This product has been a life saver. We couldn't find a toy to help relieve my teething 5 month old. I tried all kinds. I tried a cold rag. I used the liquid filled teethers. I bought a rubber one. I tried everything it seems. I purchased the Lifefactory Teether and to my surprise she loves it. It is a great texture. The silicone is thick enough to hold up but still so flexible. It is the perfect size for small little hands. She can easily maneuver it around to her mouth. There are 4 different textures to keep her interested. This is the only toy she will take out of the freezer. It isn't filled with any kind liquid so it isn't too cold for her hands. We would be lost without this toy. It goes everywhere we go. It also comes with 2 making it easy to put one in the freezer.

I really liked this teether for my baby and even gave one as a gift. Six months later I noticed that the teether was cracked in several places. Fortunately no pieces came loose before I noticed it's condition and took it away. Had a chunk come loose where it was cracked my baby could have choked. It is easy to grab and has nice different textures for teething, which would have made it great. But it became a danger to my baby with normal use.

Update: I emailed Lifefactory and they sent me new teethers. Good customer service! Hopefully the teethers will hold up this time.

After having little or no success with other teething rings/items, I started shopping around for new ones. Other teething items seem to be awkwardly shaped or big and bulky and though our baby is teething, he would work a little on some of his other teething rings/items but would get frustrated and end up chewing on his hands. He LOVES these rings. They are the perfect size. He can hold onto them easily and they are flexible and he can thereby get them into his mouth easier and position them and move them around to the areas in his mouth that need attention. He even enjoys just playing with them, even more so than some of his toys. To some extent, thy have replaced his binky as well and he'll even fall asleep while gnawing on one of these instead. We take them everywhere with us and he is a happy camper.

Radio Flyer Umbrella Accessory

I have one of these for my daughter's Discovery wagon that she just recieved for her birthday. I only got it because I thought it was my only option, and no other clamp-on umbrella would work. First of all, this umbrella is WAY TOO SMALL. The only part of your child this would shade is his/her head. And if you have more than one child, FORGET IT. I've only used it a few times, and so far it hasn't broken, like some of the reviews I read. I plan to be very careful with it. My mother-in -law had a clamp-on patio chair umbrella that was MUCH BIGGER, and when I looked at it, I decided it wouldn't work, because the clamp goes sideways, but then I thought of clamping it on the drink-holder. IT WORKED! So now I use both umbrellas. The small one for my daughter's head (clamped on the end) and the big one for the rest of her. It may look silly to some people when they see us on the street, but I don't care. I have peace of mind, and that's what's important. So this is my suggestion. If you have one, and it still works, keep it, and get a patio chair one like I did. If it has a sideways screw-on clamp, buy it, it will work if you have the Discovery wagon.Thank goodness for the drink holder. And yes, you'll still have room for your drinks.

I had high hopes for this umbrella, but it utterly disappointed me. After using it approximately 3 times, the pole is about to break in half where the little button is that extends the umbrella part. The pole is just not strong enough and will surely end up breaking in half. The spring is not very malleable, either.

I loved this umbrella and felt it an important part of my daughter's (and my) enjoyment of her wagon it shaded her from the sun, allowed her to play with her toys and look at books and gave me peace of mind knowing that she wasn't being burned to a crisp by the sun. There is a bendable portion to the post at the base, near the clip. I adjusted the angle of the umbrella quite often depending on the location of the sun. However, after only 2 months of use, the metal post on the unbrella became weakened and dented, and it finally snapped. I wish it was made to last longer. I am going to replace the broken, but will be more careful when bending it at the base and I recommend the same to anyone who buys it.

I was thrilled to find a clip-on umbrella that BENT around to cover any angle, but the first time I tried to use it (in the blazing heat during a 4th of July parade) the plastic clip snapped. Very disappointing!

We have this for our radioflyer woodsided wagon and it works very well. It's a bit on the small side, same size a regular childs umbrella, but it works. Also, the small size is about the same width as the wagon, so it's easy to fit thru any doorways, gates, etc...while in the open position that the wagon can.

I rated it 4 stars for fun since my 2 year old loves to play with it (a lot). I think it's great to have and advise anyone with this type of wagon to get it too.

Wee Gallery Art Cards for Baby

I bought these on the recommendation of a friend whose son is now 9 months for my then 2 mo old (now 3 1/2 months). I was a little put off by the price because for some reason, I thought they were playing card sized, when they arrived they are about the size of a paperback or DVD package, and very sturdy and thick. My son loves to look at these and will follow them with his eyes and by turning his head. I had borrowed some black and white books by Tana Hoban for infants from the library which have solid shapes in black and white and my son couldn't care less about those images.

As far as the garden collection, I am sure that it doesn't matter to the baby which set you choose, but you will get use out of these and they seem to be substantial enough to be passed on to another child.

Got these cards before my son now 3 months was born. Well worth the price if you have an extra 12 bucks to spend! He won't be interested in these simple b/w images for much longer, so their usefulness is very short lived. But these were the first images he was interested in and the first thing that he could track 180 degrees (moved his head all the way from right to left side, following the cards). I sing "old mcDonald" with him and the 6 cards. Not many cards, but just right for teh attention span of an infant. His eyes get big and he focuses on each card with intensity. I think it's not only the simple B/w images that keep his attention, but the cards are just big enough to block his view of other competing objects that he likes to look at (such as Mommy, or the ceiling light).

I also used these cards for his first wall pictures in his room. I scanned a few cards, then blew them up and printed them and put them in some small white PB frames I had. He loves to look at them from his crib and changing table. Again short lived. I'll probably replace the prints with something more colorful in a few months time. But it's cheap to print and it was worth the effort to have my 1 month old stare contentedly at art while I changed him.

These cards are perfect for keeping the attention of your newborn. I have a little 8 week old and I've been using these cards in his crib since he was 5 weeks old. He loves to just stare at them and observe them when he's having his tummy time or if he's just laying on his back. The contrast of the colors are perfect. I love that they are reverse colors on the other side. If he gets tired of looking at one side you just flip the card over and there's the same image but in different shades. It's great! And the cards are very durable they are not easily bendable and if they happen to get dirty they wipe off quite easily. I've gotten two other sets for him.

Our son loved these flash cards even at the age of one or two months. The card stock is sturdy and the cards still look new after frequent use. Black and white is perfect for very young infants.

Only possible con: the writing on the flash cards is cursive. Our son isn't old enough to start reading but when he is, I'm not sure the writing will be legible to him.

Overall, a great buy.

I'm happy that I found these cards on Amazon for a grandbaby. When our babies were little, we had simple waterproof pictures with red, white, and black drawings that we set inside their cribs. I was looking for something similar. These art cards are the nearest thing I could find and they are very cute. They can be hung on the wall or set in a crib or you can simply look at them with a baby, while naming the animals. They are sturdy but not waterproof. (Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars.)

I researched many walkers before purchasing this one. Its made from wood and metal and is incredible quality. Its so sturdy. My son is 28 pounds at 10 months old and for him learning to walk this is perfect. No matter how hard he pulls on it or falls while using it, it does not tip over. My son can crouch behind it and pull up to standing and it does not tip over. I think its because the handle is shaped in a way that directs any force downward to prevent any tipping. The wheels have a rubber tread on them that lets it go smoothly on carpet and slows it down on our hardwood and tile. My little boy pulled up on the handle and walked behind it (for the first time ever) the day we got it! He loves his little wagon and pushes it all over the house. We put his teddy and some blocks in there or a favorite book and he screeches with delight that hes pushing those things around. BTW the walker is great empty too...you dont have to weight it down at all like some of the plastic ones.

This is such great quality, and a beautiful product and Im so glad we got it. Its going to last for this baby and future babies and beyond.

I did a lot of reading reviews of all the wooden baby walkers and decided to go with this one just a few days before our kid's 1st birthday. It's not the $140-200 version of a wooden walker, but it's also not plastic or toxic-paint-fumed wood. I am thrilled with this purchase! The price is perfect for a well-crafted wooden cart, and with Prime shipping it arrived on her birthday as promised. Our daughter isn't walking yet on her own, but she immediately pulled up on this and took off, happy with her independence and smiling proudly. A few minutes later her friend had climbed in it, and our daughter pushed her around, both of them laughing hysterically. Obviously a toy like this should not be used unsupervised, because it could tip over and cause injury, but this really is a stable walker, low to the ground, good rubber grip on the wheels with a really well-made handle. Every day since we got it our kid spends lots of time pushing it around, then crawling in it and holding on while we push her around. Yes you will spend a good amount of time pushing your kid around in it, and the handle is kid-size, so bend your knees and try to keep your back straight. We took it outside, and she instantly started putting rocks and grass in it and pushing that around to unload it somewhere else. She also got in it one day and started propelling herself forward by rolling the wheels. It's amazing all the concepts she is putting together with this one item.

I had debated about this version vs the Original Activity Walker Supports Those First Steps, and after we realized that one is actually smaller than the blue/red one we went with this one. I'm glad we did. This one is still very small (and we have a tiny house), but if it was any smaller our daughter wouldn't be able to crawl in and out of it, which at this point is very important to her. I see her enjoying this for a long time, even after she walks solo, pushing her toys around and scaring the cats and dogs.

My family owns a toy shop and this is the ONLY baby walker we sold as you cannot find better, sturdier, safer and well designed. The handle is shaped so that babies that cannot walk yet can pull themselves up safely without the walker tipping over (even with nothing in the wagon). The wheels have a center of rubber so that they do not slide even on wooden floors, also (as my mother was most concerned about) was the wooden front being rammed into furniture the design is so well done, the wheels come out about 1" from the front so that all that hits on the furniture is the rubber of the wheels and does not leave marks (even on wood). Prices vary, but i would pay ANYTHING for this, but nicely enough, it is one of the cheapest on the market especially for wood. Good luck trying to get your hands on these though as they seem to be sold out all over the place i had to put in 7 different orders to get 1, but it is worth it!

We've been using this wagon for two years nowand it is wonderful! Heavy, so that it does not tip over when my son leans on the handlebars, but still maneuverable for a 1-3 year-old. We have been really hard on this wagonit's been used inside, outside, left out in the rain accidentally, used for rock and leaf collecting... we will need new tires for it soon, but that is more out of wear and tear. My 8 month old son loves this toy. Of course he took the ball off the top, but to my surprise he knows that it should go back and tries to put it there. He loves to make the wheels go around, either by pushing it or picking it up and turning them by hand. Also, his is a great toy for a parent to play with baby, it will travel away and baby will crawl to it. Highly recommend this as well as the Firetruck.

We started using this for tummy time at about 3 months, and our little guy has been enthralled with it ever since. He would reach over and try to touch it and this really helped him learn to turn over. Now at 4.5 months he just can't get enough of it and plays with it daily. It was a gift and we NEVER thought we'd get so much use out of it. HIGHLY recommend!!!

This toy is delightful and my 5 month old baby adores it. She laughs and becomes excited whenever I put the toy next to her. It also prevents her from throwing a fit during tummy time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This was excellent when my daughter hated tummy time we could put her on the floor where she could see the mirror and she'd happily stare at herself and bat at the toy for a good 15 20 minutes (forever in baby time). Right now she's 5 months and it's still a good distraction, but she's more interested in the tags on everything. I think it will become useful again in a month or two when she can sit up and rock it and then further down the road when we can unlock it and she can crawl after it. I don't know that it's all that educational, though. And, as in all battery operated toys, the songs will drive you batty. I liked it so much, though, that I bought one for my cousin and her new baby.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 2 1/2 months old, she played with it until she was about 9 1/2 months old. She really loved this toy and it really helped her learn to crawl. I purchased this from Target for $14.99 and in my mind it was worth every penny.

When I first purchased this toy my daughter was not liking tummy time very much at all. She HATED to be on her stomach and would get so mad and cry. We tried everything to help her enjoy tummy time but nothing worked. Finally I tried this, even though it was beyond her age level, thinking that if nothing else she could look at herself in the mirror and at the flashing lights. It worked! Instead of spending only a minute or so on her belly she was spending a full 10 minutes at a time, then 30, then soon after that we couldn't get her to lay on her back! She was crawling all over the house!

She didn't really 'chase' the snail like it says they can do very often. Sometimes I would roll it and she would go after it though. She would just lay on her belly and laugh at the mirror. When she was sitting up on her own she would lay the snail on its back and spin it around the mirror. Or push it back and forth. Or teeth on the antennae. Or just hit it like a drum. She didn't really play with the ladybug either. But she loved the music and the talking and the lights. For a baby toy she played with it for a really long time considering some of her other ones have only held her interest for 2 weeks.

It is very durable, the mirror never scratched and she used to hit it with a wooden spoon. It was easy to clean with an antibacterial wipe, and we never had to buy batteries for it. The batteries that came in it from the store are the same ones in there today. Right now I have it packed up in a box to give to a friend of mine since my daughter has outgrown it. Fisher-Price has been around for ages so its a brand I trust. My daughter has a lot of other Fisher-Price toys that we have been happy with.

I can understand why some reviewers have said this toy is not so safe. It is heavy, which is probably my only con. You definitely should not leave a small baby alone with it if you think they might try to pick it up and might drop it on their feet or knock it over on themselves. (My daughter went through a phase when she had first learned to stand where she would pick up the snail while standing and drop it just to hear it thunk on the floor. It barely missed her toes a few times so I took it away from her until she got over it) I don't think its heavy enough to cause real damage, just maybe a little boo boo, but still. At the same time, when babies are in the age range for this toy, they should never be left alone with anything ever, especially if they are playing in the floor. The best thing to do is play with your baby while they are playing with this toy (or any other toy), and that way they can't get hurt. If you are looking for a toy that you can leave your baby with so you can go wash dishes or talk on the phone or check your email or whatever, then this is definitely the wrong one. Go get an Exersaucer or a nanny. If you are willing to sit and play with your baby while they learn and explore, then this is probably a winner.

Munchkin Bobble Bee Suction Toy

My baby loves the toys. She likes all of the different sounds and motions the bee makes.

I think the suction is awful. I can apply it to the high chair and within minutes, the suction is gone and it is moving all over the tray. I even tried applying it with water but that didn't help either.

The bee does not stay in the holder, either which is good and bad. It is good because my baby can take it out to play with but bad because she can drop it in the floor.

My son is almost 7 months old and seems to like playing with this a lot but it doesn't stay in the suction base very well. It is great that it is removable, so he can play with it without the base but it comes out a little too easily which makes it frustrating when the whole point of the suction cup is so the baby's toy doesn't fall out of their hand (or get thrown across the room) and you have to chase after it. The suction base stayed great to the high chair tray and to the flat surface on his jumperoo but the bee just won't stay in his little suction hive!

This toy is great.. until your little one figures out how to pull it out of the stand. It only took my 8 month old 10 minutes to pull it of the suction cup and toss it on the ground. Kinda defeats the purpose of a suction toy.. it doesn't stay in place!!

My 5 month old daughter loves this toy but she easily rips it out of the suction cup base, which defeats the reason we bought it... for her to enjoy in her high chair. Unlike some other reviewers, we have no problem with the suction cup; it works great. But we were looking for a toy that she couldn't throw over the sides of her high chair and unfortunately it's not this toy. But since she loves it so much and it has several different activities on it to keep her entertained, it is still getting for stars.

We're football nuts in our family, so this was essential. My five-month old enjoys most of her Taggies gear, and this is no exception. She doesn't really gravitate toward it when it is on a larger playmat, as beyond a soft sound, it does not offer much incentive, but when confined to her swing or Bumbo, she'll grab the tags and even gnaw on the football itself.

I was hesitant to purchase this costume since infant sizes are so difficult to determine and the ranges on this particular costume were 0-6 and 6-12. I was in love with this costume though and finally purchased the 6-12 month. It fit perfectly! My daughter was 6months and 3 weeks, just shy of 16 pounds and 27.5 inches long. There was maybe 3 inches to spare in the feet but the body fit great. The hat was a perfect fit and her head is 17inches in circumference. Just thought I'd add some measurements so it helps the next person. It was also a nice weight, not too warm but just enough. It was soft and my daughter didn't mind having it or the hat on. The carrot rattle was a great little addition too!

Our daughter hasn't worn this yet, but it looks adorable! However, she will be 6 months old for Halloween and is long for her age, and the 0-6 size is still pretty big! So if you have a newborn, this will NOT fit!! I can't imagine her being able to wear it if she were under 6 months old!

I got this costume in size 6-12 for my daughter who is 9 months old (19 lbs and 27 inches tall) and it fit her great! There wasn't a TON of room length wise so if you have a tall baby, go one size bigger. I was able to use the hand wash cycle in the washing machine and air dry without any problems. Something a little strange about it, there are two tails one on the back and one on the hat! The one on the hat is only sewn on with two stitches so I just removed it so it wouldn't look so weird. It comes with an adorable carrot rattle as well. I had so many people tell me how cute she looked and even one that said it was the cutest costume they'd ever seen...she was a hit in this one! I highly recommend it, great fit and great quality!!

I bought this on a whim thinking it was cute. This is my baby's favorite toy and has been since he was 2 months old! I always have it on his car seat, because if he gets upset when we're in the car this toy is the one thing that distracts him and calms him down. He loves the spotted feet and smiley face. It vibrates on the way up, after you pull the draw string. The wings crinkle when you squeeze them. There is also a jingle ball inside to rattle. The stringy legs are nice and easy to work with for my baby's developing grasp. Having a baby with special needs, I've noticed that not many toys interest him = work = development. This is a keeper! We gave this to my son as a toy to take with us to eat out when he was a few months old. Now, he's 8 months and still loves it. We strap it to his wrist or the high chair to keep it from being tossed on the floor. I've had to wash it a few times though when I forget and he drops it in dirty stuff. I wash it by hand and toss it in the dryer. It still vibrates just fine. He loves the dangly legs.

I recently bought this car for my 8 month-old daughter and she absolutely LOVES it! She claps her hands and squeals up a storm as we "drive" down the street. The handle is perfect for my height and I love that it has a seatbelt in it. The "trunk" is handy for storage, (keys, wallet, burp cloth etc..) and my daughter even falls asleep in it. AMAZING! We usually take a 30 minute walk in the evening time and the minute I put her in the car to get ready to go, she is just overjoyed. This is one toy that we'll definitely get our moneys worth out of! (Already have, I think!) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

I did a lot of research on toddler push cars and decided to let the amazon reviews guide me on this purchase. I'm glad I did. The reviews are quite accurate. My 12 month old loves this car and so do the other neighborhood kids. All the little ones want their turn. I love the seat belt keeps him safe. The handle is great too. I'm tall (5' 8") and I worried that I would have to bend down to use the handle. Not at all it is the perfect height even for moms tall as me. So why 4 stars...I agree with others this little ride is quite loud on the sidewalk and driveway. In and of itself not so bad but we often find ourselves in a caravan or wagon train with lots of other moms and kids and I can't hear anybody when I'm pushing this car. I have to strain to hear, ask people to repeat themselves and finally I just stop so that I can hear. Not a reason not to buy the car...just know this going in and you can make the best of an overall awesome little ride.

If you are looking for fun, the buggy is the way to go. I bought this in April 2002 for my son and I have been using all the time! I would have to say he prefers this to his stroller, I think he likes that he is more out in the open...plus he loves to steer and beep his horn.

From a parents view I have to say I am in love with it. It was so wasy to put together, I just slid the handle in and we were off. The trunk compartment is great for holding keys, toys and juice cups. My husband and I are both short and the push handle is the perfect height for us. Every time I take Jaden somewhere I get a comment on it. The plastic wheels can be a bit noisy, but that is a small price to pay for such a cool toy.

I am not going to get rid of stroller though, you can't recline like you would in a stroller and I don't think a child could comfortably rest in the buggy. But if you are out cruising the neighborhood or playgrounds, this is the toy to have!

I just got this for my 10 month old son and he LOVES it! His grandparents have a pedal fire engine already waiting for when he is older so I was not concerned with this car's lack of a pedaling option. I think that this is perfect for my son's age considering that it has a seat belt and foot rests. He loves the trunk compartment in the front to play with when he is not riding. The push handle is wonderful for his grandparent's to use when he is at their house and it comes off easily for putting the car in my trunk. Also, so far it is not noisy like some other reviewers have stated.

The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the batteries are not replaceable. The sound box is sewn in, which is probably a good idea. Just not for me. All in all. I'd recommend this for any Angry Birds fan.

My son wanted to be an angry bird for Halloween. The shape of the costume didn't really stay round and not to many people even knew who he was. I am not sure if that was the costumes fault of if they didn't know who the pig was on angry birds.

My son is 7, a little on the younger age for this costume, but he nor I liked the fit at all. In order to make it appear round as in the picture, he had to hold his arms out. The moment he puts his arm by his side it loses the shape all together and looks quite odd.

Imaginarium Wooden Stacking Train

My 16 month old son received this in his 2013 Easter Basket. He absolutely loves it, so much in fact, that he actually runs after the pieces, picks them up and returns to his playstation, if they accidentally hit the floor. He loves constructing a train and moving them around. When we first presented it to him he was a little overwhelmed with all the pieces so we gave him just a portion of the train and a few of the pieces until he got the hang of it then introduced the rest of it to him later. Great wooden toy to have in your toybox.
