CASHFLOW 202

CASHFLOW 202Ok I know this is in the product description but it is worth repeating: you must have Cashflow 101 to be able to play Cashflow 202. I say this with a double meaning. You need the board, game pieces, and score cards from 101 but also and more important you need the knowledge and foundation from 101 before you try 202. Get 101 first and play through it until you can consistently escape the Rat Race within a couple of hours. Then when you are ready for a challenge get 202.

The basic game play is the same but 202 introduces many new concepts and some twists that make for a challenging game. I have had 202 for about a year and a half now and whenever we play Cashflow (my wife and I play once a month) we always want to play 202. At first it was extremely challenging but now I am to the point where I can usually escape the Rat Race fairly quickly in 202.

Big Deal and Small Deal cards have been replaced by Cashflow Deal and Capital Gains cards.

New Capital Gains concepts include: starter houses, vacant land, put options, call options, short sale of stocks.

New Cash Flow concepts include: network marketing, royalty income, REIT shares, 1031 real estate exchanges.

The Market is MUCH MORE VOLATILE in Cashflow 202.

Stocks: The ON2U and MYT4U companies will go BANKRUPT and all shares become worthless. The stocks will SPLIT. The stocks will REVERSE SPLIT.

Real Estate: Your rents per unit can INCREASE or DECREASE by $50 per month PER UNIT depending on what the market does. You can LOSE your property due to LANDSLIDES or maybe the Airport wants to take over your land.

The game teaches you how to make money in spite of (or because of) this volatility!

The Doodads are BRUTAL in 202.

You could draw a Doodad that requires you to pay $10K down PLUS make monthly payment PLUS increase your OTHER expenses.

There are a few new concepts on the Fast Track such as franchising your business or being forced to sell your business but for the most part the big changes are it is much more of a challenge to escape the Rat Race.

If you enjoy playing Cashflow 101 and are up for a challenge definitely try Cashflow 202.

Have fun, and good luck!

Great way to learn about technical stock trading, ie puts, calls, and shorts. Just to focus on that, for one game we took out all the cards that weren't related to stock trading. That play round really made the stock trading make more sense. Great way to learn about obtaining capital gains and increasing cash flow.

Buy CASHFLOW 202 Now

There is not much more to say but it's a great reference and information that'll help me and mine move ahead.

This is a very educational game that teaches you how to invest and the world of finances. Robert and his team did an outstanding job creating a game such as this one.

Want CASHFLOW 202 Discount?

The game was purchased for family and friends. It was a hit. The games requires some accounting skills that most investors would find necessary going forward in their financial independence. The game is colorful enough to attract both young and old players. It may be considered more of an educational tool and everyone seems to learn from it.

I would highly recommend it.

Fisher-Price Miracles and Milestones - Musical Panda

Fisher-Price Miracles and Milestones - Musical PandaMy 5mo old son loves this toy. The flashing light on the ladybug can really keep him entranced. The music is nice and it alternates between a giggle and then one of 3 songs (Bear Went over the Mountain, Teddy Bear Picnic, and one other). My only complaints are the fact that they have to pull the green toy, which is harder to grip than the spinning ball, and that it is kind of long, so it's hard to hang on the crib, and still be able to pull the toys.

It's a great toy, with just a few flaws, but easily one of my son's favorites:)

We had this toy since my daughter was 2-3 months old. First we suspended it from the center of her play gym no other toy was as interesting. The giggles and short tunes that emanate from the toy are uplifting to baby and parents alike. Once my daughter started crawling and ignored the play gym we transfered the toy to her crib. To this day, at 13 months she still tugs on it. The only downsides are that the toy is a little heavy, the ties are short, and the tunes run for just a few seconds. Other than that the toy is very nice.

I purchased the Miracles and Milestones Panda for my 4 month old baby for car rides and she loves it! It really distracts her and calms her down! I only wish the music played for longer so I don't have to continue to pull the string! But it is well worth it!

Tolo Toys Baby Concerto

Tolo Toys Baby ConcertoI have to admit that I like Tolo toys. They are always made with high quality materials that last well and the electronic noises are realistic too. This musical toy plays 5 tunes, either one at a time or by pressing the demo button you can play all 5 in a row. The teddy dances around to the music which my 12 month old finds fun to watch when she's in her high chair. You can also switch to piano mode where the 5 buttons play a different note each.

I can't fault the toy really, but whether it is worth $25 is questionable.

I was surprised to read the negative reviews on this toy. It was both my daughter's and son's favorite toy at 1 year of age, so naturally I thought to buy it for my nephew's first birthday. It is still in perfect condition and plays beautifully. Yes there are less expensive pianos with a lot more features, my kids have those too. But honestly all of those features are superfluous for a toddler and have the tendency to drive parents crazy (who needs to hear a kid pounding on a piano board with horn sounds and a back up drum beat?). This toy is worth the extra money.

Buy Tolo Toys Baby Concerto Now

I'm writing a review because I was disappointed to see the others. Yes, it's expensive, but it's a fantastic toy. Both our kids loved it, and I handed it down to my niece. What's great is that it makes is a gentle, chime sound instead of the louder and more electronic noise many other toys make. It plays some classical tunes on its own with the bear moving, and it can also be switched to a mode where the child can play it like a piano. It's a do, re, mi, fa, sol scale --enough to be able to pick out a few basic songs. I was looking at it here because I'm considering it as a gift for friends with a newborn. So maybe at this price it's more of a gift kind of toy --a luxury.

Swimways Baby Spring Float with Canopy - Blue Aqua Whale

Swimways Baby Spring Float with Canopy - Blue Aqua WhaleWe bought one of these (in store) floats. My son was a bigger boy for his age (30lbs at 1yr) and we kept having problems with all the other plastic floats with canopies, so we went and bought this exact float. It is totally worth the money. The net lining is awesome and its way more durable than other floats! 100% recommend this float!

I don't know why someone would rate it one star based on their bad luck with design that is the sellers fault not the actual product.

If your child is very young, small, and flails about harmlessly, this is for you. If your kid is abnormally large, independent, and strong, you're better off with floaties or they will work their way out of it and getting them back into it is like trying to push a cat into a toilet. Quality is great, it has held its air in the trunk of the car for 2 seasons now and cushions whatever cargo we put back there.

We used this in the pool and our grandson really enjoyed the shade and the floating. Our only concern was he sat low enough in the water to dip his face into the water for a "drink" and quickly discovered inhaling water isn't fun! Easy to inflate and set-up, a bit of a pain to take down and return to the carry bag. As advertised and seems sturdy enough for several pool seasons.

My mother in law purchased this for our 6 month old. He is about 26 in long, if he were smaller he wouldn't have been able to sit in it yet and be high enough above the water. He has loved baths since the first one and we wanted to introduce him to the pool as soon as possible. He loved floating around, and was able to kick himself around to move between us. The shade worked really well without blocking our view of his face. He liked that he was able to splash a little in the mesh between the floats. That was also a great place to put his toys within his reach. Recommend as a good way to help introduce a baby to the water.

Want Swimways Baby Spring Float with Canopy - Blue Aqua Whale Discount?

This float is horrible! The canopy was so hard to fold back up and put in the carrying case it comes with. We must have done it wrong because it never fit quite right on the float again. The float was also disappointing. It doesn't keep baby upright so my 11 month old kept leaning forward & his face kept ending up in the water. Waste of $. We ended up getting the Aqua Leisure Frog with Sunshade and Aquarium Baby Float, which was only $11. My son loves it and it keeps him up right so he's not swallowing pool water.

Disney Baby: Winnie the Pooh Large Plush by Kids Preferred

Disney Baby: Winnie the Pooh Large Plush by Kids PreferredMy daughter LOVES this Pooh! We had a collection of stuffed animals around her room and when she was about 8 months old she randomly picked her Pooh Bear out of a pile and they've been buds ever since! She loves to wrap her arms around him and give him a big squeeze. The only problem is that this Pooh Bear isn't machine washable, not even hand washable. I don't know what I'm going to do when he gets extremely dirty! Why can't they make this Pooh Bear washable? So, while this toy may make your child extremely happy, I don't know if it will be worth the tears down the road when he gets dropped in a mud puddle and has to make his way to the trash.... : (

It might be okay as a display toy. It's definitely not for playing as it is not machine washable, not even by hand. The instructions say to wipe off the surface when it gets dirty.

Prince Lionheart Bike Stand, Natural

Prince Lionheart Bike Stand, NaturalI bought this to hold up my son's Prince Lionheart Balance Bike, but it just keeps falling over. It's not sturdy enough to hold it up.

This product is a pretty big disappointment. Prince Lionheart products have been a favorite of ours in the past and we adore our Prince Lionheart balance bike however, this bike stand pales in comparison to their other products. The Bike stand is in three pieces that do not fasten together securely and, the slot for the bike wheel which is supposed to fit "most Prince Lionheart bikes" is too narrow for the wheel to fit in!!! Consequently we have had to sand away at it and it still does not work great. :(

My three year old has a hard time getting the bike to stay up in the stand without help. It must be up against a wall and the front tire has to be shoved in by an adult for the bike to stay up. Stand itself is not very sturdy. For the price it works good enough.

Spin Around Sit and Spin

Spin Around Sit and SpinPurchased this product for my 2 year old at the recommendation of my daughter's occupational therapist. It is made very well and I like that it does not have any bells and whistles (ie flashing lights or sounds). Would definately recommend this product to another parent.

This is the same kind of basic sit-n-spin we grew up with in the 70s. There are no bells or whistles as in the interactive ones. No TV character marketing. For our kids this is just fine and just as fun. The spin how and when they want. Our children were able to use this as young as 16 mo.

Buy Spin Around Sit and Spin Now

I got this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I chose it after reading the bad reviews on the Sit-n-Spin. This toy spins beautifully, even on carpet, no goofy characters on it like Dora or Diego. A+++ from this family!

Read Best Reviews of Spin Around Sit and Spin Here

I bought this after looking at the reviews for the Sit n Spin.(the real Sit n Spins don't get great reviews) I chose this particular model because it was like the Sit n Spins used to be when I was a kid-I loved them, surely my children would love it too. They do like it. In fact, sometimes they fight over who gets to ride it! (Guess I should have bought 2)

To me, it's not as fast as they used to be (or maybe it wasn't that good then but I was a kid and it was cool anyway), it's not very good on carpet but then I'm not riding it. (Please let me know when an adult size is available :) )

Overall, it is a toy that my kids really like and really I would purchase again.

UPDATE: All the fighting over it took it's toll. They broke the column that links the handle to the seat dispint the durablity (I have really rough children). So I called Kaplan, to see about a replacement part. They were so great that they sent me a BRAND NEW ONE!!! They didn't even charge me shipping. I would definatley recommend this item and Kaplan Learning Company.

Want Spin Around Sit and Spin Discount?

When my children were small in the mid-late 70's I bought them the toy then known as a Sit N Spin, one of the very best toy investments I ever made. There is a similar product out now but has an oval seating area that does not work nearly so well as the original so my daughter and I have searched for something closer to the old product. This is it! I bought this for my 15 month old grandson, anticipating that he would take some time learning to "spin" it; he has grasped the concept very well already and is having great fun with it. His older sister, age 4, is having even more fun and the two can sit and spin together, if arranged just right. Excellent toy, much fun, and teaches coordination...and sharing!

Tomy International John Deere Green Shape Sorter

Tomy International John Deere Green Shape SorterI bought this for my son for his first birthday. I love that it has 9 diff shapes and that its john deere. My son absolutely LOVES it. He carries it around, dumps all the shapes out and then puts them back in the sorter. He hasnt learned how to put the shapes in the right place yet, but he know thats what you are supposed to do so he will bring it to me and I will put it half way in and let him push it the rest of the way and he thinks thats awesome. I highly recommend this sorter!!

This is an adorable shape sorter but as soon as I unwrapped it from shipping the plastic handle that looked intact snapped in two places. This was really disappointing but did not make it useless. I created a new handle with some green and yellow grosgrain ribbon I had and it worked well. Otherwise a great toy.

We researched other name brand shape and sort toys and this John Deere brand came out on top. My daughter loves the colors, and she loves to bang the shapes together. She is too young at this time to actually put the shapes in their correct hole, but I know it will be great for her. The lid stays on, but is easy to remove as well. She likes the handle so she can carry it around like a bucket as well.

Amscan First Birthday Boy Sailor Hat

Amscan First Birthday Boy Sailor HatThis giant hat is not sized for a one-year-old. It also came to me very wrinkled and frayed in the wash. It is also white with a very faint blue whalewhich is not visible in pictures. Absolute waste!

I know one other reviewer said it was a lighter blue than shown, but it's not even close!! While the picture shows a royal blue design that might have been done with a fabric marker, the actual product has an embroidered design of the same general layout. It is a sky blue that I'm not sure will show up on pictures, and the whale's belly and water spout are light gray/white. It's cute, just not very visible on the white background of the hat. The colors are what attracted me to this hat in the first place. So disappointed; wanted my son's first birthday to be wearing this for some cute pictures. Will either have to hit this with a fabric marker myself or buy something else for the color I wanted!

Aurora Plush Baby 14 inches Fleecy Friend Bear

Aurora Plush Baby 14 inches Fleecy Friend BearWhen my son was born, my father bought him his first bear at the hospital gift shop. After about 10 months, my son's bear began to show sins of wear. I decided to look for a replacement bear. I could not find a similar bear anywhere. I decided to try Amazon. To my surprise, I found it. I bought him one and within a few days he was running around the house with his two bears. I decided to buy him another one so that he can have one in his crib, one to play with, and another to take with his babysitter. He loves all three of them.

Wooden Butterfly Puzzle 7" by Goki

Wooden Butterfly Puzzle 7' by GokiMy 2-1/2-year-old LOVES this puzzle! It's a step up from her much-loved chunky wooden puzzles. The first time she tried it, it threw her for a loop because the curves on the pieces have to line up and the pieces have to fit in the layers. It also has pieces that are thinner and more delicate, so she has to use her fingertips to handle them and make them fit (as opposed to just grabbing a chunky puzzle piece with her entire hand). She tried it again and again and figured out how it works pretty quickly. She loves doing this puzzle over and over because it's so different from the others. She will be getting the fish version of this puzzle as a gift in the near future.

4 wooden butterfly puzzles stacked in one package.

4 different sizes,ranging in 2,3 and 4 parts for a puzzles.

bright colors. A game that promotes thinking and coordination.

Munchkin Baby Sea Turtles Bath Toy, 3 Pack

Munchkin Baby Sea Turtles Bath Toy, 3 PackAt first we loved these, because our baby loved these. Then we noticed that within a month, the paint has started coming off because she was putting these things in her mouth. This toy is not appropriate for babies.

We like the turtles, didn't realize they have magnets in their nose and tail, so the stick to my tub. They really don't collect water, except the turtle with the spinner can hold a little water till you turn it over. Though they are quite hard, but we like them. Toys that mom can just throw in the bath toy bag are a bit hit in this house.

North American Bear Baby Cozies - Circus Cozy Lion

North American Bear Baby Cozies - Circus Cozy LionThis lion is adorable and holds up amazingly well! Most importantly, my 8 month old loves it! He sleeps with it every night and, because it's small with no stuffing, I don't worry about it nearly so much as I would a blanket or a stuffed animal. We've washed it MANY times and you can't tell it at all it's holding up really well. We bought 2 just to have a back-up for when one is in the wash.

In regards to "Shelley" who complained about it being too small, I feel a need to comment. So let me say that it is immensely irritating when people give a product poor reviews simply because they didn't bother to read the basic information provided regarding sizes, quantities, etc BEFORE purchasing. If the product is inferior, by all means, rate it as such. People should not, however, give out low ratings simply because they didn't take time to read the details listed clearly under "Product Description." If Shelley had done this she would have noticed that, among other points, the size of 8 inches is noted. READ people!!!

*Update: We have now been using our lions for over two years. This lion is still our son's only lovey and he sleeps with it *EVERY* time he goes down. Despite the constant (ab)use and washing, they both still look great and we have had no problems with fuzz coming off, ripping seams, etc. GREAT product!

We received this as a small gift from a friend's mom when my daughter was born four years ago. Since then, Lovey the Lion has been at her side day & night. We had no intention of letting her become so attached to a toy, but when it came to Lovey, there was no arguing with her. He became her instant favorite. Even at four years old, she sleeps with this lion every night. He gets washed weekly with her bedding, but even after all this time he feels just like new when he comes out of the dryer. No holes, no fuzz wearing off. He's a true friend for life!

Boon Odd Duck

Boon Odd Duck - JaneI bought Odd Duck Jane a couple of months back, she was the extra $5 I needed to spend to get free shipping on an order, and I was intrigued by the idea of a bath duck that didn't contain PVC. It seems almost all bath toys 'rubber' ducks especially are made of PVC. So, while most of our bath toys are unconventional, we do have the obligatory vinyl ducks made by the untrustworthy company Schylling. When my daughter developed a strong attachment to our scary vinyl ducks and wanted to carry them all over the house, I figured it was time to pull Jane out and give her a try.

She was an immediate hit: My daughter passed off all the old yellow ducks in favor of this brightly-colored, excitingly decorated alternative, and she's been carrying Jane around the house for days now. She's also been for a few swims in the bath without the leakage problem others have spoken of, so I guess we got lucky on that count. Jane measures about 4" long, has a weighted bottom so she will float nicely in water, and is even able upright herself if she is knocked over. Which is pretty cool; you'll never find her doing that dead-duck-on-her-side thing. She has a rigid non-pliable head and beak, and her body is somewhat squishy, though less so than a traditional PVC duck.

I noticed, on first opening the packaging Jane came in, an odd smell. Sort of like an uncapped Sharpie, and I immediately flipped her over to look for the recycling code. Nothing. No details on what plastic she's made of on the packaging either. Luckily the smell faded, and I who am extremely sensitive to smells can no longer detect it. Consider that I'm paranoid, so that's actually a point in this toy's favor.

I did, however, want to know what kind of plastic they made this toy out of since it is phthalate-free and PVC-free, so I asked.

Boon ducks are made of Styrene Ethylene Butadiene Styrene (SEBS), a subtype of synthetic rubber that was created by the Shell Oil Company in the 1960's and is marketed under the trade name Kraton-G (there's actually a Wikipedia article on this). It's used in everything from tires to medical devices and gloves, and of course increasingly in toys as a PVC alternative. Its main benefit, of course, being that it is pliable but does not require the use of the dangerous plasticizers that are used in the manufacture of soft PVC. It is known to have a strong odor, as I can attest, but Greenpeace in a 1996 article stated it was a viable and safer alternative to PVC. It does seem to be a safer alternative so far as we know at this time though I'm surprised how little real data exists on it, whereas you can find a wealth of information on many more commonly-used plastics. The Material Data Safety sheet documents this plastic as a low hazard in all areas.

While I don't think it's wise to trust a company (particularly one with China manufacturing Odd Ducks *are* made in China, like most things) just because they say that a product is minus known toxins (not all alternative plastics are created equal), in this case the alternative seems to be an improvement over the current standard.

The duck herself is sweet, and I'm glad to have a potentially less toxic option available, as bath duckies seem like one of those 'must-have' toys for little kids. I can certainly see collecting the others in the future, and would based on all current information available recommend these ducks to anyone wanting a safer bath toy for their children.

**UPDATE**:

We now own all the ducks (my youngest has taken a particular liking to them), and so I thought it would be worthwhile to comment on a few things.

1. The best floaters are Jane (pink) and Slim (blue). These ducks will always right themselves if tipped, and thus never float on their backs. Bob(orange) tends to float with his bill in the air, at a slight backward angle, and Squish (yellow) floats with his bill toward the water, at a slight forward angle. Both Bob and Squish can be upended, but Bob will most often right himself. With Squish it takes a bit more activity to upend him, but once he tips over, he's a back-floater.

2. The first Bob we ordered had completely separated from the weighted disk on his base during shipping. I'm confused, however, as to how some people's ducks filled with water underneath, as Bob's underside is still sealed. Nonetheless, Bob only floats on his back when he is minus-the-disk, so we wrote Boon and sent them a photo of our defective Bob (after all, my three-year old had actually done chores to earn money for Bob, and he's not cheap for a little duck). Boon's response was prompt, friendly, apologetic -and three days later a new duck arrived on our doorstep. So anyone who hesitates on the premise they might get a faulty duck? Fear not. Document it, and send it to Boon. This is one company who will stand by their products -and that is worth the extra money. Unlike a company(ex. Schylling) who I emailed about a defective product two months ago and *never* received a response from.

Bob has been a great tub toy for my soon-to-be 10 month-old. He "paddles" very smoothly and swiftly in the water, is fun to watch while twirling with the funky orange lines, and my son loves holding him down in the water and watching him pop up to the surface. Bob also gets chewed on quite a bit since my son's teething, so I like the fact that he's free of BPA, phthalates, PVC. We haven't had any issues with smell, or water getting in Bob. Definitely a good buy, and we'll be adding another Odd Duck to the menagerie of bath toys at birthday time!

Though cute, this duck had a strong, persistant smell to it and immediately filled with water that we could not get out yucky ducky!

I bought this duck, because I wanted something non toxic for my child. We have the yellow one. The looks are good, however the bottom is not a solid surface; the center part is not glued suficiently on the sides, alowing water in. Before using it I put some silicone in the crack to seal it, so will see, how it will work for us. The duck doesn't float straight. The head is half sank in water very poor design.

I was looking forward to the Boon Odd Duck, but now realize it's packaging has to improve. While it uses a clamshell design, the bottom of the duck was exposed to the elements. Mine arrived dirtied, damaged & the bottom orange circular plastic was about to fall off. My kid's prying fingers would have just finished the job and pulled that part off the main body of the duck with ease. Why they designed it in this way for a rubber toy is beyond me. Plus the orange circular plastic was just held together with what appears to be glue.

Furthermore the duck appeared discolored & 'used'. I am very disappointed with this product.

Nice, but small..... maybe too small. I like the cotton, the design and the feel. If made bigger I would love it even more.
