This little set includes super sturdy instruments for five kids to form a marching band. My children (ages 3.5 and 1.5) and their friends love marching in a line, dancing and singing. Other sets at big name stores seemed very poorly manufactured and likely to be destroyed very easily, not to mention the safety hazard with the younger set. Hang the drum around you neck and find the beat, shake the shaker, clap the clapper, jingle the bells, rock the tambourine, play the ladybug xylophone and have a blast.

My 1 year old son just received this for his birthday & it's one of his favorite toys. He loves it & it's the first thing he goes to every morning. He takes the lid off & pulls all the instruments out to find what he wants to play with. Each instrument is child friendly & looks like a different bug. All the toys are easy for small children to grip. It includes a drum & drumsticks, tambourine, bells, maracas, and a xylophone type toy with a little stick that I think is a little dangerous for small children. My son uses the drumsticks on various surfaces & since they're plastic, they don't scratch the surface. I also wish that it included a pair of cymbals. Other than this, I think it's a great set & can be used for many years to come. It's a great value for the money. And with the set, you receive a year subscription to Parents magazine, which is a great offer.

My 15 month old LOVES the Ant bells, bee-shaker & Drum features. He also uses it as a seat when the lid is on and enjoys fitting inside the drum when empty! It's been a little over 4 months now and he still runs to it! The drum sticks have little rubber bumbs on them for better infant grip. We implement the "drumming" on many different surfaces so he can hear the different sounds on different surfaces. The toys are easy to disinfect. We usually save this toy for a rainy day to "beat" the gloomy blahs!

I bought this toy set for my kids years ago and it's been so much fun! HOWEVER, the design issues surrounding the Bee Bop Band have plagued this toy and the companies who make it (Battat & Parents Magazine). First, the company was ordered to replace the drum sticks due to unsafe design (tendency to shatter at the tip). I was ok with that, because they were being responsible in getting the defective toys out of the hands of children.

However, I recently discovered that the ladybug xylophone that was in my set is No Longer Included in the current set. There's no mention of why or contact to parents to inform them to remove it from play due to its tendency to break into many small and sharp pieces. I had not realized that it was not in the current model until I called Battat to report a problem with the xylophone.

I knew there might be a problem since the number on the label no longer worked and I had to look them up on the internet. It foreshadowed the difficulty I would have in being able to talk to a human. After leaving several messages and some creative dialing (random number pushing in hope of connecting to anyone human in their mailbox system), I spoke with a man who assured me he would give a note personally to Carrie (the one I'd left many messages for. I received a call 48 hours later from Carrie informing me that the xylophone had not been included in the set for the last 3 years AND that Parents went out of business in 2010, so they don't have anyone to report this incident to. She said she'd inform the president of the company and his secretary. After that, it was out of her hands.

So, the xylophone was excluded from the set 3 years ago without telling anyone who already owns the set why, or warned to watch for certain vulnerabilities. That is wrong! And since one partnering company is 'out of business', the other acts incapacitated and washes their hands of it? No wonder there are so many lawyers. I'm just thankful that my baby didn't ingest or choke on it, that I was there to see it happen and protect my child. Buyer BEWARE! Not a good track record for this set! I hope and pray that the company acts responsibly about this hazard before a child is harmed. But since the xylophone was excluded a few years ago, I wouldn't be surprised if a child was already hurt and they kept it quiet after the drum stick fiasco that cost them dearly ($150,000 in fines and voluntary recall of 300,000 sets.

I'm hoping they do the right thing and make this public knowledge protecting children. Looking into contacting the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission myself, like the other 25 people did to get Battat to recall the drumsticks the first time. I bought the monkey blanket because It was cute and would go well with other carter's monkey theme items I purchased. However I thought I was getting a brown monkey holding a grey blanket. Instead the entire blanket was brown, no grey at all. It is still cute but I was looking forward to the grey and brown combination that would have coordinated well with the bananas over mommy carter's bibs,burp cloths and onesies that I purchased. This is an extremely durable puzzle with pieces that fit well, but not too tightly, into their places providing an excellent challenge for my one-year-old.

My 15 month old daughter loves the large knobs on this colorful puzzle. Being fascinated with animals and aquatic life makes this puzzle a real draw for her. Although she struggles to get the pieces back in the puzzle due to her limited dexterity at this time, it doesn't deter her from playing with it at all! She has discovered that the pieces make great noise makers, too, when they are clapped together. The wood is a bit soft; so it will show indentations over time. However, it is holding up well so far... even through teething!

This is great for a first puzzle. Between 11 and 12 months my daughter started becoming interested in putting items in boxes so I bought her some Melissa and Doug puzzles after doing my research (although some of these are made in china they undergo strict testing). These pieces are fine unless your baby bites his/her toys--umm, every baby I know!--which may be why they are recommended for 2 year olds, but I am having trouble imagining what 2 year old would play with this boring puzzle. My daughter (10 months) likes it a lot, but she bit the head off the turtle in 10 minutes and now wants to gnaw the rest of the coloring off the other pieces. Sure, it's entertaining, but I don't want the printed paper in her tummy!

Just pulled this out of the box. Size and color are great for my 18 month old. But the puzzle is wrapped in a tight clear plastic, and I can see three places where the fish sticker is already peeling. (This is not painted!) And right next to the tag stating this is wood is a tear in the plastic where the pressed paper/pseudo-wood/possibly MDF material is pealing apart in about 15 layers. Not even opened or touched by my child and it's already coming apart. What a disappointment! I will be returning this immediately, unopened.

One Step Ahead / Dress up Doll, Boy

This is a great doll for little boys. The clothes are brighly colored and it is educational, so it doesn't look "girly." Our son is 2-1/2 and has nicknamed the doll "Ernie." He loves to zip/unzip the coat and to put the hood up/down. He isn't able to do the fastening of the pockets or shoes (it's harder to do when you aren't the one wearing the items!), but he likes to try to get Ernie dressed. (The coat, shorts, shoes, and watch come off. The doll is also wearing non-removeable socks and under clothes.) The ball cap is attached by a thread that could probably be clipped, but I'm not sure the hat would stay on. We left it alone so it wouldn't get lost. Overall, a very cute doll, nice product, and I'm happy with it.

I bought this my my 4 year old, who was having difficulty with zippers and buttons. He liked the boy doll and began to check it out. It has a lot of nice snaps, velcro, zips, ties and such. The ONLY complaint I have is that the button hole is a bit tight. For a little one just trying to learn, it is discouraging when they can't manipulate the button through the tight hole, it could be a bit looser. But after zipping and buttoning for a few days, he was more confident a attempting these tasks on his own. He now buttons his PJ's on his own, although zippers on his coat are a bit tricky still, but he's trying at least.

My daughter received a Mobi Glomate light for her birthday several months ago. We didn't charge it regularly and the battery now holds absolutely no charge. Summer Infant Disney Winnie the Pooh Hunny Hive Bath Toy

While I am a huge fan of Disney, and Winne the Pooh in particular, this toy really fell short at bathtime. The toy has to sit at the exact right angle in order for the flowing water to hit the spinner and make it spin. Even when it is suction cupped to the wall, most of the time the water doesn't make the spinner spin, which really frustrates my son.

Also, I wish the spinner behind the bee was colored. Because it is clear, it isn't very visually stimulating, and very hard to see.

Item is made of Poly Ethylene plastic resin, practically most durable and usable plastic resin out there.

My boys love to dump, transport everything from sand, firewood, stones, each other and yes even our dog gets a ride here and there. I am not sure how much he likes that but ... .

Product is really well designed, constructed and produced.

No question pricey but if you can afford it pays back itself you really do not need to buy another similar item again.

Great Product! These are a TON safer than any other teething keys out there. I have purchased these along with the soother and stacking cups. I am very impressed with the product! My child is only 4 months old and teething and this is so far his favorite thing to chew on. UPDATE-Child is 10 months old and still chews on these and they have held up even with 8 teeth now!!!

I would not recommend this product because as our 6 month old son chews on this teether (the whole point of the product), pieces of the material come off. I respect the intention of this company and product in trying to be green so please improve this part as this is the most important.

We replaced some other plastic keys with these because we weren't sure that the ones we had were safe. To our surprise, our 6 month old baby much preferred these. The other ones were all one hard material while these have a softer chewier part at the tips of the keys that our baby loves to chew on. This was a gift. I applaud Green Sprouts for their good intentions, but it only took me 5 seconds to see the keys were Made in China. Seriously? I cannot fathom how parents ignore the fact this is basically a food item. This is going into your child's mouth. These blocks are great! I wanted a wooden set b/c I figured them would last longer than the cardboard ones...especially with a toddler stacking and restacking them about a million times. Silly Surfer Remote

My one year old LOVES our remotes. We'd reached the point where we were so sick of taking the batteries out and pocketing them (and occasionally losing them in the process) so she couldn't change channels or turn movies off on the rare occasions we sit down for some veg time I had to find a solution. Somewhere years ago I had seen a remote made just for toddlers that really worked for the DVD player but had only a few big buttons. I wanted to find it or something similar but no luck.

Then I found this one. I don't think calling it the "Silly" Surfer remote suits very well since it's not very funny but it has great sound effects and three language options! The light at the top lights up and it's just as big as a real remote. If this were sitting on my sofa with the others I'm certain a guest would think it was just another universal remote. Fortunately it's like the real thing enough my tot likes it and will accept the trade when she gets her hands on the real ones.

The price and shipping do make this a little expensive but not only is it a great toy (we used it as a stocking stuffer), it has been saving our sanity. I highly recommend this one for other parents seeking a nice "let mommy trade you remotes sweetie" option. I know it's been commented to us that we should just have bought a real one and not put batteries in it (cheaper) but this is child safe and with the light/sounds it's more entertaining for the little one.

My 14-month old son was always scheming to get his hands on our remote control. This has helped us keep his little hands (and mouth) from snatching it up and running for cover. He loves to play with this it looks like a real remote and makes lots of noises. So long as I put it down and let him take it rather than offer it to him, it's as good as the real thing.

Baby Einstein Animal Discovery Traditional Flashcards

We received this toy as a baby shower gift for our now 4 month old son. At first, he loved this toy. It was his favorite out of all his many other toys. I was looking at it, and saw a white speck on the coys "pink" face, as I tried to rub it off, the pink paint CAME WITH IT!!!!!! The cows mouth & hooves are actually paint!! And they rub off so easily that it would take nothing for my son to get the paint off with his mouth and swallow it. I think this is a horrible product, WHY WOULD A COMPANY MAKE A BABY TOY WITH PAINT?! It's really such a shame too because my son really did love this toy. I wouldn't reccommend this to anyone.

My 8 month old son will occassionally pick up the toy to use the ring as a teether but he does not care too much for the pictures. I wouldn't buy it for my next child but it was as I expected. Jacob may enjoy it more as he gets older.

Great for little kids and educational, materials are great too. I use them mainly for children photography but also my baby girl loves them!

My son didn't take an interest in just about any toy we gave him until we found these blocks. They are soft, colorful, and make delightful rattling noises. He picked one up immediately and started chewing on it at 5 months old. He rolled over just to get closer to one of them and we knew it was a new favorite. I wish there were some little tabs or texture around the edges to make it easier for the little ones to grasp. I know these blocks will be fun for a while not a throwaway toy, for sure.

Cute product, but important to note that it only comes with the letters A, B, and C not the entire alphabet. May have been oversight on my part, but I should have realized the price was too good to be true for 26 letters. Overall, its an entertaining toy for my one year old.

These blocks are great for my 8 month old. He has fun with them and they are safe for him to fall on, toss and most important, to put in his mouth, because everything goes in his mouth.
