This looks to be a good product. Our 6 month old daughter likes it and our 14 month old nephew loves it. It is all plastic and hopefully it will stand up to the abuse that kids can give to the toys. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it looks like it will last for years, but only time will tell.

My son got it for his 4th birthday. He opened it, looked at it and set it aside. Disappointing. My son loves his fire trucks and tries to take them to bed (hard plastic clearly the better to knock himself out with). I thought a nice, soft fire truck (I thought it be 8". It's, like 2.5") would be ideal. Fortunately, my 2 y/o daughter adopted it.

The truck was much smaller than pictures. The noise it makes is annoying and it is not a soft toy with the large sound box inside.

Vehicles Wooden Picture Book

This is my son's favorite wooden book. It pictures a different vehicle on each page (car, train, tractor, truck, bike, boat, plane, and scooter). The simple pictures are colorful and captivating, yet not over-stimulating. And the wooden pages make it especially easy for my son to flip through on his own, while also offering a different tactile experience than other books. This little book always goes with us on outings, and is great for looking at in restaurants while waiting for the food to come. It doesn't take up too much space on the table, and if anything is spilled on it, the wood easily wipes clean. We love these little wooden books!

I actually bought this for my fiance. We LOVE monkeys, as he was born the Year of the Monkey. This "toy" does not get played with, but has a place in our bed. It is extremely soft and cuddly. If we had a child, this would definitely be a perfect cuddler for him/her.

Corolle Mon Premier Calin Naima Baby Doll

Finally, a doll that represents a baby of african decent by more than just color! Naima is beautiful, with her rich dark skin and her sweet tongue-y grin, she has larger lips than the other Calin dolls, and a flat, wide nose. It doesn't just stop there, take off her headband and look closely at her hair line and she has tiny little curls molded into the plastic.

Unfortunately like another reviewer mentioned, she does seem to be a little light on the stuffing. She is our fifth calin doll and she is by far the most floppy. When I get a chance I will be slipping the stitches on her back and stuffing some more fiberfill into her. I purchased this one because it was on sale, I wanted the one in the red outfit, though. This outfit did turn out to be cuter in real life.

I bought this doll for my daughters first birthday. She has another Corolle doll that she loves but I wanted to get her a dark skinned baby to love as well. Every time I would bring the picture up on the comuter she got so excited! Once we got it she was so happy to see the baby in person! It is a beautiful doll. I sort of wish it did not look like she was sticking her tongue out but that is not too big of a deal. I am sure this baby will be well loved by my daughter!

I bought this doll to replace the one my daughter lost. She loved it so much so we got the exact same doll she had before, but it seems lighter than her old one like it has less stuffing in it and her head is very loose and turns just with gravity. Her old one didn't do that. These things give me the feeling it is not as well made as the older version we had. I could be wrong though. If we hadn't had the older version, we would think this one was great.

we already own a Caucasian 'premier calin' corolle, and I thought it would be fun for my tot to have one of another race. I can't understand the decline in quality. Doll can't sit up unless head is in its lap. Clothes are of thinner material than other doll's.

Sending it back! I should have listened to other reviews. I am going to try buying the 'earlier model' of Naima thru ebay and see if it's better quality.

OK, so I should have updated. I did try to send the doll back, but the company, I think called Kaplan, refused to have it back and insisted on giving a refund, tho I told them it wasn't of unacceptable, merely disappointing quality. no, they said, have the money back and don't return the doll. So we kept it. Well, it's true that it's floppy with thin clothes. But i have to tell you that my daughter LOVES the doll, and I feel a bit weird about that, given that we ended up with it as a freebie! she invents stories about this doll all the time, took it to Europe (and she was only allowed to take one doll with her) etc etc. In general, she spends more time with her, and thinking about her, than with the Caucasian one. As for her flopping over, she just accepts that. And as for her clothes, my daughter prefers to strip the clothes off her dolls anyway, so she never has her clothed, and she doesn't even notice that. So there we have it! I can't say whether I'd buy another , say, as a gift, but clearly the doll has brought a lot of pleasure to my kid.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter. Here are some pros and cons...

PROS:

Price We have more expensive Corolle dolls, but we caught this one on sale.

Black doll It's hard to find a quality doll that is not white. There just aren't as many options out there.

Portable Unlike the 14 inch Bebe Charmeur, my daughter can carry this one around comfortably in her arms.

Pretty She is prettier in person than she looks on the web. We are pleased.

CONS:

Stuffing It IS light on stuffing, so she is floppier than the Charmeur doll. My daughter doesn't notice or care, of course.

Neck You can feel a neck bar through the stuffing. The Charmeur doll doesn't have this. I think it's weird.

Hair The hair color is airbrushed on. I would have preferred some painted hair, but maybe I am expecting too much.

For what we paid of her, I am totally satisfied. This is a good doll for a young child.

UPDATE: I did actually open her up and add some stuffing, which gives her a much better weight and feel. She was just too floppy. It only took 5 minutes to do this, but really, you don't expect to have to do this with a Corolle doll.

Playskool Busy Balls - Patterns & Colors

This toy has been a hit with our son. He has spent more time playing with these busy balls than with any other toy. He is now one year old, but has been tossing, rolling, and chasing them since about 5 months. These balls hold his attention for long periods of time.

They are very durable! Our son loves to tap them against the tile, watch them roll down the stairs and they have endured many rough landings. He also likes to feel the different textures. A few of the balls have parts that rotate different directions, so he enjoys exploring that feature too.

They are the perfect size for little hands.

I highly recommend this product.

These were actually one of the first toys I bought my son. Each ball has something different to entertain...as well as the usual rolling of the balls. There were some that he took to right away (he loved staring at the spinning one when he was itty bitty!). Others he's become interested in as he got older....but all of them he's of course loved rolling around.

My family owned this game when I was a small child. I have fond memories playing it with my Dad as a little girl, with my teenage friends in high school, and with my fiance when I was in college. IT IS THE PERFECT GAME FOR ANY AGE!! Recently on the search for family oriented games that I can play with MY children, I told my Mom, "What I really need is a game like downfall. They don't make games like that anymore." Well guess what? They do! This is a remade version of the original we owned. My Mom got it for us for Christmas! We love it! I can play it with my four and six year old children, or with my husband. It is intelligent enough for adults, simple enough for kids! I love that it is SHORT. No frustrating moving back and forth in candyland or counting spaces that my two yr old doesnt understand. This is a fantastic game to play with children that isnt exhausting! It fits my kids' attention span (and my patience). Easily a 10 minute game.

RULES: move one wheel one direction. Get all of your disks to the bottom. Easy, right? Even my two year old likes to turn the wheels and watch the disks fall into their slots. With her, I just use one side and let her turn the wheels until they reach the bottom. My 4 and 6 yr old can play the full version of the game easily, with me on one side and them on the other, both of us trying to get our disks to the bottom first. They delight in watching their disks drop and move as I turn the wheel on my side. It is especially educational for young children, as they have to use the key to turn the wheels and line up the disks, thinking through how to get them all to the bottom. And for adults, its just simple FUN! You never know where your opponent is at with their disks, and as you move your wheel, you might be helping or hindering their progress. FUN FUN FUN FOR ANY AGE!!!!

I was wondering if the new version would be as sturdy as the old, and I have to admit, it is NOT. I wish the stand was sturdier. They keys and disks and wheels themselves work great, my only complaint is that the tower itself needs a stronger base; it feels like it will tip if my kids push on it too hard. So I hold it for them. Adults shouldnt have problems though.

Western Diva Toddler / Child Costume

I ordered a costume on 9-26-09. I was charged for the product immediately. 2 weeks went by, and I hadn't recieved the product. I called Zoogster co. assured me it was on its way. Well a month went by, it still hadn't come. I try to call and the line is busy for hours. I finally talk to someone and they tell me they no longer have the product and he assures me he will refund the money. He did not have the athority to refund but he personally would take care of it. Well, I still haven't recieved my refund. I had to order the same product by another company and I already have it. It was a couple dollars cheaper too.

First off, I have to say I researched cowgirl costumes and this was the cutest I could find for my four year old girl.

When it came, she was thrilled with it. I, however was disappointed as it looked somewhat different than the picture and the quality of the fabric and stitching was lower than I'd hoped. The skirt in the picture shows light pink cow spots that match the top. On my daughter's version, the cow spots are a brighter fuschia pink, about 10 or more shades different than the top and the spots are bigger, which makes it look cheaper.

Oh well, I thought, my daughter loves it and didn't want me to send it back. It did fit her perfectly, which pleased me. She wore it twice and already the stitching is unraveling in places. I am disappointed because for the same price I have bought costumes at Costco and Old Navy that I know will hold up for years to come. This one looks like my daughter wore it every day for months. The fake "Leather" strings that hang down are unraveled and the satin top has water stains. I am afraid to wash it since I think it might just fall apart completely in the washer.

I think it's cute, but I wish it were much better quality.

My daughter loves this costume and has it as one of her favorite of all her play outfits. My main beef with it is that it does NOT last. you have to be an older baby (1 yr at least) to get a tiny bit of satisfaction from this. the vibration comes from biting down hard.....so, they need to have some strong teeth in order to do that. skip this product, and let your baby suck on a cold washcloth :)

This is a great product however you can get this much cheaper at Walmart. I found it for $5.50 at our local Walmart and I've seen it on Amazon for as much as $17.00. If you look it up at walmart it says "prices may vary" but it's much cheaper!

This is a great product, but I got it at Target for way less than on here I'm thinking $6. It's an awesome teether. When the baby bites down, it vibrates. That plus the built-in handle makes it a fantastic teether choice for the car -he doesn't drop it, yay! And apparently it feels really good on his gums, as he always takes this toy when offered and bites on it right away to start the vibration. The teether is durable; does not show any signs of wear yet. The battery has also lasted a long time -6 months since we bought it and it's still going strong. This one might even be better than the refrigerated kind. Totally recommend.

Learning Curve Spinning Rattle

This rattle is absolutely wonderful. It is the perfect size and weight for little hands learning to grasp things. I would recommend it for any baby.

This rattle was one of the few that my son could actually grasp and keep ahold of when he was just a couple months old. Most of the others we tried were too large or too heavy for his little hands.

I would definitely recommend for 1-3 month old babies. However my 4 month old has little to no interest in it anymore. That's the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars. But, since there are few toys out there geared towards tiny babies, this one was a good 2 month investment!

I purchased this teddy bear for my daughter as a back up. When she was born my husband bought her this bear at the hospital. It's been loved on and washed so much that I had to get another for her just in case.

She loves her teddy and takes him eveywhere we go. Not to mention that she sleeps with him also. It's very soft and very sweet.

My daughter received this teddy bear from a friend of ours when she was born, still in the hospital. It's her favorite to this day (she's almost 15 months). I just bought a second for her daycare. It's sort of held up through a couple trips through the washing machine, but I'd recommend having a couple bears on hand.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Camera

I got this for my son's first birthday. He loves it, we take it with us everywhere. It's a great toy to keep him entertained in the car, the cart in the grocery store, or in the stroller. The songs are really adorable.

We got this as a gift when our twins were only around 3 months old and they continue to play with it even now at 11 months. It is durable, small enough to pack in a diaper bag or small travel bag, and the sounds will hold a childs attention. The voice/songs are not overbearing and the sound has two levels so you don't have to have it very loud.

It's a good toy to put in the crib/pack & play if you need them contained yet occupied too...we often will put this in with one or both of our twins if we need to walk away for a minute and they always will quietly play with this Laugn & Learn Camera.

Its a nice addition to the toy box, but not a must have.

I thought maybe it was just my camera but when I checked out others at the store the ladies voice on the camera she speaks with a lisp. Not that there is anything wrong with someone with a lisp but for a child trying to learn this is kind of hard. I actually caught myself singing the song with the lisp included. My 2 yr old really enjoys playing with this toy. It is easy to take apart and put back together. The animals are thick but light and very well painted. It's too hard for him to really sort the shapes by putting them back in the pre-cut holes, however, because you can pretty much get any piece to fit in any hole. Also, because there are holes cut all over the boat, when it is filled with animals and you carry it around, the animals fall out easily. How we play with it now is to put all the animals in a pile, I find one, then I tell him to find the other. He likes playing with the toy that way. Then he also lines them up into rows. He loves the animals, but the boat doesn't get much use.

The music is clear and not too loud. Fabric is soft and not itchy. It is a bit larger than I thought it would be. The picture of the product shows it's full length when the string is pulled and let go to play. after it is done playing, the bottom stripped section disappears. Also the frog is very girthy. Over all this is a great item. I just wished I knew how big it was before I bought it.

1.2.3 Moon Rocket

I actually bought this toy to use as a cake topper for my son's 3rd birthday cake, not expecting much more than that. To my pleasant surprise, it has become one of his favorite toys! My 2 year old grandson has had a long lasting fascination with rockets. Got this for his 2nd birthday. Oh my what a huge hit. I can't tell you how many, many hours of fun he has had with this. I love it because it's simple. No bells or whistles, batteries, flashing lights or electronic sounds. Just imagination! Got this for my son as a little surprise at the end of the Easter Bunny Egg Trail on Easter morning. He was so excited when he saw it that he forgot about all the candy in the eggs (Thank you!). Lil Characters Unisex-baby Newborn Monkey Costume

We bought this as a costume for our 5.5 month old for his 1st Halloween. BOYhe was ADORABLE in it. The costume is really easy, it comes with a pajama fullcover outfit which snaps open and closed at the bottom. The hat is cute and has a velcro attach at the chin. My son was really comfortable and happy in it. The material is really thin and so if you are taking your baby out and its cold, I would def recommend another layer underneath. Depending on how old and how big your baby is, the head piece will either be snug or loose. It also washes and dries really well.

Overall, we had so much fun and we kept it. Loved this costume for the fun and price.

Purchased this costume because it said newborn and I assumed it would fit my daughter. I see now that the size says small at the end of the title but it's a little misleading. My daughter is a 3month size right now so the costume is big because it's 6-12 months but she still looks cute in it anyway so we are going to keep it. It's a very light material so be prepared to put layers underneath if you live in a cold area like I do. Other than the sizing issue the costume is adorable and looks cute on my daughter.

Disney Princess Bath Books ~ Set of 2 (Busy Day & Good, Bad, Happy, Sad)

Disney products are usually so great. These are not. I didn't necessarily expect a full "story" here, but I guess I expected more. AND the princess characters are either cooking or cleaning. I guess if you want your daughter not to strive to be something like a doctor or a lawyer and you want to enforce traditional gender roles then this would be fine.
