a twist tie. The fact it wasn't completely clean is not too big a deal to me because I actually bought it as a toy for my parrot and it did wipe clean almost completely; however, if I was giving this to a baby I would not be happy.

It was my daughter's first Valentine's Day this year, so I wanted to get her something to celebrate. I thought of getting a single rose, but she won't have any use for it. So I searched for "toy flower" and "baby flower" on Amazon, and had to pass up listings of clothing before I found this.

Perfect.

It wasn't red and it had that large bulb at the bottom for the rattle, but it was close enough. So I ordered it. My daughter loves it. She's about 6 months right now, so she constantly puts the flower rattle in her mouth. It's great, though, because the petal part is flat and small enough that it fits in her little mouth, and the texture allows her to bite down toothlessly on it hard without bother. It's actually got two layers of petal: one where it's fabric and the paper material inside makes a crinkling sound for her stimulation, and then the firmer portion that's more like a teether.

The stem is wide, but not too wide to prevent her from grabbing it with one hand.

She likes the sound of the rattle, though I found it kind of annoying. It's a little more high pitched than other rattles we have, but I'll tolerate it if she likes it, which it seems she does. She almost always grabs it when I put it near her.

Lamaze Fill Em Up Frog

When I purchased this item I thought it was going to be larger and able to hold more then just the toys that it comes with. I was hoping to store more of my son's bath toys in it. Unfortunately it is just large enough to hold the toys that it comes with.

Like all of the Lamaze items I have purchased this item is well made and my son has enjoyed it. He is just starting to figure out how to take the toys in and out of it. My one complaint would be that the Frog's mouth is fairly small and it is a bit hard for a baby to take the toys in and out as the fit is fairly tight.

If you are looking for a bath toy this is great, if you are looking for a place to store toys I would recommend you keep on looking.

Rainy Day Indoor Infant/toddler Swing Combo Kit

My son really likes this swing! It's very sturdy. He's 25lbs. I can do a pull up on the swing bar and it can easily hold my weight (180lbs). The only minor problem we had was that the swing smelled horribly like smoke. I emailed the company and they sent me a second swing that smelled like smoke plus Febreze at no cost. We let it air out in the garage for a week and the smell was gone.

I was disappointed when i removed it from the packaging and saw it. I knew it was a paper mobile, I just expected something a bit more sturdier, maybe a little thicker. It looks good but not worth the amount I paid for it.

P'kolino Geared Shape Sorter - Robot

I bought this for my 17 month old daughter, I think that maybe it is a little to difficult for her right now. She likes to play with it but whenever she tries to put the blocks through the holes she knocks the whole thing over and just gets frustrated. If she lays it down and plays she does better but then she gets frustrated because she has to pick it back up to find where the blocks went, plus at this point she hasn't figured out how the gears work for lining up the shapes, so if they get a little off she just tries to cram the shape in the hole and again gets frustrated when it doesn't work. I like the design of the toy but I just wonder if maybe she'll enjoy it a bit more once she is a little older and can find tune those skills a bit.

this is an EXCELLENT toy to teach ur child shapes. my son is currently 22 months and it is perfectly challenging enough for him! turning the gear also makes it more challenging. this keeps my kid busy for a long time.

This is a really cute shape sorter and the one that we settled on when looking for one for our 16 month old. It is absolutely adorable! Seems well made and it makes a satisfying "plunk" sound when the shapes drop through. It is a bit tricky for him to figure out right now and the gears turning make it even more challenging...which will be good for a long time! Definitely get this shape sorter, it is much more fun than the little cubes and such!

The front loading aspect is great for children that do not look at a traditional cube shape sorter. I work with autistic children that have a difficult time looking at the cubes and flipping the box around. This toy helps build skills for those more difficult ones by gaining experience with putting shapes in/observing the shapes. Also the shapes roll out so you don't have to take time to open the box, etc. I work with children with varying degrees of abilities and some love the spinning mechanism and trying to turn with the block to get the shape into the hole. There are ten blocks in this set. Two of each color: red, orange, yellow, green and blue. They are made of a soft, plastic/rubber and per Parents customer service, pvc and bpa free. This is important because, as you probably know, infants put everything in their mouths. They are soft enough that if your child falls on them or an older child throws one, they will not hurt your child. They stack well. My one and three year old seem to like them.

These are really great starter blocks. They are a soft rubber, they squeak when they are squeezed, are large and soft for little babies to hold onto but also stack as baby gets older. I bought them through a regular store and paid only ten dollars rather than the price listed here, which is excessive. I wish I had a few sets of them. The only down side is that if you have a dog that loves squeaker toys, your dog may love these blocks as well.

Our 8-month-old received this toy set for Christmas. It seems like a great idea, but the rubber is so soft I suspected it might contain PVC (or even BPA for that matter, although it's soft). There is no mention of this on the product packaging, nor can I find any information about it online. I wonder how a reviewer knows it definitely does not contain either of these chemicals...?

My 1 year old just received this toy for his birthday and after we've played with it for an hour now I'm perplexed to see all the negative reviews. The dog does a pretty good job of finding and following his bone. I could see how on carpeting or non-open spaces it might not do so well, but I'm wondering what everyone is comparing this to? By the way everyone is talking they've all got I, Robot units sitting at home serving them martinis. When I was a kid we had Teddy Ruckspin, so this is basically a miracle. There was some comedian who talked about people who complain about lack of wifi on flights. All he would say to them is "You're flying through the air at hundreds of miles per hoursomething that nobody else in the history of humanity has been able to do. It's a miracle of engineering, and you're complaining you can't check facebook while doing it?" Anyway, for $ I think it's a pretty fun, functional toy. To the detractors, I challenge any of you to explain how any element of this toy actually works.

My son got this Smart Pup for his 2nd birthday as he is hugely into dogs. It wasn't what I was expecting. The toy claims that it will follow it's bone but it does not. By the time a kid would know how to use the remote, they would already know their body parts.

Many of these reviews seem to be based on a grown-up's expectations, and I think that it's not considering the child's perspective which is what matters. Yes, it is absolutely fair to be disappointed that a clearly marked feature does not work as expected. Oh well. What matters is how does your kid like it? I got this as a hand me down from a friend whose daughter was afraid of it moving. I have a 4yo and a 1yo. The 1yo enjoys the remote most, but she definitely spends time playing with the puppy. I don't really think that this would help learn body parts, but it's nice. The nose button has a satisfying click that she loves. The 4yo will send the puppy in as a giant killer dog sent to destroy his lego/matchbox/block town. This thing has been dropped a fair share and it's still going. Fresh batteries help. Lighten up, it's a toy. This is not a reason to get all fired up.

I never write product reviews, but this one frustrated me enough to do so...

My wife wants to throw the toy out since it annoys her so much. Because it was a gift from my brother I decided to sit down and figure the toy out so I could defend it. Here are my findings:

1) The toy promises to "Find the Bone" which means locate where the remote is (presumably in your child's hand). In short, it doesn't. Ever. Even when the remote is directly in front of the child.

2) The slider on the remote appears to do nothing. All three buttons initiate roughly the same state. "Say things with song".

3) There is NO volume control, and it can get pretty loud.

4) When your child becomes bored and walks away, it will say something every six seconds! It does this four times before shutting off!

5) Some of the songs don't have words.

6) It repeatedly gets stuck, even when there is no logical reason why it should leave the wide open area and go towards furniture.

7) The "Learning" words aspect is weak at best. It knows... "Front Leg, Back Leg, Tail, Nose, Ear, and Head". It doesn't indicate Left or Right.

We ultimately allowed our son to keep the remote since he likes that part the best, and we'll be throwing out a brand new dog toy since there is no way to make it go silent and without batteries it is just another thing to trip over.

I'm sorry I'm so negative, as a tech geek myself; I would have loved to enjoy this toy with my son. Keep your $30 dollars and purchase something else.

This toy is SO annoying, but my 17 month old son loves it. The pup follows the bone for the most part, but not as well as the description makes it sound. I don't have any problem with this toy other than I wish I could turn down the volume haha!
