Lamaze Play & Grow Pupsqueak Take Along Toy

I think this neon dog is cute. But his squeaker is kind of hard to squeeze, even for me. My baby (who is now 5 months) will stare at him and grab the bone. But there isn't a whole lot else she can do with him. I will squeeze his nose and he makes some barking sounds which she stares at, but that's about it. I think other Lamaze animals are probably better. We have a doll one that my baby likes better b/c it has rings and other attachments to grab at.

My daughter loves Pupsqueak. It is attached to her carseat, so it travels everywhere with us. She is constantly playing with/chewing on the crinkly ears. She also really likes it when I bounce it on the table to make it squeak. Nice, bright colors. Not too big and not too small. Good traveling toy.

Jumbo Lacing Shapes Classic Made in USA Wood Toy

I ordered these lacing shapes for my 2 year old grandaughter. On appearance, they were great; however, once one attempted to "string" the lace through the blocks, it was apparent that the insides of the shapes were rough, and the lacing caught on the rough edges. We used a file to smooth the interior sides of the blocks, bur we were cautious because we did not want to break the paint finish. I ended up purchasing leather boot laces that would not catch on the imperfections.

The item was exactly as I expected and hoped it would be. It was perfect for my 19 month old grandson.

I purchased these stringing beads for my mother who is in a memory care unit. I found them to be and excellent product. Very well made and finished. The strings were a bit too thick for older people so i bought some neon athletic laces for the resident to string the beads on. They really love to string beads!!! Tiny Love Musical Nature Stroll Toy Bar

I purchased this stroller activity toy bar for my active baby boy when he was 3 months old. He took to it immediately, and within a minute or so started pulling on the little strawberry-shaped pull that activates the spinning propeller. The spinning propeller has decals on both sides so it's interesting from either side. He loved looking through the Lion "Prism", he'd look through and smile and laugh. He loved spinning the Parrot spinner, at 3 months, it was totally his skill level so it always gave him something active to do to distract him from being frustrated. At the beginning, I set aside the little musical mirror that hangs from the Lion Prism, mainly because the music is on the loud side, it activates itself when it hits something, or you press it, and without fail, it was always went off once the baby fell asleep. There's no way to adjust the volume level or even turn it off. Now at 14 months, we enjoy playing with the musical mirror, just not on the stroller....

How does it fit onto the strollers? Place the little blue clamps onto a spot on each side of your carseat/carriage. Turn the orange twist knobs, they tighten down the clamps. The whole thing has four bend points across the arch (after each toy) so that it can be moved and adjusted into a number of shapes.

Strollers: I used this for six months on my Graco Snugride carseat/Graco Snugrider stroller combo, it tightens on fine. Then I moved it to my Peg Perego Pliko P3, where it also fits fine. On the Graco it was useful because it forms a frame so that I can drape a nursing cover over the existing sunshade and the Toy Bar to extend the sun shade like a little tent over him so that he was completely out of the sun and could sleep in peace.

We still use it at 14 months on the Peg Perego to do the same thing, and it forms a little tent in from of him (desert sun....) but he can still look out to the side as he's falling asleep, so the Toy Bar prevents him from losing his entire view....

Travel: This was useful to have on our carseat on the plane when we took quite a few long flights.

Compare to Tiny Love Sunny Stroll Toy Bar: It's much better than Tiny Love Sunny Stroll Toy Bar (which we also own): If you're deciding between the Musical Nature Stroll and the Sunny Stroll Toy Bar, then definitely buy the Musical Nature Stroll (even if it's more expensive...) A few reasons:

1. The Strawberry-shaped pull that activates the spinning propeller is much easier for a young baby (3-4 months) to grasp vs. the Sunny Stroll rattly-birdy shaped ball. On the Sunny Stroll, he almost never pulled the propeller, on the Musical Nature, he was always playing with it.

2. Musical Nature Stroll includes the little hanging mirror that is also musical, which we still have fun with today (although as a minus, there's no way to shut it off....see above). The Sunny Stroll mirror isn't musical. The mirrors are plastic on both, he never really looks in them as mirrors.

3. The little Lion "Prism" on the Musical Nature Stroll was always captivating for my baby, I think he likes Lions. He never showed the same interest in the little Sun Prism, the shape or the colors just aren't as eye-catching.

4. The Musical Nature's Parrot Spinner, again, is just that bit more interesting. The little butterfly hangs from it. On the Sunny Stroll, there's a Butterfly Spinner, and then a butterfly hanging from it, and it always strikes me as being a bit boring, because it's a butterfly with a butterfly, i.e. the concept is duplicated.

Overall, the Musical Nature Stroll was one of the best purchases we made. It's very adjustable and versatile and we still use it on the stroller in conjunction with a cover to keep the sun off the baby.

This is a really cute toy. My 5 1/2 month old daughter seemed interested in it when I took it out of the package. Unfortunately it didn't fit on my carseat (Britax Boulevard carseat sides too wide) or stroller (UppaBaby G-Luxe bad angle). I had to return it.

We bought this for our son mainly to use on long car rides. The item is well made, the colors are perfect, and we love being able to pretty much bend it any way we want. When we first got it, he was about 11 weeks old so we just attached it in the most upright position and he would just stare at it. Now that he's older, we set it a little lower so he can grab the attachments and use his feet to play with it. He grabs and chews on the butterfly and the rubber strawberry. Pulling on the little strawberry makes the fan spin. He also kicks at the mirror in the middle. If he kicks it hard enough, it plays a little tune. You have to hit it pretty hard to get the music to play though so it's something for younger babies to grow with. I like that it has two rattles, one inside the bird and the other inside the back of the mirror. So, when we're driving he always has some noise keeping his attention even if he's not actively playing with the toy. It's also great for getting his attention when he's being fussy about being placed in the car seat. Once I place it over the car seat, he instantly quiets down and starts playing with his toy. He loves it and we do too!

Encouraged by the positive reviews I purchased this activity arch for my son when he was 6 weeks old. He was quite alert baby from the beginning and he loved staring at the colorful toys attached to the bar, especially at the spinning propeller. Now he is almost 4 months old and I think now he can fully appreciate the versatility of this wonderful toy! I do not want to repeat the detailed description of the toy bar as it was already depicted beautifully in other reviews. Let me just say my son loves grabbing the hanging music mirror, squeezing the rustling butterfly and staring and touching lion prism, pull the propeller rope. This is a really great product!

Since she has a coed class I used the mickey mouse versions for the boys. Everything looked great and the children enjoyed themselves. That's all that mattered to me.

Skip Hop Treetop Friends Friendly Forest Activity Mirror

The item itself is very cute looking, the little figures squeek but the mirror looks very distorted definitely not like pictured where baby can see herself clearly. But I have noticed that with pretty much all baby mirror toys.

It is definitely not as sturdy as I hoped it would be. Just a little fingerpush and it collapses. The straps to hold on a bedrail etc. could be a bit longer as well as it keeps coming off due to the pull on the velcro.

I probably would not buy this again. My baby has not even shown any interest in it. And we have had this since she was about 6 months. (She now is almost 12 months)

There are definitely better toys out there that entertain much better... But if you just want to buy it for looks, it is definitely worth the money LOL

We have some other toys by Skip Hop and they are cute as can be. This mirror... not so much. I read the other reviews which seemed to be conflicting with each other, so I decided to buy this and decide for myself. We ended up returning this toy, and here's why:

1. We have the set of three owls that match the little owls on this mirror. However, the colors on this toy seem much more faded or washed out than those owls--not quite as vibrant.

2. The entire mirror is rather upright and not very substantial. I did not actually take it out of the packaging, because I knew we were taking it back, but if we had, I could just foresee what my son would do: grab the owls, yank on them, and pull the whole mirror over on his head. Granted, it wouldn't hurt him--bought we wanted a mirror for him to look at himself in, and I just didn't see this toy providing that.

3. The little bits of grass that cover the mirror at the bottom cover too much. For a baby who is just creeping or just rolling over, there's no way they'd be able to see themselves in this mirror.

4. Here is the biggest reason we sent this back. The mirror is like a funhouse mirror. It doesn't give a real reflection. My son loved to look at himself in the bathroom mirrors, so we wanted to give him a toy mirror he could use regularly. We have other toys with better mirrors than this one. WAY better. That is the whole reason we bought this and since it didn't perform that basic function, we returned it.

Some other reviewers thought this was cheap or poor quality. The mirror is not like a real mirror (not as clear) because it is a baby toy, so it is exactly what I expected it to be.

It has a stand and also straps to attach it to a crib. We stand it up and sit it in front of baby during tummy time and she can see herself just fine. She loves the mirror. We sometimes put it just out of her reach to encourage crawling. She likes to play with the "grass" and pull the little squeaky owls off (which are stuck to the mirror with velcro.

Overall, I would say that this is a good, safe toy for baby. It is also attractive and entertaining. I would buy it again.

Everyone said this costume was too big but I didn't believe it. I bought the smallest one available for my son who is 4 and half. He is average size and has a spiderman costume from Costco and Target and it fits perfectly. This one is waaaaay too big. It is sloppy actually. I would suggest if your son is 6 or 7 consider the small unless he is BIG. The picture might show a small. My son nevertheless loves the costume so that is the upside!

The way we happened upon this toy was funny. We hosted a party and friends with a little one brought this toy along. Well, they forgot it at our house! Our daughter loved it so much that we bought her one. She enjoys it most when traveling in her car seat. She can push the buttons, they light up and make noises. So she likes the continual feedback that what she is doing is actually affecting something.

Some people's reviews of this product say the toy is too quiet. On the contrary I think it is the perfect level of sound. It's enough for baby to hear it, but not annoying to us. If in the car we can barely hear it in the front seat, but we can hear the faint noises so we know that she is busy "calling her friends".

And, for the price this is just an all around great value.

This toy has been a lifesaver for a 10+ month old who squirms through diaper changes.. he is content to play/listen while mom takes care of business & doesn't put up a fight. It's especially great because the keys light up and that helps with those middle-of-the-night diaper changes too. It has held his interest for several months now & a great toy to throw in the diaper bag when we're on the go. Ours accidentally went through the washing machine so I'm so glad to be able to find a replacement. I would definitely recommend it!

Taggies Little Taggies Blanket, Pink Bubbles

After receiving two or three as gifts when my daughter was born, this is now my goto gift. Fisher-Price Stacking Vehicle Fire Truck

I ordered this set for my grandson's 1st birthday. HE LOVES IT! Derek is really into all types of cars right now and I knew Fischer Price would be safe as all toys make their way into the mouth when children are young. The firetruck makes a honking sound when you first push the button on top, then the 2nd time you push the button it plays a little song. The cars make sounds when you push the button people on top while stacking them too. Derek and his 2 yr old cousin both had so much fun playing with these toys all afternoon, along with the Fischer Price tractor and stacking farm animals that I got for my elderly parents to give to him. Both sets say "6 months +" on the packages but they clearly kept a 1 yr old and 2 yr old entertained for hours!

Step2 Push Around Buggy (Red)

I recently bought this car for my 8 month-old daughter and she absolutely LOVES it! She claps her hands and squeals up a storm as we "drive" down the street. The handle is perfect for my height and I love that it has a seatbelt in it. The "trunk" is handy for storage, (keys, wallet, burp cloth etc..) and my daughter even falls asleep in it. AMAZING! We usually take a 30 minute walk in the evening time and the minute I put her in the car to get ready to go, she is just overjoyed. This is one toy that we'll definitely get our moneys worth out of! (Already have, I think!) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

I did a lot of research on toddler push cars and decided to let the amazon reviews guide me on this purchase. I'm glad I did. The reviews are quite accurate. My 12 month old loves this car and so do the other neighborhood kids. All the little ones want their turn. I love the seat belt keeps him safe. The handle is great too. I'm tall (5' 8") and I worried that I would have to bend down to use the handle. Not at all it is the perfect height even for moms tall as me. So why 4 stars...I agree with others this little ride is quite loud on the sidewalk and driveway. In and of itself not so bad but we often find ourselves in a caravan or wagon train with lots of other moms and kids and I can't hear anybody when I'm pushing this car. I have to strain to hear, ask people to repeat themselves and finally I just stop so that I can hear. Not a reason not to buy the car...just know this going in and you can make the best of an overall awesome little ride.

If you are looking for fun, the buggy is the way to go. I bought this in April 2002 for my son and I have been using all the time! I would have to say he prefers this to his stroller, I think he likes that he is more out in the open...plus he loves to steer and beep his horn.

From a parents view I have to say I am in love with it. It was so wasy to put together, I just slid the handle in and we were off. The trunk compartment is great for holding keys, toys and juice cups. My husband and I are both short and the push handle is the perfect height for us. Every time I take Jaden somewhere I get a comment on it. The plastic wheels can be a bit noisy, but that is a small price to pay for such a cool toy.

I am not going to get rid of stroller though, you can't recline like you would in a stroller and I don't think a child could comfortably rest in the buggy. But if you are out cruising the neighborhood or playgrounds, this is the toy to have!

I just got this for my 10 month old son and he LOVES it! His grandparents have a pedal fire engine already waiting for when he is older so I was not concerned with this car's lack of a pedaling option. I think that this is perfect for my son's age considering that it has a seat belt and foot rests. He loves the trunk compartment in the front to play with when he is not riding. The push handle is wonderful for his grandparent's to use when he is at their house and it comes off easily for putting the car in my trunk. Also, so far it is not noisy like some other reviewers have stated.

Little Tikes 3-in-1 Trike (Purple)

Even with both of my hands on the handle, this thing nearly tipped over NUMEROUS times, even on flat terrain. It DID tip over once (during my baby's final ride), but luckily we were still on carpet. However, he still hit his head. He just leaned over a little bit to reach for something and down he went. I promptly returned it to Costco. It's a shame they made the center-of-gravity on this toy so high because babies really love it, especially if you get the one with the steering wheel, like I did. VERY DANGEROUS!!! I'm guessing this toy will be recalled at some point.

I bought this for my daughter's first birthday and she LOVES it! The steering is NOT the best, and is actually pretty tricky, but she loves it, so I'll put up with it! She doesn't really like the shade being anywhere but over her because she wants to see everything, so I haven't had a chance to really see how well that works for her! Other than that I wish the dump bucket was a little stronger...she dumps it all the time on accident and it scares her.

I would definitely recommend it despite the tricky steering! It's worth the smile on her face!

I bought this for my daughters 1st birthday.. she loves it. But I'm going to tell you, if you have any hand problems then dont buy this. It isnt easy to control for the adult pushing. My daughter is 2. Wished I had bought this earlier as it would have saved my back. I like that you can disconnect the wheels so your child's legs don't get caught in the pedals. Also like the feet rests as another option. I can steer with the back handle to keep her straight. She is now starting to pedal herself so I can help her when needed. Love the flexibility and the fact the bike grows with you. Found it cheaper than most places & only paid $79. Exactly what I was looking for at a great price.

I bought this for my daughter to use with her water table and it has been great. We talk about colors, sizes, numbers and the amount of water you can add in each cup. I would recommend this product even for a sand box or just to use as an alternative to standard blocks.

With an overload of toddler toys passed down from our first grandson for our second to play with, we decided to add to our bath toy collection for #2's first birthday. Both of our little guys LOVE taking their baths, and this little toy was a great addition to the gift box... very colorful, and each little tulip shaped cup has different configurations of holes in the bottom which makes the water sprinkle out in different ways. We also play with them on the floor, since you can stack them on top of each other to make a tower (one of his favorite things at this stage is knocking over any kind of tower Grandma, Grandpa or Big Brother builds for him!), and each one fits inside another for compact storage. This helped calm the fears a baby sometimes has when he graduates in our case, from the cozy security of the kitchen sink! to what must feel like an ocean to him in an adult bathtub. This was a great purchase.

I bought this stuffed Cairn Terrier for my mother, who is suffering from dementia/alzheimer's. My mother had to give up her "real-life" dog (to me, her daughter). The first night my mother had the stuffed dog, she thought it was real. She named it after turning it over to make she it was a girl!

The item does look cute but doesn't look as fresh as in the pic. The one I received was not clean. It had dirt especially around the cross design. I bought this as a baptism gift but cannot present it now because it looks like its been used before. May be I got a piece which was returned by someone else.

Blue Dragon

My grand daughter asked me for a blue fire breathing dragon with a purple dress on. This is what I came up with. It is really cute. She likes it. It was a hit on Christmas day. She played with this the most. She said he is related to the dinosaurs.... Lol. The color is just as you see and the body is soft BUT,its STRUCTURE is very hard. So, no it can not sleep in the bed. Too hard. If you have an aggressive child, this is a no go. The sound is very reasonable. It only makes the sound when you squeeze the tummy. So you do get a break. Lol. Overall, I think it was awesome. It came super quick and was perfect. Your baby will like it alot.

Dragons were the mascot for the school where I taught for over 20 years, and I began collecting them early in my career. When I retired a few years ago, I had collected hundreds of Dragons. But none is as BLUE or as sweet-looking as the Blue Dragon. My 3-year-old grandson gravitates to this toy before any other because of bright blue, plush skin and irridescent wings. Though she isn't mechanical or technically advanced, she has a sweet face and loving "disposition" that encourage imaginative play. I would recommend her for children under the age of 8--or for all collectors of Dragon Blues.
