Maison Chic 17" Hot Pink Chunky Cord Giraffe Toy

Maison Chic 17' Hot Pink Chunky Cord Giraffe ToyI thought the price was a little high on this guy, but decided to buy anyway because he is so cute. My 8 month old daughter loves him there are several different textures on him (the photo doesn't do this justice) for her to enjoy, not just the corduroy body, but the sweater legs and the knit feet, and the textured nose. His long body size and legs are also fun for a kid. Overall, I think he was worth the splurge.

I love these products by Maison Chic. They make wonderful gifts. I have purchased several of their products for baby gifts. love them!! SO cute!!

Gund Huxley 20" Brown Bear

Gund Huxley 20' Brown BearI received this beautiful jointed bear only to discover that the bear's joints did not work and the bear could not be posed so I returned it to Caught By Surprise where I ordered it from. The problem was due to bad Chinese manufacturing practices. Initially I gave Caught by Surprise a 3 star rating as I was so disappointed with the bear's functionality, but now, after they responded with my complaint promptly with sensitivity and professionalism, I want to give them a higher rating.

Very soft. Seems well made. got it for my newborn so I still don't know how it will hold up to toddler bashing ;)

Walking Duck Toy - a fun wooden toy

Walking Duck Toy - a fun wooden toyMy 3 year old saw this in a store and wanted it. I surprised him with it for his 3rd birthday and he absolutely loves "Quackie". He takes great pleasure in watching the duck walk down the plank, and some fine motor skills are involved in setting up the plank and placing the duck in the proper position for it to walk down. It's terrific that it's wooden, simple, no batteries, no plastic, no bright ugly colors. Just a simple wooden walking duck. Super duper toy!

Fisher-Price Roll-a-Rounds: Touch 'N Tickle Rounds

Fisher-Price Roll-a-Rounds: Touch 'N Tickle RoundsI wanted to buy balls for my 9 month old. I went crazy and bought all the Fisher Price "roll arounds". In that case save your money. You do not need all of them, your baby won't miss anything if she only gets one set. that being said these are probably the best buy of the all. she likes the colorful tags and the bumpy texture on them. There is one that. has different panels of materials that she hasn't really discovered yet. My baby plays with them off and on but they aren't her favorite. I think I find them more interesting than she does. They are made of very hard plastic. If she falls or lays on them they of course aren't very comfortable. I thought at firs Ii would include them in her ball pit. I quickly changed my mind when she hit me on the side of the face and it hurt quite a bit! I wouldn't want the kids to throw them at each other or fall on them. She likes to put them in her mouth. I'm sure they each feels different . They each have different textures. I think when she starts to roll them around she'll find the more interesting and fun to play with. A couple of them in this set make a chime noise when they are rolled or shook. I wouldn't say they are a waste of money and not to buy them. I just thought she'd be more entertained then she is. However, she might when she gets older.

I have a very physical learning 1 year old. He's stimulated by all different textures and noises. These balls are great and keep him busy for a while. They are probably best for a child in the 6 month-12 month range, but my 12 month old is getting a lot of use out of them.

Fisher-Price Walker-To-Wagon

Fisher-Price Walker-To-WagonWe bought this for our 9-mo. old son, who is now 12 mos. old. He loved it from the start, and still plays with it. It is stable enough that he can pull himself up without the walker tipping over--he can actually walk all around it, holding on to the handle from different angles, without it tipping.

I don't understand the reviewer here who complained of "sharp parts" and not enough room for legs/feet when configured as a walker. Our son is big for his age, and he has no trouble walking comfortably behind the walker. (In fact, our 4 year old has no trouble, either.) As for "sharp parts," there are none. This is a perfectly safe toy.

Bottom line: both our kids love it, and they play with the various spinning balls, flip-over pieces, etc. We're very happy with the toy, and after comparing with other available walkers, we think this one offers a great value for what you get.

Our son is 10.5 months old and just learning to stand and cruise; he can pull to standing and cruise along furniture. We bought this so he can hold onto it while learning to walk. The wheels, however, spin far too easly. When he uses the handle to pull himself up the wheels spin forward (unlike a stable piece of furniture), and when I stand him at the walker the wheels move far too quickly and easily for him (he'd fall if I let go of him). I think it would be good for children who already walk, but not for children just learning to balance/stand/walk. If it were billed properly I'd have given it a higher ranking, but it falls short of its purpose for us. We'd like it if the wheels were more difficult to push, or had varying degrees of difficulty. I see other reviewers seem to be using it for the purpose we'd like to so it's hard to tell what, if anything, is different. My husband is now going to try to rig it so the wheels turn less easily, but I wouldn't recommend this toy for a child just learning to stand/balance/cruise/walk.

As far as its other features: all okay, but nothing new. I wouldn't buy this just for the shape sorter, for example, though the shape sorter is just fine. The do-dads to flip and play with are fun and fine as well, but not worth buying a walker/wagon for. All in all, I think it has good features (toys) for pre-walkers, and it would be a good wagon or walker for those who already balance well and perhaps walk some.

Buy Fisher-Price Walker-To-Wagon Now

My twins like the doodads on this walker, the flip pages, the twisty knob and the spring thingy. As a walker it does move a little fast. My daughter had no problems with this, but my son did. I guess every baby is different, but he would end up falling a lot because it got away from him. Now, as we have just converted it to the "wagon" feature, it seemed like it was going to be great, but the handle FALLS to the floor!! I don't know why they couldn't make it so the handle would stay up. It is very frustrating for my kids. For some reason they have trouble bending down to pick the handle up and then pulling it. Also, because the handle lays on the floor, it takes up a lot of room!! Anyway, it's okay. I think I would get something different if I had to do it over again.

Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Walker-To-Wagon Here

I got this toy for my one year old daughter. She was very amused by it intially. She still enjoys pushing and pulling it around and piling stuff in it, it's just hard for her to walk with it. She does not like it in it's "wagon" position as of yet because the handle sits on the floor and won't stay up. In it's walker position she is forced to walk in a notch between the rear wheels that is very narrow and difficult for her to move around in. It trips her most of the time when she is pushing it and catches her heels when she's pulling it. She enjoys this toy, but the rear wheels leave a lot to be desired.

We got two of these for my twins when they were 11 months old. I actually picked them up at Wally World the day after Thanksgiving for $10 each. They've been playing with them for a solid 10 months at this point, so they are very durable. They put stuff in the shape sorter part and race through the house laughing the whole way. I had the bright idea to turn it into a wagon today and I'm seriously disappointed. I actually got online to see if I was missing something. The handle sits on the floor! They can pick up the handle without a problem, but since I changed it, they've stopped playing with the toy.

Assurance Waddlers Rubber Duck Family-toy bathtub rubber duck mallard that floats upright-rubber du

Assurance Waddlers Rubber Duck Family-toy bathtub rubber duck mallard that floats upright-rubber ducky birthday party baby shower favor gift-all depts.gift nature birds loversSo, I wanted to buy an adult rubber duck for my toddler, because there is a song about a mother duck and her ducklings that we sing in the bath. The thing is, adult ducks aren't yellow; they aren't just really big baby ducks, but you would never know that from looking at the market of rubber duckies. This is the only bath ducky that I could find that looks like an adult duck. (FYI: Do not Google "adult rubber duck" and especially do not Google " adult rubber mallard"). Bonus for this duck is that it always floats upright. It is nice to have a bath toy that isn't always "eating" as my daughter says, or "dead" as they look to the rest of the world when they float with their bellies up. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

*SAFETY KNOTTED*Amber Heals Baltic Amber Baby Teething Necklace-Baroque Cognac w/ "Amber Heals" Jew

*SAFETY KNOTTED*Amber Heals Baltic Amber Baby Teething Necklace-Baroque Cognac w/ 'Amber Heals' Jewelry Pouch -I was doubtful when this came. The beads felt like plastic to me. I tried it on our baby though and she has been wearing it for months.

When we started using it she was drooling a full bib's size worth of soaked shirt multiple times a day. We saw an immediate reduction in her drooling. The few times I've taken it off (we don't let her wear it in the bath) and forgotten to put it back on we've noticed it's missing when we pick her up and her shirt is soaked with drool.

It hasn't hurt her, and it seems to have helped her, and we like the look of it.

I bought this necklace for my 10 month old after my sister and cousins all bought one for their children. My son has yet to have a problem with teething. He is now 13 months.

VTech Roll and Wiggle Caterpillar

VTech Roll and Wiggle CaterpillarMy baby was not even 2 months when we bought him this and it has been one of his favorites ever since. The colors are great, and it has the tags that babies seem to love. The songs that accompany this toy are actually catchy, and you will find yourself singing them later on, which my husband seems to hate. The center "balls" can be turned to play different sounds. I found this at my local KMart for $11.

Fisher-Price Rainforest Music and Lights Mirror

Fisher-Price Rainforest Music and Lights MirrorI should have known this wouldnt be compatible with all types of cribs! I have it attached to mine but not in the location its suppose to be where she can look in the mirror and play with the toys. Its at the bottom by the mattress but my daughter who is 7 months old goes to sleep to it and its not soft music either but she relaxes to it somehow. The only real flaw for me was if you have the sleigh type cribs that are thicker up top you cant install it the way it is meant to be installed. You have to have the skinny top rails. Update: my daughter is now 17 months old and I'm JUST taking this mirror off cause it was a blessing to have during the rough sleepless nights and crankies! She never became attached however some how it kept her calm and she went to sleep! Plays for a good length of time which I LOVED!! Can't seem to part with it though cause it was such a big part of our routine lol.

We love this item! Baby is still to young to pull on the toys, but she enjoys the lights and music. I can't wait for her to be able to sit up and see herself in the mirror. We have the rainforest play gym and enjoy that as well.

We received the Rainforest waterfall soother as a gift, and our baby loves it so much that I bought this mirror. It's not soothing, its music is high energy and gets our baby very excited! He's only 3 months and quickly learned to kick the wheel to turn the music on. It's very entertaining for baby, and for parents to watch baby at play. This was worth every penny! Highly recommend it.

I bought this to have at my house for when my grandsons (all four were born in 2009) come to visit. So far, both Liam and Jonas like the lights and sounds of the toy. Liam goes to sleep listening to the music when I lay him in his crib. The price on this model was much less than other similar products I had looked at in stores.

Denim Dress, fits 12 inch baby dolls

Denim Dress, fits 12 inch baby dollsMy 4 year old daughter received this as a gift for her birthday 3 months ago. Her favorite doll is the Corolle Tidoo. She loves to be able to change her baby's clothes and this outfit is so cute! My only complaint at this point is the quality of the white fabric. After 3 months, the white clothing has pills all over it and it really detracts from the cuteness. The jumper seems to be much higher quality fabric.

In order to make my 2yr old granddaughter's Corolle birthday gift more special, I added this dress to purchase. She loves it becauuse it is easy to put on and take off. Denim is our. Whole family's style.

Gumdrop the Golden Retriever Slumber Pet Plush and Sleeping Bag by Zoobies

Gumdrop the Golden Retriever Slumber Pet Plush and Sleeping Bag by ZoobiesWe got one of these for our three year old before a long trip. I didn't want to be hauling all of his bedtime gear around with us. On our vacation we only took this sleeping bag and his favorite blankey. Our little boy loves "Puppy." The actual puppy is very soft and cushy and truly does make a great pillow. The only thing that I found a bit disappointing was the sleeping bag part. The fleece isn't very plush and definitely doesn't look as soft or a sleek as the material pictured. All in all, though, we do enjoy the product.

The Can You Dig It Sand Tool Super Deluxe Sand Sculpting Kit

The Can You Dig It Sand Tool Super Deluxe Sand Sculpting KitThis set was fantastic! The video was clear and fun. The girls made a beautiful castle their first time out and they are only 10 & 11. They were so proud as passers by ooh'd and ah'd over their castle. Thanks so much!

I really enjoyed this product, and the video was very helpful for me. After building my first sandcastle, I revisited the video and I gained more insightful information the second time around.

I am very interested in this product. However, it is simply a picture of a box without much of definitive explanation of what's inside. Practically speaking, this is not "Let's Make A Deal". At $44.99 plus tax, I'm not prepared to guess what's behind the door. The reviews are also not very helpful...being simply generic indications that people were pleased with the product...why?

Little Tikes Fold Away Climber

Little Tikes Fold Away Climber1st time reviewer. Wanted to let other moms (and dads) know that:

1) easy to put together just follow directions (20-30 max time needed)

2) no big deal: there are no rails between ladder and slide. i positioned that side against one wall in my house and it serves as my additional wall.

3) slide is great! to me the picture of the slide looks like there is a stopper or lip at the end of the slide to stop a baby from flying off the end. There is no abrupt stop or lip. Smooth, safe and FUN ride all the way down.

4) My son (16mths) is so worn out he PASSED out tonight from playing so much today. All I can say is THANK YOU Little Tikes :-)

5) I live in a townhome so no yard and no storage inside. This toy is big enough to provide hours of entertainment. Versitile you can store it away in an instant. I bought this for inside play but this could easily go outside as well.

You cannot go wrong buying this toy from BabyAge. It's Versitile. Play soccer or basketball or slide. Stores Easily. Great Deal. Excellent Toy.

Only drawback I can find is the only ball it comes with is a basketball. It's as big as a Size 1 soccer ball. perfect size for baby.

We got this for our 20 month old son for Christmas hoping it would provide some energy draining fun during the winter months, and we are so glad we did! He plays on it every day for a fairly good amount of time. He plays basketball, then climbs up and goes down the slide, the sends trucks and balls down the slide too. We were worried about the size of it and him outgrowing it too soon, since he's the size of the average 3 yr old, but it's perfect for him. I don't know about how easy it is to fold up since we've never had to do it, but it doesn't look that complicated. Since there is no railing on the back of the platform, we put a floor pillow on our wood floors behind it just in case he fell off, which he has, and he was fine. Overall, we are extremely happy we purchased this, and have recommended it to quite a few friends of ours.

What a terrific idea. Just enough activity for little attention spans. The fold-up feature is great. It's not too heavy for mom to move around.

Want Little Tikes Fold Away Climber Discount?

My 18-month old loves this climber. We live in a small apartment. With this climber, my child can climb, slide and shoot hoops without using a lot of space or going outside in bad weather. There is a net under the basketball hoop that can be used for playing soccer. The height of the hoop is adjustable for a growing toddler.

The negatives: The ladder to the slide is not user-friendly for my toddler. If I did not assist her w/ the ladder, she would fall or not be able to use the slide. There is nothing around the platform between the ladder and the slide to prevent a toddler from falling off. Hence, a child must be closely supervised at all times. Finally, the slide has a speed bump at the bottom, which can result in a rough end to the ride. However, the bump prevents my child from flying across the room when she gets to the bottom. Note that this toy can easily move on a wood floor.

Overall, the slide is fun, fun, fun. Toddlers like to climb, and this toy satisfies that need.

Tomica: HyperCity Rescue: Storm Runner

Tomica: HyperCity Rescue: Storm RunnerThis jet is amazing! It is a race car vehicle with a snap on jet pack piece and then comes with an engine and guy. The pieces are easily snapped together, my kids can do it on their own which makes them happy. Everything then stays put, it doesn't fall apart when flying another plus. The little engine and guy is a great addition and interchangeable in the engine and jet. This is actually the first Tomica toy we have owned and I am pleased with its quality. It has stood up to my my boys (4 and 5) constant play and believe me when I say they are rough with toys. It fun how there really is a lot of different things to do with this one toy, that it is sure to please any kid its a race car, its a jet, its a cargo plane! Muticolored Teething Necklace and Bracelet

Muticolored Teething Necklace and BraceletThis necklace and bracelet set are very nice. The necklace is knotted after every bead and feels very durable. The bracelet looks as pictured, I do have an issue on how it's made though! The bracelet was made with elastic, the beads are not knotted between each bead! The bracelet could easily be broken by a baby due to being made made with elastic. I really wish I had known this, I would have only ordered the necklace and saved myself a little money because I'm sure I will not use it. Shipping took about 4 weeks which is understandable due to the fact it was shipped from Lithuania. If you want fast shipping look elsewhere! My Little guy isn't teething yet so I'm not sure how effective it is yet. I do have him wearing it though. Overal it's a pretty little set!

Laugh & Learn: Musical Learning Chair

Laugh & Learn: Musical Learning ChairMy 13 month old loves this chair. He plays with it on a daily basis. I would love to give it 5 stars across the board; however, I get a little worried when he plays with it. When he pulls up on the chair, it has turned over on him a few times. It's only if the pulls up on the part that has the lamp and book. It's sorta heavy on this side and him pulling up there makes it tumble. He hasn't gotten hurt, just a little frightened by falling backwards. Now when he goes near it, I always put my hand on the back of the chair to make sure it doesn't fall over. If they'd put a little more weight on the back of it, it would be more stable.

This was recalled because of the gap between chair and table. They say a child can choke or get their neck stuck. Once you get the recall piece it is just fine. My daugher had this since she was about 9 months and is now 2. From then until now she is still very interested. She says all the aminal names and noises. She likes to turn the clock. Very fun and also a nice chair to sit to watch cartoons or her shows. Very durable too.

I got this for my daughter for her first birthday. It did come with the repair piece for the recall. However, I am not sure how any child's head could get caught, unless they were younger than the recommended age of 12 months. The spot between the chair and table is large enough for an arm, but not for a head. My daughter likes to stand around it and play with everything. I'm sure she will decide to sit on it at some point. I have changed the batteries since I got it 1.5 months ago, but she uses it all day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I just have to start with how shocked I am at the price of this item. I mean SHOCKED. I own this, purchased from a yard sale for $5.00. Yep. $5.00. Brought it home, it looked as new as this picture does. Cleaned it for safety and set it down. My then 10 month old daughter went straight to it and sat on it. She started playing with it immediately. She has enjoyed in the several months since, very much. She finds it necessary to climb up in it, turn around and THEN sit down. But it hasn't flipped over yet. This is a great great toy if you can get for maybe $35.00 or less. I can't see paying $200.00 for this. It's great, but it isn't covered in gold. I can't believe this is the price. Still shocked.

Want Laugh & Learn: Musical Learning Chair Discount?

My twin girls received this from grandma for their first birthday. At first I thought it was cheesy and wasn't sure how much they'd like it since they get bored with a lot of their toys very quickly. They loved all the sounds and singing that come from it when they play with the little lamp, flip the pages of the book or sit in the chair. At first they didn't really sit in it but just stood on it or played standing next to it. After a week or two they started sitting in it and they would fight over who got to sit in the chair. They are 16 months old now and still like to sit in it and play with it or sit in it to watch TV. I would definitely purchase this again and recommend it since it was one of the few toys they would play with everyday.

Russian Wooden Alphabet Blocks

Russian Wooden Alphabet BlocksThe photograph does not do these blocks justice!!! I was hesitant to order them due to the high cost, but was delighted when I received these absolutely beautiful wooden blocks in the mail. The blocks are larger than what you typically see in the USA, around 2" square. They're well sanded hardwood with gently rounded edges (just enough so the little ones won't get splinters, but not so much that they do not fit tightly together when stacked). One side has carved letters so the child can feel how the letter is made, while another side has crisply printed letters or numbers. The little animal pictures on one side are sharply etched and the animal names are clear and easy to read (unlike most blocks that have fuzzy printing on them). I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for high-quality blocks to introduce the alphabet or stacking to their little ones.

The Russian Wooden Alphabet Blocks were the perfect gift for my Russian friend's one year old daughter! She loves them, and they are the right size for her hands. They are very sturdy and brightly colored. The only thing I would like to have had with them would be some type of carrying case or bag.

We own three sets of these--English, Russian, and Arabic.

I love the Russian blocks. My only issue is that although all of the letters are included, you cannot spell out the entire alphabet of 33 letters with the hard sign because there are only 32 blocks. This is possible because each block has a letter on four sides, so there is ample room for each character to appear two or more times. But since you can only display one side when lining them up, you can't line up the alphabet.

I suppose this is because raising the number of blocks would put the cost prohibitively high. However, I would have bought them anyway.

I bought the Arabic set last week and it is of just as good quality as the Russian blocks I bought four years ago.

Sassy Pour and Explore Water Whirl Bath Toy

Sassy Pour and Explore Water Whirl Bath ToyThe spinner needs a lot of water pressure to even spin a tiny bit. You can't pour water into it to make it spin. The teeter-totter part works slightly and the suction cup is very flat and doesn't stay up. It slides and falls right away. It looks very cool in it's picture and description, but I was very disappointed! There are much funner bath toys you could buy with $5. I suggest The First Years Finding Nemo bath cups which I bought on Amazon the same time as this. $5.99 and very cute with interesting water spouts on each one. My son likes these out of the tub as well. You can also stack and nest them.

I thought this would be a cool bathtub toy, but it's hard to make the wheels spin. You have to pour a lot of water fast to really make it spin good. My daughter can barely make them spin, so she lost interest in this toy really quick. My older boys play with it occasionally, but it's not a good toy for a toddler.

I saw this online and thought what a cute toy! My kid loves to dump water...Well, there is a major flaw. It only has one suction cup on the back. When you dump water into the top of the toy it flips upside down from the weight of the water. This becomes very frustrating. My kid gets mad and knocks it off the wall. There are better toys out there, Save your money!

While this is a simple bath toy, our 1 year old isn't as interested in it yet as we hoped. It sticks to the tub, it's smaller than we expected, and it doesn't always work the water doesn't always spin the wheel. It flows through very quickly, which means the cause and effect our toddler is looking for isn't worth the effort (yet).

I thought this would be a fun bath toy for my kids, 4 and 1, but I was wrong. As all the other reviews stated, it doesn't work the way it should. The water doesn't really make the pieces move and when it does its just not that exciting. My kids don't ever play with it. Maybe the water reservior needs to be larger. A regular cup gives my kids longer playing time in the tub than this toy does.
