Toy Story Infant Alien Classic Costume

My kids are going to be buzz lightyear and the alien this year. The outfit is very small i'd say it would fit a normal 6-12 month baby. My son is 4 months but he is very big. I do not think this would fit a baby 15-18 months old (just look at the picture,the baby is quite young and it barely fits him) the Hat is huge, much to large for a baby, but it can easily be fixed with safety pins (if the baby will keep it on at all.

I bought this in a 12-18 mos. size for my grandson. This is the size range he wears in everything else. The body suit should have been sized at 9-12 months at best, closer to just a 9mos. However, the headpiece was too big on a XXL Adult! Needless to say, it's useless.

I purchased this costume despite the reviews. It was so cute on my 13 month old and surprisingly he kept the headpiece on most of the night. After reading the reviews many said the suit ran small, I agree. However it fit my little guy perfect but he's on the small side. The headpiece is rather large but I just moved the velcro to fit my son's head. He looked adorable and we got many compliments.

I got this playset for my little sister for her birthday. She really likes farm animals and enjoyed playing with this toy. It doesn't make noise, which I thought it did when I bought it, but she made the noises herself and so it was alright. I recommend this toy.

This is a well constructed and beautiful toy. The wood is smooth, the colors are bright, and my 5-month old loves it. I'm just happy that we don't have to put one of those ugly plastic contraptions in the middle of the living room! We just put down a quilt anywhere and it works. I have just one criticism: the beeswax finish, which is smooth and lovely, smells like urine. In fact, we thought the dog had peed somewhere until we figured out it was the play gym! I tried airing it outside and wiping it down with a damp washcloth, but no luck. Now that we know what the odor is, it is more tolerable, but I do explain it to visitors so they don't think my house smells like pee.

We love our wooden play gym. I was very impressed with the quality, it went together easily and is very sturdy. The wood finish is smooth, and unlike the other reviewer, ours does NOT smell like urine, thank goodness!

Precious Moments Prayer Pal - Boy in Pajamas

We got one of these for my son when he was born he just turned 5 and the batteries finally gave out so we had to replace it (my 3.5 yr old has his own). It is an important part of our bedtime routine and even travels with us so it can "watch over" my son while he sleeps. I wouldn't recommend it as a toy, since squeezing it illicits the prayer.

I personally thought the doll was creepy, but my nephew absolutely loved it. I think the combination of the big eyes, little lispy kid voice, and the simple fact that its a doll just got to me. But it did the job, in that my nephew and extremely religious sister were happy!

Hape Little Copter

This is a great size for little hands, seems very durable and well built. Simple, not a lot of parts to get broken! Easy to spin propeller (which my son loves!) very cute toy:)

Nice quality solid construction and no issues with paint coming off or parts breaking so far (a few months after purchase). Unlike what one of the other reviewers reported, our propeller spins fine so she must have gotten a lemon. I also bought the Little Dump Truck and Little Plane, but out of the three this one is my 12mo old's favorite, I think because of the propeller. If you only want to get one I recommend this one, but if you're interested in getting the whole set I don't think you can go wrong there either! Very pleased with the Hape products I have purchased excellent quality wooden toys that seem like they'll really last.

Bought 2 sets for 2 grandsons. Gave them the sets today and they played with them immediately. They are a good size, very easy to manipulate, and we had a great learning experience as well as make-believe scenerios. The boys learned what the ax was used for and how and when to utilize the breathing apparatus as well as the fire extinguisher. The six-year old came up with his own scenerios for the extinguisher. The three-year old put them to use in their four-story fire/safety station. I loved how "green" they were!

My husband is a fireman so we have lots of toys at our house that are firefighter themed. These little guys fit right in. The uniform is simple, yet realistic. They stand up easily for lots of fun house of pretend. The arms and legs are made out of some type of thick poseable wire which is covered with nylon cording. The clothing is mostly permanent due to the head and the feet size, so losing the uniform would be difficult. The head and feet are made of a strong wood and that seem to be able to take some rough play. I love this type toy, because it promotes imagination.

Radio Flyer Little Red Wagon

This wagon is a great size for a 1 year old to pull around the house. However, the wheels on our wagon do not roll easily. Maybe after time, they will loosen up. Still, my 16 month old son drags the wagon around the house. Just big enough for a couple of Barbies which is what my daughter puts in it. In summary this wagon could be better but is not terrible. Just wished the wheels rolled better.

This little wagon is adorable but that's about it! It's teeny tiny. The handle is so short that my 1 1/2 year old cannot pull it without stooping a bit. It often turns over on its side when changing directions. In my opinion, this wagon is better for looking at than playing with. It would look really cute in a boys room on top of a dresser with a stuffed animal in it.

My one year old loved to pull this around inside the house. That was 5 years ago and now his little sister is enjoying it. Because we rarely used it outside it's still pristine. It is small but great for driving around a small set of books and toys. A nice prop for toddler photos too... a small bouquet of flowers, fall leaves and pumpkin, etc... My fondest memory of this wagon was seeing Daddy pulling the large red wagon full of firewood while our two year old pulled a pieces of kindling in his. Great male bonding and so adorable!

This was intended to be a toy for a toddler but is more like a display or theme container. Is not suitable as a real wagon.

It will only serve as a pull toy for a short time in that the handle is too short for most children to comfortably pull.

Like most wagons it has a tendency to tip over when turned sharply to right or left. Not quite big enough for a child to ride in and would not be safe to do so. Stability will be a problem for toddlers. This will be frustrating to a child.

We bought this for our nursery. Although the baby hasn't arrived yet I've used it while grading papers (using the snake table). It was cool because I could switch which way I wanted to sit. I hoped that my grandsons...aged 4 and 1...would love these. They love animals. They are active little boys so I was hoping they would love the ability to climb, crawl, and jump. The 4 yr. old created obstacle courses with this elephant and the other animals I ordered for them. My 1 yr. old took the 3 layered fish and promptly sat on it, then started rolling it around the room. Before the evening was over, he was standing on it. Both boys crawled over the animals, rearranged them, then crawled all over again. All the adults in the room wished we could do the same. They are strong enough for adults to sit on the sides. One relative wasn't surprised when she heard they were made in Denmark. She said the Danes are noted for having a unique sense of function and beauty.

I guess I am going to be a grandma who spoils her grandsons, but I can see years of joyful, creative play with these products. I can't wait until more of the animals types shown on the Danish web site arrive in America.

I bought these beads for my 9 month old daughter and she just loves them! There are 12 of them and they are grouped together using elastic and they are bigger than what I had pictured. They are so bright and colorful and feel wonderful in your hands. The beads are perfect size for little hands. We take them everywhere we go and I even find my 9 year old daughter playing and handling them as well. My son got this for Christmas when he was just under six months old. At the time he was sitting up. He instantly liked playing with it and would sit in front of it for quite awhile gumming the shapes and pushing buttons. At 7 months he was crawling and would still sit in front of this for quite awhile, and he started to enjoy taking the shapes out of the tray. I would put them in their slots and he'd take them out the bottom. Now at 8.5 months he can put the circle into the correct slot himself. He still gets a lot of enjoyment out of putting things inside and taking them out. He puts things in that don't belong and tries to put all three shapes in the circle slot. This toy holds his attention longer than any other. My only complaint is that the shapes are awfully hard to push into their slots due to the little tabs that cue the music. My son can't push them in all the way without help.

Overall a great toy and it's definitely teaching him about shapes!

We got the music center as a gift when the baby was 8 months. From the very beginning my daughter felt in love with it. She doesn't use the shapes yet, but she definitely enjoys the music parts. She is 9 months now and she plays with it every day. Her favourite play is to press a key to start the music and then stand up and dance holding onto the handle (on the right). The only thing is that the toy is too tall, so when baby is using it to stand up it can fall. To avoid this I put it close to some furniture (cabinet or low bed) the way that the back part of the toy goes underneath the cabinet. This way even if my baby is pulling on the top of the toy it moves, but does not fall.

There is a little yellow piece that attaches to the top of the cymbal and it easily popped off and my 8 month old daughter almost choked on it!! The toy was brand new and she took the part off herself, I was so lucky that I was sitting right there and was able to quickly get it out of her mouth. I sent an email to the manufacturer but I would hate for anyone else to buy this product and have a child choke.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Counting Friends Phone

My child received this toy as gift. As other reviewers pointed out, the phone cord is too short, which most of us assume is due to strangulation concerns. (So why did they bother to put one?) One parent reviewer said she cut the cord which makes it more like a cordless house phone. I may do this, though we'll have to attempt to keep up with it, at least she can use it.

The pull-toy string has nothing on the end to keep it from fraying. Could they have tied off the end without putting small parts? I don't know. I tied a knot at the end to see if that helps. It seems strange to have a phone as a pull-toy, anyway, and it does nothing to motivate you pull it (no music, no flapping or moving parts like other pull toys.) I tried pulling it with my one-year-old, but it bored her quickly. She does like the plastic flip cards at the top, which sing when you change them, and she likes pushing the buttons. I would not recommend this toy as a pull toy or toy phone. You can find much better ones for your money.

My 12 Month old received this as a Christmas gift and was very excited to use it. The problem is that everytime he tried to put the handset to his ear, the whole phone had to come along with it....the cord is too short.

I understand that longer cords can be choking hazards, yet it has a VERY long cord that is attached to the front to be used to pull the phone along the floor. My child has never attempted to pull that cord (yet) and doesn't even pay attention to it. He wants to pick up the handset and put it to his ear.

So.....I cut the cord off the handset so it's free standing now and he loves it. Just have to watch to make sure it doesn't get lost. :)

Ok...Well I must first say that I only paid $4.00 for this at a children's consignment shop...and good thing b/c to me-thats all it's worth! I really didnt notice it at first glace that there is no zero...and that as another reviewer said,the phone cord is ridiculously short!! Upon getting the toy home & giving it to my son to play with,he goes to grab the phone & the entire toy FLINGS into the air & almost Bops him in the head b/c the darn cord is SO short. Very cute! The twin boys (almost 3) I watch love it. They always stack it differently. It's a much nicer version of the plastic rings I had as a child & I won't worry about the plastic for my little one. Might be better to glue down the stick & egg piece for younger kids but then you have to worry about the rod sticking straight up it's not sharp but unsafe for little ones.

i was surprised at the size of this product. i didn't note it's size prior to buying it. i don't know if it would've affected my choice to purchase as it is very visually pleasing. my son is 14 mos but still doesn't seem too thrilled with the toy. i wish that the center rod was fixed to the base. it just always seems to be in several different pieces.

Careplay Ride-On Play Critter

I got this toy for my 11 month old daugther to help improve her walking. She will not sit in her walker so I thought this would be more fun for her. She did learn fast how to push herself in it (it took her a few days) she likes to push it more than ride it, but it goes to fast for her to push it alone so I have to hold her hand. I looked for a lot of walking/riding toys and most seemed flimzy or not study enough, but this riding toy is pretty sturdy. It's kind of a low to the ground toy. My daugther just turned one and she's already getting too tall for it (her feet drag when she tries to push it, but she is a little taller than average).

We got this for our 15 month old son this past Christmas. I wanted a push/ride toy for him to have on our patio outside since we don't have a yard and we live in a small apartment. I wanted one that wouldn't get water inside all the parts and that would hold up to weather and abuse. This was perfect. It is well made with big wheels and a wide enough base that I have never had to worry about it toppling over on him. It requires no assembly, which is an added bonus. It doesn't have all the gizmos and features as a lot of other similar toys but that was actually part of the appeal to me. Overall, I am happy we went with this product.

I love this ride-on toy. I had been looking around in target, toys r us etc for a simple ride-on, but they all had really fancy expensive things. This one is great. Inexpensive, simple and very sturdy, and my 18 month old loves scooting around on it on the deck. It's only weakness is that it doesn't really steer, but she figured out pretty quickly to just get off and move it when she runs into something. It seems more or less unbreakable to me, and totally weatherproof. I definitely recommend it for entertaining active toddlers.

This is a very sturdy toy for a 1 year old who is not yet walking stably. It is made of very thick plastic and does not tip over like most plastic toys do. My daughter is able to sit in it and have her feet touch the floor and also push it as well. She actually likes to sit backwards, facing the higher end and it's still comfortable for her and she likes to push both ends and it works fine either way. We use this at a community center in our neighborhood and they only have quality toys there. I also see older kids (2-3) play with it, too. If I had a large backyard, I would totally get this! I highly recommend it.

My son's pre school has CarePlay riding toys and he loved them when he was 2-3. One day when his little sister, who was not quite one,was visiting school she fell in love with the purple puppy and wouldn't stop pushing it around. The school administrator saw how much fun she was having and let us take one home to use until I could buy one for her. We have now had the toy for a few months and she still plays with it every day.
