Galt Pop Up Toy

It is unfortunate that I am forced to give this toy a one-star review after all, it provided great entertainment for my baby until I realized that the paint on the little pop up sticks was chipping off into his mouth. This happened the first time my son played with this toy, and within 2-3 minutes there were paint chips on his face and in his mouth. I will not be letting him play with this again. Let's face it, this is a toy for babies (12 months and up), and babies put everything in their mouths. With all of the worry regarding lead-infused children's toys, you would think that Galt would construct a better product. I have attempted to contact the manufacturer, but haven't been successful. I felt compelled to review this toy to warn other parents considering purchasing it for their babies.

This is the gift we give to 1 year olds. It has fabulous staying power. One year olds are fascinated by getting the pegs in the holes. As kids get older, they learn the difference between pegs being upside down and right-side up, the faces on the pegs facing all the same way, and then they start to match them up by color. Of course, the "boing" factor is fun for everyone (including grandparents). I have 4-year-olds at my house who like to play with this toy.

I bought this to give to a 1-year old. Unfortunately the paint was already chipping on the green-colored pop-up when I received it. It is too bad because I am very partial to wood toys and this one gets such high marks in its use for teaching hand/eye coordination....

I purchased this for my son who is currently 11 months old... Right now he doesn't really know what to make of it and just blinks rapidly when the little figures pop out of the base... I can totally see him growing into this though since I find it amusing myself. It is such a nice, simple little toy. I hate all of the plastic junk that is out there and appreciate that it is made out of wood. No chipping paint yet as others have experienced. It is priced well to give it a try to see if you and your children like it for yourselves...

Its been a few years since I've bought this but was so glad to find it once again to give my first grandchild. Our kids have loved playing with these and we've given them as gifts to many other babies for many years. Its small and travels easily, there is a progression as to how kids can learn from it, and its amazing how long they will play with such a simple thing (thanks to the springs!).

Infantino Fun Cube

This cube is adorable, plays music, laughs, looks fun. The bead maze, comes off so the shapes from the sorter can be retrieved. Little ones with little dexterity can not use the bead maze, nothing keeps it on it just lays on the top. The cube also turns over when the kids try to put the shapes into the sorter. So, adorably made for decoration, not for play. Try another cube.

It is so big! I didn't expect! I didn't pay attention to dimensions while ordering, but it turned out to be very big! my 6 month son is just twice bigger :) but he likes to stand up leaking on it. Don't know why it needs adjustable "roof", we use it as a separate toy. All that sorter and rattles are not interesting for us, may be later... but generally ok.

Disney Mickey's Clubhouse Molded Candle

I took the candle out of the box and the head fell off for my little boys 1st birthday party. I carefully put it back together with a toothpick then the left ear fell off, no big deal because i turned it slightly to the side for the picture. Before I knew it the hands fell off as well. Not sure what the problem was with this candle but it was a true disappointment and a waste of money

candle worked fine. no breakage or anything. but it's not exactly made out of iron, and the packaging (by the manufacturer, not the seller) is about as thick as using sheets of paper with tape. be careful how you handle it.

My baby is 5 months old and since day 1, he has loved this more than any other toy, rattle, anything he could look at and play with. I don't know what his fascination is with this little book, but this was the BEST money ever spent. He can spend 30 minutes just looking at this, pulling at the things that come out, and seeing what happens. it is amazing! This is a must purchase! This goes with him daily to grandma's house (she keeps him while we work). I thought he would get bored with it, but he is now actually pulling the little animals out of their place. He has looked at this since he we got him home from the hospital. We would keep it on the black and white side a lot.

My baby son enjoyed this toy from his second month up until now, his fifth month. I hang it over the sofa while nursing so that he has a pattern to look at. I displayed the black and white pattern side the first 2 months and in the past month started showing the big eyed animal pictures. My son loves them, he focuses on each of the pictures separately, studies the details and after finishing his nursing he starts smiling and cooing at the little figures. It looks like he has developed some sort of communication with the little faces he sees on the pads. The padded material is easy to display or hang anywhere, horizontally and vertically and is easy to wash. I would highly recommend it for developing a baby's visual skills. It says the black and white pattern is for earlier months and the other side with animal heads is for 6 months and later.

Visually, this toy is a hit with my 4 month old. We hung it in his crib so that he could occupy himself (which gives us a couple extra minutes of sleep in the morning). Unfortunately it does not hang as well in the crib as I thought it would. If you face the black and white side so that he can see it, the ties are at the top and it hangs just fine. However in order to have the colorful animal side face out, the ties are at the bottom which makes the entire thing tilt at an angle. It doesn't seem to bother my son but all they had to do is add a second set of ties and this would be the perfect crib toy.

This is a great item to grab your little one's interest. I have used it in the crib and pack and play to help stimulate him and keep him occupied. It's nice because one side is black and white visualizations and the other side has puzzle like pieces that fit into their homes. The "puzzle pieces" flip over to the black and white side to create even more visual stimulation for him. Definitely recommend.

I was sceptical of this product. I am sceptical of most homeopathic remedies, so I wanted my review to be fair and accurate. Now that my boy has his first tooth, I can say that he drools considerably less with his necklace. Because drooling is often linked to pain and inflammation, I assume that means he is more comfortable. It didn't start helping for a couple of days, and we didn't get pharmaceutical results, but if I was looking for pharmaceutical results, I would have turned to chemistry. I would definitely recommend this product. That being said, all babies are different, and it will work better for some than others. In that case, it's a cute accessory at a good price!

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of this drum. I realize it is a child's toy, however you may as well be beating on a wood floor for the sound that it delivers. The art work on it is colorful & cute. Certainly not worth the price, as far as I'm concerned.

This dolphin is made of hard plastic and is very small. It has 3 flashing lights..the blue flashing light only lasted about 5 minutes. The other lights faintly work after a month of use. There is no way to replace the battery.

My son's grandparents got this train for him and it seems that he will enjoy it when he is a bit older than 6 months. For now the noises intrigue him, though I worry about the little red door under the music buttonseems like a baby could trap a finger in it. This toy makes interesting noises but one major flaw is the lack of an 'off' buttonI have to work around it when throwing toys in the toy bin because it will start playing when brushed against.

Nice looking toy, but much narrower than expected, not in the proportions of a real train. Pity there's no off button.

Melissa & Doug Rainbow Stacker

I bought this as a safe and natural alternative to plastic. However, the rings were cracked and the paint chipped off. Fortunately, I noticed this before my baby 'explored' it with his mouth because he would have had a mouthful of paint chips no exaggeration. So much for being safe and natural I had to throw it away. So unsafe that I had to write a review.

I ordered this rainbow stacker after reading several great reviews. My 13 mo. old daughter grabbed for it as I was unpacking it, so I think she's going to love it. HOWEVER, I am disappointed in the quality several of the rings are stuck together by paint. The ones I have been able to pry apart have paint stuck on them (blue on yellow for example) and the purple & yellow ones I have not been able to pry apart yet (neither has my husband!) I'm sure they will come apart eventually, but personally I would not give this as a gift due to this quality control issue.

This is a good basic addition to any toddler's toy collection. We like it because:

It's wood. The rings make a satisfying "clink" that plastic or cloth stacking rings lack.

It's easy for kids to do. We've had other stacking toys (like the Melissa & Doug stacking train) where certain pieces only fit in certain places, and that is frustrating for little ones just figuring out how things work. This one's simple and straight-forward.

It's inexpensive.

My older son received this when he was about 18 months and played with it quite a bit. Now his younger brother enjoys it, and has been able to put the rings on & off since about 12 months.

(Just a warning: the stick, or "ring holder" as we call it, often gets banged around like a hammer in our house this is partly why they like this toy so much, but it means close supervision is necessary!)

The top piece, the blue one pictured, is small enough to be a choking hazard. Just FYI. We removed that piece and threw it away.

Also, the pole and the hole are small requiring really really good fine motor skills. For babies just learning this skill look for bigger poles and holes otherwise, it's really hard for them to do this one.

Back before I actually had a kid, when I was insisting on natural materials only, I ordered the Melissa & Doug Rainbow Stacker, even though I'm not a fan of M&D toys as a rule (I find many of them to be cheaply made).

We got the classic Fisher-Price Rock-A-Stack as a gift when Jackson was born, and I remember scoffing a little. "Plastic! Look at this silly thing with the ridiculous foil shiny thing inside the top ring. They couldn't even make it a real rainbow, they ruined it putting those dumb little balls in the top half of the red ring. And why does it rock?! What kind of ridiculous popcorn-button-on-the-microwave unnecessary extra feature is that?"

Of course, six months later, the Rock-a-Stack is the undefeated champion of playtime, and the Rainbow Stacker sits unused in the closet. Jackson loves the balls in the red ring, he likes to make it rock, he can actually get the rings off and play with them, and I don't worry one bit when he teethes on the fat, squat, yellow ring-holder-thingy in the middle.

The rings on the M&D stacker, on the other hand, are heavy and hard for him to lift and manipulate, the red ball rolls away (and reminds me of a scary clown nose), and I'm always worried he's going to gag himself when he tries to chew on the tall, skinny wooden stick in the middle.

The Rainbow Stacker might be a great toy for a three-year-old, but it's not a good fit for my baby at this stage.

I had purchased this for my son last Christmas for a Friday deal here. I paid so little that I wanted to give it a try.

It is very cute and Winnie talks through the music as he walks with his pop along toy. One negative is that he head is a bit heavy and he ends up on it pretty often. Joshy did get a kick out of it the first few times and then forgot it. I thought it was cute, but I don't think I will be playing with it! Dragon Ball

Today I watched my son play with all the balls. Of course he threw them out of the dragon, hug the dragon around the neck, pull on the ring, and touch all the scales. My son is not even 9 months and he loves it.

Its great for kids who don't yet know how to sit on their own. The tail provides a soft place to land. The balls provide additional stability. He can fall forward, back, side to side with out hurting himself. In the first 2 days he played 40m each time in it.

Plus the pictures of your kid in it are fantastic.

My almost seven month old son has enjoyed these balls since he was about five months old. I think these balls actually encouraged him to crawl early because he was so eager to go after them. They are also very durable.

My son loves to throw and catch balls and make noise; so even though these are for babies and he is almost two I bought them for him. He loves them and my four year old daughter plays with them also. They throw them all over the place and they still are in one piece. My son threw one in the fish tank and it floated and was still fine. They are fun little balls although one of them makes a bell sound that can get annoying when the kids are playing catch with it nearby.

Boring, and not what they say. Roar... yeah right its a ball clanking around inside a bigger ball. Rain its just a bunch of small balls in the bigger ball. they are all just rattles with the exception of the bell and sproing one but you have to twist different layers to do that and I don't see a 6 month old doing that! Wish I hadn't bought them!

Munchkin Star Fountain

I have been through 3 of the Munchkin Star Fountain. I bought the first at Target. After a couple of uses the on/off switch would not stay depressed. After finally getting it to depress, it stuck in the on position indefinitely. I then exchanged it at Target for my second Munchkin Star Fountain, only for the second product to do have the exact same issue within the first use. I contacted Munchkin and they stated not having any issue with the on/off switch and offering to replace the product. The CSR explained to me that any further issue they would only give me a coupon for another product, not a full refund. While I have not purchased this on amazon.com, I am making a point to inform all consumers until CPSC has placed this product on a safety list. Do NOT buy this product here or anywhere. 3 for 3 had the same issue and Munchkin is aware and continues to sell the product.

I bought this for my 13 month old son who loves the water the fountain has some great height to it so I recommend that it be for outside. The first one I bought the on/off switch didn't work so I took it back and exchanged it. Got the second one and it worked for the first 30 minutes or so then the on/off switch wouldn't work and the batteries ended up just running out. Don't waste your money on this

I bought this for a friend's daughter before reading any reviews. I put in the batteries and it didn't work. Then I read reviews about it not working in a lot of cases. Upon further inspection I noticed that the reason the toy didn't work was because of the plastic parts that are in the battery cavity. The bottom battery slot was fine, but the 2 slots on the top have plastic to keep the batteries locked in place. If you look closely, you will see that the plastic is too thick and it is preventing the positive terminal of the battery from making contact to the tab. I simply used a small flathead screwdriver to crack the plastic away from the terminal on either end. I put the batteries back in and boom, the thing works.

Cool toy, bad design. If you don't mind taking the time to "fix" it, they toy is great.

I agree with the other reviewer that they sent me the smaller cheaper version from Babies R Us version the larger version shown in the picture that has an orange cup on the bottom and has pictures. I was disappointed in my purchase that I paid so much for the product.

Stacking/nesting cups are among the best toys EVER. But these are just the cups you can get at Toys R Us for $3. So don't buy them hereI'm super disappointed that I just paid $12 for them, and they aren't as good as the ones I bought for my daughter a year ago (there are less cups, they are smaller, they don't have pattern impressions on the bottom). Buy the Bruin ones from Toys R Us for $5way better, and cheaper.

Our children enjoyed their stacking cups, and their children are proving that toys really can endure. I bought this set for my grandson after my other son stole one of my sets for his son, who enjoyed it immensely. The toy appeals to younger pre toddlers when their adult playfellows stack the cups and let the toddler knock down the tall tower the adult builds. Toddlers like to hand the adult the cups one by one to nest back together or to stack again. As the toddlers master coordination, they'll enjoy stacking the cups on their own. They're not so good at nesting them back together to put them away! The cups teach coordination, evaluating relative sizes and balancing items to stack them.

These stacking cups are perfect for young babies and can grow with them as they enter toddler years. My 9 month old has been using them since about 6 months old. He uses them mostly in the bath and I am able to use them to help me rinse off his hair, etc, too. We also use them outside the bath as he is now more interested in knocking down towers built for him and crawling after balls, cars, cups, etc. He chases these cups all over the room. This toy is one of his few toys that we travel with as they are compact and can be used for multiple purposes once at our destination. Highly recommend for every baby/toddler. I can't wait til he can start building towers for himself!!

There is certainly room for improvement with this doll. My daughter will be 2 in two months so she's not entirely interested in the doll for long periods of time yet. However, I think there should be more clothing options for this doll. All of the dolls come with an outfit but with only two choices for purchasing clothing separately that I have seen. Which is a shame because there are so many dolls by this brand that have really cute clothes. I'm not about to buy the other dolls simply for the outfits, which I'm sure that is what the manufacturer would like me to do, which is really the only down fall to this brand. So this is really my only gripe with the doll, well that and that terrible plastic smell but I think all dolls have that smell, does it ever go away???

I never even knew this doll had existed until I purchased the shopping cart by this brand. I wanted to see what types of dolls they had and after putting the name "Little Mommy" in the Google search engine this was the first doll that popped up; which funnily enough was my daughters Halloween costume this year and I had to get my daughter this matching doll. I may just tuck away the doll and her costume for when she has kids of her own and pick out a different doll for her to have that has more accessories and choices, I'm not sure yet.

green sprouts Ring Cool Soothing Teether

This is the nicest ring I have ever seen for BPA free and water only filled. Very nice and useful product! Hard to describe but every smaller circle has an abrasion on it and helps with the teething process for a child. (Bumps for little gums to chew on in other words)

I bought this along with the stacking cups (meant for 6 months plus putting them away for him) and the keys. So far my child loves the keys more than the ring cool soothing teether. I am sure in time he will love this item as well. He is only four months old and this is a little heavy for him to hold currently. I love that it's only made out of water and is BPA free!

UPDATE-NINE MONTHS OLD

my child loves this teether so much I am buying another one. We have the apple teether made by a different company. He doesn't care for that one as much. The apple teether over time seems like there is not enough water. I am buying another one of the green sprout ones because I want one in the fridge at all times and the water in the teether is lasting a very long time for as much as it's been bit on and stuck in the fridge. The teether is going strong!

The Green Sprout stacking cups are a big hit in the tub! They have holes in the bottom of them and shapes that I know I will use with my child in the future for sand and possibly art projects!

This teether is not flexible enough for a young infant and only at about 8 months can my babies mouth open far enough to comfortably chew on this toy.

I recently received this Green Sprouts teether after ordering it in a desperate attempt to soothe my little one's teething woes. Though I really dig the "green" element of it, I'm not extremely impressed. My 11 month-old didn't take to it (not the products fault, but still). Also, it seems a tad flimsy as far as the plastic goes. It is thicker than I thought it would be (as in each individual disk is more voluminous) so it isn't ideal for smaller babies either. I'm sure some babies love it, mine simply was not one of those.

This teething ring is a little bigger, thicker & heavier than my regular teething pretzel ring. My 6 month old can hold on but not for more than a few minutes with one hand. Also, since it is quite thick, my baby's hands get very cold after holding this and sometimes that makes her not want to hold it. It does the job for $4 though.

My son is 2 years old. He is on the smaller side. With that said, we travelled to California. Stayed in 2 hotels and a personal residence. This tub saved my life. Portable, sturdy, and cool. He loves it. I love it. And it withstood TSA, being folded and deflated multiple times from California back to Hawaii. Highly recommend it IF you can get your hands on one of them. They go quick!!!!

My 17 month old daughter likes it, and it appears well made...but there is NO DRAIN! I've never had a blow up infant tub without a drain! So after I rinse the soap off my daughter, I have to take her OUT of the soapy tub, dump the water, and rinse the soap off her. Very disappointed in this tub.

My daughter loves this tub and so do we. We got this because she grew out of her baby tub but were not to sure about putting her directly into the big tub. This works great to keep her in a small area of the big tub plus with the soft sides you don't have to worry about them hitting their heads if they slip.

It's a cute looking bathtub, but the reason i bought it was to have something to give my baby daughter a bath in, that could also be cleaned and stored eaily. We only have a shower, and have limited storage at our place. This bathtub does the job admirably. I dont bother to deflate it ever, but it is light, easy enough to drain by simply tipping it into the shower, easy enough to clean by using our showerhead, as simple to dry as just leaning it against the shower wall, and simple enough to store in the corner of the bedroom behind her changing table. For less than $20, i dont see how you could do much better, and quite frankly, i dont see the need for anything more costly either. It was exactly what i needed it to be and everything i expected.

Ty Beanie Babies Vines Monkey

I ordered this monkey for my grandson because the one he had was left at the daycare and he was missing his friend. When i opened the package, it was similar to the picture, however, it had those big googley eyes, not the little black eyes as in the picture. I guess it was a newer version of the VINES. My grandson doesn't really play with it.

My daughter's nanny lost her Vines monkey so we were looking for a replacement. The monkeys we received are not the ones pictured,.

These had really large eyes and seemed to be a different or a revised version of the toy.

Seller should show accurate pictures. We're sending these back.
