We love this simple and colorful toy. The beaded plastic end makes a fun teething ring. The pages are made from silky, brightly colored fabric that has numbers on one side and photo-realisitic pictures and words on the other, including a dog, cat and sailboat. The front page is crinkly which is a bonus. My 6 month old child loves toys with detail, like tags and prints and she finds this very appealing. Great price too.

This toy is very brightly colored and looks like a baby would enjoy it, but I think that I was more taken with the toy than my 6 month old! I like the crinkly noises that the first page makes. My 6 month old really has no interest in it except to chew on the pages for a few minutes, then he throws it down. They soak up saliva and get very wet very fast. You have to wash this toy and let the cloth pages drip dry. Maybe I will try it again in a month or so when his attention span is a little longer.

My daughter likes the dog and the frog but that's about it. She rarely plays with it. The only page that crinkles is the number 1 which doesn't make any sense to me. Why only one of the pages? The rest of the pages are just fabric which I believe is why she does not play with the toy much. Babies like things that crinkle so it seems silly to only have one page make a noise.

Fisher-Price Giggle Gang - Kiwi

Literally it's tons of giggles. It is initially triggered by a squeeze to the belly but after that, any little motion will set it off. It has to be still for a few minutes (5 or 10) for it to reset and no longer be triggered by motion. That means during a car ride (constant movement!) it will laugh and giggle the -entiretime. So I don't suggest long car rides or you'll have to open it up and turn it off manually. Yes, it does have a manual off which is great. It also allows you to remove the electronic parts entirely so it can be washed-I love that. It's a great toy, very fun to my 8 month old who laughs with it, and I would defently buy again!

I first saw these toys in a store and fell in love with them because their bright colors and cute giggles just made me smile. You push the button on their belly but then you don't need to do more, they trigger each other to keep giggle, or if you touch or shake them a little, they're keep going.

So we bought 4 of them so far, two for me and my boyfriend, two for my sister and her boyfriend.

I highly recommend it as a fun gift to anybody you'd want to cheer up. The giggle machine inside has 3 positions, one to turn it off and two to select volume, which I found very useful. The machine is also removable so you can wash the toy itself.

It's about the size of a big pomegranet (maybe even a tiny bigger), so with the machine inside it's not really a sleeping toy though.

You can find them in many different colors, each with different giggles, I'm definately buying them all :)

Got this as a Christmas gift for my two month old and she LOVES IT!!! She is just starting to coo and every time I get this toy out, she just giggles along with it and melts my heart! I jus looked it up to buy it for a friend and I was a little surprised at the price, though. I feel that this toy will continue to bring my daughter joy for the months to come, though and even my 4 year old niece has one that she loves, so it's probably worth it. It has several different giggles and they are all soft in volume which is nice, and you don't really get overstimulated by it. It's a must-have for infants, in my opinion!

Boikido Wooden Percussion Table

I adore this little percussion table, it definitely has the cute factor and my 14-month old loves to play with it (as well as his 3 year old brother). The only issue we have it that it does tip over easily if any weight is put on the table on either side of the cymbal. I am afraid he will climb on top and topple over, so I can't leave this out when I am not watching closely. I would love to see the manufacturer substitute 2 legs spread out on the back side instead of only 1 in the middle. Otherwise, it is a very nice toy and totally worth the price!

My baby loves this percussion table! It also required very little assembly (yay!) and doesn't take up too much room (double yay!) The only problem with it is that it is a bit unstable and she pulls it over on herself very easily. Therefore, I don't plan to let her play with this without me right there.

I bought this stylish combo of drum, cymbal and xylophone on impulse at a local shop. I nearly returned it the next day due to complaints on this site about it tipping over and the potential for kids to destroy the drum skin. But desperate to entertain my bored 10-month-old lad, I tore it open--and with no regrets.

It is definitely tipsy, apparently because of a design compromise to make it lightweight and easier to ship. But after a few hours of sporadically satisfactory play he figured out that it's just not for standing on: you have to sit down to play with it. The way I see it, the table helped him to actually reason something out. I'm not sure the tippiness is a net negative.

Regarding the drum skin's proneness to damage, we've had the table for 8 months now and the skin's still in very good condition. There are a few small concavities from vigorous pounding, but it sounds brand new. I did work with him several times to hold the drumstick properly, which probably helped.

My biggest complaint is that the xylophone sounds flat. You can still play a fun chiming tune on it, but it definitely doesn't ring out, especially in comparison with the high-volume cymbal and drum. I'd buy it again, partly because I just think it's fun.

I first saw this toy in the Metropolitan Museum of Art Christmas catalogue. When I went to buy it from them they were no longer selling it. I should have realized that this was a bad sign. But I thought is was so cute, and my daughter, who was going to be 16 months by Christmas, is fascinated by music. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. The table is indeed cute. What is not cute is that the xylophone is completely out of tune, and it is difficult to get it to make noise. You have to hit the keys just right. How is a small child supposed to hit the keys just right? The drum and cymbal are better, but the drum is very small, and she gets bored with it very quickly. The table is also a funny height, if she is standing she has to stoop to reach it. And if she sits on something her knees tend to hit it. She is not large for her age, exactly 50th percentile in height. One reason I liked the idea of the table was that it would be too big for her to throw out of her play corral, however it is so light that she can still throw it out, and knock it over, and drop it on her foot, or my foot. She spends more time knocking it over and dropping it than she does playing it. It's really not worth the money.

My son, who is 2 years 3 months, is obsessed with buckles, so my cousins got him this toy for Christmas. He is quite delighted with it! I need to undo the buckles for him, but he loves snapping them back together and is becoming more adept at it. I gave these bees to my baby when she was 3 month old, They are light enough for her to practice lifting, plus the bright color and rattle sounds keep her interested. I also love that these are teether toys although my baby didn't use them much. But at 7-8 month old, She will have nothing to do with them.

I purchased this for my nephew when he was 5 months old and started teething. As I write this review, he is 6 months old now. I initially purchased this item because the description says it has a "teething" section on the toy that helps babies who are teething.

I'm giving this item a 5-star review because not only does he like these toys, but the fact that you get 3 of them for the price. So what that means is for you finicky parents, you can just give your child one at a time and toss them away as they get dirty or what not.

My nephew likes them I assume because because they crinkle, rattle, are visually stimulating, and help him teeth.

Jeep Backpack Harness, Puppy

bought this leash for my son and for the most part worked great until he would turn around. more often then not the leash would rap around his neck, disturbing. i bought a different one that has the leash on the bottom instead of top.

I originally didn't want to put my son on a leash... But he is a wild one! I have an 18 months old who prefers to walk around on his own. (strollers are out of the question). For two months, I have been allowing him to walk around while holding my hand, however recently he has gotten very good at wriggling his hand and wrist to get free from mine. The solution? He now gets to where this harness whenever we go out to the mall or disney (which we visit fairly often). He liked that it was a puppy, and it seems he is perfectly comfortable wearing it, however the fact he was on a leash took him some getting used to (he kept running as fast and far as he could causing himself to jerk back and fall... he is an oddball, and found this funny. After several outings he has finally gotten used to the limited length of the leash, and is attempting to wander off less! My only complaint is I wish the leash and clip that attaches it to the puppy back pack where a little stronger and more durable. It has held up fine thus far, but i am not sure how long it will last against this boy! The price, however, is low enough that I would not complain if i had to replace it after a few months of agressive, heavy use. Overall this was a great buy to keep my little guy happy and safe.

This puppy backpack harness is super cute and huggably soft. We first introduced it to our daughter as a doll and she would hug it and pat it because it was so soft. Then when she started to walk, she was thrilled to bring her favorite puppy dog along. Great idea and great execution. The "leash" part is also plush, which is nice. It tucks into the backpack when not in use. I wish it was a little bit longer, though (it's about 4 ft long I would guestimate). Backpack straps are adjustable, though maybe too easily. The only negative is that the shoulder straps are not plush and can irritate my daughter's neck. Luckily we started using it during winter so usually she has a sweater or a jacket on. Other than that minor complaint, we use it all the time and always get compliments about it. Most importantly, my daughter loves it and likes wearing it when we are out.

This is a very cute way to keep track of my two year old. We just got it today. However, I am very disappointed to see that the front clasp on the harness doesnt stay closed. I dont know if this is faulty craftmanship or what but not happy that now I have to go through the trouble and mail it back.

Update: after spending 10.70 to return the faulty item priority mail I received another one as requested. The one that was sent to me has a clasp that has the same piece on each side. It is impossible to close. I dont know where this seller got their product but this is ridiculous. I wont purchase from them again.

Bashful Giraffe is the third Jelly-Cat stuffed animal I've bought and I love them all. These super-soft, floppy critters are the perfect "first stuffed animal" for a new baby. They are quite light weight and their appendages make them easy for little hands to grab. The biggest plus is that they machine wash beautifully -very important when their owners drool and spit on them!

The stuffed animal is cute and soft and exactly as described and pictured. The only minor problem I had with it is the lack of neck on this stuffed animal. It is a giraffe after all! Versus the other stuffed JellyCat giraffes that have at least an inch or 2 of neck, with this one, the head sits right on the shoulders. When I bought it, I didn't even realize this until I got the package and realized something felt off. Other than that, I still like it.

Originally, I purchased a traditional set of maracas for my 8 month old baby, but he kept putting the handle in his mouth and gagging. I also realized traditional maracas weren't safe for him to play with while crawling. So I put the traditional maracas away for now and bought these. My baby likes the sound and they are easy for him to hold and put in his mouth. Each maraca makes a slightly different sound, which is nice. I attach one to my baby's stroller using the "secure a toy straps" and they are interesting to play with and shake during walks, when out to eat, etc. Overall, this is a pretty inexpensive and fun baby toy. My only complaint is that they are made in China.

Little Mommy Bedtime Baby

I have the Little Mommy doll and a lot of accessories and my two-year old daughter loves them. It has been durable and sturdy, but most of all fun. I can't believe more accessories or related products are not available.

I am confused by some of the poor reviews. Some seem wrong our doll's high chair does not have a cardboard tray (it is hard plastic like the rest of the chair). Others seem picky...complaining about a high forehead? This doll is not meant to be realistic, change the world, or project a certain kind of attitude (like Bratz). It's a doll meant for really small children. That's it. And by that criterion, this doll is a total success.

If you want a 100% realistic doll or one that is more about attitude than fun, then don't buy this doll. It is not for you. But don't criticize it when it doesn't meet your expectations. Complaining about this product is like complaining about a refrigerator for not heating your food or complaining about a record player that doesn't play CDs.

This doll is very sweet and my daughter (18 months) likes her a lot. In fact she has taken her to pre-school a couple times and the doll got very dirty.

Then we found out that because of the battery and electronics you can only surface wash the doll -and since she is made of cloth that is pretty hard to do.

Also, to make the doll make noise, you have to find the button with two fingers (one underneath the dolls toy) and squeeze it. My daughter can find the button, but to make it play she has to ask for help. After all that music only plays for a moment.

I'm thinking about taking the electronics out so that I can at least give her a good handwashing.

This doll is cute, and the little lamb does light up and play a lullabye as advertised. Our doll looks just like the one in the picture. Our one disappointment was that the clothes are not removable. My daughter likes to dress her dolls in different outfits and was very surprised to discover the clothes are sewn right onto the doll. I think this makes the doll a great purchase for toddlers and young preschoolers, but not as appealing for older girls.

This doll was my 10 month olds first doll. It was bought instead of the glow worm, and I am glad for that decision. My daughters face lights up at the sound of a real baby before the music begins. With in an hour of having the doll she taught herself how to press the button for the music. This doll is simply great! The only problem I have is that she doesn't want to share it and cries when you try!

It has a bunch of detachable things and is sturdy enough that it does not tip over when she uses it to pull herself up onto it. The wheels lock so if she wants to face it and play it wont slide away from her. It's a reasonable price also! I highly recommend it.

My little girl loves this toy! We had wood floor and it would fly out from under her, so we had to leave it against the couch. She would still crawl over to it and play with it. We recently got carpet and it rolls perfectly on it! It no longer flys away with her! This was a great purchase!

I bought this for my 9 month old son who is just starting to walk. I was very happy with this product. The wheels can go a little fast (even on carpet), but if you're there to help slow it down it's not a problem. I think if they made this a little heavier it would help it go a little slower. But I'm sure once he gets more confident walking he'll be able to keep up better. I checked out a lot of other walkers, and I have to say I'm so happy I went with this one. There are so many toys and knobs on this one that my lil guy never gets bored. And when I put the brakes on he can play with it forever without running out of something new to play with. Overall this one is just a great value. The cell phone and piano are detachable making it three toys in one. We detach the piano part when my son isn't using the walker and he plays with it all the time. I figure if we were to buy a separate piano toy it would cost at LEAST $15, with the walker being as cheap as it is it's a great buy. My only complaint on this would be that the cell phone is actually just a squeaky toy and isn't electronic. I would rather it make little cell phone sounds or something. But I'm just being picky. Love this toy and would definitely buy it again. :)

Great toy for those babies who havent mastered walking yet but are working at it. My daughter will sit in front of it and play and sometimes kneel or stand to play with the toys higher up and on the sides. It is, however, not at sturdy as i hoped it would be. When she stands and leans on it it rocks so i have it propped against a wall. As far a actually using it for a walker it could also stand to be more sturdy. I wouldn't feel comfortable letting her practice walking with it with being right with her holding the thing down. Oh and the wheels still move on carpet with them locked so be careful. We only use it locked because otherwise it moved to fast. Overall its good but not as good as it could be

I got this for my 7 month old son and he loves it. He is still a little unsteady when walking and standing, so we sit or kneel behind him holding the walker in front. He loves playing with the toys on it, when we put him on his play mat, he goes directly to it! I love that two of the toys are removable and the walker has brakes on the two front wheels (wish it was all four wheels). I would recommend this to everyone with a child learning to walk.

Gund My First Laptop Playset

We got this for our, now 8 mos old, son, in hopes that he'd MAYBE be more interested in it, than in OUR laptop.... well, on THAT note... it failed miserably... lol... but, in its defense.. its just like the remote, ps3 controller, phone etc... everything that adults use that have "magical powers"... lol

But it he does like it quite a bit as long as he can't see any of the "powerful" adult toys. =) The only complaint I had was that it was much smaller than I expected... but that's mostly bcs I didn't read the dimensions and put 2 & 2 together until after it had come. Which make that my own fault.

Our son does like the mirror, the mouse rattle, the crinkly CD.. I bet if it had real buttons on it.. he'd think it was magically powerful too... why not? That's what he thinks of the calculator?! =)

This toy seems extremely durable and is very cute. I'd give it a solid five stars if it did a little more while being pulled. It does wobble and make a little clacking noise that gets the baby's attention.

This little pull toy is wonderful. It is very durable, it's paint has not chipped at all even with being stored in a toy box with lots of other toys. The string is a nice length. It's back is made with moveable pieces of wood that click together but do not click together while being pulled along. I really like this brand I wish there were more Pintoy toys in the United States. Wonderful company that makes durable high quality toys. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a cute toy. My son enjoys taking the rings out and using them as teething toys (everything goes in his mouth these days). It's also washable which is awesome. The only thing I don't like is that the top portion (the head) does not stay on.

Lawnmower Push Toy

I purchased 2 different push toys for my son. This one and PlanToys Preschool Walk N Roll. I felt compelled to write a review comparing noise level. This toy is so much more pleasant. The PlanToys version was VERY loud, and I am going to return it.

This toy also has a 2-piece handle so that it can be adjusted as the child grows older.

I bought this for our year-old great grandson. He received many toys and things for his birthday. His mother told me that is favorite toy is the Push Toy. When she vacuums, he walks behind her with the Lawnmower Push Toy with a big smile on his face. This toy was recommended to me by a friend who is also a grandmother. I'm sure he will be outdoors "mowing the lawn" with his Dad this summer. It doesn't make any noise to distract visitors or his mother using her phone.

Was deciding between this and the classic lawnmower style push toy with the wooden slats on the outside and balls inside. Followed another reviewer's advice regarding the noise and am very happy I did. This makes enough sound to interest my one-year-old but isn't one of those toys that you end up taking away because you can't stand the racket any more. As far as push toys go, if you have a small house with narrow spaces for the child and toy to negotiate, this is much more practical than some of the larger walker/push toys out there.

My one year old loved this. He pushes and pulls it around the house. It does not make annoying sounds just enough to keep him interested plus no batteries required. He just got it and already has had hours of enjoyment. Many toys today have a "learning" toy label on them but in my opinion they are just noise makers but with this one I can actually see him building his skills. Quality is good and should last.
