This little SUV is adorable, and my kids like it. It only has room for Mom and Baby in it , you can't pack the whole family in. My daughter is a little sad the doors don't open, I wish they did.

I paid $8 for this and would recommend not paying the full $17 Amazon has it listed for. It's cute but not worth the $17 IMO.

This little people SUV is a cute addition to the Little People House our daughter has. It sings a cute song, and makes some fun car sounds. It has a few movable parts. It's nothing too fancy, but our 21 month old daughter enjoys pushing her different little people around in it for pretend play. It is also very durable, as it's been dropped and stepped on already.

I bought this on clearance right before Christmas, since the price was so good and my daughter likes Little People toys. She just turned two and has been enjoying it, but I was surprised that for an "Open and Close SUV" that neither of the doors actually open. Rubie's Costume Deluxe Shark Romper Costume

I ordered this costume for my baby who will be 10 months old for Halloween but already wears size 18m at 8 months old. The description of the costume in the search results says it is size 2-4, but there are buttons that allow you to select size 0-6 months, 6-12 months, or 12-24 months. I figured a size 12-24 months would be perfect for my baby this year, and probably still fit him next year. What arrived was a size 2-4T costume. This is okay, because I will be able to use it in the future, but it is not the size I thought I ordered so be aware when you are ordering that you may get a size 2-4T regardless of the size you specify.

The costume looks cute, and although it's too big for my baby this year it will be a fun costume next year.

I really adore this doll and so does my eight month old daughter. It's a really nice size and she loves to chew on the knot on the cap and on the hands and feet, then cuddle the soft velour body as she sleeps. The fact that there's no stuffing in the body makes her especially cuddly.

The only thing that disappointed me, though I admit my daughter really doesn't care, is that the doll that was sent to me is different than the one pictured. Ours has a brightly colored polka dot hat and collar which I don't care for. The one pictured is much more subtle and the pattern seems to go better with the pale pink velour. But all in all, not a big deal and I'm sure she will be loved and cuddled for years to come.

Bell Infant Mini Helmet

I never imagined how difficult it would be to find a bike helmet for my daughter, who just turned 1. Every helmet I find from the reputable brands (Bell, Gyro, Schwinn) are always advertised for ages 3 and up, and although my darling girl did inherit her father's larger than average head, the "toddler size" helmet just seemed too large and heavy for her. I came upon this helmet at a local sporting goods store yesterday, and it fits my girl perfectly!!! The only thing I had to do was adjust the chin strap to be a little tighter, and it's perfect! She even likes it, which surprised me, since she DOES NOT like hats, bows, etc. on her head. The buckle seems to be a great design that will eliminate the risk of pinching her. I also like the flashers/reflectors on the back, as an added visibility factor. We tried her in her bike seat, and it seems like it will work out great. We are all looking forward to our first family bike ride, and since we are in Florida, and it's 80 degrees in December, that may even happen this weekend! Kudos to Bell for what seems to be a great helmet for our smallest rider.

Tiny Love Double-Sided First Book

This is an adorable book but probably not worth the money. I like the look of it but my baby has yet to be mesmerized by either side of if (had from 3-5months of age). It's also very bulky and difficult to fold up or to bend into the accordion shape you want (unlike a board book version). I would suggest Tana Hoben's Black & White accordion book for kids under 6months this has been a much bigger hit for us and folds up compactly and can be set up fairly straight out or bent into different shapes depending on the space you have.

This is the very best newborn toy that I have ever purchased. All 3 of my children loved this book, literally from the moment they were born. Stimulates peripheral vision, which is what infants use, and later works great on the floor for tummy time. I have yet to meet a baby who does not love this book. Absolutely worth the price, for the machine washability, quality, and durability. Mine still looks brand new, after years of use. Buy it, buy it, buy it!

My son has stared at the images on this since he was one week old. It has ties on it so you can tie it to the crib. I tied it inside his play pen around the head end when he was 10 weeks old and it made him cry less at tummy time. In just 2 weeks, he now looks forward to tummy time so he can stare at the images. He looks the longest at the flower and the snail. Today I brought it out of the playpen, onto the floor (the accordian design keeps it standing up even after months of being tied to the crib side) and turned it around to the colorful side and the result was amazing! he cooed at it during tummy time for 15 minutes! This is especially great because I can fold it up and take it with me for the afternoon or on vacation so he can have tummy time anywhere! I would highly recommend this product!

I got this bear for my son in a hospital gift shop after he had a horrid bout with the flu by the time we got home, he was fast asleep, cuddling his new bear. The color is a bright, dark red, and the corduroy is a bit on the wider wale side. It's also perfect cuddling size :)

My 12 month old baby loves these cups. As soon as I opened these, he was fascinated. He discovered right away how to put the cups inside eachother. It seems that I could have gotten these much sooner. I had been looking for a long time for cups made from bpa-free plastic because I wanted him to be able to play with them in the bath and I knew that he would put them in his mouth. I couldn't find any. He can't play with these in the bath, but they are great. The colors are so bright and the wood is very durable after many times being thrown to the floor. A previous reviewer mentioned that they have a strane taste. It is true, but my husband assures me that this wood and finish (milk paint it seems?) is very safe.

This is such a simple, yet versatile toy. This toy has been used to practice stacking and unstacking, to knock over towers, to put things in, and with the upcoming developmental milestones I am sure it will be put to other great uses. An absolute favorite and it is looked for during each play time. I would purchase this toy over and over again. Love the colors and durability.

I was coming to order this as a gift for a young nephew and after reading the reviews, I wanted to share our experience. I approach toy buying with a quality over quantity approach. My daughter received this toy when she was about 9 months old. It got used a lot until she was about 4. In combination with Grimm's Small Wooden 6-Piece Rainbow Conical Stacking Tower, Made in Germany and Haba Baby's First Blocks (or some other colorful blocks) there are a lot of possible ways of manipulating and arranging. Now that she's 6, these occasionally get used as bowls for feeding toy animals. They're really a great size for small hands.

As far as the quality of them, I'm sure you could break them but we always taught our daughter to be careful with her toys (or tried to). After 6 years the colors still look lovely and if anything they've gotten smoother over time -though they were quite smooth to start.

Another reviewer mentioned Melissa and Doug. At a public playroom we visit we've gotten to see how their "wood" toys hold up. They're all made of engineered wood which after the finish is abraded you can see that they're more glue than wood.

My kids love all the Green Toys trucks. I got my daughter a pink on so it could be just hers because her brother steals them all. They're an awesome size, hard to lose and extremely durable. Can't wait to get more.

I purchased this dump truck for my 3-year old girl because it was the only pink one I could find. After receiving the shipment and playing with it for a week, I think the price is a little high for the quality (I paid thirty dollars).

Some of the wheels get stuck a lot and don't spin, causing the plastic to scrape off the tire treads when pushed across the floor/ concrete. The truck is also smaller than I expected for the price. I do appreciate that this toy is made of recycled material, but I think for this price, the wheels should rotate more smoothly.

Aside from above, the plastic does seem very durable and I don't expect it to crack or break with rough use. It survived a toss down the carpeted basement stairs just fine.

I purchased this Happy Dump Truck for my 3 month old grandson! Yes, 3 month old. He loves it! The bright colors caught his eyes right away and as you move it from one side of him to the other he turns his head to follow it. Since it is small (removed the red ball in the dump bed) in size, apprx. 4"x6") he actually can grab hold of it and pull it up his chest. I can place it beside him when he is laying in his crib and he almost can flip over to grab it. I also purchased the front end loader and the cement truck and he loves them just as much. Well worth the money because he is having fun with it at 3 months and I am positive he will enjoy it more at 3 years old when he can wheel it around on the floor.

This is a great little dump truck for small hands! It's well made and easy to rinse off after a trip to the sandbox. The "boulder" I could take or leave. Half the toys we own came with balls about this size so it's lost among a hundred other brightly colored plastic spheres.

My daughter loves it. I just wish it had a bit more variety in songs. It says the same things over and over. Each item has two things it says. For example, the bird. The first time you hit the bird he says something nice about the bird, the next time he sings a song about it. Same with Bee and butterly. The bee is too hard for little fingers to use. I think it is pretty boring but my kid likes it.

I got this for my 7 months old daugther for Christmas and she loves it. It says different things and songs. My daugther's favorite is to catch the butterfly. She also loves that it sings. Highly recommended.

I purchased this toy for my nephew who is 5 months old. It is very well made and brightly colored. The only gripe I have is that the toy is much smaller than I originally thought. It is no bigger than the palm of my hand. I thought it would be bigger than that. After finding that it was smaller than I expected I questioned the price, but the quality is excellent so I am happy with it. I bought this little work bench for my great grandson at the age of 16 months. Two months later, it is still his favorite toy. The bench was smaller than I expected, but that turned out to be just fine with my little guy as he can sit and use it rather than having to stand at it. He quickly learned to use the tools and is always finding screws and bolts on household furniture, etc. that he pretends to be fixing. He also has lots of fun with the little bolts, etc. that came with the bench. It is also more durable than I thught it would be. He has taken it completely apart many times, banged on it, and basically been very rough with it, but it has endured all without any breaks or splits. I admit when I first took it out of the box, I thought it was not worth the money, but soon changed my mind.

I bought this for my son for his 1st birthday because he's always trying to get into my toolbox to play with my tools. While the listing here states that it's appropriate for children over 1, there is a warning on the box that it is not appropriate for children under 3. It can be made safer by removing the smaller parts without too much impact on the quality of play, but it does require a bit of extra supervision for safe under-3 play.

Wonderworld New Stacking Rings

This toy is a favorite of my 13-month old. Even though the toy seems rather primitive for a grown-up, he stacks it and plays with the rings endlessly. The colors on the picture look somewhat "chemical", but in fact they're not as glossy and are very natural-looking yet bright. As others have also noted, the paint does not chip (it is very similar to the paint on Haba blocks). I couldn't find the country of origin listed on the site, but, if anyone's interested, the toy is made in Thailand (at least mine is).

It also feels safe to play with since the rod is very thick with a rounded end. The surface is very smooth. It's a classic toy and I'm sure will be enjoyed and will last for quite a while.

My wife and I both had fond, vivid memories of the Fisher Price plastic version of this toy from our childhood. It had apparently made such an impact on us in our formative years that we definitely wanted to share that experience with our new baby. But we also love wooden toys, so when we saw this, it was the perfect meeting of the two.

My wife is completely satisfied and says the stacking rings are exactly what she expected, but I had hoped the center post would be conical, and that the rings would be toroidal. Instead, the rings are more like discs, with a uniform hole drilled through each one, and the pole is cylindrical. This means the rings can be put on in any order. It's not a big deal, and I still really like the toy, but a big part of the educational experience I wanted from this toy was the idea that the rings only go on in a certain order. It's a profound logical/mathematical lesson.

Maybe I'm just not enough of a free spirit. I am very happy with the toy; I just wish I'd known ahead of time how it was constructed.

I just love wooden toys and purchased a bunch of Wonderworld and Melissa & Doug toys for our son's first Christmas. As one other reviewer mentioned, this is great for toddlers but our son is 8 months old and still plays with it. The rings are nice and chunky (not too thick) and right now are being used as chew toys. I, on the other hand, play with this toy too in front of our son so he can watch. I stack the rings up without the pole and let him knock the stack over. I twirl the rings around really fast on their sides (hard floor) and he watches them smack into each other. I stack them on the pole randomly and he just watches. I also say the colors as I pick the rings up. Yeah, I know he's too young to understand but he watches and looks attentive when I play with them!

The best thing about this stacker is the pole is a uniform width. For example, the small purple ring fits all the way to the bottom. So you can stack them anyway you like, mixing up the colors and sizes. Someone got us the Fisher Price stacker (many people consider this the classic toy but I like wooden toys best) and the pole is fat on the bottom and small at the top so you can't put the small ring on the bottom. Also, the rings for the Fisher Price stacker are wider and our son can't grasp it well (yet).

A toy that I enjoy playing with totally gets 5 stars and I enjoy playing with it as much as our son loves chewing on it.

I bought this for our 1 year old granddaughter, and she likes it well. It is sturdy and interesting in a classic toy way. The wood has a nice tactile feel that is superior to plastics, in my opinion, or at least a nice change from all the plastic stuff out there. A child can put it together, take it apart, or play with the pieces. It doesn't light up or make music, but it does what it should and will last until she tires of it, when it can be passed along. The paints are nontoxic, and the workmanship is good, with no rough edges.

First of all, FYI: this mirror is a distorting mirror. This feature used be my big concern, but after I did a lot of scientifical research about the baby`s reaction to a real mirror when compare to a distorting mirror, the research result is that: no significate difference!!!(they r both good), Moreover, scientists also recommend not use breakable mirror, which made by glass, for a baby. That`s why I finally settle down with distorting mirror which usually made by plastic and its more safe for a baby.

ok, next, I will address why I strongly recommend this product as following reasons:

1, first time when I saw it in TARGET supermarket, I found it is made by very good material and well designed, with vivid animal and colorful decorationCIt touched very soft and the stitchwork details are very delicate.

2, and when I further check this mirror, I found it`s not only a mirror , but also with some function, for expample, the green color whale can make a cute sound when you squeeze it(and some more you will find out :P ).

3.altough its a distorting mirror and made by plastic, the image looks very good , I can see my face clearly in this mirror.

4, This mirror PLAY MAGIC!! ----I placed it beside my baby`s changing pad and my baby noticed it very soon ( my baby was only 10weeks then ), he used to be fuzzy when he was changed diaper but since the day he notice this mirrior, he never cry at all when I change the diaper, but instead, he always talks to the mirror and smile too!

5, Recently, my baby reach his 4 months and very like to reach out his hand and catch the red little seahorse which attached to the mirror. my baby really LOVE it, (plz check my shared pictures)

6, and after I reviewed other people`s review here, I found this mirrow may also good for my baby`s tummy time, so I purchased one more and tested it. The result is that, this mirror PLAY MAGIC AGAIN!

my baby used to cry or fuzzy when in tummy time(could not bare even 30 second), but now, this mirror can help him to enjoy the tummy time as long as 10 minutes.

7, last but not lest, this mirror can stand very sturdy with a triangle wide open design.

We wanted a safe mirror for our little one to play with (5 months). This fits the bill perfectly. There are a few things that might be minor annoyances, but are good for him.

1st pro/con: it folds flat/it collapses! This totally depends on your point of view! Those medium blue colored triangles are simply flaps of fabric. This is great for storage, but... I honestly thought it might be a pillow wedge thing, and it isn't. There isn't anything interesting on the second side either. (and there is no third side of the triangle. And yes, I recognize that the flaps are technically two additional sides... just go with it!)

2nd pro/con: it has taggies! Each of my children has LOVED tags on their toys. Steiff? Tag in ear? nom nom nom! Cheap plush with tag? nom nom nom! Random shirt from the laundry with tag? NOM NOM! So I knew that the Taggies concept would likely be tag overload, but in a good way. However...

I noticed it 8 years ago, and it's true for all the subsequent children, too. No matter how many tags, they will ALWAYS go for the product tag. The one that is a little different, that isn't the ribbon. It usually has the washing instructions on it. That tag gets the most chewing.

3rd pro/con! It's lightweight! So, my 5 month old can manipulate the whole thing. And my 5 month old can easily knock it over and lose interest. This kinda cycles back to the fold flat thing. A casual swipe and it's folded flat. Out of sight out of... SQUIRREL!

Finally: the "seahorse" on the left of the mirror has the crunchy sound. The fish on the top right has a quiet rattler in it. The green whale at the bottom right has a squeaker that my 5 month old cannot manipulate in it. But hey, it gives me something to do.

TBH, I wanted nothing more than to buy this Portal-themed plushie and love the ever-loving heck out of it... But before you purchase one just out of pure squee-inducing delight, there are some minor construction issues you may want to be aware of.

Issue #1: Not really that plush.

Considering the variety of soft, plushy materials out there... the makers of this cube do not use them. The outer fabric is polyester fiber, and reminds me of a well-loved blanket that has gone through the wash too many times. The material is sort of felt-like, and borderlines on abrasive. It's still quite squeezable (and makes a good pillow in a pinch!), but I would love this cube so much harder if it was just a wee bit softer on the face.

Issue #2: Other scratchy parts.

The 'tabs' supporting each side of the face (those little gray rectangles in the picture) have scratchy edges, reminiscent of velcro. But they don't really serve a purpose. They are a design decision that detracts from the overall product. Did I mention they're scratchy?

Issue #3: Asymmetry (at least on mine).

This bothers my OCD side. The 'top' and 'bottom' faces don't match up. If the top heart faces north-south, the bottom heart faces west-east... All the other hearts at least face the same direction...

THAT BEING SAID. I love my Companion Cube. I will not tolerate friends who try to mock-euthanize it either. But know what you're getting before-hand. This toy is for adult fans of Portal, not for the infants of adult fans of Portal. Now excuse me while I go cuddle with my cube.
