I had planned on getting the usual stacking ring toy for my baby. I saw this one and thought I'd give it a try. My little guy loved it. The rattling makes it lots of fun. The only down side is that the rings are pretty chunky and it was hard for him to differentiate the graduating sizes so they were very rarely put on properly. In addition the pole you put them on doesn't slope like the usual stacker so it doesn't help in learning to go from big to littlest. But we liked it none-the-less.
My daughter got this just in time for her first birthday. She loved it! The little bear plays "Happy Birthday" and we would sing the song inserting her name and she would beam with joy. It is very well made and each piece is darling. It's fun to play with even after the special dayshowing her birthday cake photo and remembering the celebration with her. Well worth the price!

I applaud a company for making products that are safe, especially at an affordable price. However, the quality of the bear is extremely poor. The stitching looks like it was done by hand by a beginner seamstress and not in a charming "handmade" kind of way. My preschooler gets kid meal toys that look better quality than this. In fact, I would be embarrassed to give this to someone as a gift. Also, the item description says organic cotton exterior AND organic cotton fill. However, the tag on my product says organic exterior and does not list "organic" for the cotton interior. I've read that cotton batting does contain pesticide residues (if it is not organic) because it is not as processed as cotton fabric (which does not contain pesticide residues). Initially I bought this because the interior was organic cotton and not polyester. False representation.

When I washed the tiger, the filling got a little lumpy. It is a natural filling (cotton) which is probably why it does that, but I was just surprised, being used to typical synthetic filings. My 6-month-old positively loves this toy, and has for the two months it's been in the house. It is very durable and hasn't fallen apart or exploded despite lots of throwing and chewing, though I would be too scared to put it in the washing machine. It cleans up very well just with a little antibacterial soap and water and left to air-dry, even after getting puke on it. Only thing is that the choice of colors for the road and ground and water are a bit weird, but who knows maybe grass really is periwinkle in Germany. I've never been there so I couldn't say.

I just recieved the item today, but I like it already. It is a good size (not to big) ball with many houses, a duck, a car, trees and other things sewn on it. I accidentally ordered this product while purchasing some other toys on Amazon for my 9-month old. When I found out that I had unintentionally paid eighteen dollars for a toy that we didn't want in the first place, I was pretty annoyed. This has turned out to be a sturdy ball though. The stitching is reliable and the ball makes a nice sound. However, I feel that one would only pay this much for a fabric ball if they were buying more so for the label. This ball is relatively small so I feel that ten dollars would be a far more reasonable price. It's easy for babies to grasp though which is certainly a positive.
My 7 month old son loves to play with the balls & he loves hearing the music play everytime he kicks it or reaches in. He's hasn't quite old enough to actually "make a basket" without help. The one complaint I have is that when you try to pick up the toy, from the top of basket, it falls apart. There is no way to lock the top & bottom parts together. That causes concern since my son could pick it up & have the bottom fall on him & he gets hurt.

I received this toy for Easter for my Twins in thier baskets. I have to say that the nicest part of the toy is the three brightly colored balls. I am a big Fisher Price fan and I like the adjustable volume and the music is not too overbearing but the toy is not made well. The hoop attachement falls off way to easily (everytime) and having to re-assemble it each time its touched is annoying. With three small kids, I need a toy to hold up for play. It's not worth the money and I would not give this to anyone else.My mom bought this toy for my son when he was nine months old and he loves it! Music plays and lights flash when he puts the balls in the hoop. He figured out the point of the game right away. The balls are brightly colored and he will crawl all over the house to retrieve them. The hoop attachment does come off of the base easily but that is because it is reversible (the bottom of the toy can either be a basket to contain the balls or a platform that allows the balls to roll away so baby has to crawl after them) and it has never been a problem for us. We clap and cheer when he makes a basket and he gets really excited. This toy is very interactive because adults can easily play baskets with the child even grandad likes getting in on the action! This is always the first toy my son chooses to play when we go to Grandma's house.
I don't know why Amazon has this come up with a toy review, but this is not a toy. It's a party decoration. As such, it is fine. It is easy to assemble, just fold and insert a few tabs. They stay independently. I used mine indoors only. And they added a lot of color with little effort and money. They lasted through the party and I was able to reflatten them and save them. I can't remember if I needed to use tape to secure them.
Overall, I love this product. I am able to let my 2 year old swim with out me holding him and he is so happy. My only disappointment was that i ordered it in Blue and got it in Purple which was not my first choice for a boy!
There is nothing attractive about this item. Perhaps because it's washable, the material appears raggedy and messy, as if the toy had already been "through the ringer" many times. I would not recommend this toy.

I got this because I love the Tolo activity sorter so much. I wasn't disappointed! These are nice and large and easy for my son to handle, there aren't so many cups that you lose pieces everywhere, and I love that they're bright and easy to identify colors. (This last part might sound crazy but you try teaching colors when your child holds up something that is yellow-green or magenta). I love the paddle wheel, but my 18 month old isn't quite ready to operate it himself. The magnifying glass clear piece will also probably be a hit when he's older.

We bought this basketball toy for our daughter when she was 6 months old. She loves to hear all of the different sounds and songs that it plays. She was a bit too young at the time to 'make baskets' but loves to press the buttons and play with the basketballs. It is a heavy toy on top, so you have to be watchful that it doesn't topple when your baby tries to pull the net towards them to chew on it. It is really neat that the net has a sensor if something goes through it and will have different sayings such as 'slam dunk' or will count how many baskets you get in a row. Like how it's height is adjustable so she can play now while she sits and will also be able to use it when she can stand. All around great toy!

Our son received this as a first birthday gift, and it's so much fun. Whenever we're playing in his room and he wants to play alone I (his mother) pass my time by shooting hoops. It's very durable, and it's only tipped over occasionally. I think it's best for a baby who can already stand up. We just keep it on the medium height, and let him take shots. He's become very good at throwing a ball thanks to this toy, and he can make shots on his own from several feet away now. It's true that it's very short compared to some kids' hoops, but it's meant for infants who can sit up, and very young toddlers. At 14 months old, our son now plays with it every day. This is great for the stage of teething where your baby wants something that is a mixture between soft and hard. It's a nice texture and best of all it's organic which is the best since it's going into your baby's mouth. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars is because it's a little bit thick for a baby to hold in his hands, a lot of times, I have to hold it for my son. Also the face, it's a little creepy, and the pointy ears kind of make it look evil instead of nice. Maybe if the ears were made rounder and the stitch on the face was rounder it would look a little more pleasant :)

I love this wonderful pooh and piglet bedtime soother. My son got this for Christmas when he was 5 months old. He loves it and so do I. He really enjoys chewing on piglet's little ears since he is now teething. The remote is wonderful so you don't have to go back into the room and worry about the baby seeing you. It's so relaxing I even love to listen to it. We took it on a long 15 hour trip and it was a lifesaver. Anytime our son got fussy we would just put it on and I could start it up again from the front seat using the remote without having to reach back and get the toy! Once we were at our destination we thought our son would have a hard time sleeping since he was not at home in his crib but having Pooh made him feel like he was home and he would drift off to sleep every time! I highly recommend this to everyone and plan on buying one for my sister who has a hard time getting her baby to sleep. This toy is worth every penny. One last note, I read another review that said this toy goes through batteries quickly but in all honesty we have not had that problem. We use it constantly and have only changed the batteries once since Christmas and even if we had to change them more often, I wouldn't complain because it's so worth it!

My 3-month old daughter LOVES this toy! When I put her down to sleep, I tell her that Pooh is going to sing to her and she squeals and giggles. And it really works! It starts out with an adorable lullaby (that I find myself singing to myself throughout the day) then moves on to just music. The music progressively gets softer and slower, and the nightlight progressively dims. My daughter always falls asleep before it ends. It's amazing! I especially love it because I am able to put my daughter in her crib while she's still awake, and it helps soothe her while she learns to fall asleep on her own. Perfect choice for a baby shower!!!
It vibrates when you pull it down, my daughter likes to put it against her bottom lip and pull it so it vibrates against her mouth. She really doesn't use it as a teether as much as just a fun thing that wiggles when she plays with it. The Hopscotch rattle seems to be her most favorite thing to chew on.
We bought this toy for our twins for Christmas and they LOVE it! The colorful circles spin as the clown is pulled and they can also be removed so the kids can chew them or roll them around. Besides being a beautiful toy that will grow with our children, it is exceptionally well made. The paint doesnt come off, the pieces are well joined and the pull string is thick and sturdy. my girls are 10 months and they already know how to pull it while crawling (of course the string is tied shorter for safety) I have other HABA toys and they are simply a wonderful toy company!

This toy is very well-made. We've had it for 6 months now and the paint has not one single chip. My 16-month old is not yet into pull toys (and maybe he'll never be?) but he likes playing with the wooden pegs, stacking them on top of one another. The colors are vivid, bright and cheery, and the construction is quite solid.My son loves toys that he can drag behind him and this is his new favorite toy. Even my older daughter likes to pretend it is a "dog" on a leash. Haba's toys are always well made and very durable, I bought baby toys for my daughter 4 years ago that still look brand new after 2 kids. The little cogs do fall out very easily, but I just keep them out until one of them wants to play with them. Worth every penny!
Goose is not soft, fluffy, or squishable the way most stuffed animals for small children are, but he has a certain je ne sais quoi. There's just something tremendously appealing about this little guy; he's the only stuffed animal in the house that makes me smile when I see him. When he arrived, my boy (2) took one look at him, swiped him from me, and hauled him around the house for the rest of the day. My son now sleeps with (or, more likely, around or on top of) Goose every night.
