I ordered these lacing shapes for my 2 year old grandaughter. On appearance, they were great; however, once one attempted to "string" the lace through the blocks, it was apparent that the insides of the shapes were rough, and the lacing caught on the rough edges. We used a file to smooth the interior sides of the blocks, bur we were cautious because we did not want to break the paint finish. I ended up purchasing leather boot laces that would not catch on the imperfections.

The item was exactly as I expected and hoped it would be. It was perfect for my 19 month old grandson.

I got this for my 2-yr-old son because his speech therapist had one to help him learn fine motor skills. With a little help at first, he figured out how to get all the beads on the string (rope) and he does it with GUSTO! Very good toy to help with fine motor skills.

I purchased these stringing beads for my mother who is in a memory care unit. I found them to be and excellent product. Very well made and finished. The strings were a bit too thick for older people so i bought some neon athletic laces for the resident to string the beads on. They really love to string beads!!! I just wish you made a large tub of these beads so i could purchase more at on time.

I bought this for my 23 month-old daughter's stocking this year. It's by far the most expensive single item that went into her stocking, but I figured it's so gosh darn cute. I love that little mousie head and all his brightly colored pieces. Besides it's hard to find a toy large enough to not be a choking hazard for a two year old, but challenging enough to not be a complete bore.

Initially I believed it was too challenging for my 23 month old, and wrote a review stating such. It brought her a lot of annoyance and frustration for a time, after having been ignored for the first couple of weeks post Christmas. My initial gripe was that when you screw the individual pieces on, they are really difficult to line up with one another to make the cute formations pictured. Instead the end point where each piece fits tightly up against the one before it leaves the pieces all helter skelter at different angles. This can be remedied by unscrewing all the pieces a bit and re-screwing them back, while holding them all in correctly aligned positions. You have to have big (adult) hands to do this. I played with this toy myself a number of times before I stumbled onto this solution for making them line up correctly; initially I'd thought it was impossible, which is why I kept playing around with it.

In any case, in the past couple of weeks, my 23-month old has learned to screw each piece on, with only minimal difficulty. She actually LOVES this toy. She says he's 'naked' when all his pieces have been removed and proceeds to 'dress' him with the individual pieces. It turns out that she just doesn't care that it's beyond her skill level to line the pieces up correctly. Mouse can totally have frumpy clothes so long as she gets to dress him herself.

So, bottom line, I jumped the gun on poorly reviewing this toy, but sadly Amazon doesn't allow one to up start ratings if you rethink a review. I'd give this guy about a 4.5 in light of my daughter's intense interest in this toy.

My 19 month old wore this for Halloween. He looked like a real chef. The jack is big, but you can roll up the sleeves. The hat was too small, but my kid has a VERY big head so no big suprise there. I do wish they made checkered chef pants to complete the look. Very cute and something he can wear if he wants to play chef in the kitchen.

Ours started to leak air only after 2 uses. The canopy is a little flimsy but sort of works. The good part is that the wheel is tall and sturdy so the baby feels safe in it. If it wasn't for for leak would continue to use it. Overall it's an "ok" product.

We really liked this float and used it on a trip to Destin, Fl. And for the rest of the summer at home. It is a good float and the shade was pretty good. The only issue is be sure the kids legs aren't too chunky for the holes (the holes are large, but we used it the next summer and she still fit and it held her up, but her legs had become a bit chubby and even though they fit in the holes it left a little red mark from her kicking and moving but if you are getting it for a kid in the recommended age and weight range with average sized thighs it should be fine! Our daughter just has thicker thighs.)

Elegant Baby Cotton Cable Knit Teddy Bear

We bought this bear for our little girl when she was about 8 months old. We liked it because there are no beads or other plastic pieces for her to bite off & choke on, and after we cut off the ribbon bow, there were no other loose parts she could get off of the bear. There isn't even any "fur" for her to rip out now that she's 16 months old. The directions say to surface wash, but we've machine washed and dried this bear many times and he has held up. We plan to buy a couple more of the same bear and rotate them out in case one ever gets lost because she's so attached to this one now. I feel confident leaving this bear in her crib with her at night because it poses very little safety risk.

Purchased for my son. Had on my registry in one of the baby stores and found it cheaper here, so I bought it. Cute and received when expected.

I bought this based on the great reviews. The Cotton Cable is different. The stitching on mine was a bit lopsided though. The eyes weren't quite even and the nose part was not even as well. I don't see what all the great reviews were about. It's not cuddly or even cute like the picture. Wish I could return mine but why bother with the shipping costs.

HABA Wooden Blocks are a favourite in our home. They are a lovely quality, precision cut for building perfect structures. An heirloom quality that will outlast my children's rough pay and live to see grandchildren and great grandchildren. In all honesty every once and a while you will come across a piece that may have a little bit of a rough edge. When this happens we use a 400 grit sand paper and a few quick swipes ensures that the edge is satin smooth. Really pleased with this purchase as it is cute, the fabric is soft, and the teething part is a lovely beech wood. My daughter is only newborn so I don't know if she will actually use it, hence 4 stars overall rather than 5. It is only small, around 16.5cm, but so adorable. As per the other reviewer, the colour is deep orange rather than bright red. That is fine with me, as I love orange but buyer beware.

Quick warning about the color of this toy: It's not red. It's a deep, bright orange. It's still very cute and very sweet and gender-neutral, but it's not a pure red. This only matters to me because red is my baby girl's favorite color, but she doesn't seem as madly attracted to the orange as she is to all things red.

In any case, I still like the toy and she still likes it too. It's not her very favorite (she shows teething preference for her plastic keys and her little Haba wooden toys like her froggie and ring-rattle), but she still likes it. She gnaws on the head and chomps down on the ring. She loves feeling the little antennae with her mouth and scratching the fabric with her fingernails.

I think it's cute and I like that it's free of BPA and other questionable substances. I leave it in her crib in case she needs something to chew on at bedtime. I'm pleased with it, just might choose a different color if I were to do it again.

A friend gave this to me because her little ones liked it so much. My son is 9 months old and is probably finally starting to get bored with it, but I carried it in my diaper bag (the slim shape is great for this) since he was able to grasp and hold (around 3 months) and he has LOVED it! It seems like the simplest thing, but I think he enjoys watching the smiling faces go around on the bright background. The rotating gears fascinate him, and he'll manipulate it for a good long time, long enough for me to finish shopping when he's starting to get antsy. I get way more mileage out of this than any other diaper bag toy (rattles, keys, etc.), and of course he played with it inside the house too, but I soon decided to save it just for trips out to keep his interest fresher longer.

Edit: My son is now one year, and while he's not as interested in this while shopping anymore, it does give him a few minutes entertainment during diaper changes-just enough time to keep my little gymnast from rolling over on the changing pad so I can quickly slap a fresh diaper on him. I keep a variety of rattles and toys right next to the diapers in the top drawer of the changing table for exactly this reason.

My mother-in-law bought the giraffe and the dog for my boy-girl twins as a little Christmas gift for our family Christmas party and they soon became a favorite stuffed animal for them both. We brought them along as a comfort toy for them when we traveled to AZ and unfortunately we lost Safari the giraffe in the airport. On our way back I saw that they were selling Beanie Boos at one of the shops in the AZ airport so I bought Casanova the Monkey to replace the giraffe and my daughter instantly loved him and has taken him everywhere since. I even bought a "replacement" Casanova in case he ever goes missing since she loves him so much. My daughters "comfort blanket" is this little monkey. I bought Safari the giraffe again as well as the tiger for their Easter baskets, so I guess we are starting a collection of Beanie Boos :) These are great because they are so cute and also teach them which animals are which. My sons new favorite word is "giraffe". Will certainly be purchasing more Beanie Boos!

My 3 and 1/2 month loves this but can't squeeze it yet to make the sounds so we have to. The sounds are cute but like any children's toy gets old fast. This can take him out of a hissy fit though so it's worth it. Only downside is no replacable batterys and can't wash it. If you've got a drooling, teething baby it's worth buying but only as a toy to hold over them and touch them with.

My Grand daughter seems to love it. The sweet little noises it makes and the fact that it's easy for her to hold makes it better.

I love this stacker, my daughter however is just kind of getting into it. She is 10 months and just pulls them off, even if we try to play with it together. The product is very well made and super cute. Really soft fabrics and each one has a little bit of a different texture.

This was a Christmas present for my son (he was about 1 yrs old when recevied) and he still plays with it at 18 mths. Wish he had this toy at about 6 mths, he would have liked it then too. I like it because it is soft and I have washed it on gentle/delicate cycle a few times and it is still holding up well (even though it doesn't say machine wash it was fine). He liked to teeth on the soft rings and likes pulling the rings on and off the stacker.

Fun stacking toy, a little pricey but good toy.

My 6 month old loves this toy. The high-contrast colors really catch his eye, and he loves to pull the hat into his mouth. He has started to realize that he can pull the rings off (and that they are great teething toys). He's not yet at the point where he puts rings back on, but I anticipate that he'll have fun with that too. Best of all, when he was just starting to learn to sit, it was a great toy for him to play with. It kept him upright and engaged and encouraged him to reach out his hands instead of balancing on them. I highly recommend this toy starting at around 5-6 months!

This is the right winged elephant, not to be confused with the left wing donkey. It is a cute elephant with an American flag on it's bottom.It is nice and well constructed. Of all the elephants that Ty has come out with, this would have to be my favorite design wise. I like that it is a floppy type of elephant.

John Deere - 1:16 X748 Lawn Tractor With Cart

This little tractor is built like a tank. It feels like a brick in your hand, way heavier than you'd think. It has nice detail, too, like working steering and a flip up seat. I was very surprised to find that the cart is metal too, with a dumping action. The tiller is plastic though. My 4-year-old has been playing with this tractor almost daily. It's very cool to see it parked next to his 1:16 scale farm tractors, as they are the same scale.

This "toy" was actually purchased for my husband and he absolutely loves it. There are parts that come off and are interchangeable, so I would not advise for small children.

Sassy Earth Brights Wooden Lil Twig Rattle

Please don't buy this product! I bought one for my six-month old. Like any baby would, she chewed and drooled all over it. The little colored wooden leaves STUCK TOGETHER AND THE PAINT PEELED OFF OF PARTS OF the leaves. The manufacturer, Sassy, has reassured me that the paint is nontoxic, but I still don't feel good about giving it to ANY baby. I have also contacted Toys 'R Us and will be contacting the Consumer Safety Commission. Please don't buy this.

We got this toy as a gift when my son was born. He didn't use it right away because it was too heavy for him to lift until he was around 3 months or so. He's seven months now and it has been one of his favorite toys for awhile now. It's nice looking too--a welcome respite from all the plastic junk out there and I feel better that's he's not gnawing on plastic. One problem is that the paint wears off (I guess because of all the drool). I wish it held up better because after 4 months of use, it's looking somewhat worn.

I was drawn to Earth Brights toys because I do not want my son to have plastic, but I was apprehensive about whether or not my son would like them. I am so happy that he loves these toys and he is entertained by them for long periods(10 minutes or so). This rattle has pieces of wood that are large enough for him to chew on and the leaf and moon fabric are also large enough for him to chew. The different materials are great as well.

The rattle has the colors that are interesting to my baby, and the cloth pieces do have texture, however what is missing is any noise making capability of the cloth pieces (for instance, the 'crinkle' that most babies just love). All in all, not a bad little toy, but I don't think it will become a favorite.
