These seem decently well made. The wood is nice. The paints are bright, and they haven't chipped yet. However, the designs aren't perfectly matching-seems like each piece was painted in bulk rather than as a particular set, and I didn't expect that kind of imperfection in a product this pricey. The magnets seem to be well embedded. My 17 month old hasn't gotten the hang of putting them back together, but she does enjoy taking the pieces apart.
After some initial trouble getting it out of "store mode" and into "normal play mode" (we had to reinsert the plastic tab and pull it out again a couple of times), we have really had GREAT success with this toy! I have 27 month old twin girls. The first one trained herself at 23 months, and we have been working with the other one on and off since then. She is a HUGE Elmo fan, so when I saw this toy, I HAD to get it! We have had it a few days now, and I am happy to say that teaching Elmo to use the potty has taught my daughter to use the potty! I used this toy, along with a potty training book, and new Elmo Panties as a reward, and it really worked!

For some reason I thought you could actually fill Elmo's sippy cup with water and he would 'pee' it out. This Elmo prentends only. He will ask for a drink when you press his hand, make drinking sounds, ask for more juice, and then tell you he has to potty. When you sit him on the potty he hums until his business is finished and a toilet flushing sounds. His underwear can be pulled up and down but do not come off entirely. My almost 2 year old loves him but still wil not sit on her potty. She knows when she has to go and will pull her diaper down when she does and even wipe herself with a baby wipe but forget sitting on the potty or the toilet. I don't know what scares her but seeing Elmo on his potty doesn't seem to help. She does like him and she'll play with him often but I still need to find some way to get her to sit on the potty.It took me a full year to potty train my daughter. She just would not go and sit on the potty. I tried a potty book, which had lots of rave reviews from other parents. My daughter loved when I read it to her, but nothing. A friend with 2 children recommended getting a potty doll. I found the Potty Elmo while doing a toy search on Amazon. I bought it since my daughter loves Elmo. I brought it home, and that night we practiced teaching Elmo to potty. Within one day my daughter was using the potty. No joke. It was worth the money.
This is a great little beginners pool, for your baby to splash around in. But the bottom is not inflatable so its best to put it on grass instead of concrete.

I've been buying up several of these little teethers in various colors for baby presents lately, and this is by far the cutest one. I thought the fabric would be the thinner cotton, but it is actually the same stretchy cotton-velour as the solid-color ones. Here I thought I was making a sacrifice to get the gorgeous colors, and it turned out to be absolutely the greatest instead! These are absolutely wonderful German-made quality and design, very versatile (both a toy and a teether; doll and ring come apart for cleaning, and soooo cute!) and the perfect size for small hands to hold on to. Stimulating with those colors, too! I wish I'd had these around when my three kids were that small! You've got to check out the colors---they come in at least seven or eight that I have been able to find, perfect for matching any presents you're giving. They even come in organic, if you want to be really careful, and invest the extra. I chose this to go with a neutral set of toys, books and clothes in orange, yellow, blue and green (they want the gender of their baby to be a surprise, so we won't know for a while what it is), and you must admit, this little teether doll is absolutely perfect to go with that!

I really hoped my infant would like to play with this, but she didn't really care about it. It is soft with a pleasant expression. The wood ring is a bit smaller than I expected but sturdy and a functional teether. Unfortunately after months of trying, we are passing it on to the consignment store.

This is a good walker for babies who have strong balance already and who are very close to walking or already walking. Otherwise the bar being in the back can cause it to flip back when baby puts too much weight on the bar. The walker does not turn w/out tilting it back and using the rear wheels, so I have to help my baby turn it. The product makers needed to include two screw end cap things (don't know what they're called) that are set inside the wood in order to rotate the bar to the lower height.

My 11month old daughter loves this walker. we looked everywhere for a wooden walker and are really pleased with the Plan Toys quality. The wheels can be tightened so that less confident walkers do not go too fast, even on a wood floor. As they get more confident the wheels can be loosened. The bricks are very durable and although she is too small to build with them yet she loves to bash them together they even stand up to some chewing! We got this for my 11 month-old daughter for Easter. She was already pulling up and cruising at the time, so we thought it was time for a walker. I love Plan Toys, so I jumped for this. Well, it ended up being a very bad idea. As much as this toy is adorable and all the things you're used to getting from Plan Toys, it is NOT a walker. Walkers are for babies who still need a little help walking. This thing feels like it weighs about 1 lb. Not only did it fall over constantly when she tried pulling up on it we also had the experience of it toppling sideways if she tried to turn it. I know it's meant for walking in a straight line, but any kid will try to turn it. She is not a heavy baby (6th percentile in weight) or an exceptionally strong baby, so that was just unacceptable. The only thing we let her use were the blocks that came with it (which are excellent) and we ended up returning it and buying the Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon instead. Much heavier, sturdier, and has a bumper on the front so they don't ruin your walls and furniture while walking. We have had no problems with the new product.
I was eager to see this toy for my daughter and envisioned her crawling around the house after it. The toy itself is really cute and well made, however it does not work on carpet at all (doesn't even move). If your home is largely carpeted, I would pass on this toy.

A friend gave this to my daughter when she was 4 or 5 months old and she liked it right away. Now that she's 6 months old it is the toy she usually reaches for or creeps toward while playing on the floor. She has other more colorful, easy to grasp, plastic toys with bells and rattles, sounds and lights, but for some reason she is really fascinated by this snake. Even though it's a bulky shape and rather heavy, she likes to pick it up, mouth it and chew on it more than the other toys. She's also interested in how it can be contorted into many shapes. I like that it's nice quality with pretty colors. The green is more vivid in real life. I am ordering my daughter some more quality wooden toys after seeing how much she likes this one.

Purchased this toy for my 2 year old child who has special needs. He loves mardi gras beads and I figured this was a much safer interactive toy, he loves it.
The directions that come with this doll say "We recomment that you familiarize yourself with how the doll operates. Try feeding and making the doll go potty before the 'Big Day.' The risk of operating the doll for the first time on the 'Big Day' is that things may not go smoothly and your child may lose interest and enthusiasm." In other words, it takes a grown-up to use this doll. Filling the bottle is a slow, cumbersome procedure (you have to immerse it in a glass of water, squeeze, turn upside down, remove and turn right-side up, squeeze again, reinsert in the glass & repeat). Feeding has to be done at an awkward angle; it's also messy and soaks the doll's clothes. To make the doll go peepee, you have to squeeze its thigh hard, which could distress a child. I was very disappointed with this doll and would have returned it if I could. I gave it two stars instead of one because it's a cute doll and it comes with training pants to replace the diaper it's wearing, which is a good idea.

I had no problem spending the money on Patty. I was planning on the toilet training in less than a day method and need a doll that wet itself. I figured since this company also was a proponent of this method it would be a great doll and money well spent. What a waste. Part of the training is a "dry pants" inspection. Couldn't do that because the stupid doll leaks. Dry pants inspection with wet pants doesn't work. I am very disappointed and irritated that I spent the money. Don't buy this doll.
There are ten blocks in this set. Two of each color: red, orange, yellow, green and blue. They are made of a soft, plastic/rubber and per Parents customer service, pvc and bpa free. This is important because, as you probably know, infants put everything in their mouths. They are soft enough that if your child falls on them or an older child throws one, they will not hurt your child. They stack well. My one and three year old seem to like them.

My wife just had a baby shower and received a lot of skip hop products as gifts. For some reason I really liked this one because it was different from the stackers I've seen at toy stores. It's soft and teddy bear like, so our baby won't hurt himself and it each animal makes a different sound, which will aid in stimulation for our son. Like the sheet set we bought from the same company, the stacker looks to be made of quality materials and will last through rough play. My wife likes it because it matches the nursery, so when he's not using it for play, it serves as decoration. Since we haven't put it to the test (baby is due in august and it's recommended for 3 month olds), I'll give it 4 stars for quality and aesthetics, and the fact that my wife likes it.

My nine month old son still likes them, he has played with them for many months. At each stage he has, he finds different aspects that he likes about them.
The ends of this rattle are the size of doorknobs, so even my huge-mouthed baby couldn't get his jaws around it to explore it with his mouth (the way he wants to "look" at everything). Also, the rings are only rounded (and painted) on the outside; the centers of the rings are unpainted and cylindrical rather than donut-shaped. Due to this non-toroidal configuration, the rings only slide up and down on the center post (they don't "tilt" against the post at all). This means the rattle has to be shaken in a specific direction in order to make any noise, while baby prefers to wave it around in random directions and thus gets bored with the lack of rattling.
You can't go wrong with a stuffed animal and this one is great! Very soft and plush. Machine wash and dry. And no plastic eyes or nose to pop off so it's safe for all ages.
